That's probably one of her best lines,   "I don’t use those words to just throw bombs...A presidency that creates concentration camps is fascist."  Seriously?

FIRST, @ AOC, just to get it out of the way:  Just where was this outrage when the OBAMA Administration did it?  Were you just too busy bar-tending to rise up against the atrocities way back when and then?

But also, as a matter of record -- it was YOU who invoked the Nazi into the conversation with simply using the phrase, never again.  Even YOU said it means something.  Yes.  It does.  It means something in relationship with the Jews, and more specifically, Jews being held in Nazi Concentration Camps.  It was YOU who made the dots connect.

And in the second, just who is making these decisions to come to our country illegally --  risking life and limb, risking the separation of minors from parents, risking one's own welfare by having to live in a detention center for however length of time...just who is making these people decide to do this?

You mean, like, in an effort to Keep America Great?


Is it authoritarian to know who is coming into our country?  Is it authoritarian to have a system of entering and immigrating into a country legally, like, anywhere?

Because, if you consider it fascist to ask all those interested in immigrating to America to follow the rules already in place, then you must think it absolutely barbarian for what other countries may require --

India
There is no path to legal permanent residency for foreigners who are not of Indian ancestry, except through marriage or by giving up their original citizenship to become naturalised. A person must leave India every five years to re-apply for their long-term visa. Even if you own a business in India and invested heavily in the economy India will never grant you residency.

Gulf States

Switzerland
To be considered for permanent residency you must live in Switzerland for 10 years. To be eligible to do that, you must either be a high-net-worth investor, married to a Swiss partner or be employed by a Swiss company in a highly skilled and well-paid roll. In short, those who want to emigrate to Switzerland have a mountain to climb.

The thing is -- we all know what is happening at AMERICA's southern border.  It is part of the Democratic coup, undermining this administration.  It is about breaking America, by way of a humanitarian crisis at the border, allowing an army of unskilled workers to enter our country, receive benefits, and vote on behalf of the democratic party.  This is about control.  This is about the absence of Rule of Law.  This is about bringing America -- and everything for which she stands -- to a screeching halt.

What's fascist, Little Miss AOC  --  [Which by definition, @google -- "A fascist is a follower of a political philosophy characterized by authoritarian views and a strong central government — and no tolerance for opposing opinions"] is how YOUR PARTY -- an army of democrats, progressives, and socialists --  continually band together to attack conservatives --  those otherwise recognized with opposing views.   Generally speaking -- and you should know this -- conservatives abhor any version of strong central government control, governments that micro-manage every facet of our lives.  We conservatives dig freedom and independence in every way, ya dig?

What's fascist, is the constant pull towards the progressive agenda that your party continually inflicts upon the American people -- without a choice, down our throats and against our will.   It's as if there is absolutely no tolerance for opposing opinions,  no room for even so much as a conversation of our differences, let alone ways to improve our immigration system, let alone ways to manage the abomination happening at the border.

Elections have consequences, right?  The American people spoke (and Russia had nothing to do with it).  The American people voted for Trump primarily due to the immigration/humanitarian problem that continues to swell.

1.  They are being held in what's called a detention center; additionally, no one is performing hard labor as they occupy the shelter (paid for by the American taxpayer), nor are they awaiting execution (see below).

2.  Detention centers are NOT this:   concentration camps -- a place where large numbers of people, especially political prisoners or members of persecuted minorities, are deliberately imprisoned in a relatively small area with inadequate facilities, sometimes to provide forced labor or to await mass execution. The term is most strongly associated with the several hundred camps established by the Nazis in Germany and occupied Europe in 1933–45, among the most infamous being Dachau, Belsen, and Auschwitz. 3.  The illegal person(s) are entering on their own volition, knowing they are breaking the law, knowing there is no place to live other than in one of our detention centers, with families separated.  They don't have to do this, these people.

4.  and besides, just like Chris Cuomo  to Don Lemon:  "A guy who says things that I don't like, whose abusive of the truth, who can be obnoxious for effect, and pander to a group of people in this country is not necessarily a step away from a genocidal maniac."

