It's a Day Angling to Tame a Tempestuous Summer Thing

Dear America,

dear dear america...

the summer recess, the tempest
...who knew?

Over the last few months -- beginning at the barbecue and ending with the first day of school (today! YAY!)  -- we've had a ruckus, riotous republican debate, a tenacious Trump Takeover of the conversation (all of them), a thoroughly corrupted, and catastrophically crumbling,  of the Clinton campaign -- complete with viable contenders just waiting for the nod (Biden/Warren), and now a stock market -- in free fall.

good times, eh?

Personally, my summer was all over the place.

My days were a lost cause and perpetually one glass of one from telling everyone what I really think ----- given up to a heavier work schedule, my girl home and never home all at the same time (ugh yeah, you figure it out...so tired), with no time to write, no time to myself, no space to percolate and opine on the thoughts of the day, all I could do was listen to my mind rattle, non-stop.  And boy, it was noisy.

Having said that, little old gthang was lucky enough to get a mini-vacation in Disneyland.  Truth be told, it was awfully hard to return.   I wanted to stay.  Perhaps forever.   Perhaps hiding out on Tom Sawyer's island, or better still, the Swiss Family Robinson tree house!  Frontier land take me away!  

Which reminds me --

One of my favorite childhood memories was an evening in the Going Family station-wagon (circa 1972), overflowing with popcorn and giggles at the drive-in, and falling in love with the big screen while cultivating the itty bitty imagination just under the surface, and just beginning to settle in under the blankets and starlight, leaving imprints large and small for a lifetime of inspiration and budding ambitions.   Easily, my dream of living in a tree house was doable --  and upon my own private island even better; the family Swiss told me so and in no uncertain terms. 

Wait a minute...

perhaps we need a refresher of some thoughts long, long ago.

THE GIVING TREE day, one of my best days, if I don't say so myself.  (And I did.)

America, the ever evocative Giving Tree -- inspires dreams far and wide.

And speaking of immigration --   Constitution, be damned; is that our final answer?  No.

How ironic -- this thing called a border -- but otherwise fully recognized, in a slimy, suspect, politically correct, raising baby-leftists kind of way, a sordid port of entry, come one, come all.   This border -- unnaturally becoming world renowned as a porous, lawless, senseless 2000 miles of imaginary lines, thereby allowing for unconscionable acts against the sovereignty of a nation that once prided itself upon the Rule of Law in which it supposedly stands.

Here's some BREAKING NEWS FROM THE BORDER (and considering my homestead being only a cool 45 minute coastal drive south to Mexico -- the San Ysidro border town is local news to me):

As of Wednesday, foreign pedestrians crossing into Mexico between San Diego and Tijuana are required to present a passport, fill out paperwork and, if they are staying for longer than one week, pay a 330-peso fee (about $20).

Oh really?

Hilarious, isn't it?

Carlos de la Fuente is quoted as saying:

"The way that people enter Mexico has been growing very disorganized, and now we are making it organized, that's the big difference."

Are we laughing, or what?

And yet, here's some fine print for you --    although this new law is great and is designed to coincide with the Mexican Law, it has it's limitations; it only applies to pedestrians; if you drive across the border, no questions, no paperwork, no fuss.

But let's not get lost in the details, shall we...

The thing is, how difficult would it be just to duplicate Mexican Law at this point?   What difference at this point does it make?  Whether following our own Immigration law, our Constitution, or Mexican Law --- let's just ask for all people crossing the border into America to physically stand in line and show a passport like everybody else.  The wait alone should curb many from even trying.

Oh wait.  Right.  We have a line.

Lines, spines, America has keines...none, zilch, nada, nil... (Und das ist alles nicht gut.   Exactly;  and what else would you expect from just a girl, her name is Gretchen?)

Would just love to hear how would he characterize the free style border crossing going the other way? A Godsend?  perhaps...

Now, realizing I am swinging from branch to branch without the full capacity or energy to detail all that needs to be said (after all it is my first day back...), allow me to tie in just one more thing before I go;  let me just add this -- The Donald is growing on me.

Donald Trump is the prototypical, archetypal and testosterone-driven alpha male who rules by the sheer force of his personality, imposing physique, quick wit, mastery of repartee and almost hypnotic control over his gathering masses of adoring followers. It's I Like the Idea of a Black President Thing

Dear America,

you would think it would be the progressives out front on this...

you would think it would be all about looking ahead, not back...

you would think it would be personified in ushering in a new era through election, by the people and for the people, celebrating the first black American president -- and thereby, catapulting America into a brand new world all over again, reveling in the New American Heritage Dictionary's definition of a more perfect union...finally.

But then again, maybe it's just me.

Having said that -- and purely upon the merits --  this girl could not vote for this president.

For the record, perhaps the only thing this girl appreciated of this man before he became president was what seemed to be a natural eloquence when framing his dreams and visions of one America, under God and according to the Rule of Law.  This president was, and is, very good at it.

Until perhaps now.

No, now he is just making a mockery of both position and principles.

Here's the entire paragraph plucked from The New Yorker, the puff piece getting all the buzz, expressly written by David Remnick: On and Off the Road with Barack Obama --

Obama’s election was one of the great markers in the black freedom struggle. In the electoral realm, ironically, the country may be more racially divided than it has been in a generation. Obama lost among white voters in 2012 by a margin greater than any victor in American history. The popular opposition to the Administration comes largely from older whites who feel threatened, underemployed, overlooked, and disdained in a globalized economy and in an increasingly diverse country. Obama’s drop in the polls in 2013 was especially grave among white voters. “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black President,” Obama said. “Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black President.” The latter group has been less in evidence of late.

