which explains why this collusion hoax, and all that came with, has turned into a 34 MILLION dollar nothing burger on a platter, a patter splattered with nothing more than a vendetta against the incoming president of the United States.  Making more than 300 MILLION Americans served up a complete, and utter, embarrassment.   It should go down as one of the worst crimes against sanity ever.

It's also organized harassment, and more generally recognized as bullying.

It's also, a dereliction of duties, with regards to the lack of follow-through on the actual evidence of election interference by a foreign government from the opposition party, and previous administration, under President Obama.    

It's also conspiracy between the Deep State, the FBI, many high echelon Obama officials (if not Obama, himself) with regard to setting up the entire hoax in the first place.   

They just couldn't believe he had won.

Nothing from Nothing leaves Nothing, even if it's capitalized by deplorable action, on multiple fronts, in concert with only one idea -- impeachment, in every possible form, of a sitting president. 

It's a complete nuclearized, super sized, gastronomic mess; and surprisingly, rather disgracefully, it's still warm -- there's still signs of life left in this nonsense!    Can you even believe that?   (Speaking of astonishing things and burgers,  just love this story ....almost as much as I love In-N-Out.)

But let's be clear, alright,

Bear in mind, the Senate Intelligence report, linked above in The Hill post, notes:

"The Senate report says the investigation found no evidence any vote tallies were changed, vote-tallying systems manipulated or voter registration data changed or deleted..."

which, of course, is not new news -- we have known this all along.

SO if in fact  no votes have been changed, which we have known all along, Trump was elected president without collusion, interference, of any kind.

Even Mueller -- appearing like death warmed over -- couldn't say there was collusion.  

For what it's worth, this post @ Vox  [narrowing things down to 5 Losers and No winners]  isn't a bad read on the matter....BUT, not surprisingly, the review of where things stand --  sans Mueller's day in the hot seat --  decidedly neglected to show a nice flow chart on the opposition party involvement, the faces of those responsible for creating and circulating the false dossier, which led to the FISA judgement, arriving on a silver platter through actions of collusion with the Russians by the Hillary Clinton campaign!   There is that.  

Nothing from Nothing leaves Nothing -- especially if it's capitalized by partisan manipulation of what amounts to nothing more than a false narrative right from the start.

This government wastes more money on crap...OR read this, from Dave Ramsey -- just takes three minutes.  OR read this one, it's got pictures, from MSN.

and still -- over twenty TRILLION dollars in debt.  Where's the heated discussion about that reality, CONGRESS?  

Visualizing this hot mess is where it's at.

This is what should stop our hearts and ring the alarm.

Our debt is something so outrageous, no one gives it the time of day.  It's too abstract, too out there, too it's not my problem...let's kick this can down the road to the next generation.

Sure, paying down debt is not fun for anyone; there is that.   

But continuously doing nothing about it ultimately creates bankruptcy, because nothing from Twenty Trillion dollars leaves Twenty Trillion dollars collecting interest, and on and on and on.   While all the while, continuing to spend more money than we make -- whether upon frivolous things like 'the secrets of college drinking' or 'studying glaciers from a feminist perspective'  to funding our military to secure and protect the American people and the sovereignty of this beautiful nation, which, in other words, is the ONE thing the Federal Government is mandated to do per the Constitution....eventually, something, as in many things, has gotta give.  And give bigly.  very very bigly.

This is why all this new chatter about the latest, greatest version of socialism on a social platter, serving billions of dollars to millions of Americans, is the real issue for this upcoming presidential election.  

If socialism wins next time around, nothing good will come of it.  Nothing.

It's Hail to the Chief's Tempered and Measured Response Thing

Dear America,

.. I asked, how many will die. 150 people, sir, was the answer from a General. 10 minutes before the strike I stopped it, not ... proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone. I am in no hurry, our Military is rebuilt, new, and ready to go, by far the best in the world," Trump said. "Sanctions are biting & more added last night. Iran can NEVER have Nuclear Weapons, not against the USA, and not against the WORLD!"

and people are saying that Iran struck the drone in retaliation to the US pulling out of the Iran Nuclear fraud... to which former NSC Chief of Staff, Fred Frietz, said this:

"That is a fraudulent argument. We don't stay in an agreement because the other party threatens to respond with violence. The president has responded with restraint. He has given [Iran] an opportunity to deescalate the situation, and I think he handled it right today."

and only last week, Tehran is allegedly responsible for the attack on the two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman.

but just look at this president -- yet again -- respond in tempered and measured ways.

and I like how he phrased it -- softening any assumptions of intentions -- “I would imagine it was a general or somebody who made a mistake by shooting that drone down,” Trump said during an Oval Office meeting Thursday with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. “I find it hard to believe it was intentional. It could have been somebody who was loose and stupid.”

This president is on America's side.

This president continues to act accordingly, and yet, will the media ever rise to the level of respect this president deserves?

Now -- this girl knows full well, this president is not perfect.  But make no mistake, this president's heart is always in the right place.  He loves his country -- our country -- America.

Obama hated America while president, he spent eight years transforming her from foundation to cupola.

Need a few facts--

Although not covering his entire two terms, THIS is a really good review -- going back to 2013 (five years into the Obama Administration) and written by Victor Davis Hanson for National Review.

Like many things that happened under the care of the Obama Administration, Obama was in a position to control the narrative, and that has made all the difference.  And maybe, he didn't need to control a thing -- you know, given his situation that lends itself to being given a pass; you know, when in reality you have an entire media who's got your back.

Although his reflections on race relations during the first five of Obama's years are sound, Victor Davis Hanson neglected to call out the Black Lives Matter protests by name.

Like immigration, the media supports a certain viewpoint.  It leans left.

But the truth is, the facts don't line up all neat and tidy so much...And surprise, surprise, even the Washington comPost couldn't do much about it:

The Post’s reporting shows that both the annual number and circumstances of fatal shootings and the overall demographics of the victims have remained constant over the past four years. 

The dead: 45 percent white men; 23 percent black men; and 16 percent Hispanic men. 

Women have accounted for about 5 percent of those killed, and people in mental distress about 25 percent of all shootings. 

About 54 percent of those killed have been armed with guns and 4 percent unarmed.

To be clear, the Post only began tracking after the Michael Brown shooting, in 2014.  And yet, for the last four years, the numbers have been consistent -- roughly 1000 people are shot by police each year.  And based on those numbers, the Post came to these startling conclusions and stats.