It's Just a Good Start Thing

must say -- he sounded a wee bit more mature  in this new year, if I'm not mistaken.  teehee

Talking about reaching maturity, whether individually or collectively, this girl is feeling sorta nostalgic on this rather bright and sunny Southern California day; so, on a whim,  a hit on the Day After, above, will link you to my very first blog! This being blog #974... from the serious to nonsensical, suffice it to say, this girl has covered a lot of ground over the last decade; just sayin'.

But oh to God be the Glory that I have lasted this long.  Day in and Day out, altogether it makes 2019 something of a celebratory year.  Traditionally, when referring to years of marriage, the anniversary is marked with gifts of tin or aluminum -- recognizing the resiliency and steadfastness required to make it thus far. So, to put this in perspective -- if this blog keeps producing 'til July 23rd -- I will have surpassed my marital devotion by a whole six months.   Now there's a new years resolution to write home about, eh?

It's Fall Lines, Defined Lines, Border Lines and Punch Lines Thing

wasn't it just a couple years ago, when the Left screamed bloody murder responding to The Donald, when he would not commit to accepting the election results during a debate?  They were, like, oh my gosh...that's just horrifying.  Quoting The Hil-liar-y now: “Let’s be clear about what he is saying and what that means. He is denigrating — he is talking down our democracy. 

that was then, when Hillary saw herself coasting into the Oval Office without so much as a hiccup.  At the time, she felt most certain, that it would be she, not he, who ended up on the right side of the electoral vote tally, in the end --  just like everybody else on the Left who fell in line singing the second verse, same as the first.... I'm with HER!  I'm with HER!

Oh the shock and horror of the results.  Oh the shock and horror of the level of delusion within the ranks; everybody got it wrong; and when I say everybody, this girl is mostly referring to the mainstream media, the pollsters, and how the reality of just so many interpretations of the pulse of the people were so spot OFF.

You know, nearly half of the American people feel one way, veering left (ideologically speaking) --  while miracles upon miracles, making nearly, the entire other half, feeling drawn towards another (ideologically speaking).

So to be clear, at the risk of repeating myself:   half of the country happens to veer in a totally different direction, ideologically, than the other.  [I know; it's weird.]

Nearly half one way; and the other half, another.

Okay?  Are we on the same page yet?

Nearly half of U.S. goes left, while the other half goes right.

Now -- noting "nearly" in equal portion;  but the truth is, many of U.S. happen to fall more in line with the oooey gooey middle.

Of course -- ever since The Donald got elected president, the Left has not only fought the legitimacy of the election results, complicated matters with starting the Russian conspiracy hoax, but have never treated the administration, especially President Trump, himself, with so much as a hint of respect of the office/position of power around the globe. Not even a crumb.

Never mind that election laws are currently being broken left and right; no, scratch that, I mean, left and left; and see also, falling under the heading of leaving no election fraud behind, this.....here ya go.

It's just feels like nonstop nonsense.

It never ends.

And so whatever -- Jim Acosta at CNN gets a judge to restore his press credentials -- big whoopie.  Good luck, Jim, getting called upon ever again.

Can we get back to actually talking policy, in keeping with good governing?
Can we get back to cementing the Rule of Law in areas like immigration, securing border lines and enforcing red lines, protecting not only this nation's sovereignty, but the check books of the American taxpayer?

and oh Macron....typical french punch and pomp...“Nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism,” Macron said [Armistice Day 2018]. “By saying, ‘Our interests first, who cares about the others,’ we erase what a nation holds dearest, what gives it life, what gives it grace and what is essential: its moral values.”  Yeah like if it weren't for caring for the whole world, wonder how WWI would have turned out without the US of A...yeah,you're welcome, France.  And all the while, America held a pretty strong stance on immigration, beholden to our sovereign borders and all. But seriously?  Is that really what Trump is saying, when speaking of keeping America's best interests first and foremost?  Does it immediately extinguish any and all concern for the rest of the world, when in the position of the safe keeping of the American people, American interests?  Does it?Does nationalism really negate any sense of compassion for others, or is this just heated rhetoric over an open fire to make cheap pate out of Trump's remarks?  say oui

Since when did the word nationalism begin to take on extremism as a natural transition...calling a string of words "synonyms" in one breath -- from "patriotism to patriotic sentiment to flag-waving to xenophobia?...chauvinism?  jingoism?"  To be fair -- and balanced -- given all of the last free "synonyms" show "extreme patriotism" also listed as a proper synonym, one would have to question the selective edit.  If you are going to extremes, then you should at least be consistent, right, Google?

