It's All About who the Real Enemy of the State IS Thing

Dear America,

"Too much agreement kills a chat."
 Eldridge Cleaver

if you could invite anyone over for dinner, dead or alive, how would you fill a table of twelve?

My list continues to be tweaked --  but this guy, Cleaver -- oh he is now sitting just to my right.

It's an American story -- of a major flip flop, of nearly unimaginable proportions!  If the story was told on Fox News, and Fox News only,  more than likely, half of the viewership -- the liberals --  would believe the report to be untrue.  Correction -- the masses leaning to the left would never even hear about it, for they would never see it, being a bunch of never Trumper's let alone Fox News viewers; and falling victim to the mainstream media's general practice of selective truth-telling, the story would never be told on CNN, or ABC, or CBS, or (MS)NBC, simply because this narrative from commie to conservative doesn't fall in line with the leftist movement, mindset, or agenda.

Eldridge Cleaver went from being an imprisoned and violent Black Panther, a lover of communism,  an unconscionable, unrepentant rapist, to a man reborn in every possible way; from growing a personal faith a relationship with God through Christianity, from being a fully repentant and restored ex-con, from breaking all ties to his sordid past and becoming a conservative republican before he died, to his credit and tenacity, Cleaver flipped upon everything he was and became a brand new man. And a better man, at that.

What a fascinating conversation heaven must be having right about now, perhaps over plates of food served family style.

Which makes me wonder, what in the world is Jeff Flake thinking?  Is he that desperate for people to approve of him, like him,  as he seemingly leads with the hope that people come to believe he must be the smartest congressman in the room?  Comparing Trump to Stalin?  Seriously?

A free press can only be the guardian of democracy when it actually tells the truth, the whole truth, Jeff Flake, emphasis on flake.

The press is an "enemy of the people" when the press holds a tyrannical hold on what is true and what is not, or what is told and what is not, be it from facts (like a doctor's report) to pure fiction (can you say dossier?); you would have to be deaf dumb and blind not to see the overwhelming bias of the mainstream media, leading with a certain narrative no matter the mainstream news channel you choose -- any sign of objectivity, supported by facts, are trumped with utter nonsense. every minute of every day.

But it is good that you said what you said, Jeff; for it tells me that you are doing the right thing with your decision not to run for re-election in Arizona.  This must have been your idea of performing the proverbial swan song....(while the irony runs wide and deep if you understand the falsehoods of the phrase itself....too funny).

In the macro, it's kinda sad that people are so threatened with just the idea of holding different opinions, to be in agreement with disagreeing; but in the micro, how can Jeff Flake not see it?  The mainstream media IS tweaking the truth; it IS withholding facts to protect the Left; it IS portraying this administration as being led with a president on the edge of sanity, a dimwit, a racist...all of which are untrue...How can Jeff not see it?  To have this kind of cray cray come from someone from the right, just makes all this so hard to swallow.

Now, Barack Obama, I can understand --

"If you watch Fox News,
you are living on a different planet
than you are if you are listening to NPR.”

wow.
But in reality -- Obama's feelings about Fox News and conservative outlets were not a secret.  Every chance he got, Obama would chide the conservative media, especially hitting the so-called "untruths" of Fox, including, and continually, knocking it's ignorant viewership.

It IS a good thing that "too much agreement kills a chat," right? (I just LOVE this line from Cleaver so much.)

Unlike the Libs, or flake-y so-called conservatives, I dig this kind of disagreement.  I love the art of a damn good discussion, in every civilized and uncivilized way.

And really, weaving the knocks against media together in equal portion whether  Left or Right -- how is it not evident (to Jeff and anyone else)  just how both presidents, past and present, seem to cling to their own definition of  "fake news."  For Obama -- fake news is, and always will be, that which comes via Fox News, and any other conservative website, for that matter.  For Trump -- fake news is the mainstream media.

And this is what makes this soooooo wrong.  For the mainstream is supposed to just say the news -- bias, narratives, re-story telling, critiquing, judging, taking sides, is simply not cool.  Democracy dies in darkness AND under the glaring light of bias.

The thing is:  Trump is at war with the Left leaning liberal media; but not to worry -- he saw it coming.  And more important, he is not afraid.  (Hence, one of the main differences between Trump and all sixteen of his republican challengers in the 2016 election.)

Jeff not only needs to grow a pair, he needs to wake up to the obvious, so predictable, rather innocuous ridicule that knocks and rocks media outlets both ways.  And then Jeff just needs to go away.

It's pretty harmless, these jabs, either left or right, against all or part of the media; but to put Trump in the same group as a Stalin for it?  Then honestly, Flake, you must then do the same with Obama.

How unfair, sophomoric really, that a republican like Jeff Flake -- a guy who clearly doesn't like Trump, let alone respect the voters who put Trump in office --  does not see fit to give Trump a fair shake (it's gotta be personal by now, just sayin).