Now, I've never been in a police altercation -- I've been pulled over for rolling through a stop sign, but that's about the height of it.  Even then, I was nervous reaching to get my proof of insurance.  It is an intimidating situation...and during the whole ten minutes at the curb, awaiting his check for outstanding warrants and what not, I tried to politely speak my case.  But he would have none of it.  I went to court to fight it, and he didn't even bother to show up. Ticket ripped up, boom.

But the point is, police are confronted with all kinds of humanity all the live long day.

It is interesting to note that women account for only 5 percent of those killed by police.  Is that because we are generally more polite to authority?  Or could it be that women are less likely to be bad actors in the first place?  Who knows.

But I digress.

Instead of Barack Obama making any improvements in race relations, he took America backwards, and made us all the more divided -- as he emphasized our differences, not our commonality.  He also made no attempt to talk to all citizens in the art of being good citizens, no matter from kindergarten to our death.

He lost such an opportunity for a few civic lessons along the way.

It's simple stuff really -- things like 'go to school'  'do your homework'  'respect your parents'  'respect your children'  'don't do drugs'  'get a job'  'dress appropriately'  'open doors for people'  'read books'  'pick up trash'  'don't litter in the first place'   'salute the flag'  'follow the rules'  'follow the law'  'don't break the law in the first place'  'immigrate to America by standing in line with everyone else'  'don't attempt to illegally cross America's border in the first place'   and on and on we could go.

let's get back to policy undomestic, shall we?

Victor Davis Hanson said this back in 2013, regarding Obama's transformation of America's foreign policy --

Foreign policy. What is the common theme to the euphemisms about terrorism and radical Islam, the failed reset with Russia, withdrawal from Iraq, confusion in Afghanistan, lead-from-behind in Libya, pink lines and pseudo–“game changers” in Syria, the faux deadlines with Iran, mesmerization with Turkey, peace feelers to Nicaragua, Cuba, and Venezuela, as well as the rhetorical tropes found in the Cairo speech, the U.N. addresses, and the Al-Arabiya interview?

Just as, in Obama’s worldview, the 1 percent exercise undue influence in the United States, so too abroad America has exercised exceptional power and influence that either are not warranted by its traditions and history, or do not contribute to stability and social justice in the world at large. Fundamentally transforming the role of the U.S. means tilting toward countries that are suspicious of the Western tradition, and favoring groups and countries like Turkey, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Palestinians that have supposedly legitimate grievances against the United States. The goal? Probably, the transformation of the U.S. into something like the EU, whose democratic socialism is manifested abroad with soft-power lectures.

The truth is -- the Obama Administration is more to blame for the current climate around the globe.  His entire foreign policy was based upon capitulation, from making blanket apologies in the Middle East, to bowing to Iran's calculated negotiations, allowing for the nonsense we bear witness to today.

and just look how tempered and measured this girl can be, taking in this long look in the rear-view mirror without incident of the f-bomb kind.   oh me oh my, detecting a wee bit of growth, eh?

It's the Corner of Lunacy and Solvency Thing

Now, to piggy-back upon an advertising campaign from Walgreens... 'at the corner of happy and healthy' -- or is it healthy and happy -- guess the intersection America has landed?

 

 

Here's a hint...

 

commenting upon the bureaucratic hot mess that is the nation's disability program, now at a whopping 135 Billion dollars a year, and set to be out of money in a few years, the general response is something like, half the country is outraged, while the other half wonders 'where do I sign up for benefits.'

And it is wrought with fraud, to say the least; a perfect storm, fifty years in the making, to say the most.

 

While many things seem to be getting grayer by the minute, many other things are just black and white.  

 

Now, let me lead you to a column from Thomas Sowell -- the brilliant mind that he is,  gives us a matter of fact, on the record response, of Who Shut Down the Government, here. 

And then again, here's a thought (and brought to us via Michael Barone, via The Patriot Post):

"The problem was caused by James Madison. And by the 39 other men who signed the Constitution in 1787. The problem, of course, is the government shutdown. It was caused because the Framers of the Constitution wisely provided for separation of powers among the three branches of government. The president would faithfully execute the laws and be commander in chief of the military, but both houses of Congress would have to approve of every penny the government could spend."

As the second week of the "government shutdown" begins, we are quickly reminded of the corner of lunacy and solvency meeting somewhere in Washington, most likely at the intersection of behind closed doors and impromptu photo ops.

 

Has anyone looked at the Debt Clock lately?

 

Considering our "debt limit" is 16.69 Trillion dollars -- how is it that the U.S. Debt Clock, in real time, is barreling to 17 T's and in this second is at about 16.966 Trillion?  Cast your eyes to the real thing here.

 

So upon this happy Monday -- put together the information stream that is at your fingertips, please!  Begin with 60 Minutes...find your way with Thomas Sowell...follow through with Byron York...and stop at the Debt Clock.  Just stop there, for a moment or two,  and realize the true GPS showing where America sits.  

America's global positioning is shifting right under our feet. It's a battle between the have's and the have-nots, and turns self-reliance and independence and freedom against each other and into a fallacy -- at least, that is what seems to be driving both behind the wheel and rational of this new America...

but what do I know, I'm just a girl standing on the same corner with the rest of you.

It's Time to Kick the Tires Not the Can Thing

Dear America,

good day.
So this girl is in the midst of reading a book I normally wouldn't give a second glance; it's called, The Things They Carried, by Tim O'Brien.  It's a genuine, heart-wrenchingly raw, look back at a time that seemingly stood still for him, the time of the Vietnam War when he was a soldier. 

Early on, he makes the following realization:

"But the thing about remembering is that you don't forget.  You take your material where you find it, which is in your life, at the intersection of past and present.  The memory-traffic feeds into a rotary up on your head, where it goes in circles for a while, then pretty soon imagination flows in and the traffic merges and shoots off down a thousand different streets.  As a writer, all you can do is pick a street and go for a ride, putting things down as they come to you.  That's the real obsession.  All the stories."

As 'just a girl' who just so happens to relate to this process -- to "pick a street and go for a ride" each and every day (give or take a day or two) -- O'Brien puts into simple words the level of congestion, everyday traffic, we all bring into the mix of living in community with one another.  We all have life experiences, a memory -- or too many to count; we all walk in reflection of this stuff, these things, all our lives.  Sometimes it all becomes a weight so great, it spills out.  Constructively, creatively, violently, spontaneously, cognitively  -- we let the rubber meet the road and it all comes raging up from deep inside us.