Why did patriotism get a pass?  IF there happens to be such a thing as "extreme patriotism" -- and there is -- then where's the complete definition?  Where's the derogatory translation as so freely characterized in nationalism, almost with glee?  Like, there isn't even a list of synonyms included, as divined by design by Google. what up

Now reaching for an old, ancient really, dictionary....you know, the kind we find in print, with its binding showing its age, and picking up, ever so slightly, a funky, musty smell when flipping its pages.  This one just so happens to be The Winston Dictionary, College Edition; and one of the few things I cherish -- as in, probably taking it with me in case of fire,  for it belonged to "pop," my grandfather, dating back to when he was attending Johns Hopkins University.

He was here, in these pages;  and now catching myself hypnotized in thought, just why "wherewithal" and "sympathy" and "finale" were among a spattering of words with check marks next to them. oh well...moving on....It reads like so:

Nationalism -- 1. patriotic feeling, efforts, or principles; devotion to the interests or glory of one's own country; 2. advocacy of , or demand for, national independence; 3. a policy that demands the carrying on of all industries by the nation; 4. an idiom, trait, or custom peculiar to any nation.

Patriotic -- adj.  characterized, or influenced, by love of country.   adv. patriotically.  n. patriotism.

Please note in the margins:  according to The Winston Dictionary, with its first printing nearly one hundred years ago..."patriotism" didn't even warrant its own definition, but "nationalism" did. what up

I mean, c'mon, just a few words from nationalism we find nativism -- the practice of favoring native born citizens rather than immigrants.  philos. the doctrine of innate ideas, or that the mind may receive impressions from within itself.

Wouldn't this be more a synonym to xenophobia, chauvinism, and jingoism?

So something other than fossil fueled cars caused climate change?  A natural wonder, like a volcano, is to blame for catastrophic loss of life and the ability to grow food -- without the help of modern man and the industrial age?  Seriously?  Say it isn't so.

Some might blame it upon the fall lines -- that being, falling directly by party lines; but I would like to think that many of us just think deeply... widely... deliberately... and vigorously.... upon many things day in and day out all on our own and without nefarious influence or outside pressure.

It's Keep Psalm and Trump On Thing

Keep Psalm

Trump On

so waking up this morning, my mind is just a-buzz...

so many things to say and so little time

thoughts overfloweth, yet forced into a sand dial

Taking cues and insight from my itty bitty Bible Handbook, from Nelson's Pocket Reference Series (although it is little -- fitting into an actual pocket falls into the 'slim to none' chance...) -- the Psalms....a book of poetry, really... was written in a style called "parallelism."  This is where "one phrase is followed by another that says essentially the same thing but in a more creative, expressive way."  And the handbook then gives us an example:

"The Lord of hosts is with us;

The God of Jacob is our refuge. (46:11)"

This would be synonymous parallelism.

At other times, antithetic parallelism is used, where the thing of the first line is followed by a direct opposite in the second thing...

"For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,

But the way of the ungodly shall perish.  (1:6)

And even at other times, the second line is just repeating what was said in the first, with the exception of adding emphasis, like a ta dah!  -- and in this manner, it is called progressive parallelism.

"The floods have lifted up, O Lord,

The floods have lifted up their voice (93:3)"

Although, while all of this is aiming to bring me closer to the point, it's sure a round about way of going about it, isn't it?  isn't it.  And still, even though there is more to say, to touch upon on the way the Book of Psalms is written -- from authorship, to style, to the way we might separate and classify the meaning of each of the 150 letters, or Psalms, within -- this girl will have to leave that for another day.

What is compelling is this speak and repeat speech pattern. 

What happens when we hear something repeated?  

