It's Let's Roll with that New American Moment Thing

Dear America,

"Were we directed from Washington [city]
when to sow, and when to reap,
we should soon want bread."
Thomas Jefferson

well, there you go.  perfect.
spring up, oh well! Hail to the people's true independence -- of self-reliance and freedom, and surely with the grit to make anything happen!  Because that kind of spirit is back in business.

but about that other well......
after watching last night's first State of the Union address from President Trump...

seems nothing's changed, that well of discontent and divide -- that which is supplied and overflowing with tired cliches and poor in spirit,  the one bubbling over with astounding disrespect for the Union, itself, if  not every foundation upon which this nation was built -- oh that well still runs deep and wide.

In the most simplest of terms, Trump made about fifty points during the entire speech (ranking third longest in history) -- and it was primarily domestic, all the way up until we hit  #40:  Dealing with Rogue Regimes.  But even that was quickly made a domestic concern, as he trumpeted the Call to Congress to END the Sequester and fully fund our military.  amen to that.

The thing is, I could take each point one by one -- but I'm banking on the fact that you heard what I heard, so why repeat it, right?

This speech was all about bringing the two wells of thought together, to tap into what is good for ALL Americans -- and to sit on your hands with some blank expression, or worse, with a frown, upon the celebration of good things happening across the country -- oh that takes amazing showmanship.

That well is not happy even if conservatives promise to give a path to citizenship of 1.8 million illegals, I mean, "dreamers!"   That well can't even crack a smile if the market is booming, bonuses are bursting in air, and taxes slashed -- for both individuals and corporations.  That well hears of a 1.5 TRILLION dollar partnership between private American businesses and government, to rebuild and maintain sorely needed infrastructure improvements, and all the while, creating lots of jobs....and all that well can do is dig deeper into its own abyss of victimization and despair.

The best line of the night, "because Americans are Dreamers, too!"

yeah, so shut up.

Every single point made centered upon one reality -- that which is true and good for America and all Americans.

This spirit is what paved the way for Trump's lead early into the primary;  it's the same spirit that carried him over in the Electoral College, taking out the pathetic, lying, democratic candidate - Hillary Rodham Clinton; and it is the same spirit that will lead us into this New American Moment, as noted in the speech, and then some.

Every personal story -- represented and seated next to the First Lady or elsewhere within the Capitol Building  -- had a purpose, woven into his address, and dealt a solid blow to anyone who thinks America has seen better days, or is on the decline.  The level of human interest, invoked by the president, of each and every one of these people was not contrived, nor was it manufactured to make a point -- for Trump made them THE POINT.    It was genuine.  Sincere.  And at every moment, this girl was brought to tears.

And even though this day will not be about taking each point by point, this girl loved the moments when Trump went grand.  Here's a portion worthy of repeat --

The United States is a compassionate nation. We are proud that we do more than any other country to help the needy, the struggling, and the underprivileged all over the world. But as President of the United States, my highest loyalty, my greatest compassion, and my constant concern is for America's children, America's struggling workers, and America's forgotten communities. I want our youth to grow up to achieve great things. I want our poor to have their chance to rise.

So tonight, I am extending an open hand to work with members of both parties -- Democrats and Republicans -- to protect our citizens of every background, color, religion, and creed. My duty, and the sacred duty of every elected official in this chamber, is to defend Americans -- to protect their safety, their families, their communities, and their right to the American Dream. Because Americans are dreamers too.
who doesn't like this?

This is who this president is, it is the LEFT and the liberal media who wishes to show you otherwise.

Just after pointing out Mr Ji Seong-ho, Trump says this, as he begins to wrap everything up --
Seong-ho's story is a testament to the yearning of every human soul to live in freedom.
It was that same yearning for freedom that nearly 250 years ago gave birth to a special place called America. It was a small cluster of colonies caught between a great ocean and a vast wilderness. But it was home to an incredible people with a revolutionary idea: that they could rule themselves. That they could chart their own destiny. And that, together, they could light up the world.
That is what our country has always been about. That is what Americans have always stood for, always strived for, and always done.
Atop the dome of this Capitol stands the Statue of Freedom. She stands tall and dignified among the monuments to our ancestors who fought and lived and died to protect her.
Monuments to Washington and Jefferson -- to Lincoln and King.
Memorials to the heroes of Yorktown and Saratoga -- to young Americans who shed their blood on the shores of Normandy, and the fields beyond. And others, who went down in the waters of the Pacific and the skies over Asia.
And freedom stands tall over one more monument: this one. This Capitol. This living monument to the American people.
A people whose heroes live not only in the past, but all around us -- defending hope, pride, and the American way.
They work in every trade. They sacrifice to raise a family. They care for our children at home. They defend our flag abroad. They are strong moms and brave kids. They are firefighters, police officers, border agents, medics, and Marines.
But above all else, they are Americans. And this Capitol, this city, and this Nation, belong to them.
Our task is to respect them, to listen to them, to serve them, to protect them, and to always be worthy of them.
The thing is:  Trump gets US, for real.

