It's Hail to the Chief's Tempered and Measured Response Thing

Dear America,

.. I asked, how many will die. 150 people, sir, was the answer from a General. 10 minutes before the strike I stopped it, not ... proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone. I am in no hurry, our Military is rebuilt, new, and ready to go, by far the best in the world," Trump said. "Sanctions are biting & more added last night. Iran can NEVER have Nuclear Weapons, not against the USA, and not against the WORLD!"
tempered and measured, who'd a thunk?

and people are saying that Iran struck the drone in retaliation to the US pulling out of the Iran Nuclear fraud... to which former NSC Chief of Staff, Fred Frietz, said this:

"That is a fraudulent argument. We don't stay in an agreement because the other party threatens to respond with violence. The president has responded with restraint. He has given [Iran] an opportunity to deescalate the situation, and I think he handled it right today."

and only last week, Tehran is allegedly responsible for the attack on the two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman.

but just look at this president -- yet again -- respond in tempered and measured ways.

and I like how he phrased it -- softening any assumptions of intentions -- “I would imagine it was a general or somebody who made a mistake by shooting that drone down,” Trump said during an Oval Office meeting Thursday with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. “I find it hard to believe it was intentional. It could have been somebody who was loose and stupid.”

This president is on America's side.

This president continues to act accordingly, and yet, will the media ever rise to the level of respect this president deserves?

Now -- this girl knows full well, this president is not perfect.  But make no mistake, this president's heart is always in the right place.  He loves his country -- our country -- America.

Obama hated America while president, he spent eight years transforming her from foundation to cupola.

Need a few facts--

Although not covering his entire two termsTHIS is a really good review -- going back to 2013 (five years into the Obama Administration) and written by Victor Davis Hanson for National Review.

Like many things that happened under the care of the Obama Administration, Obama was in a position to control the narrative, and that has made all the difference.  And maybe, he didn't need to control a thing -- you know, given his situation that lends itself to being given a pass; you know, when in reality you have an entire media who's got your back.

Although his reflections on race relations during the first five of Obama's years are sound, Victor Davis Hanson neglected to call out the Black Lives Matter protests by name.

Like immigration, the media supports a certain viewpoint.  It leans left.

But the truth is, the facts don't line up all neat and tidy so much...And surprise, surprise, even the Washington comPost couldn't do much about it:
The Post’s reporting shows that both the annual number and circumstances of fatal shootings and the overall demographics of the victims have remained constant over the past four years.
The dead: 45 percent white men; 23 percent black men; and 16 percent Hispanic men.
Women have accounted for about 5 percent of those killed, and people in mental distress about 25 percent of all shootings.
About 54 percent of those killed have been armed with guns and 4 percent unarmed.
To be clear, the Post only began tracking after the Michael Brown shooting, in 2014.  And yet, for the last four years, the numbers have been consistent -- roughly 1000 people are shot by police each year.  And based on those numbers, the Post came to these startling conclusions and stats.

Now, I've never been in a police altercation -- I've been pulled over for rolling through a stop sign, but that's about the height of it.  Even then, I was nervous reaching to get my proof of insurance.  It is an intimidating situation...and during the whole ten minutes at the curb, awaiting his check for outstanding warrants and what not, I tried to politely speak my case.  But he would have none of it.  I went to court to fight it, and he didn't even bother to show up. Ticket ripped up, boom.

But the point is, police are confronted with all kinds of humanity all the live long day.

It is interesting to note that women account for only 5 percent of those killed by police.  Is that because we are generally more polite to authority?  Or could it be that women are less likely to be bad actors in the first place?  Who knows.

But I digress.

Instead of Barack Obama making any improvements in race relations, he took America backwards, and made us all the more divided -- as he emphasized our differences, not our commonality.  He also made no attempt to talk to all citizens in the art of being good citizens, no matter from kindergarten to our death.

He lost such an opportunity for a few civic lessons along the way.

It's simple stuff really -- things like 'go to school'  'do your homework'  'respect your parents'  'respect your children'  'don't do drugs'  'get a job'  'dress appropriately'  'open doors for people'  'read books'  'pick up trash'  'don't litter in the first place'   'salute the flag'  'follow the rules'  'follow the law'  'don't break the law in the first place'  'immigrate to America by standing in line with everyone else'  'don't attempt to illegally cross America's border in the first place'   and on and on we could go.

let's get back to policy undomestic, shall we?

Victor Davis Hanson said this back in 2013, regarding Obama's transformation of America's foreign policy --

Foreign policy. What is the common theme to the euphemisms about terrorism and radical Islam, the failed reset with Russia, withdrawal from Iraq, confusion in Afghanistan, lead-from-behind in Libya, pink lines and pseudo–“game changers” in Syria, the faux deadlines with Iran, mesmerization with Turkey, peace feelers to Nicaragua, Cuba, and Venezuela, as well as the rhetorical tropes found in the Cairo speech, the U.N. addresses, and the Al-Arabiya interview?