For "the thing about remembering is that you don't forget."

 Me thinks that the remembering isn't so bad at all, really, especially when placed into the context of the things we deliberately, or unintentionally, choose to forget.   What comes to mind are things like the Great Depression -- or -- the corruption and destruction of a whole society under the power of tyranny --  or -- how about the slow, nudging process of utter evil -- masterminded by crazy, narcissistic, sadistic madmen.   How could we ever forget what has happened around the world under Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Castro, Mao, Ayatollah Khomeini, Gaddafi, Idi Amin Dada,  Kim Jung IL...Ho Chi Minh?

How is it possible that any of these bad seeds of humanity had any followers, comrades, developing armies of men, bowing in allegiance to their cause?

And then I quickly come to attention of this day -- this country -- these things past and present weaving in and out of my mind, violently careening through the curves of the hills and valleys....atten-hut!

What are we doing to ourselves?  Is anyone asking intelligent questions anymore? Or is this game of kicking the can down the road until the day we all die together in puff of smoke, mirrors, lies and propaganda fun for you?

As I remember a winning tactic of Saul Alinsky --  certainly one that has been ingrained into the consciousness of a young Barack Obama at an age when he was merely an up and coming community organizer, awaiting his time of power to come -- "pick a target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it."  [and sure, this girl has been down this road with you before, shoot me]

But the thing is, conservatives in America keep getting riddled with tactics dating back hundreds of years -- the polarizing of the opposition, the compromising of our values, the methodical shape shifting of our communities -- even entire nations -- just by the use of words, making impressions upon us, respective of the laws of perception and totally aware of our natural human response.  This is how it begins; this is how we get to an intersection of Nazis killing Jews by the millions.

This president of ours is using dangerous, highly flammable, tactics at his every turn and whim; while this lame-brain media of ours just sits back and regurgitates his brilliance and intelligence and courage as if they have forgotten everything history has taught us.

We cannot afford to play economic roulette.

We cannot justify burying every value and principle that has made this country truly remarkable into the ground, without a memory living on and haunting us from this generation on into the next, and the next, and so on, begging us to ask a simple question: just where did we go wrong?

This president was given his tax hikes in late December, per his power to persuade and with congress under the gun for an end of the year deal -- now it's time for the spending cuts  (just as the compromise between political parties dictated).  All is fair in love and war, and not only that -- fair is fair.

If anything, these "cuts" are not nearly enough  (considering also, it's merely a "cut" in future government growth...thank you Rand Paul, CNN, and RealClearPolitics.  These cuts just slow the growth of government down from going 100 miles an hour to maybe 80; but in a school zone, that is about 55/mph too fast).

This 85 B's is called a starting place; the finish line is miles and miles and miles down the road.  And it's gonna be a rough ride from here on out, considering we have already totaled the brand spanking new hybrid car that wasn't even paid for yet.

You want some real time history, some instant message perspective -- while driving,  no less -- added to the scenery today?  How about this comparison to how this government SPENDS 85 BILLION DOLLARS a MONTH...and the kicker, it's created out of thin air, too.   [which isn't so funny when we borrow forty six cents on every dollar, details, schmeetails, nothing to see here, no sir ree bob]  ...........

......Oh no...DO NOT STOP now, we're just getting started.   This is not a drill!   GO HERE NOW.

Who is living a lie now?   And everybody is all excited about the market hitting five year highs...yeah, okay...

Do you get it now -- or no, not really?  Or, do you happen to like being a drone for this idiotic administration and the totally harmless madman behind the wheel?

It's About Communists Without Labels (or borders) Thing

Dear America,

you know The Naked Communist was written way back in the fifties.  Towards the end of the book, Skousen reports that " 'Communism' has become universally unpopular."  Going on to say, just the mere mention of the word sends a certain chill up the spine, sending anyone in their right mind running in the opposite direction, and most likely clothed, if not fully armored.

It's an entire chapter on the "Secret Weapon of Communism."

But it's when I read this, that my head bows in disgrace, shaking....for he asks a simple question:  "But how many Americans could recognize a Communist without his label?"

and feel free...substitute Marxist, or Socialist, or Fascist...as you like.

Noting Communism is primarily in the business of propaganda, it doesn't take much to indoctrinate the ignorant, the poor, the uneducated, the vulnerable.  What's not to love, "the idea of sharing the wealth appeals to the masses."   Naturally.

Which is funny, especially in light of what Skousen gives us to chew on next -- a quick reminder of what it's like between the have's and the have not's:

"[However] when the Communists took over in Russia you will recall that the first thing they did was impose upon the Russian people a form of economics which we got rid of back in the feudal days.  It is a system where a privileged few dispense the necessities of life to the serfs who work for them and rely upon them for protection and leadership."

oh you don't say?

but I digress.

Let's scroll back up a wee bit and settle in on the question again -- can we recognize a Communist without his label when we meet him?

Let me answer that for you.

That would be a no.

Skousen then bounces off the propaganda platform making four sound bullet points responsible for the cornerstones of Communism, going something like this (actually, it goes exactly like this...quoting directly from  The Naked Communist now, pp. 353-361):

• "Everything in existence came about as a result of ceaseless motion among the forces of nature -- everything is a product of accumulated accident.  There is no design.  There is not law.  There is no God.  There is only force, the force of nature.  Force is right, force is good, force is natural."  ...especially when it comes nudge by nudge...

• "Human beings are only graduate beasts -- and therefore human life is no more sacred that that of a centipede, a caterpillar or a pig. The completely reckless disregard for human life is the most striking, single characteristic of  'materialism in action'." ...and embracing the totally disposable human being beginning in the womb...

• "There is no such thing as innate right or wrong --  [quoting Skousen, quoting a Commie  leader  now]   ' To lie, is that wrong?  Not for a good cause.  To kill, is that wrong?  Not for a good cause.'  [adding the welcome translation]  We call that pragmatism -- that the end justifies the means."  aka the Chicago way...

• "That all religion must be overthrown because it inhibits the spirit of world revolution --  It was the feeling of Marx, Engels, and their fellow travelers that the deep spiritual convictions of the people hindered their acceptance of Communist philosophy and Communist rule.  It kept them from capturing the revolutionary spirit.   It kept them from lying and stealing and killing when leaders commanded it.  In other words, a card carrying Communist must carry on propaganda that fully supports Atheism.. hence, the reason for the about face through the progressive court system -- advocating and affirming the unconscionable, and unconstitutional,  attacks upon a basic human right -- religious freedom.

