It's Reading is Fundamental Thing

Dear America,

"how cool is it that the same God
that created oceans and mountains and galaxies
 looked at you and thought
the world needs one of you too"

words found on a table decoration,  in a catalog called  natural life...give, love, laugh

i will shop here, one day, not just because it sells pretty things, it puts GOD is the cool category! can I get an amen?

you know what's not cool, is how things have changed.

Need another view, read Star Parker, here.  (it's also featured at The Patriot Post)

Here's a good part --

The founders of the country saw the nation’s existence, its faith and its posterity as a package deal. It all went together.
Now we have a young generation, our future, that dismisses the importance of all the elements of that package. What might this tell us about where we’re headed?
The operative questions are: Does the country have a future, a posterity, without children? And will there be children if there is no marriage and family? And will there be marriage and family if there is no religion and God?

good questions, Star.

And from Gary Bauer's piece --

The left’s war on faith has been going on since the 1960s, and it shows no signs of letting up. (The left has adopted radical environmentalism as its religion, and Big Government is its god.) Those on the left are only interested in the Bible as long as they can distort it to promote socialism and more government...
The Founders did not rebel against King George III because they wanted big government telling them what to do. They rebelled because they wanted limited government and individual freedom. If the Founders intended us to be a socialist nation, we would have been a socialist nation since 1789.

and talk about context as to what kind of government our FOUNDERS intended...another MUST READ -- also found @The Patriot Post -- comes from one of my all time favorite people, Walter E. Williams.  In this post, he is responding like a total gentleman to an absurdity happening under the direction of the New York Times, and a thing called "1619 Project."

Here's Williams --

There are several challenges one can make about Hannah-Jones’ article, but I’m going to focus on the article’s most serious error, namely that the nation’s founders intended for us to be a democracy. That error is shared by too many Americans. The word democracy appears nowhere in the two most fundamental founding documents of our nation — the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution...
The founders had utter contempt for democracy. James Madison, the acknowledged father of the Constitution, wrote in Federalist Paper No. 10, that in a pure democracy “there is nothing to check the inducement to sacrifice the weaker party or the obnoxious individual.” At the 1787 Constitutional Convention, delegate Edmund Randolph said, “that in tracing these evils to their origin every man had found it in the turbulence and follies of democracy.” John Adams said: “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There was never a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos...”
In addition to not understanding our Constitution, Hannah-Jones’ article, like in most discussions of black history, fails to acknowledge that black Americans have made the greatest gains, over some of the highest hurdles in the shortest span of time than any other racial group in mankind’s history.

so much of America's fundamentals, and what, precisely, America has accomplished over its last nearly 250 years, is so misunderstood or misaligned today.

Case in point, returning to the AOC for some chuckles...ya right, "young people are more informed and dynamic than their predecessors...they actually take time to read and understand our [world] history." And then also say, "I think this new generation is very profound, and very strong, and very brave, because they're actually willing to go to the streets..."  as if that's never happened before.

And Bernie is no help at all.  Talk about village idiots... 65 million Chinese later.  Yes, Bernie, leadership, like, under Chinese leaders, like Mao, is quite the legacy to follow.

so clearly, this girl has fed you many things to read today.

it's all good, matter of fact, how cool is it that the same God
that created oceans and mountains and galaxies
 looked at you and thought
the world needs one of you too

and you can read!

so read up, buttercup, and see you again real soon.  And thank you very much to the coolest place on the web for good reads every single day, @The Patriot Post!

It's a Time for Listening Thing

Dear America,

 sit.  good girl xo

blog #979 signing in

let's get right to it, shall we?

i was without internet yesterday, like, all day.  IKR?

for me, it didn't really matter about the blog...for some days this bird is completely happy flying under the radar and I am totally okay with not chirping in and saying so much as a toot sweet.  But what was interesting -- given every time I went to look at something on my phone -- there I was, flapping my wings at high speed data if I wanted to do anything.  So I didn't.  I spent the day doing little to nothing when it came to falling into the virtues of the ether-reality we recognize as life connected tightly at the hip to a gadget, any gadget, like, get me another gadget, one that works, stat.