Just as, in Obama’s worldview, the 1 percent exercise undue influence in the United States, so too abroad America has exercised exceptional power and influence that either are not warranted by its traditions and history, or do not contribute to stability and social justice in the world at large. Fundamentally transforming the role of the U.S. means tilting toward countries that are suspicious of the Western tradition, and favoring groups and countries like Turkey, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Palestinians that have supposedly legitimate grievances against the United States. The goal? Probably, the transformation of the U.S. into something like the EU, whose democratic socialism is manifested abroad with soft-power lectures.
The truth is -- the Obama Administration is more to blame for the current climate around the globe.  His entire foreign policy was based upon capitulation, from making blanket apologies in the Middle East, to bowing to Iran's calculated negotiations, allowing for the nonsense we bear witness to today.

and just look how tempered and measured this girl can be, taking in this long look in the rear-view mirror without incident of the f-bomb kind.   oh me oh my, detecting a wee bit of growth, eh?

welcome to the end of this day,
but before I go, I wish to recite a verse from Numbers -- since the truth is, our days are always numbered, according to the Big picture, somehow, someway...so may....

"The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face
shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
 the Lord turn his face
toward you and give you peace."

It's Fifty Shades of Grey Thing

Dear America,

But for my final address
 to this chamber,
I don’t want to just talk about next year.
I want to focus
on the next five years,
the next 10 years,
and beyond.
I want to focus on our future.

Got that right.  Who would want to focus on the present with a past like his?

In the middle of it...his "final address," Obama says...

It says America will always act, alone if necessary, to protect our people and our allies; but on issues of global concern, we will mobilize the world to work with us...

leading us to this...

That’s our approach to conflicts like Syria, where we’re partnering with local forces and leading international efforts to help that broken society pursue a lasting peace.

making it sound more like we are simply organizing a bake sale to support the local police chapter respond to a neighborhood ruckus before things really get out of hand, before he adds this...

That’s why we built a global coalition, with sanctions and principled diplomacy, to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran. And as we speak, Iran has rolled back its nuclear program, shipped out its uranium stockpile, and the world has avoided another war. (Applause.)

which is hilarious, considering he left out a couple of pertinent things....things like, and 'as we speak, Iran has rolled back its program, shipped out its uranium stockpile, and has gone on to test a missile or two, even while such actions go against the "global agreement" made only a few months back, and not only that --  has commandeered the capture of ten of our troops -- yes, as we speak, here, tonight -- and leaves me hanging this evening as to what the hell is going on while they hold our men (and one woman) hostage for the night in a place I like to call Tom Ayatollah Sawyer Island of Farsi.  Who knows when they will be given back to us, surely by morning; but not to worry. I have a point to make and a legacy to fake.'

indeed.  Now just for kicks, let's put side by side Iran's response to a Reagan Administration and Barack Obama's, shall we?  Let's see who gets the stand down first.  Our current Commandeer-In-Chief couldn't bend over any more if he tried; but of course, to admit to that, we would also have to agree there is evidence of a backbone to begin with -- but I digress. [btw, that's a great link there to American Thinker...don't miss the boat.]

Allow me to save us all some time.

The entire State of the Union was its usual propaganda puff piece, chock-full of lies and exaggerations, all while making a plethora of abusive ties to America's foundation -- the very principles and ideas to which this president defies and mocks, with great audacity and reckless abandon, mind you, in his every day to day to day... times seven years.

I am SO GLAD I didn't watch a lick of it!

[Including that SNL response that came right after, featuring Nikki Haley... SNL standing for Somebody's Not Listening...as in that somebody being the entire GOP Establishment.]

When will Republicans ever stop eating their own young, for pete's sake?!

All things considered, Trump is not America's enemy number one, okay.

Now, perhaps if we wanna go there for a moment,  Hillary Clinton could be a good candidate of an Enemy of the State...little miss I never said anything about a video, yeah right.  Liar, liar, pants suit on fire.

Here you are, Hill, ON VIDEO talking about a video, [fast forward to right around the half way mark].  And following your address to the families of Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods at Andrews Air Force Base-- you spoke intimately and directly to the family members, and let me show you the quote from the diary of Charles Woods, Tyrone's father, recorded the moment.  And then let's add this,  from Breitbart in 2012, go here.  And fast and furious forward to 2016, from The Daily Caller, Charles Woods repeated the memory, saying with a certain and consistent truth:
She said, ‘we’re going to have that person responsible for that video put in jail,'” he recalled, adding that Clinton’s comments “struck me as being very strange.”
And they did, too.  They put the guy in jail.