There is a long list where the MEDIA gets it wrong:

Trump does not have dementia.
Trump did not collude with the Russians to win the election.
Trump did not sell Uranium to the Russians, using a private foundation for cover, along with a little help from the state department.
Trump did not orchestrate a downright lying piece of propaganda from Fusion GPS, and use it to gain unlawful warrants, etc  etc
Trump did not store confidential government documents using an unprotected, non-government private server....
Trump didn't cover up a terror attack at Benghazi, blaming it on a video...and go off to a fund raiser the very next day (not even being in the room when the sh** was going down...! Obama had to get his sleep.)
shall I go on?  Because I can.
We haven't even mentioned the roaring economy, all thanks to Trump, a new tax code, and within his first year.  bada bing bada boom.
.................
Oh, but Trump might need to lose 10 to 15 pounds, there is that; but other than that, Trump is physically and mentally all there, what a shame for the left leaning mainstream media, who wish the guy would just have a heart attack already and die.  Truth be told, Trump has been living a pretty  healthy life (having not touched alcohol or cigarettes or street drugs his entire life) and is in peek health for his age.  His doctor thinks a fair share of good genes has contributed...

Will this report put the nonsense to bed?  Will this finally end the non-stop disparaging remarks towards the president's mental health and ability to control red buttons and crazy communist leaders large and small? Nope.

It won't change a thing.
As the left leaning mainstream media has decidedly colluded.

Trump is correct.  The mainstream media IS an enemy of the state, and all the while, only the educated voter is aware --- all the rest of the public is simply jumping on board and drinking kool-aid.

WINNERS OF FAKE NEWS AWARDS, see here.

So to conclude the news on the day -- Flake is an idiot.  A self-promoting, RINO-whining, s$%&storm shooting, fraud who has merely fallen victim to his never-Trumper, mainstream media ass-kissing, f@&^ his  constituents, heart of hearts.  He has no understanding of the games Trump plays.

It's been twenty years since Eldridge Cleaver walked the earth; but surely he would have made a better congressman than Flake any day of the week.

And on that note, this day is done.

It's a Day to Guard Your Loins and More Thing

Dear America,

happy Yom Kippur - a day which celebrates Atonement, reconciliation with God, in the Jewish faith

Imagine being Jewish in America on this day, considering Ahmadinejad was the guest speaker at the United Nations, doubling down on his vision for a New World Order.  As if.  As if America is leading in anything at the moment...but we digress.  But the audacity really:

"Now even elementary school kids throughout the world have understood that the United States government is following an international policy of bullying." Ahma-madman-dinjad

What is wrong with us that we would allow this guy on American soil to have the freedom to speak at all -- and on Yom Kippur of all days?  Did we let him pick this day?

You know, by funding the operations of the United Nations to the tune of 22%, we are masochists I tell you.  You, me, we paid for this atrocity of power and reckless disrespect of people of the Jewish faith.

This is not a good day for G.

I am already running behind schedule; I have too much on my plate to do today; but even that, doesn't convey the level of my frustration.  You know what it really is?   I'm just gonna come right out and say it. I am feeling rather punchy -- sensing that propaganda, politics and perverted polling is pissing all over us -- and the so-called new world order on the horizon doesn't help.

[ya see.  it is bad.    sorry father for I have sinned with thee potty mouth right off the blog-bat]

This is not a time for cowards, I give you that today; we must put on our all-weather gear and press on.

The mainstream polls are worthless pieces of doodoo.

Here's some proof -- from the National Journal.  Jim Geraghty confirms the deception and affirms the truth.  Let us give thanks and praise.

For further evidence, let's go to something fairly new under heaven, UnSkewed Polls.com.

Part of what screws up the minds of Americans these days, can be blamed on a little something I like to call  the Liberal Mind Meld.   They create their own polling results off of faulty data and then repeat it everywhere and often; eventually, the weak give up. [it works the same way with widespread propaganda] It's a form of torture on able-bodied, intelligent Americans even under normal circumstances, but when weakened through no fault of their own, the mind begins to bend, believing it has no other option but to accept it as the truth.

Of course, those of us with strong constitution and firm conviction, never buckle.

Given the cut-throat environment, everyday logic seems to have no place to congregate for very long.

Given the atmosphere, common sense must be searched out from underneath the rot and rubble.

In the spirit of this day of Atonement, let us not give in to the Liberal Mind Meld. For they are the real bullies in this day in the life of America.

And if I didn't feel the rush to keep going on with the rest of my day, I would stay to vent the day away without delay, okay...

So let me leave you with one thought:  Take extra vitamins and be on guard.  Guard your thoughts with your life; guard this next election as if it were the last; guard your future with Things not of this world.

Make it a Good Day, G

It's Going Against Warped, Time-Released Propaganda, Filling our Minds, Making us Believe Dumb Things

Dear America,

some REPUBLICANS SUCK right now.
seriously.
STOP IT.

Stop cowering to the mass frenzy beating Mitt into the ground.  I'm not even talking to that "47%" today --

People like Bill Kristol need to put a cork in it; jumping on Mitt like that, calling him arrogant for what is considered pure rational thought.. It was simply unadulterated, with both eyes wide open, with no apologies required candid comments on the facts.   And Kristol crumbles -- overreacting to Mitt's comments on the electorate; Romney was merely deciphering what is 'mine, his, and ours'  and nothing more.  shut up already.

And then today -- the media with the help of a few on the right -- pouncing on the news about Tim Pawlenty leaving Mitt's campaign co-chair post to become the CEO of the Financial Services Roundtable.    And it starts all over again... there go the idiots sounding off like toucan uncle sams,  jumping on this as if the campaign is over.