Luckily, being plump in the middle of pet sitting for a sum total of two days -- my entertainment came and went with fur balls and happy tails, plastic toys that squeaked, rubber balls that went sailing over the grass with a pooch panting madly behind it, and a wide-mouthed bearded dragon who just gazed at me with the silliest little grin wondering what kind of wax worm, roach, or cricket he gets to eat next, and in between crunching upon bok choy like he was straight out of a cartoon.

No bother; chock it up to days when the universe forces us to heel (and heal, and how).

sit.  good girl xo

I drank detox tea and lounged.

And I lounged.

Played ball.

And I lounged.

Played more ball.

I didn't even read a book; matter of fact, didn't even bring a book with me as I thought I would have no time.  ha!  hilarious.

I cat napped, like twice...once, right alongside a real live cat!

And it was good.

Like, what's a girl gonna do -- pick a fight with the Almighty Creator of all of our days?  Clearly, it was like some kind of precious gift from the Mastermind of  All Things telling me to just stop.

SO I did.  [It's happened before, so, you know,  you can be sure this girl is finally catching onto the idea of just going with It.  Baby steps, baby steps.]

Thing is, besides sitting more, I also tried to listen more while deep in the quiet of my hours of my yesterday.

Truth be told, consumed by the glut of self-interests fresh out of school, I lament the fact that I wasn't as keen on listening back then; my guess is, I was far better in the asking for what I want rather than seeking what God wanted for me.   To which I feel compelled to add, to plead my case -- --  um, I'm sorry; forgive me; it has to be better late than never, right?

I know Lord.  So cliché my bae.

BUT NO, it really isn't.
I REALLY FEEL IT.
I really feel in my heart that it's far better to have learned to really and truly listen to this Spirit inside me and around me and working through me, on a daily basis, later in life, than never at all.

Like,  for never is, like, a really long long time; it's like, forever and ever; and to never ever come to know this Prince of Peace and Quiet, this Loving Guidance fully available, enveloping all our days from start to stop, from sunrise to sunset and even while we sleep...now that would really truly be a sad sad thing.
 sit.  good girl xo

It's overwhelming and tragic, this speed in which America's Judeo-Christian culture, that sense of being in true community with one another alongside a common belief, and faith, in Something Greater than ourselves, is falling away from tradition and becoming more and more absent from our hearts and minds.  At a loss, are all the things the teachings freely give to us, to enrich us, to set our hearts and minds aright as we go about the business of our day to day.

Is it all just lip-service, as our politicians cling to the words and ideals that have guided this nation for so long, making their case before the American people...when they say things like, 'that is not who we are' or 'we are better than this' or whenever any of us gather to speak the words of our Pledge of Allegiance?
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
OR The American's Creed,

I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.
I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

One hundred years ago, this creed, was written by Tyler Page (1917) and subsequently accepted by the United States House of Representatives on April 3, 1918.

We take it for granted, this foundation laid so long ago in America and now be foolishly eroded from our days and nights, leaving souls untethered, and vulnerable to senseless rhetoric and empty promises, building a life upon just sand.

How do we defend a nation against all enemies, when the enemy is within?

It would seem, by the looks of how The Left wishes to come in hot feeding us the glorious big lie of how government dependency is the great cure-all for every little thing in this world -- listening more to what God wants...listening to the still small voice of the Divine that only It can give... is totally not of this world, this modern day, being intellectually decided to be of no use whatsoever.

Oh this day -- these times -- being ever so popular for democrats, as a whole, to call out the moral outrage of certain things, like, for instance, border walls; when, in reality, a border wall seems to be the least of our worries....that is, when it comes to immorality.  Like, seriously, Nancy?

This combination of "immoral, expensive and unwise" has only become their new mantra; when, for certain, it doesn't describe a wall, at all.  It best articulates the savagery against fiscal responsibility, true liberty and independence for all, of the American people, that this American government -- including every administration of the last hundred years -- has accomplished, to our detriment. Now that's immoral. Expensive.  And so freaking unwise it's not even funny.