No question in my mind.

The most hilarious thing of the night -- was the democratic response, by Massachusetts Representative Joe Kennedy III.  Given Joe was given a copy of Trump's speech in advance, it was as if he ignored everything the president addressed.   Going into his own description of "who we are," he rattled off a bunch of professions and positions in society in the same way as Trump, only different.  He tagged the phrase "out of many, one" with the same conviction as yours truly in yesterday's blog....and just as the president called upon in the same spirit, of this shared heart, in his address.

I guess, Kennedy wasn't pleased with the latest Call to Congress for 1.8 million new paths to citizenship, either; nor was he gleeful over the tax cuts, the bonuses, or the growing confidence in America getting back to business.  Think little Joe got stuck in the well, somewhere in Fall River?  Might explain the added spit in the corners of his mouth.  teehee

The problem is -- after getting such a punch from the president last night -- getting an immediate downer, with the spews of demagoguery, and a woefully pathetic return to driving the divide deeper and wider between the parties, playing to the sad liberal agenda that keeps going further and further left.....it just doesn't line up, it doesn't make sense.

"They are turning American life into a zero-sum game.

Where, in order for one to win, another must lose."

seriously, Joe?
Is that what you take away from the president's State of the Union?

Actually, people, if you read the full transcript, it reads like a list literally spitting out bullet points.

It  is biting, choppy, ripping from one wrong to another, as if the democrats had no involvement to the state of the union we are in, let alone the abysmal last eight years.  In just ONE year, Trump has begun to turn the tide; consumer confidence, corporate investment in America, paychecks, all round opportunity for all Americans, is growing like a tsunami --  and no shoddy, pissy little leftist well will contain it.

So.  As the Dems sit divided still, I see a rainbow.  a real freeking rainbow.

Hail to the chief who hails the PEOPLE of the United States of AMERICA; for truly, it IS the people making America great again, and Trump is not too big or too proud or too full of himself to admit it, even if he fails to convince a single lefty.

It's About the Real Fire and Fury in our Belly Thing

Dear America,

It's the State of the Union...
According to G

AMERICA IS ON FIRE!

and this works no matter which direction you are coming from, whether left or right, America is truly on fire.

RIGHT: Business is booming, optimism is blazing, and America is neither self-contained or about to burn out.  We are so running hot, we can almost hear the sizzle...

LEFT:  It's all Fire and Fury --  Trump is raging out of control, and about to get us nuked by the rocket man of North Korea; and whether it be the snowflakes on college campus' living afraid of their own shadow, of any opinion that differs from their leftist indoctrination from the leftist professors who teach them, or whether it be the socialist dreams decades in the making and running off of the likes of politicians like Bernie or the lies of HERlary -- it all thrives under the cover of a mainstream liberal media, Hollywood heavyweights moonlighting with their intellectual, leftist, elitist, smack, and a simple, blatant, all-round, disregard of having any intention to co-exist with people outside their worldview...all in all, the commonality of the spark, the fire under their fury, is ignited by the justly seated president of the United States, President Trump, along with just about anyone who voted for him, or continues to support.

Two things are for certain this morning:  America is divided nearly right in half, and duly evident is that that last paragraph was some kind of run-on sentence.... what a scorcher.  my bad.

If you will, please read this quality piece from Hillsdale's Imprimis: Are We Free to Discuss America's Real Problems?  And many thanks for your bravery, Professor Amy L. Wax.

The truth sometimes stings, but for goodness sake, isn't it better to talk about it?  Doesn't Alcoholics Anonymous begin with the addict, that the addict must recognize that the problem exists before they can even take their first step of the mighty twelve?

It takes bravery to admit we have a problem; it takes bravery to question the system and break free from the safety of the politically correct/charged agenda; it takes bravery to sail into the unknown; it takes bravery to dump the tea and question a king and start a war that would prove revolutionary.  It all counts as part of doing the steps necessary to be responsible to the whole, generation after generation.

Characteristically, this would systematically look much like this:
"Get married before you have children and strive to stay married for their sake. Get the education you need for gainful employment, work hard, and avoid idleness. Go the extra mile for your employer or client. Be a patriot, ready to serve the country. Be neighborly, civic-minded, and charitable. Avoid coarse language in public. Be respectful of authority. Eschew substance abuse and crime."