SEE HERE.  See also The Benghazi Patsy story at Politico, here.

How Hillary -- and Obama -- can get away with such blatant manipulation of truth and dares, have no idea.   Scratch that; for the real state of the union tells me so.

With the pathetically uneducated and misinformed being led by the unconscionable progressive body politic, left and right...and with such wanton betrayal -- the homeland is ripe for the taking; while the prevailing short-term memory issues that seem to run congruently with the loss of the critical thinking plays another key role and makes it all look    oh     so      easy.

Oh my.
May we correct the direction America is leaning before we all fall down.
But in the meantime, one more line from a presidency reaching its end:
I told you earlier all the talk of America’s economic decline is political hot air. Well, so is all the rhetoric you hear about our enemies getting stronger and America getting weaker. Let me tell you something. The United States of America is the most powerful nation on Earth. Period. (Applause.) Period. It’s not even close. It's not even close. (Applause.) It's not even close. We spend more on our military than the next eight nations combined. Our troops are the finest fighting force in the history of the world. (Applause.) No nation attacks us directly, or our allies, because they know that’s the path to ruin. Surveys show our standing around the world is higher than when I was elected to this office, and when it comes to every important international issue, people of the world do not look to Beijing or Moscow to lead -- they call us. (Applause.)
Period...it's not even close...it's not even close.
And for a moment there, you make it sound like America is pretty exceptional, Mr. President; it's as if you almost respect this beautiful country.

Oh my, how you personify fifty shades of grey, right on cue.

Make it a Good Day, G

It's a Trans-American Thing

Dear America,

Trans-American: n. 1. new acceptable term, widely used and recognized the world over -- the population of citizens in the people's republic of the United States of America following the crossing over into the new world...what Americans call thy self; 2. Trans-Americanian:  1. an American era in transition, crossing over from the old to something new.  2. the slow evolutionary process of losing "America," and it's citizens, previously recognized as one body e pluribus unum  "American" into a new world body, fusing with the entire world (including various multi-cultural democracies, oligarchy's, even countries promoting and operating under acts of terrorism worldwide, specifically targeting peaceful democracies).

This is where we are headed as we blindly follow what is passed off as simply classic political correctness run amok, yet having been brilliantly masterminded over the last hundred years -- although, clearly intensifying over the last six  --  in the proliferation of indoctrination by the progressive Left in order to break America.

Today, marks it's success;  a massive coup against America's firm foundation is nearly compete, eroding nearly every possibility of survival.

Beginning with what happened this week -- with our current administration not only talking to terrorists, negotiating with terrorists, but having sealed a  nuclear "pact"...a treaty... with terrorists.

Guess what we should be calling it?

TREASON.

1. violation of allegiance toward ones's sovereign or country; especially, the betrayal of one's own country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies.

We are there.

Call me funny, but I haven't seen any Americans dancing in the streets over this nuke deal.  Have you?

Who is celebrating?

Say what?

There is a bonus upon signing?  Lifting the sanctions equates to about  150 BILLION.

And even Susan Rice, our "National Security Adviser,"  had to admit the itty bitty detail that even though the "arms embargo" was still in effect, it would not prevent the exchange of money....which could quite possibly be used to support the Iranian military and its operations to wreak havoc upon the infidels of the world (perhaps beginning with Israel).

And we couldn't even get 4 Americans back????  [Not connected??? well, perhaps, but there is this thing called negotiation... you know, each side gives a little...]

Let's roll back to March 2015, and take a look at a video while in the midst of negotiations  --

The Ayatollah said....this.
At the time of this video, it was said to have cast certain doubt upon the ability to meet in the middle and come to any deal with Iran. I mean, c'mon, calling for "Death to America" seems to be  deal breaker, no?

Well, no....  Meet in the middle, anyone?  Hardly.

A compromise from all sides at the table never came.

Hence, Iranians happy.  TransAmericans?  Left dumbfounded and silent.  Associating with the crickets while sleeping with the fishes.

Rumor has it our president isn't even going to wait for congress to approve or disapprove.

Washington is working on a new Security Council resolution making the nuclear deal legally binding on the next president.

TREASON.

This is, if in fact true, an act against not only America's rule of law, but against AMERICA herself.

Trans-America here we come.