To side with Shultz on one thing --  it's about that 21 TRILLION DOLLARS.

And please, don't get me wrong, this girl is not being judge and jury -- just making an observation, k.   I'm just making the observation that many more of us should be making a true observation of our world.  It's called looking at the bigger picture, bigger picture.

I mean, honestly...on a personal note, I just attended an awareness rally on Human Trafficking this past Saturday...it's a pretty big deal out here in Southern California; and, we all bear witness to a barrage of ugly sights and sounds and stories all across the web all the live long day; and, apparently we all live, now, in an era where the state of New York has just legalized infanticide!   So that is just three things that come to mind in less than thirty seconds that we may just want to spend some of our precious time pondering when it comes to important topics with morality at the center!

And Nancy wants to judge a wall that separates a country from another country?

Hmm like the Great Wall of China?  Does she hate that one, too?

Or, like the walls that surround the Obama's new D.C. home?
Or, like the great wall that surrounds the Clinton's New York homestead?
Wait, like, do you have a wall around your home, Nancy?  Or make that, your vineyard?  You're being a little gauche, wouldn't you say?

But more to the point, what is so wrong with asking people -- all people -- to wait in line and follow the immigration law, the rules, already in place?  Wouldn't that be notably more sound, more moral, when it comes to the actions of every prospective immigrant wanting to come to America?

Wouldn't those be just the kind of people we would like to have immigrate....the one's who actually take the time to sit and be still and wait there turn and do the right thing, no matter how long it takes, or what you have to give up in return?

sit.  good girl xo

Oh thank heaven.  I'm home again, where the WiFi is alive and well!
Just in the nick of time, too, not sure how much more I could take... teehee.

OH but that yesterday....nothing to do but sit, and listen, to that still small voice inside me.

I listened for awhile, and then listened some more; talk about a good day.

This much I know:
The Greatest Resource -- for all Americans, if not the entire world, make that, universe -- is God through the teachings of The Good Book.
A return to the principles that shaped America into the shelter, built upon Rock, that she has grown to become...for all the world.... is a daily ritual, with individuals taking action, one by one, and together forming a chain, linking heritage and values, virtues and morals, and assimilating into one perfect union...and waking up the next day, and doing it all over again.  It's why America has long been characterized as The Melting Pot.    This is not only our best hope, it is our ONLY hope.

the end.

It's Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Day Thing

Dear America,

game on, kimmel...

“Hear me out on this,”
Kimmel began
“So Kavanaugh gets confirmed
 to the Supreme Court, OK?
Well, in return
we get to cut that
pesky penis
of his off
in front of everyone.”
@Breitbart

yup, so says the guy famous for this........

OH that MAN SHOW....
with a title like that, would that even make it out of the cutting room in today's sensitive climate?

So what, in Uncle Sam Hill, gives this dude the gonads to say a fricken thing about Brett Kavanaugh?

He's not that funny, and he has no third leg to stand on, if you get my drift woody.

Oh yes, Kimmel, we can all be crass when we wanna be -- but if you ask me, the US of A was better off when we behaved ourselves, especially in public, or when bouncing around the public domain via the world wide web.

It's hard to believe he actually said what he said, really.  But seriously, who's playing who?

And how do we know he was just kidding?  Given this new age of RESISTANCE, right Brennan?

"Any attempt by the White House to subvert or manipulate law enforcement should be resisted," Brennan tweeted Monday evening. "Rather than resigning, officials should stand their ground & wait to be fired. Resisting abuse of presidential authority is not a policy difference; it’s about adhering to the rule of law."

so says the leftist-ordained leader of the new radicals of resistance...John Brennan.  And if you have been following along the bouncing blue balls, there are no rules anymore.  Or read this.  And speaking of leaders and mentors of leaders and mentors...