Stop:  what, pray tell, do these things remind you of?  who does this remind you of?
 
Skousen then tells a long story about a guy named Igor Gouzenko, who travels from Russia to Canada and finds a better life...la di la di la da...and after years of working from the inside, from Russia with love, with his vast array of knowledge he attempts to save Canada from an awful fate.  And no one believes him or trusts him, at first.   Short story even shorter, Canadians see the light and they also offer him protective custody (because he needed it!).

And immediately we get a few more nuggets of wisdom -- this time coming from Igor's perspective, when he points out what should be the obvious:  "there is a defect in your culture when your own people can grow up in your midst without gaining any appreciation of the difference between freedom and slavery, between idealism and atheism, between faith and doubt, or between order and chaos."

Describing the typical Communist convert --   Skousen asks us,

"can you just imagine yourself giving this reply:   ' I must confess that, in my heart of hearts, I do not believe that there is any God or Divine Intelligence guiding the human race.  Therefore, I suppose I should feel it my duty as one of the superior intelligences of my generation -- and for the sake of humanity -- to collaborate with your movement which is destined to take over and save the race from itself."    

And finally, in summation: 

"Every time we produce a boy or girl who is trained to believe that the universe is the product of accumulated accident, that human beings are only graduate beasts [and entirely disposable, starting at conception],  that there is no such thing as innate right and wrong or that deep spiritual convictions are old-fashioned and unnecessary, then we have caused a casualty among our own ranks in the field of ideological warfare."

Communism is so charming, isn't it?

But just look at us now...Can we recognize Communism without a label when we see it?

America is embracing the principles of Communism right now!  Matter of fact, at the rate we are going, the words on the page can't keep up with the number of converts and anarchists and revolutionaries and atheists. 

We have a president taking us through fundamental transformation -- just like he said he was going to do, by the way -- leading us into a new era in America.  

None of it has a label on it.   It's Communism without labels, borders, good intentions, or history on it's side.

In normal situations, this shouldn't be anything more than a problem with distribution, not packaging. 

But not this time; not in this age. 

As we welcome the new idiocy being manufactured at an alarming rate, given birth to a cultural phenomenon that is responsible for changing our traditions, re-writing our history, transforming every facet of our daily life into a faithless, soul-less, casualty of ideological warfare. 

Instead of spreading the wealth the real way, the American way -- aka multiplying our abundance -- we are languishing under a brand new mindset... overwhelmed and systematically burdened through an equal sharing of misery, envy, ignorance, liabilities, lies and insolvency. 

You really think a secular, spiritually inept, culturally wounded, economically unstable, immoral, uneducated lot has the capacity to overcome this "secret weapon"?   Oh, then I've got a recently vacant palace in Cairo I wanna show you.

It's a sad day when we cease to recognize just what makes life in America so charming.

It's an intangible ideal that unfortunately has proven harder and harder to bottle over the years -- to label appropriately, more fully, in all of it's glory, and for all it's worth.   Manufacturing a product that is consistently of high quality, commandeering the finest of ingredients, and held to exceptional standards at all times, seems to be an elusive trick of the trade. More important, you may be noticing, torn off from all four corners, absent is the fine print -- defining the inherent responsibility and duty to even hold such a thing in your hand.

A priceless commodity, Americanism; and currently, it's under rapid fire by a secret weapon without a label on it.  Take stock, for the shelves, these times, they are a-changin'.  hmmm Charmed...I'm sure-errr (say it like a valley- serf- girl, it's just more fun).

It's a Lacking of Proficiency and Substance and Real Strength Thing

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.

oh really?  we're sorry for the bad behavior of a few bad seeds, please don't do anything rash.  We apologize for a couple of Americans -- and "firmly reject the actions by those WHO ABUSE the UNIVERSAL right of FREE SPEECH to hurt the religious beliefs of others?"

Not that it makes it anymore right, but THESE PEOPLE are speaking on American soil where free speech is still king. There is no reason for this apology whatsoever.

...so... just to bring you all up to speed --  the official apology by our administration, specifically via the web pages of the US. Embassy in Cairo, extended to the region's Islamic majority, occurred AFTER the State Department caught wind of the growing "discontent" and made our people clear out [following the release of an unsanctioned video widely assumed to be produced by that creepy  preacher down in Florida ...BUT it wasn't him; he was only publicizing it; it was a guy named Sam who made it -- go here for more]  BUT the apology came BEFORE the invasion of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.  The apology was intended to curb the crazy.  And as we all know now, the Angry-Arab-Birds-of-Hope-Springs-Eternal flew and spewed anyway.

But later in the day, the administration "disavowed" our own embassy's apology, clarifying:

"Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet.  The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.  Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation.  But let me be clear:  There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind."   Hillary Clinton

I'm sorry, but where is the president on this one? [it's not about Romney]

During the course of the day, we had the US Embassy in Cairo invaded, taking our American flag down and raising the Al Queda flag; our US Ambassador in Libya and THREE American Consulate workers die in Benghazi, at the US Embassy in Libya; while the administration turns down a request by Benjamin Netanyahu for a meeting with Obama, when in the country for the gathering at the United Nations come the end of September.

The world has changed as we know it, as political correctness dictates foreign policy in the Obama Administration:  Remember this:

And where is the President?  [it's not about Romney]

Where is his immediate and unequivocal condemnation of these acts across the Middle East?  [it's not about Romney]

Oh right -- getting picked up over the shoulder of a pizza guy somewhere in the midwest; he's campaigning.

Where is our leader?  He should be speaking up and joining forces with his buddy in Chicago, Rahm -- telling 25,000 teachers to go back to work on behalf of the much needed education of the 400,000 students within the Chicago School System [as stellar a school system as it sounds --  80% of 8th graders lack proficiency in math, with "79%" lacking proficiency in reading -- curious as to why they just didn't round that one up...what ever].  The big hulla-balloo-list is mainly over teacher proficiency:

Forget the strike, every single one of them should be fired.  Hey, UN-employed, or UNDER-employed, teachers around the nation -- have I got a plan for you...I dare you to cross the picket line -- and I dare Rahm to hire you. But ain't that just a pipe dream out of the sixties.

But make no mistake: CHICAGO IS DOING SOMETHING WRONG THERE; perhaps it is something fraudulent, maybe even criminal, or what's the word the Left loves to throw around...right...maybe there's a felony or two involved.