Man up people.

They want us to think it's all falling down -- when it couldn't be any more untrue.

Do not pay attention to any of this.

Do not add ridiculousness to the ridiculous.

Do not feed the animals, for they are just cannibals.

This is exactly what the Left, and the president's campaign, wants us to do -- we are walking right into their trap.

It is neither here nor there regarding that "oooh secretly taped video"  out of the creative mind of the grand-brain-child of Jimmy Carter.  Play the whole tape, and then we can talk.

You wanna talk tape?  There is a mother load of bad feed out of the mouth of our very own president -- dating back twenty years at least. [and the good news, he is awfully consistent...and not in a good way]

Add that record of radicalized thought to that which we have heard out of the mouth of his "mentor" [Obama's reference, not mine] of more than twenty years, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, and then we're really getting somewhere.

How about we tally up all of Barack's taped speeches to the Unions over the years -- any union, every union -- that should be pretty good pickings.

How about we just go back to listen to his recorded apologies to the Muslim world --  watch him stutter and pander, make promises (...until after the election) and plead for second chances with questionable alliances, like Russia, and radicals -- like the Muslim Brotherhood.

Let's  just run a blooper reel for awhile -- that day he called "corpsmen"  CORPSE man (twice over).

Watch him yuck it up over the "shovel ready jobs" being not so shovel ready.

Or how about we just tap into how many times during the last four years this president of ours has just changed his spots before our eyes, pandering to the audience like a chameleon on the prowl.   And you know exactly what I am talking about --  rolling a few r's when feelin' it with the Hispanic crowd, acting all "MLK" when getting down with the African-Americans, getting all blue collar with the union soldiers -- or going the other way....here is evidence of the president doing everything in his power not to bend.

If republicans could just get a grip and relax -- the reality of Pawlenty's move is a good one; it's a move that elevates the importance of a bigger picture and a plan -- a new deal, if you will;  it confirms the changes we are beginning to make on the home front.  It is welcoming in a new era, leading with the Executive Branch and setting us up for long term economic accountability.

This move says, the campaign is secure, Mitt is in the home stretch and there is bigger fish to fry -- and that would be the integrity of America's financial system.  And  Yes!  This move -- for Pawlenty --  is a pretty big deal...but in a pretty good way.

From the homepage of the Financial Services Roundtable, we get their "mission":

Statement of Core Values

  • Fairness: We will engage in practices that provide a benefit and promote fairness to our customers, employees or other partners.
  • Integrity: As an industry everything we do is built on trust. That trust is earned and renewed based on every customer relationship.
  • Respect: We will treat the people on whom our businesses depend with the respect they deserve in each and every interaction.
  • Responsibility: We have a responsibility not only to comply with all laws and regulations, but to set high standards for our behavior and to hold ourselves accountable to live up to those standards
  • Stability: We are committed to building long‐term stability for the financial system, and our actions will emphasize long‐term instead of short‐term gain.
  • Transparency: We will provide information in straightforward, accurate and understandable language
  • Community Involvement: We will make a positive contribution to our communities as individuals and through our companies.
Isn't this a good thing for America in the long run?  In the bigger picture, isn't this the place a person like Tim Pawlenty should be?

Our current administration is being surrounded by their own lies, missteps and videotape.  They refuse to tell the truth about nearly everything.   And thank heaven, it is all on tape  -- every word, every correction, every misguided interpretation of madness and chaos around the  world, every insistence that there is nothing to fear but fear itself with regard to the Muslim Brotherhood.

And the reality is, the oval village is under stealth guard; this administration is being protected within and all around by way of the media jungle.

Just look at how many times the media has had to reshuffle the narrative on Libya's attack upon our ambassador alone; was it planned, was it spontaneous, were the marines armed with ammo, did the attackers use the very weapons we gave to "the rebels" -- was it planned, spontaneous, protected, armed, forewarned, duly noted, botched from start to finish?  The world may never know if this administration has it's way.

But make no mistake, the media is angling to save a presidency from a ferocious opponent -- and they will say and seek and find and lie and manipulate everything to convince everybody not to change, to stay the course.

Are you kidding me?

Are you kidding me?

If America re-elects Barack Obama shame on us.  Shame on us.

What is ridiculous is that we voted for this guy four years ago.  Let's talk about that.

Obama wants to reduce America's power to the level that is more fair and equitable with the rest of the world.   This will take destroying every single one of our power sectors....fiscal solvency (check)  cultural morals (check)  industry (check) patriotism (check)  self-reliance (check) -- leaving America in shambles and basically growing the people's dependency upon government, rather than build independence and liberty.

And what does the media want us to talk about -- oh, Pawlenty is leaving the camp -- that's a sign.  Sound the alarm, raise the white flag.

Here's something to concern yourselves with --

"I met with former head of Goldman Sachs, former head of federal reserve....as soon as we stop buying the debt, we're gonna have trouble [once we stop]...we are on borrowed time."

That's not  for just the top 10% -- that's not for just the top 1% of the greedy bastards lucky enough to be at the top and pay half the federal tax revenue -- it's not for just the bottom 47% who happen to not pay a dime in taxes.  It's gonna happen for journalists and the rich and famous alike.  It's gonna happen to all of us.