Let's regroup, shall we?

74% of the voters in 2008 election were white.  Obama gained 43% of that voting share (McCain got 55%) .  Last I checked, without that white vote of nearly half, Obama would not have been elected, or re-elected in 2012.

Perhaps equally telling, is what comes in the statements immediately thereafter:

"There is a historic connection between some of the arguments that we have politically and the history of race in our country, and sometimes it’s hard to disentangle those issues,” he went on. “You can be somebody who, for very legitimate reasons, worries about the power of the federal government—that it’s distant, that it’s bureaucratic, that it’s not accountable—and as a consequence you think that more power should reside in the hands of state governments. But what’s also true, obviously, is that philosophy is wrapped up in the history of states’ rights in the context of the civil-rights movement and the Civil War and Calhoun. There’s a pretty long history there. And so I think it’s important for progressives not to dismiss out of hand arguments against my Presidency or the Democratic Party or Bill Clinton or anybody just because there’s some overlap between those criticisms and the criticisms that traditionally were directed against those who were trying to bring about greater equality for African-Americans. The flip side is I think it’s important for conservatives to recognize and answer some of the problems that are posed by that history, so that they understand if I am concerned about leaving it up to states to expand Medicaid that it may not simply be because I am this power-hungry guy in Washington who wants to crush states’ rights but, rather, because we are one country and I think it is going to be important for the entire country to make sure that poor folks in Mississippi and not just Massachusetts are healthy."

The president continually holds the present day accountable according to the way it was, not the way it is --   "But what’s also true, obviously, is that philosophy is wrapped up in the history of states’ rights in the context of the civil-rights movement and the Civil War and Calhoun. There’s a pretty long history there."  


"Obviously," he says.  You could be one of those people -- you know, those who legitimately see government growing too big --  BUT that would just be plain wrong, or misguided, at best.

"The flip side is I think it’s important for conservatives to recognize and answer some of the problems that are posed by that history..."

Which is hilarious, considering that much of that "history" came at the hands and lawlessness of the southern, liberal, white democrat, coming at a time well after a Republican White president -- Abraham Lincoln -- took this country to hell and back on behalf of preserving civil rights for all Americans!

Before he was elected, this president was neither "red America" or "blue America," but imagining America to be the color purple.  Moreover, whether or not he was On or Off the Road, Barack Obama didn't seem to be about black America or white America, at all -- for this was the very reason why America fell for him so hard and so fast.   Obama lived the embodiment of two worlds, melded into a statesman over time and history and ultimately making way for an American milestone. (Or so we thought.)

Today, now more often off base and entirely off his inaugural message of unification and assimilation and affirmation of American ideals, in principle and in action -- this president leads by false premises and empty promises and now force, as this president declares allegiance to his pen and phone.

Here's an interesting turnabout, and seems to fit quite nicely with this discussion...

Telling WND, [Nat Hentoff] "firmly believed the president does not care about due process, the separation of powers, the concept of a self-governing republic or many other basic American ideals." And adding, "what Obama is doing now is about as un-American as you can get."

"Apparently he doesn’t give one damn about the separation of powers," Hentoff said.
Obviously, this girl added.

This is why, David Remnick, "Obama lost among white voters in 2012 by a margin greater than any victor in American history."  Presidency by Executive Order is prohibitive; no matter the color of the skin, it goes against the character of who we are.

A good friend of mine, someone I see almost daily, said to me that she was soooo excited for Hillary -- feeling free to add,  this country needs a woman president... that all things considered, it would be about damn time, blah blah blah... wouldn't she do a better job at it...blah blah blah. 

And I just about bit her head off.

Oh the willpower it took.

I stopped for a few deep breaths and then...
 promptly bit her head off.

It's like c'mon! !  Are you kidding me?  You would settle for this "what difference at this point does it make" liar to reconcile the playing field, as if to give some kind of time and context warped feminine mystic a chance?  Are you serious?   A woman who decidedly chose to 'stand by her' man, over and over and over again, presumably for political gains under grotesque public shames -- as his philandering little billy played hide and seek with various cohorts?  Or how about the Clinton's being drowned in controversies, even before taking the Oath of Office? 

The thing is -- this gal couldn't care less about any of it; she felt it was just time for a woman and that this woman -- Hillary -- seemed to have paid her dues and earned it, no matter where the arguments on the merits were to lead.  Woman to woman, hear me roar -- this makes me want to puke.

Meanwhile, an overwhelming majority of women -- white, black, Hispanic, Asian, other -- voted for Barack Obama, too.

Some may have voted for him because he is a liberal, while for some, even better, because he is a progressive; but for some -- if we are going to be honest (including 95% of the black vote)  --  they voted for him because he IS black -- and surely many because he was not an old white, conservative male, right girls?  

And anywho, just like the president said -- "There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black President...Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black President.”  What's the big deal in that, right -- no  harm, no foul.

[Something not covered in any stat, however, is taking into account how cute Obama is...now that would be telling, oooh baby baby, oooh baby baby...but I digress.]

Obviously, Michelle frowns upon us voting by sex appeal.