Oh Hail to the free speech!  Hail to the free speech! for Amy is on fire; ripping through the valleys and across the plains, with a pointed and rather potent truth, wreaking havoc on the sanity of the Left...will they even survive?  teehee

I have a new little book of quotes, The Founding Fathers, Quotes, Quips and Speeches, captured by the editor, Gordon Leidner....and when I opened it up this morning, this is what was top of the page:

Suppose the colonies
do abound in men,
what does that signify?
They are raw, undisciplined, cowardly men."
-- Lord Sandwich, Britain's First Lord of the Admiralty

isn't that a hoot!  America's rag-tag band of brothers and patriots of long ago were so dismissed -- we showed them, didn't we?  And when I say we, I really mean not me....how grateful I am, how grateful I am....

....never underestimate the power of Divine Providence, and never forsake the foundations of sound self-government, self-reliance, and sheer grit, all of which brought us through the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, the World Wars....the war against terror.....and even this cultural war between left and right.  Funny how the right side always seems to win.....hmmmmmmm

The thing is, this generation's luxury of misunderstanding -- or is it more being misinformed -- of the truths of America's founding, and of our individual duty to uphold the rule of law, in order to keep the republic healthy and happy for not only the present day, but way into this nation's future, will be the death of us; if we are not wide awake -- to smell the smoke -- and band together in unison against this growing fiery fury and enemy of the state, we will lose it all.  Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, that which came upon the fire and fury of our early founders and patriots will be lost forever.

My hope is that the democrats will make fools out of themselves tomorrow -- whether wearing all black as if going to a funeral, or what have you; already a supreme court justice -- a lady who is under oath  and supposedly steady under the rule of law, to be non-political and non-biased -- is saying she will NOT attend.  Um, Ruthy, you need to recuse yourself from all decisions pretty much from here on out, k?  Hello?  What a coward; how unprofessional; how loony is this decision?  A supreme court justice unable to even sit like a lady and listen to THE PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES?  Seriously? [ Gonna have to tape Maxine's response, too...just for kicks and giggles.]

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness.
And it's weird... as The Right managed to do sit tight, out of respect for the office (aside from that Joe Wilson moment...oops) all the while Obama was president for each of his 'eight States'... has the snowflake virus hit every leftist from sea to shining sea, even those who are presumed to have had a decent education?

[hope you clicked on Joe, cuz there are some astounding things coming out of Obama's mouth during that moment when Joe screamed, you lie!  Astounding moments -- from illegal immigration to abortion...liar liar oval office pants on fire]

My hope, too, is that Trump stays on point, sticks to his speech, and stays measured, as he goes about the business of unifying the country, not dividing us.  WE ARE, in fact and according to every truth, all about the  e pluribus unum here, in America....The Left has no business telling you otherwise, let alone tearing it all asunder.

Truth is -- having a fire in our belly is good for every one, every business, upon every corner, of every neighborhood, for every child, in every home, when it is part of every effort in the protection and security and welfare of the common good; having a certain fire and fury aimed to divide us, destroy us, and leave us for dead, that is not so good.

SO to close, let me call upon a few words from Thomas Jefferson --

"We are all Republicans,
we are all Federalists.
If there be any among us who would wish
 to dissolve this Union
or to change its republican form,
let them stand undisturbed as monuments
to the safety with which error of opinion
 may be tolerated
where reason
is left free to combat it."

beautiful
just beautiful

can we talk about it?
penny for your thoughts?

After all, "the ultimate arbiter is the people of the Union." (again, Thomas Jefferson)  And by definition, this term, in the macro, characterizes a colorful, multifaceted, whole; there may be times when we do not all agree, times it may look a lot like a conflict of opinion.  Are we seriously raising a society unable to deal with this?

wow.  we do have problems.

Until tomorrow, hail to the chief facing this divided country.
May God be with you, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.

Make it a Good Day, G

It's About Revealing a Eutopia of a Higher Realm Thing

Dear America,

"Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited!  Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love, and reverence towards Almighty God...What a Eutopia, what a Paradise would this region be."
-- John Adams
i love the simplicity of this

i can even imagine it

of course, in observance of Adams' overarching message, it's society's steady keeping to these very ideals -- in dutiful yet grateful obedience from one to another  -- that gives us humans such a challenge.

Human nature and free will  --  both God divined -- makes it so.

There is a dark side in all of us.  And when one dark side communes with another dark side, it is entirely conceivable for entire secret society's --  that which revels in nefarious motives and destructive forces -- to manifest, and even grow unrestrained, under the cover of darkness.