"we're just making it up....made up money...this is not gonna bode well for our economic future....bankruptcy usually concentrates the mind."

These foreboding words were on the same tape with the other 47%; this excerpt was captured off of Free Republic....go here for the full remarks.

So you all want something to talk about?  Let's talk about this:  "bankruptcy usually concentrates the mind."

The thing is:  Romney seems to be the only grown up elephant in the room.

And the rest of us have to buck up.  This is going to be one dart thrown and spit back out after another until the savages are finished with him.

This is not the time to buckle under the pressure or cave to the ignorance of the masses.

We just need to stick together, recognize we are at a tipping point as a nation, and stay put.

The structure is sound.  The foundation was laid two centuries ago.  The cornerstone is in it's proper place. We have nothing to fear at all.

Some republicans just need a little voodoo course correction; while for some republicans, the thin skinned and weak, should simply opt for hibernation until it's over;  leaving the remaining Romney reinforcements to counter attack with firm resolve and unwavering conviction.

Especially in politics -- MOST of what we hear is a manipulation of a moment -- and all of us are at liberty to pick and choose what we take away from it; all of us have a responsibility to unearth the whole story and make our own conclusions and clear away the bull.

But shame on you if you just bend over to the prevailing sentiment that Mitt is going down and it's all but over.   Most of it is warped, time-released propaganda filling your mind with false-truths and mis-characterizations, making us believe dumb things -- dual campaigns running against both Romney and America.      It never fails to amaze me, the media just loves to mock rock.

Or hell, we can just continue to run the course; surely bankruptcy will finally concentrate the mind.

Live for the truth.

Live to prevail through yet another time in America's history that tests us to our core.

Ignore the media green machine pumping out enough smoke and mirrors and make believe to make you sick,  smudging the boundaries of what is real and what is Memorex only to re-elect a total fraud [entire biography of the last twenty years, cut and re-distributed at liberty are on YouTube daily and ready for your review].

You know, arguing with idiots is never an easy task -- but when we are forced to go up against even some of our own -- it's a travesty of the worst kind.  Get a hold of yourselves out there --- for I never want to be put in this position again, little old g just can't take much more of it.

Make it a Good Day, G

And to help you get through
this remarkable day in the life,
pack plenty of provisions with you:
THE PATRIOT POST:

*  Unbelievable News Coming out of Pakistan *
Apparently, on Pakistani TV -- we have "paid content" making further apologies to the Muslim world...Carrying the seal of the US Embassy and everything -- even using both Hillary and Obama to make amends -- we gravel for forgiveness.   See this from CBS.  Two questions come to mind 1) what the hell did that cost?  2) who the hell did we make the check out to?  Other than that, did we fall down a rabbit hole?   Have psychedelics been secretly added to my water?  Is there another realm I can slip into right about now?

Thursday, April 7, 2011

Dear America,

the media can create whatever reality they want to create.

case in point, the last 24 hours over the Glenn Beck story...as in, "Beck was a quick burn..." words distributed by the AP within minutes; building up to a "Fairwell to a Fearmonger," which is funny considering it came out of The Daily Beast.

case in the second point, the "no light between" meeting up with John Boehner --  brought to light by ABC, and basically insinuating he must be getting water boarded by the Tea Party to comply with their demands...or else.

Keep it up lamestream.  Keep it up.

Yes, the guy who anchors the THIRD Highest Rated cable news show (otherwise known as THE Glenn Beck) will be transitioning later this year into a new realm of broadcasting.  It's TRUE!  Everybody is ecstatic about it.  But if you only read lamestream, then you would think Fox News took Beck out back, buried him up to the boot on the neck and began stoning him, with Soros invited to throw in the first stone.

But that is the media for you, they just can't help themselves; the counterclockwise spin is embedded into their DNA -- that is merely my observation, anyway...of course, after making reasonable connections, applying scientific backup, factoring in my own CSI experiments, and finding the fingerprints left on each stone turned myself.  look it up.

Oooooh and Harry said, Boehner is "afraid" of the movement.

and Chuckie said, "[ref to Tea People] ...they're the people who say they don't want compromise. They're the people who say they relish a shutdown. And the bottom line is, if he can resist them—not give them their way on everything—I think we can have an agreement..."  you go ahead and run with scissors with that Schumer.

ABC laid it all out...with George Stephanopoulos poking Boehner with provocative claims "[Dem's say] you won't buck the tea party" -- huh, huh, whatta gotta say about that, huh Johnny?  Now give me your milk money.

I watched the president return to the podium in the briefing room after meeting with Reid and Boehner.  It was late.  He looked tired.  And what does he do?  But for the lack of a better analogy, he pulls a Palin; he should have just kept his mouth shut and just gone upstairs to bed.  He should have just let it be.

But approaching the press with something he could not hide -- a worn out look on his face -- he began to to say things like...

"We just had a productive meeting...
 We discussed the impasse...
with respect to the budget...
the meetings were frank,
they were constructive,
and what they did was narrow the issues
and clarify the issues that are still outstanding.
I remain confident
that if we're serious
about getting something done
we should be able to complete a deal
and get it passed
and avert a shutdown.
But it's going to require
a sufficient sense of urgency
from all parties involved.
It means that people have to recognize
that a government shutdown
has real consequences for real people."
...I'm absolutely convinced that we can get this done."