But just to clear up any lingering confusion, Mr. President -- when you say, with regards to some folks who really don't like you, that it's just because they don't like the idea of a black president -- you are clinging to a history shared with however many other stupid Americans.  And that is simply placing ignorance before progress.  Thanks for setting us up for taking us another fifty years back.  [And how ironic, given this news broke on the Honorable Reverend Martin Luther King holiday.]

I happen to like the idea of a black president....even a black woman president -- as long as that idea comes with conservative principles, an honest track record, a solid plan for America's future, and clings to the Rule of Law, wholeheartedly -- without apology, without ceasing, and with a whole lot of Divine Providence leading the way.   For without ALL of that coming together in one idea -- he's just another arrogant, shortsighted, empty, powerless man thinking he's in charge of the world anywhere from four to eight years.

It's a Coordinated Red Thread of Radicals to Fundamental Transformation Thing

did you really think "fundamental transformation" would look any different than this?

In order to get to the place that is thoroughly and fundamentally transformed, whatever operates in conflict with such a transformation -- either directly or indirectly -- must be removed, eliminated; all opposition must be taken out and become the new  non-event,  deemed obsolete and totally dispensable for the common good, and basically ridiculed, harassed and demonized until its gone.   poof!

Oh Alinsky rules, doesn't he?

What a brilliant, brilliant mind.

On the back cover of my edition of Rules for Radicals, A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals, a quote is offered up as enticement:

"Alinsky's techniques and teachings influenced generations of community and labor organizers, including the church-based group hiring a young [Barack] Obama to work on Chicago's South Side in the 1980's....Alinsky impressed a young [Hillary] Clinton, who was growing up in Park Ridge at the time Alinsky was the director of the Industrial Areas Foundation in Chicago."

What is happening within the IRS is not an anomaly of this administration, or the teachings and workings of Saul Alinsky -- or for that manner, the tactics and teachings and workings of a "young [Barack] Obama."

"I have no patience with it. I will not tolerate it and we will make sure we find out exactly what happened on this."  said the aged President Obama yesterday...“If you’ve got the IRS operating in anything less than a neutral and non-partisan way then that is outrageous, it is contrary to our traditions and people have to be accountable and it’s got to be fixed."

Earth to reality check:  "lower level bureaucrats" don't just shoot from the hip and out their paper pushing-behinds pursuing 'fundamental transformation', funneling their energies by attacking organizations formally supporting "the other side" without a directive from somewhere else.   That kind of thing comes from a coordinated effort somewhere higher up in the chain of command.


While a report this morning completes that thought -- to a degree, anyway -- by claiming management is to blame.


This didn't just start like last Friday, folks.  It isn't an isolated incident in and around "Cincinnati," okay...

A caller on today's RUSH LIMBAUGH reminded all of us how Joe, the plumber, was targeted by the IRS immediately after his brush up with the president in the 2008 campaign.   How dare you, Joe, speak to [Barack] Obama like that...questioning redistribution and all...we'll show you....and promptly plastering Joe's financials all over the place.

And check this out from Breitbart;  it details outrageous allegations against the Obama camp, returning to an issue that became campaign fodder over a year ago:

"NOM [National Organization of Marriage]   announced Tuesday that it will sue the IRS for this alleged leak. Under immense political pressure, Attorney General Eric Holder launched a criminal investigation into the IRS's actions. Congress will conduct its own investigation.

In early April 2012, NOM published documents which it said showed this leaked confidential information did not come from a “whistleblower” but “came directly from the Internal Revenue Service and was provided to NOM's political opponents, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).” 

The Human Rights Campaign's president at the time, Joe Solmonese, "said in the release he felt Romney’s 'funding of a hate-filled campaign designed to drive a wedge between Americans is beyond despicable.' "  Oh right, because those of us who want to simply support traditional marriage are "hate-filled" bigots.   But the leveling of fundamental damage was in motion; in splendid liberal turn -- in perfect, synchronized coordination --  the full story was planted upon the pages of The Huffington Post with pride and prejudice.

And Joe -- Joe Solmonese --
oh he left the HRC and went on to work directly with the re-election campaign of [Barack] Obama the very next day.

"'After software removed the layers obscuring the document, it is shown that the document came from the Internal Revenue Service,' NOM asserted in its April 2012 release...Only the IRS would have the Form 990 with ‘Official Use’ information'....'The American people are entitled to know how a confidential tax return containing private donor information filed exclusively with the Internal Revenue Service has been given to our political opponents whose leader also happens to be co-chairing President Obama's reelection committee,' said [Brian] Brown."

“It is shocking that a political ally of President Obama's would come to possess and then publicly release a confidential tax return that came directly from the Internal Revenue Service," he declared. "We demand to know who is responsible for this criminal act and what the Administration is going to do to get to the bottom of it.”

Indeed.

Shocking.

Outrageous, even.

But you want to know what's even more outrageous?

What's outrageous is allowing Eric Holder investigate it.   We, the people, should feel secure leaving a political appointee of this regime in charge of investigating this crime?  Are you kidding me?

Do you even remember what [Barack] Obama calls the Tea Party? 

He often refers to the genuine, grassroots efforts by everyday citizens generally recognized as the Tea Party, as Tea Baggers -- a gay slur -- forever linking the derogatory, vagrant, seedy slip of the tongue with the Tea Party.