It seems America, large and small, is being inundated with acts of lawlessness; evidence of corruption seen all the way up to the Department of Justice, and even the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

And it seems to be galvanized with the same, flagrant, commonality:  hatred for Trump

Funny, considering The Left's favorite campaign message,  "Love Trumps Hate;" it complies to all, except the for the crowd that just hates Trump (and the conservatives who voted for him).

Is it hatred to ask that America protect it's borders, as well as enforce the immigration law already on the books?  Is it?

Is it hatred to ask of American companies, and Americans, to put America first, to prioritize what is best for the citizens of this country before the needs of any other nation, or people?  Is it?

Is it hatred to seek ways to protect and secure the safe-keeping of America and Americans, by making sure all immigrants, all visitors, have America's best interests at heart?  Is it?

Is it hatred to designate Jerusalem the capital of Israel -- with precedence distinguished by every president since 1995?  Is it?

Is it hatred to stand up for the unborn?  Seriously, is that hatred?

The thing is, America -- individually and collectively -- is continuously at a time for choosing, generation after generation, ever since 1776.

Truth is, like him or not, Trump is irrelevant in some respects.

We, as citizens, are always at liberty to decide who we are and what we stand for, for better or worse, secret societies and all; returning to the words of John Adams, law and order and good conduct and justice, leading us in peace and love, is perhaps only one good law book away.

Individually, it is our duty, by design, to pay attention to what and how we contribute to the whole, for the benefit of the whole.

This is precisely what will show us the way, revealing a Eutopia of a higher realm; and as individuals we must choose.

It's What a girl Wants for ALL AMERICANS Thing

Dear America,

hail to the chief and his ability to ridicule the democrats right back

....this is just what it will take, folks.

From that last link, above, from a post @ The Hill:

"Never before in American history has a major political party put the interests of lawbreaking foreign nationals ahead of the interests of law abiding Americans. Yet that is exactly what the Democrats have done in holding the government hostage to extract special favors for illegal immigrants."

exactly

and when you put this perspective alongside the position of Chuck Schumer only a few years back...

“[Former House] Speaker [John] Boehner comes in and he says, basically, it’s sorta like this. Someone goes into your house, takes your wife and children hostage, and then says ‘Let’s negotiate over the price of your house.’ You know, we could do the same thing on immigration. We believe strongly in immigration reform. We could say, ‘We’re shutting down the government, we’re not gonna raise the debt ceiling, until you pass immigration reform.’ It would be governmental chaos.”

and from Nancy Pelosi, same time, same batty channel:

“I join the American people in their disgust in what happened in terms of the shutdown of government. That’s an unthinkable tactic to use in a political debate.”

[thank you, Washington Examiner for this closer examination.]

But let's be clear --  Republicans, in 2013, had ALL AMERICAN citizens best interests at heart.  Obamacare, at only three years young,  was already unraveling, proving to be a strain on Americans; the republicans were prepared to stand up for ALL Americans  -- even if it meant holding the government hostage for sixteen days -- in an effort to repair Obamacare's damage against one-sixth of the nation's economy, the nation's healthcare system.  Of course, it was a big fail.

Just as the Schumer Shutdown has proven to be a big fail, just moments ago.

More from the Tommy Hicks Jr. post, as opinion contributor at The Hill:

"They call Americans 'deplorables' and illegal immigrants 'Dreamers.' That tells you everything you need to know about the Democrats’ upside-down world view."

exactly

This says everything; if the republicans don't steal this point and drive it home, at every opportunity to speak from here on out, they will be missing a point of light, as they begin to negotiate a new immigration bill to protect DACA "kids."

What America needs to do is build a better wall -- literally and figuratively.

What America needs to do is simply follow the existing IMMIGRATION law and policy.

What America needs to do is protect AMERICA'S best interests and AMERICANS, neither being deplorable, first and foremost.

America does have a heart....it explains why so many people wish to come to America in the first place.

So what is this all about?
----  Genevieve Woods, The Heritage Foundation, has the answer:

That’s why Democrats are willing to shut down government. The reality is they don’t really want a deal on immigration. They talk about addressing the needs of the DACA population, but they have no time to address the other side of the immigration issue, border security and enforcement.
Here’s the deal. Democrats are fearful that President [Donald] Trump and Republicans could go into the midterm elections with both victories on tax cuts and immigration reform. So at the end of the day, that’s what all of this is about. It’s an election year, and that means politics, not people, are their priority.

Democrats want the votes and a steady stream of democrats flowing into America, unchecked and UNassimilated,  not a problem, undoubtedly.

And more from Genevieve, as to "Why Amnesty Should Not be a Part of Any Deal..." is posted HERE.