Obama, late, Wednesday Night
somebody wake me up when he's done...
why did he even come out?

he gave us nothing new...he didn't even make us feel very confident in the process...and throwing in a worn out strategy, telling a random story about a random citizen who might be adversely affected.  Nice fluff but it didn't make it anymore presidential or newsworthy (and by appearances, not even his own heartstrings seemed to be all that into it).
Give it a rest already, Mr. President - - the over saturation of the market is unbecoming and somewhat uncomfortable watching; and time and time again, I don't know how you do it, but somehow your arrogance precedes you in nearly every official capacity -- and that isn't a good thing.

Leadership is not passing judgment and condescension down the ranks.
Leadership is not belittling the "quibbling" over the people's dollars and common sense.
Leadership is not ridiculing the opposition when in front of the smaller... safer... perhaps potentially pliable voter audiences.
Leadership is not status quo -- voting present -- just showing up -- and otherwise avoiding taking a stand on exactly that which YOU said YOU would do when YOU came to WASHINGTON (do you remember the old refrain, "I will go line by line...I will cut the deficit by half in four years...").
You keep saying to everybody 'it's not that complicated' -- that it's clearly 'not about me -- but about you guys, over there, not doing what you need to be doing'...
acting more like the parent who says, 'do as I say not as I do'...YOU don't stop there.  YOU grind it all home with that protruding thumb of yours from the podium, 'let's be grown ups...it's what the american people want...can't you guys just play like adults'?
How about a game of pin the tail on the donkey?  anyone?

Interesting slate of numbers over the last several years, most startling is the reality of today against the promises of yesterday; using a blog from PolitiFacts, the last couple of thoughts highlight this stunner:
"To the contrary, the CBO projects the running total of the country's national debt — which was around $7 trillion when Obama took office — will increase to nearly $12 trillion in four years"
hello, anybody paying attention?  So Obama has not only NOT CUT the deficits by half  -- but he has DOUBLED our National Debt! (and with time left on the clock...joy joy)
Today, we are well over the conservative CBO projection on the National Debt by over TWO T's.
Taking this into account, along with the Obama Administration making a mockery of it's own plan to "cut deficits by half before the end of his first term" -- suffice it to say, we only wish we were running Bushie's Billion dollar deficits.  Doomsday and fearmongers unite on principle and panic, for we are headed into another straight year of seeing red to the tune of TRILLIONS, not billions.
but you go ahead, call me crazy.  see if I care, na na nana na.  sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.

And since I am having so much fun with myself this morning, how about we take a poll:

It's called Pick the Shutdown:  A.  Football   B. The Fed

indeed.
and how sad would it be if the 2011-2012 NFL season was canceled?

On a totally different note, Jamie Oliver, the Brit running around trying to redo our school lunches, was apparently shunned by LA (wonders never cease).  In any event, Oliver's response, a recipe right out of Alinsky's rules said this, "[that's cool] you only have to affect 2% of the population to make radical change."

Two percent.

Now whether that is a truth or a dare, the idea that it takes simply a nudge to create real change is very real.  This administration proves it everyday.  The nudges come by way of propaganda, regulations, moratoriums, ridiculing, mocking, judicial activism, DOJ's operating above the law, mainstream media married to the mob mentality -- for solidarity, you know -- for the good of the country, and all...

case in the third point
"All of this means one thing:
the only way for America’s energy supply
to be truly secure
is by permanently reducing
our dependence
on oil."
Obama,
New Age Energy Speech
March 2011
Obama is crystal clear.  It is not about our dependence on foreign oil that is in the way, it is OIL itself. With 70% of our consumption going for transportation, that is a whole lot of nudging going on.

And let's have a reality bites moment:  all it takes is a look at how we live our lives to know better.  The number of trucks that deliver our food and goods to stores --  the number of SUV's that drive the car pools --  the number of sports cars -- that may go to zero to hero in sixty seconds, but overall, don't they just blow a whole lot of gas out of a two-seater for nothing?  Isn't it all for show and tell?  We love our cars (and our car choice more).
And really, how could we RV, or take long summer road trips down back roads and country lanes in a cramped, midsized four door, if we have to get off the juice? Anyone fathom to guess how unrealistic traveling with solar panels is --  or how difficult it would be having to go from electrical jump to jump in a timely fashion, and calculating every move we make?
I would like to think we could make a car that runs on sugar, too. But really?
Especially considering I don't believe for half a second that we are being told half the truth surrounding oil in general; so, are we just supposed to trust a system created around OPEC, speculation, investment, and return on the dollar of sheiks and billionaires and the power elite?  Is that it?
Not to mention, times Have CHANGED -- do we really trust the world wide oil reserve calculations?  Have we not already improved and innovated our way further down the road enough to think that what may have been out of the question then, is now very much a possibility now?  Does the end of the question and answer period start before we even begin nowadays?

The thing is, this morning, I want real journalism to find it's way back.  If I want opinion, let me choose to go to that opinion, but force feeding me garbage, as if I have no brain to think for myself, packaged up in neat and tidy assumptions, masquerading as unbiased journalism, pulleeze.  That is simply wrong.

