It's a Politically Punchy Day Thing....hiccup ...

Dear America,

so driving behind a truck today -- it was white -- with the company name 'Royal' across the back tailgate.  guess I wasn't very attentive, for I have no idea what the dude did; it could have been electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning...lucky for me, that's not the point.  what caught my eye was the HUGE Romney-Ryan placard across his back window, displayed like a rifle, or something.

all of a sudden, the unexpected thrill up my leg began to build...

...my eyes wandered...past the "proud to be an infidel" bumper sticker (sure, it made me giggle a little)...but next thing I know, I am about to pee in my pants. that's just so lady-like, isn't it? indeed.  But bear with me, if you will.   He had another bumper sticker hanging out on the far right side...

In the upper left-hand corner there was the Obama "O" -- the presidential campaign seal --  along with the overlay of his smiling mug; the accompanying text was simply this:  "Does This Ass Make My Truck Look Fat?"

Oh yes, Will Smith, it's not about the amount of breaths we take, it's about the moments that take our breath away.

And all this BEFORE I arrived home to see that there was a 12 point swing in the national PEW poll, putting Romney up ahead of that ass-is-grass-in-chief.

too soon?
maybe.

Not sure what's going on with me today.

Somewhere between yesterday's blog,  lamenting the loss of a few good libertarians banding together to boycott the election  and the sighting of this bumper sticker -- I believe I have gone a little cuckoo.

I fully intended to march right in here and talk about that brilliant foreign policy speech made today, and not by our president.

Romney was measured, commanding...presidential in every way.

Clearly, he was everything in that moment that I am not in this very moment.

[And funny, I had such high hopes for me today, too.... :(   ]

Suffice it to say, I am just gonna blame my lack of performance on the infidel driving the white truck; being nearly at sea level, certainly can't point to the altitude.

Of course, I could just go with the president's excuse: "Everybody here is incredible professionals, they're such great friends and they just perform flawlessly night after night. I can't always say the same."  Besides the teleprompter failing to have a proper grammar check, it was a starry, starry night had by all; nights like this, along with the month of September, helped rake in 181 million dollars for the president's coffers.  Go here if you need to see the schmooze list.

And since little old G thing is playing it a wee bit slap-stick today -- we might as well go all the way.

Let me point you in the direction of a rather surprising take on the Obama come-back lines -- that is, if you call it a come back...And believe it or not, it was found on Yahoo!  Here you go -- just a little something they like to call "Political Punch."

alrighty then. peace out.

I need to get with my quality control board, have lunch with my inner circle, and hopefully spend the remainder of the day finding my better half...I know she's in there somewhere.

Make it a Good Day, G