If from your acceptance speech of just last week be true -- you spoke so highly of a good education, our all-hallowed teacher's UNIONS, as well as the value of a good education being "the gateway to the middle class" -- then just where is your outrage for what is happening in your own hometown?   Everybody has to do their fair share -- and do the hard work, as you so often say.  Is a mere 20% proficiency in the Three R's a good effort, one that should be rewarded in any way?

America, we are not in Kansas anymore.   

This is brand new territory -- 

from a perspective totally unfamiliar to any of us.

Our American flag was taken down and replaced with an Al Queda flag; we lost four of our own, in Benghazi; we turned down Israel for a sit down; we have Al Sharpton getting word from a foot soldier in Chicago, that this is their "Arab Spring"  -- and this president of ours doesn't say a word?

[be willing to bet that tomorrow another embassy gets attacked just because the teacher's union in Chicago is calling it an "Arab Spring" without the proper clearances from the Islamic upper crust -- isn't the misuse of such terminology inflammatory in and of itself?]

oh and this is fascinating -- "Barack Obama has had trouble finding time to meet with his jobs council, the White House press corps and now we’re finding out, attend his daily intelligence meetings, too. As campaigner in chief, he really does have ‘too much on his plate..."  More stats from Townhall.com, and quoting Marc Thiessen:

During 2011 and the first half of 2012, his attendance became even less frequent — falling to just over 38 percent. By contrast, Obama’s predecessor, George W.  It's funny -- the Obama administration said, there is simply no time in the calendar to meet with Netanyahu at the end of the month.  Really?  Is that the best you got?  And especially at a time in history when Israel is about to be attacked from three sides?

While it wouldn't surprise me one bit, if the words of a president and vice president and John Kerry from just last week's round of speeches at the DNC -- weren't actually responsible for stoking the fire as seen yesterday -- as if being another September 11th wasn't enough.

What point did they all drive home?  c'mon now.... I've been repeating it for days......

But I'm pretty sure the place our president needs to be right about now is at the White House, taking care of the hot-spots around the globe and at home; dousing the flare ups and calming the region(s) as the "peace keeper" he is supposed to be -- as his Nobel Peace Prize declares him to be, disregarding the fact that that was a wee bit premature, now wasn't it?  wasn't it?

We are still at war with evil ....all over the place...as this presidency continues to breed a campaign and lead this country by radicalized tactics and policies, only creating division and hate  where there was none, here at home.

To the outside world, our president has decided to lead by our weaknesses and apologies first, versus come at our enemies from a position of strength, authority and conviction.   Why would anyone be afraid of us?

Today, we are all talk, we lack substance, and dare I say, LACK PROFICIENCY even -- and the problem: 'they' [pick one] know it.

It's the Stark Reality of How Far We Have Come Kind of Thing

Dear America,


we've come a long way baby...

back in the day  -- when cigarette companies could advertise freely, and when women, in general, became an overnight success opening up a brand new target market available to the world -- this phrase quickly defined the modern household in the seventies.

'Virginia Slims' was cool like that.

yup --  we [women] were just so lucky way back when.

oh if we all knew then what we know now, huh?

NOW, thanks to organizations like NOW, and forty or fifty years after Virginia Slims wined and dined the market of women -- we have surely come a long way baby.

We can smoke whenever we want; we can have sex whenever we want; we can abort a baby whenever we want; we can drink alcohol whenever we want.  Life is grand.

But what have we learned?

And don't even let me get started on the irony, right?  Now, just about everywhere, nobody can smoke, especially in public! And if we do, it comes along with a wee bit of guilt, perhaps with a whole lot of denial, and chock full of emphysema, lung cancer, and the like [complete with much of the costs all upon the backs of the people who don't...you know, smoke].

So let's fast forward to today in America.

Just yesterday, Susan G. Komen Foundation caved to the mainstream media, reversing the reversal of fortune to Planned Parenthood.  They apologized for making the decision in the first place.

This is where the power "to choose" gets lost in translation -- what happens when our personal choices conflict?  Why does the side "to choose" get to choose for all of us?  Susan G. Komen is a private foundation, and they can choose whatever they want to do with their grant money; however, the federal government answers to all of us.   Public funds have no business being co-mingled and convoluted in policy, controversy, ideology, and the absolute free choice of personal liberties and beliefs.

I can choose to support, or reverse the support, for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, just as easily as I can choose to smoke or not to smoke.  Now the lines are just not as easily drawn when it comes to the funding, or the reversal of funding, within the federal government, now is it?

Oh and the places our government now chooses to go with this power  --

How about the latest round of controversy surrounding the Obama Administration, and specifically, Obamacare, going up against the Catholic Church.  GO HERE.

Do Catholics --  have a right to their religious liberty, or not?

Apparently not.   oh yes, we've come a long way baby.

Now I started today thinking I was gonna go a totally different direction.

Initially, with the whole idea of 'we've come a long way baby,' I intended to meander into the state of where we are, and how far we have come, within this current presidential campaign.  After all, I started this blog way back in the middle of 2009, when the Tea Party was just beginning to heat up, when everything we trusted to be the truth became tested right before our very eyes.  Looking back, 2009 seems equivalent to the dark ages.

It's almost like -- after years of being fed false advertising, and after nearly a half a century of being played with, twisting truth and reality, and allowing all of us to slip into a state of not thinking for ourselves -- we all woke up all at once.

All this time, we've been taking hits off the cancer stick -- being lulled into total denial, hardly imagining the absolute horror pending, when all of us discover how truly sick we really are; after all this time, thinking everything was cool, almost too cool for school.   And more than that, thinking we've all come a long way baby.

All I really know, after all this time.... writing and thinking and blogging...is that enough is enough.  And most of us, the majority of Americans, stand with me.  We know what we've been sold.

...and it ain't pretty; it ain't cool; and it surely ain't good for any of us.

sure, the current state of affairs between the foursome duking it out between the headlines and thirty second spots, may appear to outsiders as if we have no idea what we are doing.  there is that.


but when the time is right, when we finally have our man, that GOP ceiling will burst into a thousand pieces; and when its all over, when it happens, there is no doubt in my mind we will all coalesce around the winner, the nominee.  Because anything else -- and being rather nostalgically reminiscent of my thoughts of just Monday --  we surely come to our own demise, a sudden death.

at the National Prayer Breakfast just yesterday, our president said this:

"We can't leave our values at the door. If we leave our values at the door, we abandon much of the moral glue that has held our nation together for centuries and allowed us to become somewhat more perfect a union."

Moral glue, Mr. President? 