Doesn't Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, George Stephanopoulos, Brian Williams, want America to live within it's means? Do they not see the writing on the wall like the rest of us?  Are they seriously okay with running trillion dollar deficits, and doubling our debt before the decade is done? Don't they welcome diversity of opinion as much as the next guy?  Isn't it reasonable to believe not everyone has all the answers, whether left or right?  Isn't it time the mainstream media made a pinkie promise to the other half of Americans they seem too quick to chastise in some way, shape or form, every night of the week?

Glenn Beck leads a show that is the THIRD highest rating in cable news, with good reason; Boehner leads a House of Representatives from left to right to center, with a passion (if also a few tears).
Obama leads in what?
Penalizing American oil companies,
Regulating our lives,
Mocking public displays of disgust over unlimited government spending,
Formally criticizing Israel and the building of settlements,
Extinguishing America's Free Market,
Devaluing our American Dollar,
Upending the best health care system in the world,
Suing the state of Arizona and siding with Illegal Immigrants,
Siding with Unions, over Americans, in Wisconsin,
Siding with treating some terrorists like Americans, and some Americans, like terrorists.
Siding with democracy in Egypt, but not in Iran --
Supplying "humanitarian support" in Libya, but not in Ivory Coast.
NOT taking a serious stand against our deficits, national debt, and holding Congress to the fire.
NOT going line by line and making honest to goodness cuts.
NOT cutting the deficit by half (yet) (not even close).
in other words, he leads in waffling on every single principle and value we, in America, hold dear.

the list could go on forever.
and yet, none of it will be on ABC (at least, not in the way the story should be told).

Make it a Good Day, G

really long winded today... and I'm really not sorry for any of it.

Friday, January 28, 2011

Dear America,

sweet hallelujah, it's Friday.

before the end of the day, may I recommend a long, hot bubble bath for all of us -- if possible, throw in a few rose petals  -- sip on a glass of chianti -- eat a bar of chocolate -- listen to a little BBKing -- or Sinatra or Sting -- no, make it Toni Braxton or  Tony Bennett...whatever...ya see, I'm so frazzled, I can't even figure out what music I need most.  Point is, just find the melody to move you into another world for just a moment or two, preferably twenty.

the message on this glorious, sunny San Diego day in America is simply, chill; whatever that looks like for you, however the way you must go, just get there, go there, do everything you can in this day to bring yourself to the chill point...today... before the day is through.

We are so incredibly touchy; we are so hopped up on hopping on someone else -- whether it be by character assassination, corporate culture annihilation, social justice justification, or just because they looked at us funny -- we have seemed to have lost our ability to communicate effectively and reasonably and intelligently -- unless you think that looks like beginning with a law suit, slander, incivility or the unthinkable, damaging, visceral and flagrant attack without merit.

POLITICS

Not so amusing to watch, really, is watching someone like Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D - Ohio) sue the company he works for -- seeking damages from a government cafeteria for an olive pit that wreaked havoc in his mouth, to the tune of $150 grand. Hello, this is really suing the American people, all the rest of us.  really?  funny stuff, if it weren't for the prevalence of the common knee-jerk refrain happening all over America today...just sue them falalala lala la....

And gotta love the full page ad -- marking a very public rebuttal -- for all the world to read -- from Taco Bell:

"THANK YOU FOR SUING US."
it begins.
classic.

Followed up with:
"Here's the truth about our seasoned beef..."
leading us down the path of
"the claims made against Taco Bell
and our seasoned beef are absolutely false...
Plain ground beef is boring...
So here are the REAL percentages...
[and] In case your curious,
here's our not-so-secret recipe."

"we stand behind the quality
of our seasoned beef 100%
and we are proud to serve it in all our restaurants.
We take any claims to the contrary
very seriously
and plan to take legal action
against those who have made false claims
against our seasoned beef."
Greg Creed
President, Taco Bell

Do you know what was on the other side
of this full page ad in our local U-T?
A full page ad from Walmart.

Working Together
For San Diego
"At Walmart, we take every opportunity to be a good neighbor
and to invest in long-term solutions to help the communities that we serve.

That is why we are announcing a new effort in the City of San Diego..."

Why do they have to do this, you ask?

Because there has been an uprising against a proposed Walmart Super Store, even in spite of the dismal economic environment here, with unemployment continuing to hang at over 10%; while the unions are a bit tweaked, too, getting their made in china, 'workers of the world unite,' panties all up in a wad...quickly rectifying rules for radicals tactics-- believing if they do this long enough, surely they will just go away.

But Walmart is hardly standing down.  No, it has only fueled their cause -- they are more committed than ever -- and will not falter -- for their intention is on one thing, and one thing only -- to grow their business, building a dozen stores in the San Diego market alone, create approximately "1,400 jobs", paying "competitive wages", encouraging "the use of minority contractors and local suppliers", developing charitable partnerships valued at "$8 million that will work to eradicate hunger, increase workforce development and sustainability."

Two full page ads fighting back with a vengeance for their cause, all the while the American way is being threatened.