One last thing to read, from The Patriot Post's Thomas Gallatin, time to shut Schumer down....

indeed

Happy Anniversary; this girl is pretty sure Trump is here to stay for another three years, folks (primarily targeting dem folks, the leftists and the never Trumpers).  This win characterizes the results of a  President Trump on offense; for another good example, see Tom Brady and the Patriots.  tee hee (what a game, that was, what a game)

Anywho, deal with it.  And more than that, try to ENJOY it, you freaking idiots!

America is booming with tax reforms (for all except maybe California corporations...thank you "Victory Girls" blog); America is becoming less regulated; America is standing up for a sanctity for life;  America is slowly returning healthcare to the free market; America is improving the lives of Americans..... hello?!

Isn't this what ALL Americans really want?

It's what I want; it's what I want for ALL AMERICANS.

The thing is -- this is a good day for America.

It's All About who the Real Enemy of the State IS Thing

Dear America,

"Too much agreement kills a chat."
 Eldridge Cleaver

if you could invite anyone over for dinner, dead or alive, how would you fill a table of twelve?

My list continues to be tweaked --  but this guy, Cleaver -- oh he is now sitting just to my right.

It's an American story -- of a major flip flop, of nearly unimaginable proportions!  If the story was told on Fox News, and Fox News only,  more than likely, half of the viewership -- the liberals --  would believe the report to be untrue.  Correction -- the masses leaning to the left would never even hear about it, for they would never see it, being a bunch of never Trumper's let alone Fox News viewers; and falling victim to the mainstream media's general practice of selective truth-telling, the story would never be told on CNN, or ABC, or CBS, or (MS)NBC, simply because this narrative from commie to conservative doesn't fall in line with the leftist movement, mindset, or agenda.

Eldridge Cleaver went from being an imprisoned and violent Black Panther, a lover of communism,  an unconscionable, unrepentant rapist, to a man reborn in every possible way; from growing a personal faith a relationship with God through Christianity, from being a fully repentant and restored ex-con, from breaking all ties to his sordid past and becoming a conservative republican before he died, to his credit and tenacity, Cleaver flipped upon everything he was and became a brand new man. And a better man, at that.

What a fascinating conversation heaven must be having right about now, perhaps over plates of food served family style.

Which makes me wonder, what in the world is Jeff Flake thinking?  Is he that desperate for people to approve of him, like him,  as he seemingly leads with the hope that people come to believe he must be the smartest congressman in the room?  Comparing Trump to Stalin?  Seriously?

A free press can only be the guardian of democracy when it actually tells the truth, the whole truth, Jeff Flake, emphasis on flake.

The press is an "enemy of the people" when the press holds a tyrannical hold on what is true and what is not, or what is told and what is not, be it from facts (like a doctor's report) to pure fiction (can you say dossier?); you would have to be deaf dumb and blind not to see the overwhelming bias of the mainstream media, leading with a certain narrative no matter the mainstream news channel you choose -- any sign of objectivity, supported by facts, are trumped with utter nonsense. every minute of every day.

But it is good that you said what you said, Jeff; for it tells me that you are doing the right thing with your decision not to run for re-election in Arizona.  This must have been your idea of performing the proverbial swan song....(while the irony runs wide and deep if you understand the falsehoods of the phrase itself....too funny).

In the macro, it's kinda sad that people are so threatened with just the idea of holding different opinions, to be in agreement with disagreeing; but in the micro, how can Jeff Flake not see it?  The mainstream media IS tweaking the truth; it IS withholding facts to protect the Left; it IS portraying this administration as being led with a president on the edge of sanity, a dimwit, a racist...all of which are untrue...How can Jeff not see it?  To have this kind of cray cray come from someone from the right, just makes all this so hard to swallow.

Now, Barack Obama, I can understand --

"If you watch Fox News,
you are living on a different planet
than you are if you are listening to NPR.”

wow.
But in reality -- Obama's feelings about Fox News and conservative outlets were not a secret.  Every chance he got, Obama would chide the conservative media, especially hitting the so-called "untruths" of Fox, including, and continually, knocking it's ignorant viewership.

It IS a good thing that "too much agreement kills a chat," right? (I just LOVE this line from Cleaver so much.)

Unlike the Libs, or flake-y so-called conservatives, I dig this kind of disagreement.  I love the art of a damn good discussion, in every civilized and uncivilized way.

And really, weaving the knocks against media together in equal portion whether  Left or Right -- how is it not evident (to Jeff and anyone else)  just how both presidents, past and present, seem to cling to their own definition of  "fake news."  For Obama -- fake news is, and always will be, that which comes via Fox News, and any other conservative website, for that matter.  For Trump -- fake news is the mainstream media.