So yesterday, filed under  "unrelated news" --  a converted Islamic extremist murdered four marines in Chattanooga, TN.   The president came out and said this:

Oval Office
5:20 P.M. EDT
THE PRESIDENT:  I just received a briefing from FBI Director Comey, as well as my White House team, about the tragic shooting that took place in Chattanooga today.  We don't know yet all the details.  We know that what appears to be a lone gunman carried out these attacks.  We’ve identified a name.  And at this point, a full investigation is taking place.  The FBI will be in the lead, working closely with local law enforcement.
We’ve also been in contact with the Department of Defense to make sure that all our Defense facilities are properly attentive and vigilant as we sort through exactly what happened.  And as details of the investigation proceed, we’ll make sure that the FBI, as well as local law enforcement are providing the public with all the information that's involved.
My main message right now is, obviously, the deepest sympathies of the American people to the four Marines that have been killed.  It is a heartbreaking circumstance for these individuals who have served our country with great valor to be killed in this fashion.
And although the families are still in the process of being contacted, I want them to know that I speak for the American people in expressing our deepest condolences, and knowing that they have our full support as they try to overcome the grief that's involved here.
I also want to say that there are reports of injuries to Chattanooga local law enforcement officials.  Thankfully, as far as we know at this point, they have survived the assault.  And we want to make sure that they know that we're thinking of them.  They're in our thoughts and prayers.
We take all shootings very seriously.  Obviously, when you have an attack on a U.S. military facility, then we have to make sure that we have all the information necessary to make an assessment in terms of how this attack took place, and what further precautions we can take in the future.  And as we have more information, we’ll let the public know.
But in the meantime, I’d ask all Americans to pray for the families who are grief-stricken at this point.  And I want everybody to understand that we will be thorough and prompt in figuring out exactly what happened.
END
5:23 P.M. EDT

"lone gunman"
"we've identified a name"
"deepest sympathies"
"thoughts and prayers"
"And I want everybody to understand that we will be thorough and prompt in figuring out exactly what happened"

Oh like how you were "thorough and prompt in figuring out" what happened at Fort Hood?

Oh HE KNOWS what happened.

However, his first allegiance would be committing a transgression if he were to admit the truth of what exactly happened.

Obama was very clear as to what happened following the shooting in Charleston; let's go to that statement while we are at it, as he wasn't waiting for anyone to figure anything out, he knew:

James S. Brady Press Briefing Room
12:20 P.M. EDT
THE PRESIDENT:  Good afternoon, everybody.  This morning, I spoke with, and Vice President Biden spoke with, Mayor Joe Riley and other leaders of Charleston to express our deep sorrow over the senseless murders that took place last night.
Michelle and I know several members of Emanuel AME Church.  We knew their pastor, Reverend Clementa Pinckney, who, along with eight others, gathered in prayer and fellowship and was murdered last night.  And to say our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families, and their community doesn’t say enough to convey the heartache and the sadness and the anger that we feel.
Any death of this sort is a tragedy.  Any shooting involving multiple victims is a tragedy.  There is something particularly heartbreaking about the death happening in a place in which we seek solace and we seek peace, in a place of worship.
Mother Emanuel is, in fact, more than a church.  This is a place of worship that was founded by African Americans seeking liberty.  This is a church that was burned to the ground because its worshipers worked to end slavery.  When there were laws banning all-black church gatherings, they conducted services in secret.  When there was a nonviolent movement to bring our country closer in line with our highest ideals, some of our brightest leaders spoke and led marches from this church’s steps.  This is a sacred place in the history of Charleston and in the history of America.
The FBI is now on the scene with local police, and more of the Bureau’s best are on the way to join them.  The Attorney General has announced plans for the FBI to open a hate crime investigation.  We understand that the suspect is in custody.  And I’ll let the best of law enforcement do its work to make sure that justice is served.
Until the investigation is complete, I’m necessarily constrained in terms of talking about the details of the case.  But I don’t need to be constrained about the emotions that tragedies like this raise.  I’ve had to make statements like this too many times.  Communities like this have had to endure tragedies like this too many times.  We don’t have all the facts, but we do know that, once again, innocent people were killed in part because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble getting their hands on a gun.  Now is the time for mourning and for healing.
But let’s be clear:  At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries.  It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency.  And it is in our power to do something about it.  I say that recognizing the politics in this town foreclose a lot of those avenues right now.  But it would be wrong for us not to acknowledge it.  And at some point it’s going to be important for the American people to come to grips with it, and for us to be able to shift how we think about the issue of gun violence collectively.
The fact that this took place in a black church obviously also raises questions about a dark part of our history.  This is not the first time that black churches have been attacked.  And we know that hatred across races and faiths pose a particular threat to our democracy and our ideals.
The good news is I am confident that the outpouring of unity and strength and fellowship and love across Charleston today, from all races, from all faiths, from all places of worship indicates the degree to which those old vestiges of hatred can be overcome.  That, certainly, was Dr. King’s hope just over 50 years ago, after four little girls were killed in a bombing in a black church in Birmingham, Alabama.
He said they lived meaningful lives, and they died nobly.  “They say to each of us,” Dr. King said, “black and white alike, that we must substitute courage for caution.  They say to us that we must be concerned not merely with [about] who murdered them, but about the system, the way of life, the philosophy which produced the murderers.  Their death says to us that we must work passionately and unrelentingly for the realization of the American Dream.
“And if one will hold on, he will discover that God walks with him, and that God is able to lift you from the fatigue of despair to the buoyancy of hope, and transform dark and desolate valleys into sunlit paths of inner peace.”
Reverend Pinckney and his congregation understood that spirit.  Their Christian faith compelled them to reach out not just to members of their congregation, or to members of their own communities, but to all in need.  They opened their doors to strangers who might enter a church in search of healing or redemption.
Mother Emanuel church and its congregation have risen before –- from flames, from an earthquake, from other dark times -– to give hope to generations of Charlestonians.  And with our prayers and our love, and the buoyancy of hope, it will rise again now as a place of peace.
Thank you.
END
12:28 P.M. EDT
You, sir, are soooooooooooooooo Transparent.
It was just a lone gunman @Chattanooga.    Oh okay; no time to opine on this one, Mr. President?
Trans-Continental radicalization meet fundamental transformation of America.
Here's something to consider, from National Review:
Suggesting a correlation between the number of Muslims in the country and the incidence of radicalism is, of course, considered insensitive, if not downright “Islamophobic.”
But the only point here is a mathematical one: Whatever the percentage of Muslims who support or would ever consider supporting jihadism, the raw number obviously increases along with the total number of Muslims. One percent of 10 million is much larger than 1 percent of 1 million. The questions is, at what point does the radical population achieve a kind of critical mass?