From Saul Alinsky --

"Confronted with the materialistic decadence of the status quo, one should not be surprised to find that all revolutionary movements are primarily generated from spiritual values and considerations of justice, equality, peace, and brotherhood.  History is a relay of revolutions; the torch of idealism is carried by the revolutionary group until this group becomes the establishment, and then quietly the torch is put down to wait until a new revolutionary group picks it up for the next leg of the run.  Thus the revolutionary cycle goes on."
....and a page later --

"I believe that man is about to learn that the most practical life is the moral life and that the moral life is the only road to survival.  He is beginning to learn that he will either share part of his material wealth or lose all of it; that he will respect and learn to live with other political ideologies if he wants civilization to go on. This is the kind of argument that man's actual experience equips him to understand and accept."
Oh, better call Saul quite the comedian, right.

just who's playing who?

First, as for that soul searching "that man is about to learn"  -- this imaginary age of enlightenment, take two, the one man seemed ripe to endow....the one showing the way of "the most practical life is the moral life and that the moral life is the only road to survival" -- um, really?

Now, he wrote this book, Rules for Radicals, in the early seventies -- which came directly after the sixties, if I'm not mistaken.  Did we actually learn anything from our behavior in the sixties?  Were the seventies about to transform us -- all of this manhood -- in every way, or at least in the way of brotherhood and peace and equality and justice?   Or, is this just Alinsky being Alinsky --  framing an argument, that deceptively leads us to a better understanding of man's final destination according to Siri Saul, via the way of an organized fraud and the redistribution of wealth?

And this part --  "that he will respect and learn to live with other political ideologies if he wants civilization to go on."  What a riot.

Um, the Left didn't seem to get this memo, now did they?  There is not one cry from the left, in calling for a simple co-existence, let alone a group of them.

It's such a great shame.  How ignorance continues to wreak havoc.

Our greatest understanding --  based upon the foundation established in America 231 years ago  --  should be that we are NOT a society of groups whatsoever.  The organization, from top down and bottom up, began with the idea that we are a collection of INDIVIDUALS seeking life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness under God; that our rights come from our Creator, and that these rights are unalienable, and purely part of the natural order itself.

A moral society was intended to be the end, with the means by way of the establishment of morally sound individuals, people who are characteristically virtuous and leading lives of principled values, in peace with one another.

Taking us back a wee bit, a revolution was fought against a huge power -- the Church of England; back in the day, this power daily demonstrated all the oppression and taxation and infringes upon liberty one can ever imagine (that is, until perhaps FDR or BHO.....teehee).

And America continued to revolutionize thereafter...be it through a Civil War, the World Wars, the demonstrations throughout the sixties on behalf of civil rights, for one and for all.

While America continues to be a dominate factor, all over the globe,  fighting for freedom and justice and equality and peace and brotherhood everywhere and often.  America IS the beacon of hope on all fronts....still.  If we weren't, then there would be no need for a wall at all, right?

But what we are watching today -- in the Kavanaugh hearings -- is a revolution of the worst kind; for it isn't even based on a truth!  She --  Professor Ford, in the ballroom, with a candlestick (the revolver is no longer a weapon of choice in the new game of Clue, by the way)   --   doesn't even know the truth.

just who's playing who?

The thing is, there is no presumption of innocence until proven guilty for Kavanaugh; he has been tried through the left leaning media, through political tactics of Feinstein and the democrats, through stand up idiots, like Kimmel -- simply because Kavanaugh leans towards a different ideology.

Kavanaugh does NOT believe in the "living Constitution" -- and that being, by definition, pliable to the whims and politics and ideologies of man.  Kavanaugh believes in the Rule of (Actual) Law.

And he seems pretty solid on his facts, too.  Read this from The Patriot Post.

Is this all we have to do now --  sow seeds to vilify, demoralize, slander, and bully someone like a Supreme Court nominee and, in proper formation, take part in publicly, grossly, victimizing the entire family and his/her person, and destroy his entire career and livelihood in one fell swoop?

How have we done, Saul, according to your future projections of man....how have we done?