And this is what makes this soooooo wrong.  For the mainstream is supposed to just say the news -- bias, narratives, re-story telling, critiquing, judging, taking sides, is simply not cool.  Democracy dies in darkness AND under the glaring light of bias.

The thing is:  Trump is at war with the Left leaning liberal media; but not to worry -- he saw it coming.  And more important, he is not afraid.  (Hence, one of the main differences between Trump and all sixteen of his republican challengers in the 2016 election.)

Jeff not only needs to grow a pair, he needs to wake up to the obvious, so predictable, rather innocuous ridicule that knocks and rocks media outlets both ways.  And then Jeff just needs to go away.

It's pretty harmless, these jabs, either left or right, against all or part of the media; but to put Trump in the same group as a Stalin for it?  Then honestly, Flake, you must then do the same with Obama.

How unfair, sophomoric really, that a republican like Jeff Flake -- a guy who clearly doesn't like Trump, let alone respect the voters who put Trump in office --  does not see fit to give Trump a fair shake (it's gotta be personal by now, just sayin).

There is a long list where the MEDIA gets it wrong:

Trump does not have dementia.
Trump did not collude with the Russians to win the election.
Trump did not sell Uranium to the Russians, using a private foundation for cover, along with a little help from the state department.
Trump did not orchestrate a downright lying piece of propaganda from Fusion GPS, and use it to gain unlawful warrants, etc  etc
Trump did not store confidential government documents using an unprotected, non-government private server....
Trump didn't cover up a terror attack at Benghazi, blaming it on a video...and go off to a fund raiser the very next day (not even being in the room when the sh** was going down...! Obama had to get his sleep.)
shall I go on?  Because I can.
We haven't even mentioned the roaring economy, all thanks to Trump, a new tax code, and within his first year.  bada bing bada boom.
.................
Oh, but Trump might need to lose 10 to 15 pounds, there is that; but other than that, Trump is physically and mentally all there, what a shame for the left leaning mainstream media, who wish the guy would just have a heart attack already and die.  Truth be told, Trump has been living a pretty  healthy life (having not touched alcohol or cigarettes or street drugs his entire life) and is in peek health for his age.  His doctor thinks a fair share of good genes has contributed...

Will this report put the nonsense to bed?  Will this finally end the non-stop disparaging remarks towards the president's mental health and ability to control red buttons and crazy communist leaders large and small? Nope.

It won't change a thing.
As the left leaning mainstream media has decidedly colluded.

Trump is correct.  The mainstream media IS an enemy of the state, and all the while, only the educated voter is aware --- all the rest of the public is simply jumping on board and drinking kool-aid.

WINNERS OF FAKE NEWS AWARDS, see here.

So to conclude the news on the day -- Flake is an idiot.  A self-promoting, RINO-whining, s$%&storm shooting, fraud who has merely fallen victim to his never-Trumper, mainstream media ass-kissing, f@&^ his  constituents, heart of hearts.  He has no understanding of the games Trump plays.

It's been twenty years since Eldridge Cleaver walked the earth; but surely he would have made a better congressman than Flake any day of the week.

And on that note, this day is done.

It's a Day for MLK; May Heaven and Earth Unite Thing

Dear America,

"10.  If necessary,
God will move heaven and earth
to show us His will."
Life Principles to Live By,
Rev. Charles F. Stanley

mighty forces are alive and well on the earth

there seems to be a constant ebb and flow of good and evil, right and wrong, no matter the personal political perspective -- you know, whether of the left, right, or center.

History proves that common ground, in America, as well as in many other parts of the world, IS,  and always will be, being a people of faith.

When Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was here on earth, he recognized a certain brokenness within society, and went to the Highest and Fiercest Resource available in order to mend -- Almighty God. From speaking faith over communities, to reciting a countless number of Bible verse, Dr. King used everything in his power --  and the Lord's --  to invoke peace, create change, and make all things new.

I believe, from all that I have heard and read about this fine man, he wanted America to come together -- and for each of us, through every generation to come, to live in a spirit of brotherly love and acceptance of one another.  I believe he also expected all people -- no matter the shade --  to do their duty, to God and to country, to community and to family.

I'm not so sure that we, as a people, have done just that.  It's not a judgement; it is simply an observation.

this girl just loves BrainyQuote -- here, in his own words, is MLK:

"The function of education
is to teach one to think
 intensively and to think critically.
Intelligence plus character -
that is the goal of true education."

"I have a dream
that my four little children
will one day live in a nation
where they will not be judged
by the color of their skin,
but by the content of their character."

"We must learn to live together
as brothers or perish together as fools."