This surely meets up squarely with the new prison reform ideas, allowing the population, once time is well served,  to vote (it's a civil right, you know, to vote -- how can we not allow felons to voice their political clout via votes?)

And this little number from the Huffington Post:

Prisons would also become major centers for Islamic outreach. Today, prison officials, prison chaplains and scholars claim that Islam is the fastest growing religion behind bars. Although there are no reliable statistics, estimates suggest that 35,000-40,000 inmates convert to Islam each year, and nationwide, it is estimated that 15 percent of the U.S. prison population is Muslim, or as much as 350,000 current Muslim inmates.
A tranquilizer would be good right about now.

America,
transient and diminishing,
nearly unseen by the naked eye.

TransAmerica here we come.

But back to this killer deal America got --

I found a fabulous place to read the LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG statement from the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, documenting the fact that "all objectives" have been met according to Iran --- although  little g is merely linking you to one particular spot, here.  [And please, by all means, read a whole lot more at "What the Folly.com"] --

“We behaved so skillfully that if talks won’t succeed, the world would accept that Iran is for logic and dialogue and never left the negotiating table…and if we succeed by the grace of God, the world will know that the Iranian nation can resolve its problems through logic,”
“Twenty-two months of negotiation means we have managed to charm the world, and it’s an art," as plucked from The Times of Israel, here.

And flash forward to this trans-continental snub:  Iran bans U.S. inspectors from all Nuclear Sites

All the while OUR president insists:

Because of this deal, we will, for the first time, be in a position to verify all of these commitments.  That means this deal is not built on trust; it is built on verification.  Inspectors will have 24/7 access to Iran’s key nuclear facilities.

*Iran [Inspectors] will have access to Iran’s entire nuclear supply chain -- its uranium mines and mills, its conversion facility, and its centrifuge manufacturing and storage facilities.  This ensures that Iran will not be able to divert materials from known facilities to covert ones.  Some of these transparency measures will be in place for 25 years.

Oh okay.

That's a good one.  And quite possibly treasonous.

It's just the continuing saga of two countries, two stories, two ideologies, two societies -- and that's just within our borders; fused together, it marks the beginning -- or is it the middle ?   the end? of an American travesty.

Trans-America or bust; fundamental transformation is perfectly non-discriminating and steadfast in every way....patient ...and it's fully counting upon it's natural charm to invade and destroy everything we know and love to be hailed all things AMERICAN.

We are all Trans-Americans now.
to be continued...

Make it a Good Day, G

It's Just About a Boy and a Letter Stating the Obvious Thing

Dear America,

funny.

President Obama is embarrassed for the Senators who signed the Open Letter to the Leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran....

Read the OPEN LETTER, here.

Did you read it?

Did you?

Cuz if you did read the Open Letter, you would walk away going WTF?  What is the big deal?  There is nothing here but a reminder to the "Leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran" as to how our government works as to agreements: what is binding and what is not, is at the crux of the checks and balances system and keeps order.

The Letter was non-threatening.

And aside from the fact that only republicans signed it....The Letter was non-partisan.

The Letter was simply stating the obvious -- emphasizing the CONSTITUTIONAL non-committal aspects of an agreement that really isn't an agreement at all!

The president should be the one embarrassed!

Want proof?