Me thinks that 'moral glue' is getting picked on, bullied even, in a very big way [case in point, the latest moral skirmishes in the news as highlighted here today].  You have asked Catholics, specifically, to leave their values at the door.   what gives, Mr. President?

oh yes, Catholics (and anyone else who believes in religious liberty), you have come a long way baby.

something about last night's debate just plum exhausted me --

the only sign of life was the intermittent joke, washed over the crowd in fits and spurts, but hardly often enough to keep the eyes open and the interest piqued.


Beginning with Gingrich who dropped a few ha-ha moments [and accidentally slipping into a remake of Wednesday's blog:  It's Socialism Stupid -- Among Other Things].  Here's Newt, retelling a Reagan era campaign zinger:

good stuff.

..and just as I was beginning to give up on the whole thing (seen it, heard it, tell me something I don't know already...)...we were introduced to another funny guy.

The biggest belly laugh of the night came from a candidate on the fringe, the outskirts, Gary Johnson.  With perfect pitch and inflection... simply letting the dry wit wind float over the crowd.... boom!

good one. although, too bad it wasn't his own work...and you're gonna have to look it up yourself...as I digress...

But poor Gary [fighting the urge to picture SpongeBob's pet snail...], much of his ideas may be falling on deaf ears; but every chance he got, Johnson said the first thing he would do as president would involve immediately balancing the budget -- cutting 43% of everything, pretty much across the board.  [yes, it's bold AND too bad this kind of agenda doesn't stand a chance of survival].

spinning off into something totally unrelated [sort of] -- yesterday, I ventured down the road of contacting someone within the AARP.  Yes, I am approaching the big  Five-Oh, but that doesn't even come close to the real reason for making contact.

I called them to tell them their new ad is deplorable, misguided, disingenuous, and stupid.  yeah, good luck with that G, right?   

Yes, it is bad enough that the first voice you hear (when calling the toll-free number) is Betty White's; that all you hear is Betty's voice -- yes...all the way through it... over the river and through the woods... at each and every prompt that redirects you to the department needed. It's just Betty.  Over and over and over again.  There is that.


But now, with their new ad, AARP is using seniors to preach the living fear into old people, asking everyone to call Washington, to tell them to back off their Medicare and Social Security.  really?  seriously? where was the AARP when Obamacare -- now legally binding -- commits the crime of taking 500 Billion dollars from Medicare to help pay for it?

Where were you then, AAAAAAAAAA R Pathetic?

[rhetorical question...we know who profits greatly with that little stunt] 

But back to living in the now,  NOBODY in their right mind is going to cut benefits to current seniors. Nobody.

The AARP is just peddling yet another lie to serve themselves.

It's like all the pointing of fingers back and forth last night, of the flipping and the flopping on positions -- is this the new AARP not to be confused with the old AARP?   Are you really for Medicare after you were against it?  Will the real AARP please stand up?

I am just sick of it.

The campaign has only just begun and my head is spinning... my stomach is nauseated... I'm feeling dizzy...and I think I'm gonna.............

I am just sick of it; I am beside myself in disappointment, sensing an overwhelming feeling of deja vu, thinking we must be going in circles.

The only thing that is saving me right now -- looking at the field of contenders preparing to go up against The Chosen One --  is this:   The Chosen One sucks more.

and speaking of fits and spurts of nausea, another rumor is being circulated about The First Lady being pregnant (again).  Now this gossip's been dropped on the street before -- nearly on an annual basis -- but who knows, right.  It could be true this time around...whatever ya gotta do to win...whatever you gotta say...whatever you gotta imply...whatever.   It's all just a part of the game.

So where are we?  Is the law of diminishing returns ringing in the next president of the United States?  By all appearances thus far, instead of appreciating in value we seem to be depreciating.

Just where is the classic, made in America, untarnished man (or woman) of steel?
Guess I'm just searchin' for a some kind of real Iaccoca (I mean, miracle) right about now...

Have politics and society reached such a level of corruption, that the one who wins is the one showing the least amount of dings and scratches?  Is that how we decide our fate?

NOW, all we want is the truth.

We are finished with all the songs and games and billboards and pokes in the side -- of course, accompanying alongside the ever so annoying and persistent bickering back and forth.

We are done; nauseated and spent in every possible way -- a.k.a. umpteen ways from Sunday -- all we want to do is get there already.

And yet, we still have such a long, long road ahead.

we have a new member of the family.  I like to think of her as a just a girl, her name is Charlotte, a day in the life spinning her world wide web called home.  She sits right outside my kitchen window and every morning she coaxes me into believing she means know harm, as I go about my business making coffee.   

It's just Charlotte.

and just so you know, she is HUGE (I would tell her she's fat, to cut back on a fly or two, but where would that lead?  would it change anything? I think not.  And besides --  then, I would not only be feeling her menacing stare down each morn, wondering what on earth is going on in that puffy little head of hers, I would always be looking over my shoulder after she intermittently retreats during the high noon sun).

as Arachnids go, Charlotte is one of the biggest, fat-est, ugliest little things I have laid my eyes on in a long time.  seriously.

I have to think of her as something out of a storybook or nursery rhyme -- for without making a conscious shift convincing myself that she is the sweetest thing ever, I would be totally freaked out!

oh my goodness. oh my goodness. just thinking about her is making me squirm.

It's just Charlotte; there is nothing to be afraid of G...what is the big f*&@ deal?

She is outside -- you are inside.

I am just surprised, if not stunned, of how easily we can be swayed, misguided, duped, by simply giving something a new name.

So apparently, living in the United States of America, circa 2011 -- in the land of the free and home of the brave, creator of jack be nimble and jane be quick, having given birth to self-reliance and the power of one, maker of true liberty and justice for all -- every ideal and principle we have grown to love and adore, shelter and protect, uplift and respect, has been upended, subverted, usurped or come undone.

HOW?  just by giving it a new name.

ahh don't be afraid, it's just Charlotte.

So the behaviors and actions and policies and regulations we used to consider to be acts of socialism, or communism, or Marxism -- spinning and weaving the very ideals we knew in our heart to be economically and culturally overwhelmingly dangerous -- is now just Progressive-ism.    It's no big deal, right?

ahhh, isn't she so sweet.

Truth is, there are some super scary things going on in America, but the scariest of all seems to be our response to it.

we do not multiply wealth by dividing it.

we do not lift people out of poverty by giving them the fish.

we do not make good money after bad.

we do not reap when we do not sow.

we do not make a good day when we do nothing.

we do not create happiness when we think despair.

we do not grow our good when we plant bad seeds.

stop...enough already...we get it.