"We must develop
and maintain the capacity
to forgive.
He who is devoid of the power
to forgive is devoid
of the power to love.
There is some good
in the worst of us
and some evil in the best of us.
When we discover this,
we are less prone to hate our enemies."

I believe, if Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were alive today, he would not only be influential and outspoken about the Black Lives Matter protesters, the NFL's national anthem protesters ---  he would be a weekly visitor at the White House; I believe President Trump and the Reverend would not only combine forces, heaven and earth would move in mysterious and miraculous ways, all in an effort to make America great again.

I truly believe that.

Returning to Judge Troward's, The Hidden Power:

"What we have to do, therefore, is to take the working of the law for granted, and make use of it accordingly; and since that is the law of Mind, and Mind is Personality, this Power, which is at once ourselves and above ourselves, may be treated as a Person and may be spoken with, and its replies received by the inner ear of the heart.  Any scheme of philosophy that does not result in this personal intercourse with the Divine Mind falls short of the mark....The Supreme Mind with which we converse is only to be met in the profoundest depths of our own being, and, as Tennyson says, is more perfectly ourselves than our own hands and feet.  It is our natural Base; and realising this we shall find ourselves to be in very truth "guarded ones," guided by the Spirit in all things, nothing too great and nothing too trivial to come within the great Law of our being."

amen to that

heaven and earth moves through us, with us, around us, in every possible way

"The connection itself is intrinsic, and can never be severed; but it must be consciously realised before it can be consciously used.  All our development consists in the increasing consciousness of this connection, which enables us to apply the higher power to whatever purpose we may have in hand, not merely in the hope that it may respond, but with the certain knowledge that by the law of its own nature it is bound to do so, and likewise with the knowledge that by the same law it is bound also to guide us to the selection of right objects and right methods." just more Troward
So the thing is,
as we awaken to the profoundness of this day, in remembrance of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., to God be the Glory that this man LIVED...that he touched our lives then, that he continuously touches our lives today; and with that, what a loss for America; oh how I wish he were celebrating his 89 years with us today. what a loss, what a loss.

Happy Birthday, MLK, happy birthday; surely heaven made you a cake with sprinkles in every color.

I truly believe, all the right answers are in the unseen, now and forevermore.  And it sure wouldn't hurt for the masses, from one congregation to another, from one community to another, to join forces in prayer; calling upon the Holiest One of All, our Supreme Guide, in unison, to mend and heal our brokenness still, is the least and the greatest thing a people can do.

Which brings me to a perfect close; #9 from Rev. Charles Stanley's Life Principles:

"Trusting God
means looking beyond
what we can see to what God sees."

oh thank heaven, right.

And finally, God's plan is moving along accordingly.

It's About Being True to Being You Thing

Dear America,

"I want to talk to you about the livingness
there is in being yourself.
It has at least the merit of simplicity,
for it must surely be easier
to be oneself
than to be something or somebody else."
The Hidden Power by Judge Thomas Troward

indeed

it seems the winter break over Christmas --- when the girl arrives home and the holidays commence --everything that was part of me being my usual self comes to a screeching halt.  Although hindsight, it doesn't really have a sudden stop, it's more a gradual letting go of things that normally occupied my time, and ever so slightly replacing them with all things surrounding her arrival, her visit, what to eat and what to do first.  And nearly as suddenly as the routine upends itself, it flips once more upon the day she leaves.

And in what seems like an instant, it is back to the life as we know it and all things familiar, promptly and orderly and responsibly come back to view and firmly return to the making of our foundation, grounded in schedules unbroken, goals of the coming year, and fresh in the hopes and dreams of whatever is to come.

And while this diary isn't known for being consistent, if you were to squint your eyes a wee bit, you will find that it is a record (albeit my record....teehee) of the livingness in America; that thing we do, the stuff that seems to keep on keepin' on in the every day, is the brilliant and universal essence of Life Itself.  It continually doesn't disappoint, for unlike the little miss gthang here, IT IS CONSTANT. THIS LIVINGNESS is a constant, receptive, life force that immediately responds to our thoughts and actions and words, and manifests something right back!

Continuing with Troward -- "This up-springing of Life-Essence is not another's -- it is our own.  It does not require deep studies, hard labours, weary journeyings to attain it; it is not the monopoly of this teacher or that writer....It is the innermost of ourselves, and a little common-sense thought as to how anything comes to be anything will soon convince us that the great inexhaustible life must be the very root and substance of us, permeating every fibre of our being."  [and don't you just love the old English spellings here...]

The things is -- it would be high time we make way for the uniqueness of all of us, yes? And at the same time, learning to self-edit may not be a bad idea either.