And now remember how quickly it became cool to make fun of the Tea Party Patriots from coast to coast.

Ridicule and delegitimize opposition;  it's simply brass tack tactics for the typical community organizer.

And then there is this --

Have we fallen down a rabbit hole?  Are we in some kind of parallel America that really lives on the other side of the world, the other side of sanity, the other side of liberty, sitting fundamentally transformed  yet suffocating under a pillow of goose feathers and soft tyranny?

We can't ask tough questions of a president now?    Thank you, Larry.

We can't even run a fair and balanced campaign running on the merits.

We can't bear arms?  Thank you, knee jerk reactions following the horror of Newtown....Oh, unless it's bearing arms for Fast & Furious or gun running in Benghazi.

The outrageous things this shadow government stands for are finally coming to the surface.  The smudges are glaring, catching our eye no matter where we turn our heads.

But none of this should surprise any of us.

A sinister, creepy realization has come to light.    The uber-coordinated efforts to attack and eliminate opposition in order to FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM AMERICA through deep background and bureaucracy -- through any means possible and available -- even if it's illegal -- thank you A/P -- is hardly outrageous for a community organizer.  It's all in a day's work, and the more under-world the better.   Thank you, Chicago.

There is a coordinated, red thread chaining together each and every dereliction of duty -- whether it be from the Department of Justice, the State Department, the Executive Branch and the Office of the President of the United States.

The only thing really intolerable, inexcusable, and outrageous to the community organizer is getting caught.

That is what we see on the face of our president -- shame.  The shame of getting caught.

This is a sad day for America.

It's a Cymbalta Kind of Day Thing

Dear America,

Depression hurts.

sure, it's a slogan of one of the many anti-depressant drug manufacturers, Cymbalta -- but contrary to much of the advertising we hear everyday, depression, in fact, does...you know, hurt.

And I believe it's highly contagious.

It's bad enough to know Tamarlan was questioned by the FBI and released on his own recognizance.  It's bad enough that there were clear signs that this dude, especially, went bad.  But it doesn't end there, does it.  It gets bad, er.

What's depressing is hearing that the entire Tsarnaev family received assistance from the state.  Are you kidding me?

No, no, got a better one --

The "Boston bomb suspect's name was on classified government watch lists."   Now that's something stunning, less depressing, almost shocking, really.   Is there a pill to take for that? 

And note that the article phrases it such that there is more than one "list."   Forget about checking the list twice -- how about we try checking the lists, all of them, every now and again, and simply track these people down, monitor their activities, put two and two terrorists together.  Huh? 

Perhaps someone, somewhere in the system, could even be so bold as to wonder, hmmm, just how does this guy manage to drive a Mercedes, being on welfare and all?    Huh?  (And I'm feeling compelled to give a big, bad shout out to CNN for the stellar crib notes version of the family's challenges assimilating into the American way of life, beginning with, "[Eventually], they were reunited -- a family of six whose American journey contained elements of a struggle to fit in and success in making a new life.") 

Hmmm.   Instead of welfare, perhaps we should consider handing out Cymbalta like candy to those struggling to fit in with all things American?  But now, wouldn't that be silly.

No, no, here's a good one --

How about we wonder about the sensibilities of the two people responsible for raising them into the "struggling", anti-American, radicalized crazy kids that they ultimately become?  Now, talk about depressing, frightening even.

Aw now, this is even better --

How about this headline out of the UK @ daily mail, online:  "Revealed: Dead Boston bomber's body has NOT been claimed - days after he was killed in shootout with cops"  (and don't forget, subsequently run over by his brother).  Now that's depressing, no?

This is starting to hurt.

It's killing me softly, actually...and what a way to ruin one of my favorite songs.

So maybe it's just me, but are these guys the first "educated" -- and from a "good family"   -- kind of boys to be guilty of such a heinous crime?   Or is evil simply indiscriminate?

But let's delve deeper anyway -- what is with this "struggling to fit in" bit?  Are you serious?  Haven't we all had to survive middle school?  High School?  Peer pressure?  Living in the sexed up, turbo-charged delinquency of the culture and society we have created and call home? 

Struggling to fit in....that's a good one.  Have you met the Jones' next door?  

Who -- in this day and age -- does not struggle every freaking day in some way or another?  Depressing IS whoever tries to keep up with the Jones'; depressing IS the clear and present danger of living the modern day life without a spiritual force; depressing IS how we have our kids raised by pharmaceutical nannies; depressing IS the disconnect between life in America and finding your own way to happiness in your own way, without being a burden on society, and without taking your frustrations out upon your neighbor.

How dare the mainstream media begin painting this picture of the family Tsarnaev as if it's America's fault.  How dare you.

That premise is not only depressing, it's a violation against our intelligence, as well as, an attack against our nation's foundation -- to live in freedom and liberty for all, IS to live independently, for better or worse.

The media is pathetic.

While the truth is, this administration is at fault from every angle.  

What is depressing is really very, very frightening.

And I, for one, am sick of it.

How is it that places like www.wnd.com  and www.drudge.com  and www.theblaze.com and various other outlets here and abroad fill in the depressing blanks for us, while our mainstream news outlets edit for politically correct praises, as they struggle for acceptance and invitations and benefits from this administration?

Real information that can save us, protect us, INFORM us IS out there; check out WND just today and then go to other super scary stuff on The Blaze...