"Yesterday" we were discussing the former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton and her propensity to lie through her teeth -- and that was fun.  But today, let's go to her replacement: John Kerry.

Mr. President:  Are you as embarrassed of your very own Secretary of State who, in the last couple of days, has concurred with the 47 Senators?

Let's go to the headline at the Washington Post....

Even John Kerry says the Iran deal is not legally binding [Updated]

okay.
SO call me Just a Girl, but if we are not negotiating a legally binding plan" --- then what are we doing?

And the president is embarrassed for the Senators?

Seriously?

Did the president actually read the letter?

It's harmless; besides, it's just as harmless as whatever the Secretary of State John Kerry said anyway:

"We've been clear from the beginning: We're not negotiating a, quote, legally binding plan," Kerry told the panel. "We're negotiating a plan that will have in it the capacity for enforcement. We don't even have diplomatic relations with Iran right now."
We don't have "diplomatic relations with Iran right now" and yet we are relating with them diplomatically?

What's embarrassing is watching my country, this administration, negotiate with terrorists -- a tireless, oppressive, ideologically Islamic Extreme  regime --  just for the sake of creating a political legacy of this presidency.  Hmmmmm.  I wonder what the value of a non-binding legacy is going for these days?  (It's a good question.)

Me thinks President Obama is really just embarrassed that we are all well aware of what a really bad deal this really is!   And what happens when a community organizer gets embarrassed?  He goes to the Alinsky rule book and starts playing the ridicule card.  duh.

What's embarrassing is the trailer quote of the president, as a teaser for an upcoming interview scheduled to run on Vice News on Monday (and plucked from Politico just this morning):

“I’m embarrassed for them. For them to address a letter to the ayatollah who they claim is our mortal enemy, and their basic argument to them is ‘don’t deal with our president ‘cause you can’t trust him to follow through on agreement,”

Yeah, cuz that's exactly what they said.

Oh okay, Mr. President Thin Skin.

Poke fun at them all you want, but that snippet does more to diminish the office and influence of an American president more. What are you twelve?

And more than that --  you don't see the Iranian regime as an enemy -- an enemy against the United States, against Israel, against peace in the middle east, against women, against gays, against human rights, and anything else the "leaders of the Iranian Republic of Iran" do not agree with?  really?

Let's go another direction entirely --

What's embarrassing is having our president yucking it up with Jimmy Fallon and slow jamming the news...like this.  [oh, it's funny.  it's cool.  it's very funny...but presidential?]

What's embarrassing is having a couple of our Secret Service guys show the world  just how protected we keep our president and the president's house.  Wow.  And from another angle. WowWow.

and on that note...

It's Numbers and Negotiations, Secret Tapes and Secret Deals Thing

Dear America,

47% tie.

hum, where have i heard that before?

exactly.
thank you mother jones.... now moveon.org  for here is the transcript of the 47% night -- at least, as much as the "secret tape recorder" would allow.

oh G,  now isn't this really old, old news?

sure -- but given the Left still gets plenty of mileage on it, I figured it wouldn't hurt to go back to the night in question....especially since, alas, we are at a plum tie, at what?  yeah, that's right, forty-fricken-seven-percent per an NBC poll, sent out to the world on a sleepy Sunday morning.

Is it just me, or is Mitt right smack dab on the money?

The prelude to the 47% answer?  A question from the audience that went something like this:

Audience member: For the last three years, all everybody's been told is, "Don't worry, we'll take care of you." How are you going to do it, in two months before the elections, to convince everybody you've got to take care of yourself?
Notice the frustration in the question itself.
If you really think about it, the question is probably on the minds of many; someone, somewhere, nearly any hour of the day wonders how did we get here and more importantly, how do we get out of this mess .  How do we return to self-reliance, something considered to be a cornerstone of this nation?

It's called bare honesty, desperation really, begging the question -- just how do you, Mitt, plan on convincing those people in this country who have grown dependent on government help through entitlements, to find a way to take care of themselves?

And the private audience got honesty right back.

Romney: There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. [He could have stopped right there]  All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. And I mean, the president starts off with 48, 49, 48—he starts off with a huge number. These are people who pay no income tax. Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax. So our message of low taxes doesn't connect. And he'll be out there talking about tax cuts for the rich. I mean that's what they sell every four years. And so my job is not to worry about those people—I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives. What I have to do is convince the 5 to 10 percent in the center that are independents that are thoughtful, that look at voting one way or the other depending upon in some cases emotion, whether they like the guy or not, what it looks like. I mean, when you ask those people…we do all these polls—I find it amazing—we poll all these people, see where you stand on the polls, but 45 percent of the people will go with a Republican, and 48 or 4…

You know, now that we have all had a chance to see and hear and watch the real Mitt in the debates for awhile, it is fascinating reading the transcript on 'the night of the 47%.'  The real Mitt shines through!  You can actually feel his words as if you are there with him..  And if you actually take the time to read his remarks from that entire night -- for starters, you would find him almost as funny as the night of the Al Smith dinner...not kidding.  Here's a second chance to link to the source.