Indeed, sometimes the varied uniqueness we are surrounded with is at times awkward, embarrassing -- sometimes it is not something we agree with, let alone fully support -- sometimes it is based on the merits, while other times it is not -- it's sometimes factual, and sometimes not so much..............but make no mistake....

the day we begin to censor opinion, control the conversation, dictate to the whole without allowing for our differences to be respectfully heard, tweeted, or facebooked -- is the day this country, foundation and all, submerges into an abyss, never to be seen or heard again.

By definition, by precedent, the living waters springing from the fountain of independence and liberty of this fine Republic must be allowed to spring forward, no matter what.

And as hard as this is to say aloud, even The Donald's

Thing is -- when posed with the question, would you rather live in Haiti or Norway --  one would have to be rather disingenuous not to quickly reply, ah duh, Norway.  [But get a hoot out of CNN's Joan Walsh, just being herself.] Like really, Joan?

The only reason the democrats keep running on this open border, open migration, come one come all, amnesty for everyone, even if they come from s*&hole countries.....is for votes.  Plain and simple.  Oh my, those Dems ---  they just have to be who they are, no matter how lacking in common-sense to the safety and security of America...

Indeed -- Donald is no Ronald -- there is that!  And how.

BUT he is a rather good DONALD J. TRUMP.

Go, status quo, go. (as in go away.)

Oh Trump knows  full well who he is; he knows the art of the deal; he knows how to mess with people; he knows how to put his foot in it; he knows how to use twitter; and just like Obama, he has a pen and is not afraid to use it, either...  He is what he is and who he is.

It is what it is.

This is the livingness of America in real life.

And just get a load of the success...ever since the end of the year's final passage of the tax overhaul!

Immediately, the response from corporate America was bonuses!  And just this last week, Walmart stepped up with making a major announcement....see here.

At least The Donald didn't settle with the status quo, right?

But what can I say....he is sometimes crude...he is a fixer upper in progress, personally and professionally.  But as far and wide as the eye can see, aren't we all?  Evolving in the every day, the Donald's Essence-of-Life is active and alive with a spirit that is his own.  To be the most true to the Law of Life Itself, he is his own man in every way -- and for that, we should applaud his ability to get away with all kinds of sh**.   All of us have imperfections...

While his legacy is under construction, it may appear crude from the naked eye; but after it is all said and done, there will be a legacy.  And it will be The Donald's, just as every president before him.

One more Troward point:

"It is not the Essence-of-Life which has to grow, for that is eternally perfect in itself; but it is our recognition of it that has to grow, and this growth cannot be forced.  It must come by a natural process, the first necessity of which is to abstain from all straining after being something which at the present time we cannot naturally be.  The Law of our Evolution has to put us in possession of certain powers and opportunities, and further development depends on our doing just what these powers and opportunities make it possible for us to do, here and now."

Like it or not -- Trump is president.

He deserves a certain respect in order to do what he has been empowered to do, expressly by the voters, and on behalf of the future of a strong America.  This is what he ran on, and this is, in fact, what his livingness in America is pre-destined and divinely designed.   He IS in possession of certain powers and opportunities to affect the status quo, and make America great again.  Because let's face it, he must have it; otherwise, he would not be sitting in the Oval Office.  This is about law on top of law on top of law.

In essence, America has grown in decline.  The principles that have made us who we are are showing signs of neglect --  and only the little people seem to be in the position to recognize it, being the natural and raw state that it is in.

AMERICA has always been considered an exceptional nation, because AMERICA, thanks to our founders, changed the trajectory of government, upending centuries of oppressive control of the little people, from the foundation up.  For once and for all, government took a massive holiday and didn't come back for quite some time.  Until the here and now.

Which reminds me of this little zinger from President Reagan, as seen on The Patriot Post -- "You can't be for big government, big taxes, and big bureaucracy and still be for the little guy."  And how.

So in this new year, let us strive to be our best; my efforts will focus on being the best G, while for you -- you need to focus on being the best U.  And we can all hope and pray for President Trump to bring his best PDT, too.  From the crude to the refined, we all have a place, a purpose under heaven.

Pretty sure, in the big picture, all things will work out for the best.

And now, this is where I leave you  -- even though there is so much more to say.  I seem to always be leaving my self in a position of wanting more...but that has to be a good thing.  It doesn't hurt anyone to have an appetite for more, better, and ultimately manifesting the very best life has to offer....and all the while just by being yourself.

Every single one of us has this livingness within.

God bless you all in this new year; may the self-exploration continually flow like everlasting spring water to be not only true to ourselves, but strive to be good, decent people,  from sea to shining sea.  GO AMERICA!

Make it a Good Day, G