This isn't news to those of us who run unafraid, counter to the mainstream mentality; the stunning details of what radical Islamic believers want to do to us IS streamed live every single day. If you really want to find the truth, you can.  

What is depressing IS how this administration turns a blind eye.

What is depressing IS how this administration lies to us about the real threat.

What is depressing IS how this administration is getting away with it.

What is depressing IS how this administration is missing a leader who understands the danger America is in right now, today --  digesting all the intelligence made available, respond accordingly and pro-actively, and communicate responsibly and honestly with the American people.  Where is that administration?

Or just maybe we, the people, will be forced to question this administration's allegiances, it's mission, whatever it IS that it stands for; for that response would be perfectly reasonable, no?...if A equals B and B equals C than A equals holy crapuccino pass the Cymbalta.   

We, the people, are NOT crazy to wonder.  
How do we get from ...being from a good family, to struggling to fit in, to being questioned, to being from a wealthy Saudi family, to being on a terrorist watch list,  to having this person go to the streets of Boston and blow it up?   [And what was that, pray tell?  oh that was just the quintessential compilation of a terrorist brought to you by the letter G] 

Oh but the poor kid...And what about Abdul?

It's a Shame on Homeland Security Kind of Day Thing

Dear America,

so Boston,

it's an indictment upon the entire Department of "Homeland Security."  [Oh, and by the way, that is a good one.... "see something, say something".......make a quick link here to someone who happens to have a little something, something to say about that.  And, as always, that Malkin girl is spot on.  How much do we love her...]

The older one -- Tamarlan Tsarnaev -- was interviewed two years ago, at the request (presumably) of Russia...Chechnya's BFF...yeah right....but apparently, the FBI did not find enough "extremist ties" to do anything about anything.

But seriously, if the FBI, or Homeland Security, were 'onto them' -- don't you think that trip to Russia by the elder, Tamarlan, might have been a red flag?  Or, is it really red, white and green?  What does it even matter, when in fact the elder was gone for like six months and returned indoctrinated through and through and never to be the same again? Isn't there some kind of a no-fly list that they -- one, or both -- could have been on, considering the sit down and all?  [Perhaps we should come up with a new 'no drive-by' kind of list anytime we have large gatherings -- thinking sporting events, baseball, football, hockey...marathons]

Either this mother is deeply entrenched in denial, or we should be equally concerned with letting her back into the country.   And that goes double with the father.  [But now the Uncle -- the one who saw the light -- now that guy can stay... Mr. They "do not deserve to live on earth." Amen to that.]

But honestly, if these boys were truly being monitored, questioned, or had cause for concern within the ranks of the department of homeland security, the FBI, or anywhere else under the Dot Gov umbrella, don't you think we have a problem?  Thinking leaks, cracks, and downright chasms far and wide.

Don't you think someone within one of these departments would have checked in on these guys from time to time, if only to follow their radicalization happening right under our noses -- you know, for education purposes, research.

How could they fall through the cracks?  How could they have been allowed to be within a hundred feet of any public event without having a shake down?  How could they have been allowed to stand just two feet behind little Martin and have any right to being directly responsible for ending his life?

Just what are these guys made of?

Stunning is the news that it was the younger brother, Dzhokhar, who took out Tamarlan -- having run him over while behind the wheel of the stolen SUV;  it was after the shoot out, after the MIT policeman had been killed, when Tamarlan was being handcuffed in the middle of the road, when his brother just drove right over him.  [And to think, his father thought we did it...how's that for a cruel twist of fate?]


But speaking of which, the most twisted piece of news heard in the last twenty-four hours may just be finding out when Dzhokhar took the oath of citizenship:   September 11, 2012.   Some people refer to it as  some kind of great irony; but this girl balks at that big time, for this is a prime example of how they work.

To infiltrate is to operate from the inside; it's all about gaining trust through and through; it looks much like being "normal" -- blending in...it's talking baseball, apple pie, Chevrolet, and mom. They become like us, so we like them,  so they can kill us when unexpected.   Nothing to see here, move along.

This is how it works -- you know, America -- and they know it, study it, and use it to their every advantage.

This is how Dzhokhar could stand behind that baby-faced Martin and not look out of place.

Just imagine it when we get more than one city hit at the same time....multiple locations, reminiscent of 9/11.   Imagine when we all have to deal with no cell phones, and can't leave our homes, can't go to our jobs, and basically live a normal life, for a day or maybe a week, or longer...Just imagine that.

WE are the infidels, remember?

Is it a concern that Dzhokhar was not read his Miranda rights?  You bet it is.   He was, after all, an actualized citizen of these United States.    That should be a concern for all of us, in equal portion.  This country is supposed to revolve around the Rule of Law each and every time.  Sure, the lines are smudged here -- just a wee bit; but hello?  We cannot have or have not the law at the same time.  No doubt officials will be wrestling with this issue for some time to come.

But speaking of the law; let's go hardcore on immigration now, shall we?   Nobody gets a pass- as in the current laboring of legislation surrounding the 11 million illegal aliens wanting something for nothing from us, all while coming through the back door. 

And just maybe, nobody should be allowed in ever again if they happen to originate from the likes of Chechnya, or Dagestan, or Ingushtia, aw hell, might as well just make it all of Russia -- and if we do that, we might as well lump in Yemen, Syria, Gaza, Egypt, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Libya, aw you get my drift....