It instantaneously becomes better understood;  the emphasis strikes the exclamation cord and as the vibration ripples into the air, no sooner does the first line hit the listener before the second comes in with carrying the one-two punch. 

The thing is, this girl is beginning to see a pattern of President Trump...

He is able to do something, say something, and repeat it all the live long day; he even doubles down on what is says and does all the live long day.  And the next day, he gets up and does it again.

LOVE IT.

And by the way, there is nothing wrong with the TEMPORARY, highly specific and fully precedent-ed immigration vetting tool, fulfilled by executive order and signed last Friday; the one throwing airports and hissy-fit Leftists upside down and beside themselves in protest.   [That link is just a good synopsis of the whole thing....thank you, thank you, to The Patriot Post and Thomas Gallatin]

Sunday afternoon, while the PGA Golf Tournament was playing just down the street from G's, at Torrey Pines, the president said this:

“America is a proud nation of immigrants, 

and we will continue to show compassion 

to those fleeing oppression. 

But we will do so while protecting our own citizens and border,” 

“This is not a Muslim ban, 

as the media is falsely reporting. … 

My first priority will always be to protect 

and serve our country, but as president 

I will find ways to help all those who are suffering.”

The guy is speaking in Psalm.

By Monday afternoon, things went really squirrel-y, and the sitting, temporary, democratic operative and  Attorney General -- placed by the Obama Administration -- was fired!

Gallatin, again @The Patriot Post, upon the news of the firing of the AG, shared a quick afterthought:

"This whole episode epitomizes just how politicized these federal agencies have become after eight years under Barack Obama. He stigmatized Republicans as the enemy and instilled within the federal agencies hard leftist leadership bent on promoting his socialist agenda. He refused to work with Congress in seeking genuine compromise, demanding only that lawmakers capitulate to his leftist vision for the nation. Obama created this politicized mess that, thankfully, Trump is more than ready to clean up."

This morning is reminding me of Trump's methods to meet the madness, and if there is anyone capable of meeting such demands, day in and day out, pretty sure this is the guy; this is the guy!

And considering the past president of late --  President Barack "fundamentally disagrees" Obama -- is already chiming in on the great travesty afoot, oh my great travesty (although, this is through his spokesman, Kevin Lewis) -- don't fall for any of the propaganda! None of it!  Don't fall for it!  And for a little help up, here is a great post @ The Daily Wire, of course, offered up only to anyone lending an ear for serious, reality-based reception, by John Nolte -- DON'T FALL for....

And understand this.

And disregard that.

But make no mistake:  All of that which we are bearing witness -- from the main stream media, to the halls of congress, to the Left coast of Hollywood and Sanctuary -- is designed by and for the Leftists to win; right out of the pages of Rules for Radicals, we are bearing witness to the degradation of every American principle and foundation from the grassroots.   It is as organized as any progressive psalm, and as evil as any free radical can dream.

The only thing to add to this and that and the other is get ready folks, be prepared, for it is only just beginning; welcome to the new world, politicizing every little thing and big thing and the things in between for the next four to eight years.  But let not your heart be troubled:

We are moving on now, redirecting to a member of the House Homeland Security, Rep. Loretta Sanchez  D-CA (who is currently campaigning to take over Sen. Barbara Boxer's seat, as she is retiring finally). Let's just say she isn't confusing love and compassion and naivete with love and reality and eyes wide open.   Sanchez telling Larry King:

...But certainly, we know that there is a small group–and we don’t know how big that is, it can be anywhere between five and 20 percent, from the people that I speak to–that Islam is their religion and who have a desire for a caliphate and to institute that in any way possible, and in particular go after what they consider Western norms, our way of life. They are not content enough to have their way of looking at the world. They want to put their way on everybody in the world. And, again, I don’t know how big that is, and depending on who you talk to, but they’re certainly, they are willing to go to extremes. They are willing to use, and they do use, terrorism. And it is in the name of a very wrong way of looking at Islam.
I don’t fault the president on his verbiage. I want him to understand it–to go after this ISIL, ISIS, Daesh state that people are trying to form. Because it’s going after us.

Let's take a look at this universe sans the pink fluffy unicorns, shall we, Hillary?