ENTERTAINMENT

And by the way, whatever the perceived rift between tea party candidates/constituency and "the right" -- you all better walk back, jack.  Once again, the mainstream media is manufacturing propaganda without a cause; sure, there are plenty of opinions flying left and right about characterizing the Tea Party as simply activists, out to stir up trouble, shake things up, invoking their opinion -- and interfering so,  the audacity really, syndicating a certain Michele Bachmann rebuttal to the president's SOTU address "without permission" no less -- oh my, so  bad. naughty naughty.

can you feel me now, can you get the sarcasm...if not, then you are missing my drift entirely.

Now Megan McCain is entitled to say whatever she wants; these days, she seems to be a publicity monger in her own little way too -- go for it, it's a free country; however, what was it you said about Bachmann, she's "a poor man's Sarah Palin..."

wow
without commenting on how many things I find wrong with that kind of statement, let me just say, given it is coming from a girl living off of her daddy's name right now, it is pretty funny.

Well, Megan, hate to break it to you, but conventional thinking is so yesterday's politics; that has only led us down a path of progressive policy, middle of the road compromise, taking a real stand for nothing, while spending the people's money on everything, and only arriving at final destination  with nothing to show for it but unsustainable deficits and a mountain of debt in our way. (Newsflash, God love his patriotism,  but your father ranks high in this regard -- or would that be low -- perception is everything you know)

Not to mention the itty bitty detail that... Bachmann was asked by the Tea Party for a response!

Her webcast was totally unrelated and separate from the official GOP rebuttal, which we have already discussed here on G before, was a pretty brilliant and well articulated response, by the fine gentleman from Wisconsin, Paul Ryan.

But before the night was through, it was the manipulation of the story, to create a story, via the mainstream media  headlining the lie; the sole perpetrators for creating this make-believe firestorm lies within the left wing media, along with the help of people like you, Megan; everyone is just trying to sell news -- or make news -- or manufacture news (feel free to substitute lies for news at any time)

OBITUARIES

At first glance, this may seem like a contradiction before the end of the sentence is through, but whatever happened to the more, the merrier, here in the good ole US of A?

When did our differences begin to define us louder than our commonalities?

We don't all listen to the same music;
We don't all believe in the same religion;
We don't all wear the same uniform, the same perfume, the same experiences, or the same political ideology on our sleeve.

Piggy-backing on the ad from Taco Bell, how boring would that be?!

We used to celebrate our differences and practice finding our common ground with respect -- even in the middle of staunch political debate.

Where oh where did that spirit go?

My best answer is that it has morphed into a society that tells all, bares all, and loses it all on television, in the paper, on the net with no holds barred. We value letting the fur fly right now, even if that makes us look crazy, or go mad, in the process. Nothing is off limits -- while nothing is sacred, either. hell, if my fifteen minutes of fame doesn't make me a millionaire, maybe I'll find someone or something to sue  OR write a book [addressing the walking into fountain girl featured on YouTube, dennis kucinich the menace, and the Taco Bell/Walmart/CorpUSA antagonize-rs, and the It girl in Megan McCain, all in one fell swoop with the ink).

PERSONALS

As evident by the November elections, to make fun of the Bachmann's or the Palin's of this world would be a mistake; for these are two selfless, patriotic, conservative women who are hardly afraid of stepping into the fray.  Moreover, as the polls seem to show over and over and over again, like old news already, they just so happen to speak directly to the best interests of the majority, in this here United States of America; they speak to the plain old simple folk -- the sixty-six percent of us who do not mindlessly follow the left leaning media. Call us a big ground round of ground beef if you must,  it don't matter, having been fully seasoned with the secret recipe -- we are ready to meet our maker or the frying pan, whichever comes first.

Bring it; cuz this country's got issues, lots of them -- and clearly, we are no longer afraid of talking about them, spilling them all over our bad self, or showing them off in front of millions and millions of people. it might get ugly; the worst of it may not be over.

the good news is, at least we are still speaking to one another, right?
sorry we didn't make time for world news -- in a nutshell, it's all going to hell in a handbasket...

what's that song, is anybody really listening? does anybody really know what time it is? does anybody really care?   hmmmmm let's hum a little on that thought.

Time to throw on some tunes, I need to be chillin' like villin' like right now.
what's this...
oooh yeah, talk to me...
I believe a bath is calling me by name -- which, after long deliberation, will be with extra bubbles, without rose petals, and a three finger shot of whiskey straight up...and listening to whatever Music Choice is playing on the 70's station.  let the good times roll. Bottoms up, ya'll, and I'm not even southern.

Make it a Good Day, G

Dear America,

If you follow G you know that G's been following Flash Forward on ABC Thursday's.

Last night incorporated one thing that struck me as a hmmm that's interesting moment, that being the realization that the flash itself hit America hard, while China...hardly at all.  Having said that, I'm only that much more intrigued to see where the show takes America from here...does she go down in a ring of fire or does she rise like a Phoenix out of the ashes.

Of course, every motivational speaker worth a mortgage to go see uses the terminology of the old Chinese translation of what does crisis truly mean:  chaos meeting opportunity.

Now as we have seen before in this current administration, according to the book of Rahm,
So what he's really saying here is we have an opportunity for a crisis to enlighten us, or allow it to get even worse, in essence bending over to allow for government to sweep in and fix things, whether it is with a mop or big stick, who really cares by the looks of things on national TV.