...unless perhaps you are a girl, then maybe we might consider the humanitarian element of supplying a safe refuge.  [But full family background will be required]

Thing is -- considering the amount of suspect and bona fide information out on these guys now -- little old G isn't feeling very secure.  Just how could they have been allowed to walk freely among us?

Who else has the FBI,  or Homeland Security folk, had a sit down with, in what seems to be some kind of glorified, time-warped, catch and release program?  Did the environmentalists get to you, too?  Or perhaps we must be forced to chalk this glaring oversight up to the likes of indoctrination via the tools of social media , peer pressure, and the new America being clearly overrun by the burgeoning and overzealous politically correct fools.

But if anyone should have their head examined, let's add Janet to that list.   Besides the Constitutional duties of the president being clearly outlined, and likewise equally responsible -- Janet's only job is to secure the homeland.  Boston was not secure by any stretch of the imagination; it was a crime scene waiting to happen. 

Buh bye, Janet; don't let the back door hit you on the way out.

How could either one of these boys have survived, virtually scot-free, in America long enough to mastermind such devastation, to infiltrate and perpetrate such a heinous crime against the people of Boston, especially  at an event synonymous with everything good, patriotic, and all-American.

My gratitude to the Boston Police Department cannot be expressed in words; how I wish I was alongside the people lining the streets of Watertown, standing in ovation when it all came to a dramatic end.  

And along those lines, my awe-spring is bursting for that Jeff Bauman Jr.  -- the one who awoke from the blast having lost both his legs but still gave a full description of one of the suspects -- and forever being directly linked to his ultimate capture.  Time was of the essence; they almost got away with it.   You are a real, live hero.  I wish I could shake your hand, hug you, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.  May America repay you with due diligence within, and surrounding, and encompassing the full security of our Homeland in every possible way from here to eternity. 

Perhaps we should begin by finding a replacement of the current Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security -- as authorized under the latest version Homeland Security 2.0,  Section 2013, under the rules of the nationalized catch-and-release program of the upper echelon.

It's Time for a Re-Write to Make Things Right

Dear America,

so you know, Joe Biden is still just a heartbeat away from being our president.

now if that doesn't freak anybody else out, then by golly, I am blogging in Florida.

What is with this guy?  He can't even remember where he is...again.

But keeping things real here in G land, this is just my lede into admitting my own horrific error --

you know that sinking feeling when you realize you got a name totally botched?  yeah, well it kicks up a notch or two when you actually have it in writing.   Me, Myself, And I, did just that. Two days ago, and I don't even know how it happened...

...and just when I thought things were really beginning to hum along, too.


So -- my apologies to the father of Tyrone Woods, Charles, and to the rest of my twelve readers on the day.  [I feel like joe, what just happened?   Somehow or other the name became Brown,  instead of Woods, and I am simply beside myself with embarrassment over it...I consider it a huge mistake and it lingered out there for nearly 48 hours until my inner workings of my mind pushed me to follow up on my sense that something was left not quite right...]

You know what it feels like?  It feels like I had spinach stuck between my teeth for two days and I'm just rolling along, smiling, waving hi to everybody...when all this time...I mean, couldn't just one of you of said something, like yo to the stupid girl, you totally screwed up here...

But  allow me steal a phrase from the president ---

let me be clear --

I hate being wrong about anything; I live to get things right in this little day in the life in America, every day....I mean, my goodness, my humongous reputation is at stake, right?   One day, millions of people might read me.    Oh, you doubt?  Yeah, good one, but not talking about the millions...referring to my love to be right.   Just ask my mama how much I love being right....but expect an ear full...yeah, she'll lay it out, alright, and over a few days if you let her... oh, you get it now.

So here's an opinion to start our weekend off on the right foot:

I think Obama's going down.

I think the polls are off; I think Romney will not only win, but he will win with an overwhelming mandate for change.    The RIGHT, just in case anyone hasn't noticed,  is freaking excited!  This is it, folks, we are down to spending the entire weekend and into Monday night, eating pizza and watching football -- and then we vote!   We can do this!  We can do this!

Aw but doncha love how Obama is out there, yesterday in Vegas, and all the press can talk about is how the guy has all of a sudden stopped sounding juvenile, petty, and small-minded about his opponent.   Yeah, according to the great pool of unbiased journalists that follow him around like a puppy dog, the president is  looking presidential, sounding presidential, oozing presidential -- and reacting to this as if they haven't seen it in years.  Oh, you doubt?  Then read this e pluribus unum example:  Obama hits final stretch with message of gravitas...

Shouldn't we expect our president to be presidential round the clock, 24/7, and dare I say, for a full term?

maybe it's just me...

So Obama is spinning the measly 171,000 jobs as a sign  --  that we are heading in the right direction.  True, if that direction looks like this:

And ROMNEY -- once the businessman, always the businessman, he's lamenting the deep dark truth of the matter and stands firm knowing better.  Obama sees hope; ROMNEY sees standstill.   For more news you can use, let's go to Detroit:

"Today's increase in the unemployment rate is a sad reminder that the economy is at a virtual standstill," Romney said. "When I'm president, I'm going to make real changes that lead to a real recovery, so that the next four years are better than the last."