AND when it comes to the Republic for which we stand:

WE, The People, DO NOT build a strong America when we lower ourselves to the weakest link, punish success, cease to aspire, stop showing up, make excuses, point fingers, divide the populace by propaganda, extinguish all signs of faith in God, and all but eliminate every single founding principle and value. It just can't be done.

We can call it by any name we want to get us through the day; but by the end of the day, don't kid yourself, it will no longer be a Republic held in high esteem and recognized the world over as the leader of the free world.  We could look out our window all the live long day, but that America would be all gone. buh-bye.

The thing is, what grew over days, weeks, months, totally and fundamentally transforming itself into something else right before our eyes carries the potential of being the shape-shifter of our greatest demise.  One man's sweet, whittle, progressive-ism is another man's socialism, communism, marxism.

BE afraid, people, be afraid.

Let's call her what she really is -- the big, fat, ugly, menacing beast that she is; the biggest, freakiest, scariest spider I have ever seen in my whole entire life. not exaggerating one bit.  she is butt ugly.  and being a stubborn little thing, she seems to have settled in quite happily under the eaves.

Love that president of ours talking about paying our fair share of taxes lately, don't you?  Catch this from out of Sydney...it's a small world after all....

The AP has done some fact checking.  About 1% of our Wage Earners are considered millionaires -- comes to about 230,000; data shows less than 1,500 of those millionaires did NOT pay their fair share, or any taxes at all.  Having said that, the top 10% pay 70% of the Federal Tax burden -- while the bottom 47% actually pay NOTHING.  If you are one of the 228,500 millionaires who pay the federal tax rate per the IRS schedule, you pay 29.1%; if you are a wage earner making between $50,000 and $75,000 dollars, you pay at a rate of 15%.

If Warren Buffett were to take a salary, he would (rightly so) be paying his fair share according to the tax code; but he chooses to not to.

Last Thing:

WE are talking about MONEY earned -- with blood, sweat and tears of our own doing.

It's All About Rick Perry Keepin' It Real Thing

Dear America,

keepin' it real.
that's what we want.

and whoever comes out being more real than the next guy, or girl, the better.

Do you really think our general spirit of goodness and charity is just by accident?  a  natural occurrence, an evolution of the highest order, that just comes about organically all on it's own, kinda like a Big Bang or something?


All action is preceded by a thought -- best described as the creative genius directly responsible for making all things under heaven.  We NEVER do something without thinking about doing something first, even if it is only for a nano-second.

Of course, Perry was speaking to students at Liberty University -- the college where Jerry Falwell Jr. sits as Chancellor.  As the article linked here makes no qualms of mentioning right from the get go, Perry was "preaching to the choir."

But you should also know, Perry wasn't just catering to a political whim of the moment, he meant every word and has no intention of stifling his authentic Christian faith in any way.  He is just keepin' it real -- because it is (you know. ..real).

Excerpts from another article, out of ABCDallasnews.com adds,

"This country is your country, too. Don't leave it to a bunch of Washington politicians to tell you how to live your life. This is your future that we are debating today," he said.

Tailoring his message to the Christian crowd, he said: "You are blessed to live in freedom, but as the Scripture says, to whom much is given, much is expected in return."

For Perry, this Christian thing, isn't a costume; he isn't masking a hidden agenda; he isn't masquerading as something he's not; he is simply keepin' it real.  This is who he is, at the core.  This is where his beliefs and values come.

After this speech -- from a Christian candidate speaking as a Christian to a Christian crowd mind you -- it was hard to believe how the conversation last night, directed by Bill O'Reilly on Fox News (fyi: a real Catholic and Christian), quickly and unnecessarily turned into a platform for criticism.

...for O'Reilly, it was as if this Christian candidate, flamboyantly coming out of the closet like so, was the basis for having a real argument: that this Texan's faith carried the potential to really hurt him in the long run; it was as if it was just too much reality at once, or at all.  O'Reilly made it seem as if Perry would be dividing the populace by showing his true, authentic beliefs -- even when those beliefs are clearly shared equally within the context of his entire audience at Liberty U -- and even when those beliefs are built into the very foundation this country was made.  O'Reilly thought this sort of authenticity was just too much to bear.

If our nation's Christian roots are not being viciously attacked -- they are being asked to hide, to go underground; shamed by just the idea of it, cast off as if illegitimate, discredited, mocked and ridiculed by just the thought of it, as everyday, fundamental, authentic faith through Christianity is equated to radicalized Islamic terrorists; while American Atheists are being allowed to become the new mouthpiece of secular social justice laying the foundation of our new America, making the absurdity of Freedom From Religion the people's new religion.

Can you believe that was circa eighteenth century?  Can you believe society has not learned a thing since?

Scratch that.  Maybe we learned it, but then quickly dismissed it -- or maybe little by little shied away from it -- and the more and more we turned away from it, the more normal it seemed; pretty soon things evolved and grew into a new normal, a new normal that smacks the old one right across the face as if we had grown possessed by some freak of the devil himself.  As if, all of a sudden, society needed a cleansing, an exorcism of the highest order...oh my god those people believe in God!

As if, keepin' it real, keepin' it really real, is a cause for real alarm.

Our founders made America a place for religious freedom ABOVE all else.  It was the very reason we had to leave England and find a new land in order to create a new world.

The "free exercise thereof" was divined within the framework of our founding documents, namely our Constitution, not as an insignificant gesture, or platform, banking upon the hope that no one would ever live according to one's beliefs -- it was real.  Our founders hoped we would keep our faith in something much greater than ourselves and let that Something rise above, if not truly guide us in our every day.

This "free exercise thereof"  lawfully protected all citizens to have the right to exercise their full liberty to speak their truth.   While, to be sure, to exercise thereof is hardly stagnant; it is solidifying the real action required of us.

Sure, they are just words, but these words are clearly, in actuality, and fundamentally, put to good use.

These words make up the atom, that which is part and parcel of the creative thought -- the Big Bang -- back behind the very creation of this country.

These very words serve as a greater purpose under heaven.

Congress may not establish one religion; the nation may not establish one religion; but man, in and of himself, may choose his religion and speak unabashedly, and often, and with unparalleled flamboyance, making real his authentic faith at any given time.  This right is protected.  [and as such, given it's rare occurrence, should be admired, honored, cherished as a sign of something really cool]

So -- here we are -- everyone is talking about this crazy, fanatical Texan; people are having conversations large and small about HIS faith.