From Gallatin's final paragraph, at The Patriot Post --

"Kavanaugh realizes that he will have to fight for his good name and reputation not only before the Judiciary Committee but before the court of public opinion. He’s not naive to the fact that at least within the mainstream media he’s guilty until proven innocent. Sensationalism sells."

indeed it does.

Morally -- mainstream media should be ashamed of themselves.  Just who is profiting off of this story?  Certainly not the American people.

just who's playing who?

The good news -- Kavanaugh is prepared to stage his own revolution.  Why?  Because he believes he is on the side of the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  And besides, he doesn't even have anything close to a video library of asking attractive women on live TV a question, like, can you guess what's in my pants?

yeah, Kavanaugh doesn't have that on the record.  Matter of fact, there is no evidence to be found. It's all hearsay, or her-say, like, what ev errr.

But Kimmel does.  Although, at best, I consider this nonsense simply juvenile; but, just maybe, if intoxicated enough, I just might consider it a wee-wee bit funny...or, come forty years from now and growing totally disgusted, almost to the point of feeling violated.  And then, I'll be coming for you, Kimmel.

hahahahahahahahahhahhahaha

the end.

And please, by all means, try as you might to ....

Make it a Good Day, G

It's What a girl Wants for ALL AMERICANS Thing

Dear America,

hail to the chief and his ability to ridicule the democrats right back

....this is just what it will take, folks.

From that last link, above, from a post @ The Hill:

"Never before in American history has a major political party put the interests of lawbreaking foreign nationals ahead of the interests of law abiding Americans. Yet that is exactly what the Democrats have done in holding the government hostage to extract special favors for illegal immigrants."

exactly

and when you put this perspective alongside the position of Chuck Schumer only a few years back...

“[Former House] Speaker [John] Boehner comes in and he says, basically, it’s sorta like this. Someone goes into your house, takes your wife and children hostage, and then says ‘Let’s negotiate over the price of your house.’ You know, we could do the same thing on immigration. We believe strongly in immigration reform. We could say, ‘We’re shutting down the government, we’re not gonna raise the debt ceiling, until you pass immigration reform.’ It would be governmental chaos.”

and from Nancy Pelosi, same time, same batty channel:

“I join the American people in their disgust in what happened in terms of the shutdown of government. That’s an unthinkable tactic to use in a political debate.”

[thank you, Washington Examiner for this closer examination.]

But let's be clear --  Republicans, in 2013, had ALL AMERICAN citizens best interests at heart.  Obamacare, at only three years young,  was already unraveling, proving to be a strain on Americans; the republicans were prepared to stand up for ALL Americans  -- even if it meant holding the government hostage for sixteen days -- in an effort to repair Obamacare's damage against one-sixth of the nation's economy, the nation's healthcare system.  Of course, it was a big fail.

Just as the Schumer Shutdown has proven to be a big fail, just moments ago.

More from the Tommy Hicks Jr. post, as opinion contributor at The Hill:

"They call Americans 'deplorables' and illegal immigrants 'Dreamers.' That tells you everything you need to know about the Democrats’ upside-down world view."

exactly

This says everything; if the republicans don't steal this point and drive it home, at every opportunity to speak from here on out, they will be missing a point of light, as they begin to negotiate a new immigration bill to protect DACA "kids."

What America needs to do is build a better wall -- literally and figuratively.

What America needs to do is simply follow the existing IMMIGRATION law and policy.

What America needs to do is protect AMERICA'S best interests and AMERICANS, neither being deplorable, first and foremost.

America does have a heart....it explains why so many people wish to come to America in the first place.

So what is this all about?
----  Genevieve Woods, The Heritage Foundation, has the answer:

That’s why Democrats are willing to shut down government. The reality is they don’t really want a deal on immigration. They talk about addressing the needs of the DACA population, but they have no time to address the other side of the immigration issue, border security and enforcement.
Here’s the deal. Democrats are fearful that President [Donald] Trump and Republicans could go into the midterm elections with both victories on tax cuts and immigration reform. So at the end of the day, that’s what all of this is about. It’s an election year, and that means politics, not people, are their priority.