As on top of the in-house intimidation within the rank and file -- along with the ability for this administration to control most of the media and the message like a puppet -- Americans have essentially had the democratic process erased right before our eyes.  The only "true" reactions from Americans, the only "real" news stories, the only "acceptable" newscasters, the only questions we want to answer are found through mainstream media outlets; as only ABCBS, CBS, NBCBS and even CNN (and sometimes BS) are considered speaking the truth.  That is according to the knee jerk reactions of the White House, which continues to be whining about the one station committed to offering a fair and balanced news without falling victim to the antics of intimidation by the current yahoos in office. Aside from the star power commentators advocating a more serious conservative reshaping of America, the news itself on FOX is the same as any other station.

My question to everyone in the White House is have you actually watched FOX for a day?  It's a rhetorical question as I know the answer; for if you did watch it, you would not be reacting to it in the way that you are.  Don't you know your reactions fuel more interest?  And why is it so threatening to listen to the other side's point of view once in awhile?  You do realize that the numbers haven't changed -- while half of America loves you, the other half questions every move you make; just as it was for the eight years of Bush, do you really think Hardball played badminton all day with the Dubbya, I think not.

Dubbya's reaction, NADA.
Obama's reaction, well then I'm not going to play with you anymore, wahhhhhhh.

No, it was more like, "away with you" -- immediately throwing Fox News out of the pool; as in yesterday's rather arrogant decision to cut off Fox News from jumping into the deep end -- apparently implementing the latest governmental media regulation.  The interview with Kenneth Feinberg announcing the cannonball deal struck by this Pay Czar to regulate the paychecks of the big boys of Wall Street -- which as you know paychecks now courtesy of Uncle Sam you and me -- the community pool was closed to Fox.

But what happened, the cool kids actually stood up for the nerd and said, if you don't let him in then we won't play with you either.  Wonders never cease.

What is disturbing though, is the element of through any means possible to control what we hear in the news by this White House, whether it be through intimidation, demonizing, inaccessibility, or ignoring the contrary views altogether -- and this should rock the world of all Americans, not just the conservatives and libertarians.

Honestly, are you that threatened by one little station who asks questions; God help you if The Fox Channel starts to get real competition, giving birth to little TV Talk Radio offshoots  -- we could have a whole slew of conservative television to choose from, maybe changing the view ever so slightly with The Land of Liberty TV News or the FreeAMERICA Channel or quite simply CONSERVATIVE TV MSnoBS. Then what would you do?

Newsflash, We the People still run under the rule of law and will do anything to uphold our liberties by way of speaking up and questioning authority.  What seems to be the real issue for you, Mr. Obama et.al, is not so much the action, but in the message itself  -- any time we run counter to your new regime.  Well, I got news for you, you -- the powers at be -- should listen while you still have a chance.   A real bipartisan, operating within our means Washington is still achievable; or you will soon get the message loud and clear in the polls, leaving it too late for the opportunity for a dignified response.

Your are right about this; we wanted change.  We wanted a change we could believe in, which is why you are there in the first place; but you are either forgetting or never really knew what we wanted to change.  It wasn't just the face of Washington, that's cosmetic.  We wanted a brand new Washington -- oh yeah, we got that.

Alright, let me try again, what we wanted was a Washington minus the corruption and the free-wheeling and dealing of a government gone bad.

Which brings me to the one person that just might have been able to pull if off.

It won't be long now before we can catch the reaction of someone who upended the liberals and electrified the conservatives in last year's election -- Sarah Palin.  Talk about creating mass hysteria; and the mainstream media and MSNBC and Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson had a field day frolicking over the never ending ways they could make her life miserable.  Unbelievable.

And it's not like the media really matters, but the lefty's and progressives can't even give it a rest for one day, as they have pulled together a collaboration of annihilation of their own, set to unveil the same day as Sarah's memoir; set with eery similarities and a cover designed to nail the coffin shut in Going Rouge...Sarah Palin, An American Nightmare.  Now just who is responsible for that as I want to shake their hand, well done, touche, way to go showing how weak you people really are.

Don'cha know the highest form of flattery is by way of the mirror, you silly little copycats you...awww that's just so sweet. Does she have your panties in a wad that much?  Does she make your skin tingle all up and down the legs like Chris Matthews, but in a bad way?  Awwww you gotta get ahold of yourselves - don'cha know ya never wanna let 'em to see you sweat...

Well, most of us conservatives know what the real cover looks like and we will buy the real thing:
SARAH PALIN - GOING ROGUE - An American Life

As we know the real thing when we see it.

Attempts to discredit usually always fall flat; hence, the outcry of conservatives reverberating right back to the big White House in a chorus of we are the world of 'No Fear'; Fox is fearless for all the right reasons, while Sarah will most likely surprise the living daylights out of us.

I can hardly wait.

Make it a Good Day, G

I realize I was all set to start a conversation of Mao, Che, Castro...but just the thought of the rogue dictators forced me into an overthrow of my own making, I couldn't help myself. Just a little blogger coup d'etat of sorts.

Last flash of light before I leave, goes out to the new regime.
It's not about you...
It's what is in AMERICA's best interests.
That's it.
BING.