In it's entirety, we are looking at a percentage of nearly 2 billion Muslims around the globe, who, for the most part, are all living in love, peace and harmony, of course.  Isn't that just fabulous!  Can you feel the love?  So what are we really talking about here?

Sanchez has the guts to throw out a number.  And just to be clear, it's the number of Muslims who just might get a tickle all up and down their leg about the possibility of reaching the goal of an Islamic caliphate.  And that number is at, or around, 5 to 20%, she says.

So, Loretta, what you are saying is that anywhere from 5 to 400 million Muslims might feel inclined to kill the infidels, and they agree with the moves of ISIS/ISIL tomayto/tomahto?  That's not a whole lot of love.  That's a whole lot of hate; but more important, maybe we should alert the media.

What's debatable, it would seem, is that pesky thin line between love and hate.

And finally on this day,

let's bring in how love Trumps hate, right Hillary...now nearly giddy and clinging to the new campaign pot shot like the leftist queen on crack that she is...But to ensure we are all on the same page, let's begin with what Trump actually said.

All he said was this  (and it's totally notable and quotable for this blog-able) --

 "Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on," his campaign statement said.

He wasn't asking for the Muslims who are already here, and some even being American, to go back to their home country...

He wasn't calling on the "total and complete shutdown" to last forever -- but only until such time "our country's representatives can figure out what is going on"...

"Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life," 

If anywhere from 5 million to 400 million Muslims seek the caliphate and hate infidels so much, they would systematically choose not to live in harmony, but to kill -- then wouldn't Trumps proposal be notable, quotable, reasonable, responsible and more important, doable...just until our country's representatives can figure our what in tarnation is going on... and figure out how to secure our border... and figure out how to protect Americans from every entry into the country?

The San Bernardino shooter, Tashfeen Malik, committed fraud on the famed fiance visa program to enter the United States.   

And she is just one out of anywhere from 5 to 400 million.  One down, 399 million to go?  And may I have mine with a side of chips fried in pork fat, but I digress.

And all this happening while one of our current potential presidents of these United States is insisting on meeting up with this Muslim conundrum with simply more love?

Are you kidding me?

Love may not cost a thing, but freedom isn't free; while our Constitution was designed almost entirely to protect the people from it's leaders.   And this is amusing -- as history proves time and time again, that every UNconstitutional action was often justified by a "good cause."  

Thomas Jefferson:

It would be a dangerous delusion were a confidence in the men of our choice to silence our fears for the safety of our rights; that confidence is everywhere the parent of despotism; free government is founded in jealousy, and not in confidence; it is jealousy, and not confidence, which prescribes limited constitutions to bind down those whom we are obliged to trust with power; that our Constitution has accordingly fixed the limits to which, and no farther, our confidence may go...In questions of power, then, let no more be said of confidence in man, BUT BIND HIM DOWN FROM MISCHIEF BY THE CHAINS OF THE CONSTITUTION.  [The 5000 Year Leap, p.164]

And besides, since 1952, the Immigration and Nationality Act included this little number:

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate,” the 1952 law states.

Boom.  Tanks, Daily Caller.  It is a thin line between love and hate...but the great divide comes about when dealing with what to do about it.  But reality tells us -- somewhere between the farm and table we have issues within our immigration/refugee/visa system and it's exhibiting a total utter breakdown in common sense, and it's hitting us squarely in the gut.

But having said all this and that  -- 

ONE might think that the peaceful, fun-loving, compassionate, moderate Muslims living in America would all wholeheartedly agree with Trump's  kind of selective reasoning on immigration.  

Some do.  And then punished promptly.

Well, as much as I love this day and hate to have to bring it to a close...albeit abruptly, it is finished.

It's America Needs a Few Good Wing-men Thing

sure, this was from a bit ago -- and considering how quickly things, faces, and times change these days, it's probably plum close to irrelevant by now... but no bother, no matter...