Democrats want the votes and a steady stream of democrats flowing into America, unchecked and UNassimilated,  not a problem, undoubtedly.

And more from Genevieve, as to "Why Amnesty Should Not be a Part of Any Deal..." is posted HERE.

One last thing to read, from The Patriot Post's Thomas Gallatin, time to shut Schumer down....

indeed

Happy Anniversary; this girl is pretty sure Trump is here to stay for another three years, folks (primarily targeting dem folks, the leftists and the never Trumpers).  This win characterizes the results of a  President Trump on offense; for another good example, see Tom Brady and the Patriots.  tee hee (what a game, that was, what a game)

Anywho, deal with it.  And more than that, try to ENJOY it, you freaking idiots!

America is booming with tax reforms (for all except maybe California corporations...thank you "Victory Girls" blog); America is becoming less regulated; America is standing up for a sanctity for life;  America is slowly returning healthcare to the free market; America is improving the lives of Americans..... hello?!

Isn't this what ALL Americans really want?

It's what I want; it's what I want for ALL AMERICANS.

The thing is -- this is a good day for America.

It's About Losing the American Huddle Thing

Dear America,

From my little book,  The Quiet Mind:

I, IF I BE LIFTED UP...
If you endeavor to raise the Christ within you, you help to raise all mankind.  You cannot make one effort towards heaven without the whole of the world, even the very earth itself, being the better for it.  See the responsibility that lies with you, Brethren!  What a glorious opportunity is yours! Don't allow the darkness of earth to deny you your birthright of freedom and happiness, of service and worship.  Peace be with you; peace, and a great joy.

this morning finds me continuing to toss and turn the Kaepernick story in my head, to the point of giving myself a concussion; the field of dreams for all Americans has grown into more a war of words, shaming and persecuting and blaming, with lines drawn and everything.  it's as if we can't talk to each other...

We've lost the American huddle.

Now given my favorite thing to do here is continue on a thread for the week, the sting of Kaepernick's sit down has led me to an op-ed in the Washington (com)Post, of all places; it's something written by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.  Even though his perspective leaves a few holes, his overall performance and message is articulated with a tone worthy of an honest couple of minutes reading.  Let me just add, for such a big league, larger than life guy, he sure came off soft, gentle in his findings, thoroughly thoughtful and compassionate on this thing we call Free Speech, et.al. and the rights and privileges for all of us to take part.

My biggest beef with what Colin Kaepernick chose to do was his pick for time and place.

It was not appropriate on that national stage for Colin to personally, metaphorically,  raise his middle finger at the playing of the National Anthem and Color Guard -- no matter what the reason.  Essentially, that is how his actions were perceived; while some cheered along side him secretly, others jeered, and then the entire Colosseum that stands for America came tumbling down, all a-twitter, like one giant pig-pile.

Kareem sums it up by saying this -- "When the government fails in those obligations, it is the responsibility of patriots to speak up and remind them of their duty."

And then I have to ask -- what up with this "when the government fails?" (But more on this in a second...)

Not to mention, his premise (given the title), "Insulting Colin Kaepernick Says More About Our Patriotism Than His" --  just love how Kareem lays the blame and the ball at the foot of the innocents on the sidelines, aghast by what has just happened, as if we should all be ashamed of ourselves for even thinking his sit down called for a dust up.

But let's cut to Kareem's final thought:

"What should horrify Americans is not Kaepernick’s choice to remain seated during the national anthem, but that nearly 50 years after Ali was banned from boxing for his stance and Tommie Smith and John Carlos’s raised fists caused public ostracization and numerous death threats, we still need to call attention to the same racial inequities. Failure to fix this problem is what’s really un-American here."

Yes, indeed, here we are  -- 50 years later -- and just look how the  liberal ideas have failed us in government when it comes to social inequalities...

For the biggest failure within the mindset and ideology of the Left, is the very idea that government is the answer!  Government has never been, and never will be, the answer in making all dreams for all Americans come true.