Perhaps the question we should be asking ourselves is more like this, how strong is our faith?  How do we measure up in our actions, our words, our deeds when it comes to our own religion?  Are we being authentic?  Would our God be proud of us?  Do we speak in public declaring our truths, beliefs, and values and exercise that right freely given to us thereof without concern of being ridiculed, dismissed as fanaticism, declared a total loon, or even... denied a seat in the big white house for keepin' it really real because of it?

OR do we just whither away, fading into the dusty rose wall paper of our colonial roots -- keeping watch from a position indiscriminate to the naked eye -- without saying so much as another word?  And thereby, shockingly, allow secular think tanks, and atheists, and unbelievers, to not only tell us what to think, but dictate what is permissible in practice of our religious freedom, virtually stifling the "free exercise thereof"  and eradicating Christianity right before our very eyes.

We are being asked to intrinsically change everything -- from our traditions and holidays, to our principles and values, to even history itself.

Looking into our future, perhaps it will be our own cultural Christianity, our conformity to a secular separation from God, that ultimately reveals the hidden contagion with the real potential to kill us.  To think that this may be even possible is of course the first step for a course correction --  making way for a restoration of the fundamentals -- giving way to a new, new world that just so happens to date back centuries.

Me thinks God might be smiling down on Rick today, thinking to himself, thatta boy; perhaps it is we, ourselves, who have so little faith (or, have just grown too afraid to show it).

just sayin'.

It's All About an Attack Watch -- Leave King B Alone -- Thing

Dear America,

remember back a few years when we all heard that rousing cry going something like this... 'leave britney alone!'
it was the passionate, uninhibited, grassroots, totally organic outcry from evidently a huge fan.

...clearly a lovely girl...
a staunch supporter, adorer, follower, perhaps even a card carrying member of the captivated Britney base.

She was simply sick and tired of her baby getting used and abused by the spinning media and mayhem following what else, the self-inflicted wounds of too much media and mayhem. 

But the desperate plea stuck with us for awhile..it was a vicious cycle of tears for fears, hit me baby one more time, now hit me with your best shot with just more tears for fears, hit me baby one more time, now hit me with your best shot, followed up with a chorus of oops, I did it again each and every time.

While looking back on it, it may very well have been some of the nation's first episodes of pop culture leading a campaign with a personal agenda that is best described these days as "going viral."  We heard the cry everywhere and often.

so this "attack watch" thing would be highly entertaining if it wasn't so true.

The Obama Administration morphed from socialism to communism today, marked by the introduction of a brand new campaign to make the people mindful of attacks against the Chosen One.  They want you to speak up; they want you to make note of it and tell them all about it...to "fight the smears."  And it is fully paid for, by the way, from an outfit simply called, "Obama for America."

In essence, America is being asked to 'Leave King B Alone.'  waaaah

Evidently, censorship of our liberty to speak freely against tyranny is not only in vogue, but it is organized, advocated, with a killer website running viral homegrown video as we speak to support it -- feed it -- if not spin the followers out of control with it.  how cool is that? is this a great country, or what?

I would be shocked if only it wasn't so expected.

For this president has his bronze thin skin showing once again....oooh baby baby as the buttons come flying off.

Adding another twist, last night captivated a nation with a couple of Special Elections -- the most widely watched being the seat in New York, replacing an idiot a.k.a. Anthony Weiner.   News this morning is claiming that the two [GOP] wins stand as a direct rebuke of the Obama Administration, mostly having to do with his overspending and overreaching of the federal government.

I would say it runs a whole lot deeper than that.


This week on G Thing began with a quote from the president who had the audacity to call for Congress to act on behalf of his brand-spanking-new-jobs-act with "no games, no politics, no delays."

This -- coming from a president who is manufacturing controversy and corruption and crony capitalism antics to the millionth and billionth power -- exponentially surpassing the number of green jobs saved or created [nod to Solyndra...oops] -- let alone making so much as a dent in comprehending what makes America really really work (for real).  (being really redundant. tell me something I don't know already). 

It isn't just about a rebuke to the policies of the Progressive/Socialist/Redistributionist-In-Chief -- it is baby baby so much more than that.

What America really really wants is a show of ethics.  We want America to get it's &$%* together.

we are so sick and tired of the unethical, immoral, unaffected elite leading us over the bridge to nowhere to the land of missed opportunity and stomped on dreams.  We want the government to not only shut up -- but get the &*#$ out of the way.

we expect all of you [in government] to be honest, lawful, thoughtful and responsible.  It is neither left or right -- we just want someone else -- because what other choice do we really have but to follow the Rule of Law in place until we get it right, right?  [God help us...].

we are saddened by the display of government gone wild -- it goes against everything we thought we ever were...even if it was only in our own mind.  for oh how easy is it to hang our star on an aberration of reality.  we inflicted these wounds upon ourselves, no one else is to blame.  It is a free country -- everything is up for grabs --  anyone can capitalize on any thing at any given time, right?     Doing nothing is just the same as doing something every single time, huh shuga'. And right now, I don't even care if I make any sense -- that's how out of control things really really are.

Too bad we haven't learned -- scratch that, more like have forgotten --  how to capitalize upon our good.

Oh if only we could grow our prosperity by doing the right thing for the right reasons and begin to manufacture more of that.

If only we could grow the good.

If only we could get all our kids to go school and genuinely want to learn.

If only we could encourage all immigrants to follow the rules of entry and citizenship.

If only we could glorify a moral and civic duty to ourselves and each other to respect one another and our laws.

If only we could all remember that the free market, and a truly free society, relies on maintaining real freedom for all; recognizing that with our inherent self-reliance to live, grow, work, and play, creating our own successes and failures, that it comes in direct proportion and relationship with how we live, grow, work, and play.  huh. well I'll be, imagine that.

If only we could keep a humble allegiance and greater faith as one nation under God  -- for divine intervention, divine providence, and in keeping with our covenant to country and each other.

If only.

Stimulus is merely a cosmetic answer revealing a deeper issue running viral, if not totally out of control, on substance. Faces can change [as in: so what about District NY 9 Special Election!...so what about President Hope and Change!....so what about the latest pop star of the hour....so what].

The reality is nothing will change until WE DO; nothing will change until our hearts and minds and actions align with principles and values of real character -- and that goes for all of us.  and as always, myself starting center stage.

Oh baby baby one more time... we can all do better.