But thanks to mother jones, the night gives us a mother-lode of a measured, magnificent Mitt -- all night long.

In any event -- the two are tied at what?  47%.   Guess how many are not budging, now that we are only two weeks out from the election?  yup.  Four and seven.  put 'em together and you get 47%

Here's another angle:  The Left has clearly asked the Right to believe that the president referred to the Benghazi attack as an "act of terror" in the Rose Garden speech as being equivalent to "terrorism."  [which is bull, but whatever]  SO blanketed statements all being the same, Mitt was referring to those people who are dependent on ENTITLEMENTS, aka "obama money," and nothing more.  Mitt wasn't talking about our veterans pensions, or to our Social Security recipients, or even to Medicare beneficiaries.  He was talking about those stuck on WELFARE programs -- the programs we spend 1.028 Trillion dollars a year on SEE HERE.  Not even this tally of 1.028 trillion dollars includes the veterans pensions, social security, or Medicare...making the context here all the more consistent.

"The Utopian schemes of leveling, and a community of goods, are as visionary and impracticable as those which vest all property in the Crown. [These ideas] are arbitrary, despotic, and, in our government, unconstitutional."   Samuel Adams, for more.
"FORWARD" -- yeah, right; that slogan might as well be written on parchment.

big day, NEW TWIST

Secret Video moves to Secret Deal; just waiting for the day after the election.  [cue the evil laugh here]

Hmmmmm which one happens to be a more serious grievance than the other -- the 47% voter-share reality or secret negotiations with people who don't Like us? . hmmmm....go on...

Well let's first mention, the inaugural deal, the one between the U.S. and Russia...Going back to March, it went something like this:

President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.
President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…
President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.
President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir   [creepy]

[oh wait.  Read it again, only this time conforming to the audience much like our president does on the campaign trail; give yourself an accent like a Boris or a Natasha...it just makes it more fun and we need a little levity]

But  the real question remains -- was it really the "inaugural" secret deal --  or is there more?

Come to think of it, wow, I wonder what happened behind closed doors -- in secret -- when the president was doing his apology tour during his first year in office?  We now know the speech in Cairo was before the members of the Muslim Brotherhood.  And then...all of a sudden  we were pushing  Mubarak out and letting the brotherhood in......hmmm  And then we were pushing Gaddhafi out -- by way of Kinetic Military Action and leaving the region vulnerable....hmmm....and the next thing we know, we are ignoring Libya altogether.

And on that note, let's move on to a more current Secret Deal -- with Iran, of all places.

The Times broke the story, even though the White House, well they ain't talking.

Here's more from Reza Kahlili, @ WND.
It seems to be a pretty big deal.

So -- you know what this means --  it's gonna be some kind of fun tonight at the OK Corral, that's all I have to say.

[No, actually, that's not all.]

[And yes, that was a cheesy little link to wikipedia....oh well. Shoot me.  But note the date -- the famous gun slingin' at the 'OK Corral' happened on October 26, at 3pm PST. -- we're fast approaching an anniversary, but it was purely by accident I used the phrase in the first place.  I love how that happens.]

Let's get around to a few things said out-loud and  NOT in secret --

There's always Joe -- speaking to an audience of the "49% Black in Danville, VA", "they're gonna put y'all back in chains..."  I have no idea how he can get away with saying something like this; just imagine it -- this is coming from our vice president!

And more recently, courtesy of ABC News, an exchange with a member of the audience went like this:
They have guns but no bullets,” a member of the crowd shouted.
“Unfortunately, the bullets are aimed at you,” Biden replied, pointing at the man who had spoken and prompting laughter from the audience.
The vice president added that Republicans were dividing the country by talking about “a culture of dependency.” [or is it the Democrats dividing the country by vilifying "the culture of the1%, 2%, top 10% -- the job creators who pay for 70% of everything ?]

And, lest we forget to mention, during the same speech Joe confuses the war in Afghanistan with a war -- happening now? -- in Iran! [can this guy even handle another four more years?] [making it even funnier -- Harry Reid was nodding in the affirmative right behind him...hilarious stuff]

One more simply amazing thing said aloud, sort of -- this time by tweet, or is this really a "re-tweet" repeat:....

"I have no idea why any woman/minority
would vote for Romney.
You have to be stupid to vote
for such a racist/misogynistic twat."

Who's the twit you ask?

The Obama Campaign's Co-Chair, Eva Longoria!  That is some kind of class, isn't it?  I was forced to color it pink just to make it go down a wee bit easier...but honestly, is this message really approved by Barack Obama?