The reality is,  for every one of the  171,000 new jobs, the number of unemployed rose up 170,000, to 12.3 million.  [um, Mr. "I'm not good at math President"  -- isn't that like gaining like a net 1,000 jobs?]   If Obama were able to have retained the same workforce from the day he took office, the real unemployment number would actually be 10.6% .  Oh, you doubt?  Read this from Human Events, the Malaise update for some classic    good     conservative     fun with B'rack and Pain.

Hayward had me right up to the swallowing of the bitter pill end when he ended with this:

"Incredibly, the Labor Secretary actually celebrated this dismal jobs report by handing out candy to reporters.  No word on where she was able to find malaise-flavored candy.  This afternoon, she should lead a parade of reporters to whistle past a local graveyard."

So now let's go to the mad update on Sandy --

What a freaking mess.

No matter how you choose to look at all the itty bitty details emerging, no matter which aggregated "time line" you are locked on target to believe, no matter how many times you heard the word "video"  -- the reality is -- we have in our highest office a president who CHOSE to mislead us, lie to us, spread false intelligence for no reason OTHER THAN to save himself and his administration.    All the way through his speech at the United Nations, which was September 25th, by the way, he allowed a lie to fester in what was already an open, pulsing, unimaginable sized wound.

We've covered it.
We've uncovered it.
And we've covered it again, here in G land.

[um Mr. President, as a mom, take it from me, me thinks a Band-Aid won't cut it...just sayin' ...and maybe it's just me]

It was a terrorist attack from the get-go; help was only two hours away; four Americans died.  And a river of lies runs through it -- every highlight, every low-light, points to total disregard for the truth.  Oh, you doubt?  Here's a decent update from the National Review.

And get this -- there are people who are able to point to the Benghazi attack as even being, in part, an inside job.  No, say it isn't so.   Oh, you doubt?  Go here.  Or this.  Or this.

Let's see, where are we now?  Oh right,  IF Obama actually gets re-elected, his presidency will fall right into impeachment proceedings.

DO you want to move forward with more on that?   

Or do you want to make money, get a job, feed your children, keep the lights on, and maybe, just maybe, buy a new pair of shoes?

No doubt, America's next few days will continue to be a real nail biter when it comes to the election as we inch closer to Tuesday.

And yet, for areas hit hard by Hurricane Sandy -- like for Jodi on Staten Island -- I can only just imagine it....Whether talking about the NY marathon, or the election, or Benghazi, or even the new unemployment numbers unveiled just this morning, @8:30 EDT as expected and just like clockwork -- none of it matters.

Hot chocolate and cookies not only doesn't cut it, it's an insult.  I can only hope she didn't hear Bloomberg call upon the runners to donate a dollar per mile to go to a special fund for the victims.  That news just might kill her.

Let's pull together, America; we are five days away from a fundamental transformation re-write. We are lucky enough to get a do-over every four years, so let's not blow it...again.

It's Numbers and Negotiations, Secret Tapes and Secret Deals Thing

47% tie.

thank you mother jones.... now moveon.org  for here is the transcript of the 47% night -- at least, as much as the "secret tape recorder" would allow.

oh G,  now isn't this really old, old news?

sure -- but given the Left still gets plenty of mileage on it, I figured it wouldn't hurt to go back to the night in question....especially since, alas, we are at a plum tie, at what?  yeah, that's right, forty-fricken-seven-percent per an NBC poll, sent out to the world on a sleepy Sunday morning.

Is it just me, or is Mitt right smack dab on the money?

The prelude to the 47% answer?  A question from the audience that went something like this:

Audience member: For the last three years, all everybody's been told is, "Don't worry, we'll take care of you." How are you going to do it, in two months before the elections, to convince everybody you've got to take care of yourself?

Notice the frustration in the question itself.
If you really think about it, the question is probably on the minds of many; someone, somewhere, nearly any hour of the day wonders how did we get here and more importantly, how do we get out of this mess .  How do we return to self-reliance, something considered to be a cornerstone of this nation?

It's called bare honesty, desperation really, begging the question -- just how do you, Mitt, plan on convincing those people in this country who have grown dependent on government help through entitlements, to find a way to take care of themselves?  

And the private audience got honesty right back. 

Romney: There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. [He could have stopped right there]  All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. And I mean, the president starts off with 48, 49, 48—he starts off with a huge number. These are people who pay no income tax. Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax. So our message of low taxes doesn't connect. And he'll be out there talking about tax cuts for the rich. I mean that's what they sell every four years. And so my job is not to worry about those people—I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives. What I have to do is convince the 5 to 10 percent in the center that are independents that are thoughtful, that look at voting one way or the other depending upon in some cases emotion, whether they like the guy or not, what it looks like. I mean, when you ask those people…we do all these polls—I find it amazing—we poll all these people, see where you stand on the polls, but 45 percent of the people will go with a Republican, and 48 or 4…

You know, now that we have all had a chance to see and hear and watch the real Mitt in the debates for awhile, it is fascinating reading the transcript on 'the night of the 47%.'  The real Mitt shines through!  You can actually feel his words as if you are there with him..  And if you actually take the time to read his remarks from that entire night -- for starters, you would find him almost as funny as the night of the Al Smith dinner...not kidding.  Here's a second chance to link to the source.

But thanks to mother jones, the night gives us a mother-lode of a measured, magnificent Mitt -- all night long. 