Read this, from The Patriot Post, (August 17).
In the end, Gallatin says:

"Instead of truly addressing the real problems the Left’s socialist policies have created and exacerbated in the inner city, Demo-gogues turn and blame the problems on those who have the least to do with them. And Clinton is no different as she continues to double down on those old, failed Leftist policies, and calls racist anyone who would dare to challenge and point out their hypocrisy and failure. Sadly, it seems that too many within the black community will continue to accept the victimhood narrative preached by Hillary and other leftist leaders who are all too happy to have pawns at their disposal."
AND for a real shock, as in ice bath, read this!  It's another post by Thomas Gallatin highlighting the Not So Great Society under LBJ.  Talk about ugly.

I hesitate to re-post this, but feel I must, for this explains so much --
(Regarding LBJ’s views on co-opting the black vote, here is his remark regarding the Civil Rights Act of 1957 to Senator Richard Russell (D-GA): “These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference.” And, how about this remark about the Civil Rights Act of 1964, on why he could not make a discrimination case in a Texas district: “There’s more niggers voting there than white folks.” Recorded Message)

What's really UN-American Kareem IS the crime against the African-American community perpetuated by the ill-intentions to use people as a voting block, merely to hold the power.  What's un-American is denying all children, attending school, to learn about America's foundations, respective of the greater good -- the duties and responsibilities of self-reliance, good self-government, and fully independent of government itself.  To understand the very basic nature of the American system of governance, as it was intended back in the days creating our Declarations for Independence, our Bill of Rights,  and nation's Constitution -- is to understand that our government IS NOT OBLIGATED to give the people anything but freedom and liberty.

The welfare, the food stamps, the medicare, the Obamacare...even the Social Security -- all of it -- it's all wrong, unnecessary burdens upon the backs of all taxpayers, and all bad... not one bit of these things was written into the Constitution, and that includes things of the general welfare nature to boot!

As it stands now,
"all federal taxes are factored in, the U.S. tax system as a whole is progressive. The top 0.1% of families pay the equivalent of 39.2% and the bottom 20% have negative tax rates (that is, they get more money back from the government in the form of refundable tax credits than they pay in taxes)."  And to link to this page, a graph showing 95% of the Income taxes paid to the IRS are by those hard working Americans making $50,000/year or more.

If the failure to "fix this problem" deemed un-American becomes Kareem's final point in the end, then my question becomes where does Kareem want to start?  This girl really wants to know -- where do we start?

For it's funny, cuz in a manner of speaking -- don't all things, problems in particular, start with looking at ourselves first?  And upon that premise, could not the African-American community begin at this very place?  Government has not solved the problem because, from government's perspective, they (Socialists/Progressives/Liberals to be exact) like things the way they are -- an entire community, from sea to shining sea, depending upon government every single day,  Slavery anyone?

indeed,
it was meant to shock.

Responsibility to make this thing called life -- with a little liberty -- in the pursuit of happiness (and not the guarantee) is to actually take the personal responsibility.  If you give up the personal responsibility, and basically hand it over to the government, where is the upward mobility in that?

What you get is not only something so totally un-American, but it's something that never changes; you are stuck at whatever level of prosperity and freedom and happiness the government gives to you...pretty much by choice.

This encapsulates one of the biggest lies circling the field today, more detrimental than pain killers and human growth hormones; and it's zigging and zagging, taunting us with quick fixes, masquerading as activism... it's community re-organizing by lifting our nations traditions, values, work ethic, faith, education, and fundamentals up from their roots and redistributing the face and personality and addictions of a fraud, of a brand new America, complete with an unhealthy body of citizens, so totally unrecognizable.  Unrecognizable.

To begin this fix, is to understand it won't be quick.

Trump can't do it overnight, if at all; and Hillary certainly doesn't stand a chance (but of course, she's not planning on it,)

No, we've lost the American huddle -- in the sense that nothing is working how our nation was intended.  Nothing.  Because the something we, as a nation, must do has nothing to do with government.
"You cannot make one effort towards heaven
without the whole of the world,
even the very earth itself, being the better for it..."

"See the responsibility that lies with you, Brethren!"