Well now, to recap: the NBC poll has Obama/Romney virtually at a tie.   At what?  that's right...@47%.

And what that means is-- about half of those polled, actually 47%,  are locked into Obama and will not move, much like Romney predicted.  These people could be characterized as those people dependent on getting free stuff from the government (make that from other people, aka TAXPAYERS).  Remember now -- the government produces nothing but bureaucracy; they only know how to spend other people's money, and if they don't have enough, they simply make more of it  [which is also a tax! -- aka INFLATION].

Increased debt ceiling, here we come.

There is another 47%; and I, for one, have no problem calling myself part of the 47 for Romney; no great secret there, is there....But guess what?  There is another poll that gives Romney 51% and Obama 45%.-- per Gallup...

...perhaps confirming movement unexpected.

BUT if we are truly all Americans still, living  in these great big beautiful United States, I, for two, would be way more alarmed these days by things seen and unseen, said and unsaid --  sshhhhhh
  • the UN is about to take away our gun rights -- some crazy shhh*&t; is going down;
  • missile defense is being used as a bargaining chip against our allies;
  • nuclear weaponry aspirations and intentions will have to wait until AFTER the election for discussion, while a letter is on it's way as we speak carving out particulars of the deal, illuminating sanctions that can be temporarily waived;
  • meanwhile, any sit-down with someone within the Muslim Brotherhood is negotiating with a terrorist organization (it's just a FACT --  it's just that nobody wants to say it out-loud);
  • or here's a good one, fresh from The Daily Caller today -- meetings with Islamic Radicals at the White House...fortunately, it's no secret when they sign the guest book...
  • and Libya, just a case in point of how Al Queda is not dead, that Islamic Extremism is alive and well, and coming in all shapes, sizes and locals -- Obama's foreign policy,  leading by apologies and pandering from behind, is no way to move "FORWARD"........

Trust is so over-rated, right?  But what do I know...I'm just a girl.

OK so now I think I am done for one day; now we just have to wait.  We will have to wait, and wait, and wait until the end of this day, before we witness the final duel, metaphorically speaking.  For anyone interested in reading up on a few famous ones, real ones, you can  go here.

It's about the little green man in the oval office Thing

Dear America,

you know, I consider myself a wee bit naive  (though, think of myself culturally street-wise in the general sense) -- living my life through a prism of  innocence.  I feel like I was just born that way, as it comes naturally and easily to me, and I don't seem to fight it.   I like how I trust.  I like how I believe all things are possible with love.  And for the most part, I like how I speak faith of my fellow man.

but now for a president to don his naiveté on his sleeve... like this?

it makes me wonder...

and question...

just who has his ear these days; just who in sam hill is he giving this guy international relations advice?

"There is no reason
for the United States and Iran
to be divided from one another"
President Obama

of course, he wasn't speaking directly to Ahmadinejad -- he was speaking directly to the hearts and minds of Persians.  It was a taped message, reinforcing America's commitment to the Iranian people.

aside from the great big nuclear-powered elephant standing in the shadows behind the president, sure, there is no reason at all.

why so glum, people?
...people who just so happen to be way outside my jurisdiction and protection...way.

"Today, my administration
is issuing new guidelines to make it easier
for American businesses
to provide software and services
 into Iran
that will make it easier
for the Iranian people to use the Internet."

now away with you, electric iron curtain.  away with you.

like, just who is gonna wanna set up shop in Iran right now?

the middle east is about to be set on fire, yet again, and Obama is boasting about America's new guidelines to make it easier to use facebook?  seriously?

"oh. now who's being naive, Kay?"

oopsie-daisy...
digressed into one of my favorite lines from The Godfather there

The Iranian government has set up real, live, News streams --  propaganda machines -- all over the world to run 24/7 characterization attacks against America, Christianity, and the Western World as a whole -- indoctrinating the world to hate us just for sharing this planet with them.   HERE is an excellent breakdown.  And HERE is an excellent snippet of how it operates in America.

"We have learned once more that suppressing ideas
never succeeds in making them go away."
Obama

oh right. once a community organizer, always a community organizer -- even if it's outside the boundaries of his own community.

which is funny, really.
hearing our own president speak of oppression and suppression as if he's not doing any of that right here in his own backyard. [see also:  drilling permits and pipeline approval (burying any possibility of creating avenues to energy independence in the near future); pitting religious liberty rights against universal health care mandates; silencing the voice of conservative women altogether; demonizing the showing of identification when voting...like we do for buying alcohol, or cashing a check, or getting into an R-rated movie; OH, and not to be outdone, crushing free speech with Internet Control regulations right HERE IN AMERICA!   this should do it...no need for overkill, right]

oh silly Americans -- who's being naive?

not me.