In any event -- the two are tied at what?  47%.   Guess how many are not budging, now that we are only two weeks out from the election?  yup.  Four and seven.  put 'em together and you get 47%

Here's another angle:  The Left has clearly asked the Right to believe that the president referred to the Benghazi attack as an "act of terror" in the Rose Garden speech as being equivalent to "terrorism."  [which is bull, but whatever]  SO blanketed statements all being the same, Mitt was referring to those people who are dependent on ENTITLEMENTS, aka "obama money," and nothing more.  Mitt wasn't talking about our veterans pensions, or to our Social Security recipients, or even to Medicare beneficiaries.  He was talking about those stuck on WELFARE programs -- the programs we spend 1.028 Trillion dollars a year on.  SEE HERE.  Not even this tally of 1.028 trillion dollars includes the veterans pensions, social security, or Medicare...making the context here all the more consistent.

"FORWARD" -- yeah, right; that slogan might as well be written on parchment.

Secret Video moves to Secret Deal; just waiting for the day after the election.  [cue the evil laugh here]

Hmmmmm which one happens to be a more serious grievance than the other -- the 47% voter-share reality or secret negotiations with people who don't Like us? . hmmmm....go on...

Well let's first mention, the inaugural deal, the one between the U.S. and Russia...Going back to March, it went something like this:

President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.
President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…
President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.
President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir   [creepy]


[oh wait.  Read it again, only this time conforming to the audience much like our president does on the campaign trail; give yourself an accent like a Boris or a Natasha...it just makes it more fun and we need a little levity]

But  the real question remains -- was it really the "inaugural" secret deal --  or is there more?

Come to think of it, wow, I wonder what happened behind closed doors -- in secret -- when the president was doing his apology tour during his first year in office?  We now know the speech in Cairo was before the members of the Muslim Brotherhood.  And then...all of a sudden  we were pushing  Mubarak out and letting the brotherhood in......hmmm  And then we were pushing Gaddhafi out -- by way of Kinetic Military Action and leaving the region vulnerable....hmmm....and the next thing we know, we are ignoring Libya altogether.

And on that note, let's move on to a more current Secret Deal -- with Iran, of all places.

Let's get around to a few things said out-loud and  NOT in secret --

There's always Joe -- speaking to an audience of the "49% Black in Danville, VA", "they're gonna put y'all back in chains..."  I have no idea how he can get away with saying something like this; just imagine it -- this is coming from our vice president!

And more recently, courtesy of ABC News, an exchange with a member of the audience went like this:

They have guns but no bullets,” a member of the crowd shouted.
“Unfortunately, the bullets are aimed at you,” Biden replied, pointing at the man who had spoken and prompting laughter from the audience.
The vice president added that Republicans were dividing the country by talking about “a culture of dependency.” [or is it the Democrats dividing the country by vilifying "the culture of the1%, 2%, top 10% -- the job creators who pay for 70% of everything ?]

And, lest we forget to mention, during the same speech Joe confuses the war in Afghanistan with a war -- happening now? -- in Iran! [can this guy even handle another four more years?] [making it even funnier -- Harry Reid was nodding in the affirmative right behind him...hilarious stuff]

One more simply amazing thing said aloud, sort of -- this time by tweet, or is this really a "re-tweet" repeat:....

"I have no idea why any woman/minority 

would vote for Romney. 

You have to be stupid to vote 

for such a racist/misogynistic twat."

Who's the twit you ask?

The Obama Campaign's Co-Chair, Eva Longoria!  That is some kind of class, isn't it?  I was forced to color it pink just to make it go down a wee bit easier...but honestly, is this message really approved by Barack Obama?

Well now, to recap: the NBC poll has Obama/Romney virtually at a tie.   At what?  that's right...@47%.

And what that means is-- about half of those polled, actually 47%,  are locked into Obama and will not move, much like Romney predicted.  These people could be characterized as those people dependent on getting free stuff from the government (make that from other people, aka TAXPAYERS).  Remember now -- the government produces nothing but bureaucracy; they only know how to spend other people's money, and if they don't have enough, they simply make more of it  [which is also a tax! -- aka INFLATION].

Increased debt ceiling, here we come.

There is another 47%; and I, for one, have no problem calling myself part of the 47 for Romney; no great secret there, is there....But guess what?  There is another poll that gives Romney 51% and Obama 45%.-- per Gallup... 

...perhaps confirming movement unexpected.

BUT if we are truly all Americans still, living  in these great big beautiful United States, I, for two, would be way more alarmed these days by things seen and unseen, said and unsaid --  sshhhhhh

• the UN is about to take away our gun rights -- some crazy shhh*&t; is going down; 
• missile defense is being used as a bargaining chip against our allies; 
• nuclear weaponry aspirations and intentions will have to wait until AFTER the election for discussion, while a letter is on it's way as we speak carving out particulars of the deal, illuminating sanctions that can be temporarily waived; 
• meanwhile, any sit-down with someone within the Muslim Brotherhood is negotiating with a terrorist organization (it's just a FACT --  it's just that nobody wants to say it out-loud); 
• or here's a good one, fresh from The Daily Caller today -- meetings with Islamic Radicals at the White House...fortunately, it's no secret when they sign the guest book...
• and Libya, just a case in point of how Al Queda is not dead, that Islamic Extremism is alive and well, and coming in all shapes, sizes and locals -- Obama's foreign policy,  leading by apologies and pandering from behind, is no way to move "FORWARD"........

Trust is so over-rated, right?  But what do I know...I'm just a girl.