Fire one:

"I’m still enjoying what I’m doing, there’s still work to be done.  I’m still the President’s wing-man, so I’m there with my boy.  So we’ll see," Holder said in an interview on the Tom Joyner radio show. [circa 2013, plucked from Politico]

It's incredible the level of corruption; for it's the Department of Justice, not to mention what's going on in another entire branch of government in the Supreme Court, that should be -- of all places, and in all circumstances -- clinging to the virtues and duty of the Rule of Law, not to every whim and fancy and ideology according to the rule of man, even if appointed by several, even if that often looks like an entire body of congress.  

Just where is America's WING-MAN right now?

Here's a serious rebuttal to Holder's wing-man philosophy of justice well served, and it comes from another former U.S. Attorney General -- Michael B. Mukasey:   Justice and the Obama Justice Department, as adapted from a speech in the September edition of Imprimis, a publication of Hillsdale College.

Mukasey sums it up for us like so -- "our country has grown less honest, less fair, and less safe than it ought to be" largely because of the [Justice] department's work.  And then begins, in torpedo fashion, rattling off examples behind enemy lines like a prosecutor who not only knows the law, but respects it above all else.

In the end, Mukasey gives us a warning:

The problems in the DOJ won’t be solved simply by electing a less ideological president in 2016. Many of the political appointees of the past seven years will resign and take up career positions within the department, and once such people receive civil service status, it is virtually impossible to fire them. In other words, the next attorney general will be confronted with a department that’s prepared to resist policy changes. This will require great patience and dedication by the new political appointees in their efforts to return the department to its true mandate—not doing justice according to your own lights, or even according to the lights of the president who appoints you, but defending law and having enough faith in law to believe that the result, more often than not, will be justice.

The thing is, all of this talk about justice isn't really where this American girl wants to hunker down in a bunker on the day.

It's really more about the overall climate we are in -- as a nation.

For we are becoming a nation quite amenable, newly accustomed really,  to the rule of law being changed on the fly.  

And for that reason alone we should stop --  dead in our tracks --  and check the compass.

Fire Two:

To the issue of Paul Ryan becoming Speaker.  Let's regroup and look at the actual navigational charts available, and review where Ryan has been and where Ryan wants to go, shall we [or do we not have your permission to ask such a thing, Mr. Full Consensus Only or Nothing?]

Sounding less like a condition and more like a threat, what would a Ryan speaker-ship do to America?

Can you say OPEN BORDER.   

Talk about a section of the rule of law a Speaker Ryan would aim to have his power change....

The flow of illegal immigration is pure lawlessness, at a real cost of trillions of dollars to our economy, not to mention adding to the multi-cultural weakening of a nation dependent upon a common allegiance to the whole and it's well being, while individually carrying our own packs filled with the fundamentals of self-reliance and rugged independence and courage, alongside the Rule of Law as the real, bona fide, commander in chief (kinda like how a nation of 300 million wing-men and women might look).  

All the while, a possible Speaker Ryan has made his demands clear and his intentions known and will continue to align himself against the sovereign border every time.  

......And just as America elected a President Obama under the guise of hope and change --  America denied looking at the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God.  

......And IF we are not careful -- we will do the same IF this House of Representatives appoints Paul Ryan as speaker.  Boom!

Conservatives need to band together and fight like hell.

We may have won the battle in getting John Boehner to step aside -- but let's not lose the war in letting the position go to Paul Ryan.  It's a position that puts America at risk, for the threat is real; if we fall back asleep, the enemy might not even need to use a gun, but just walk right on in, in the cover of darkness, and have us surrounded before we know any better.  We have struggled to get this far...we must keep going.   Everybody take a wing.

It's an Americanization Thing

Dear America, 

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

how many of us, living in America, would stand with our hand over our heart and say this very same pledge without prejudice... without a doubt... without an ACLU attorney present and by our side?


From The Patriot Post this morning, nearing the end of his column, Mark Alexander's weekly essay told of a story about one of his colleagues, adding a personal dimension while striking hard upon the ramifications if America cannot find the delicate balance of immigration and citizenship.  

As told by Alexander, this fellow patriot, now working alongside him, was born in Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, in the area of Bratislava. By the way he tells it, this colleague grew up with one lifelong dream:  making America his home.  And so it begins, trailblazing his own path to citizenship -- in a country across an ocean and miles further in ideology -- that ultimately took him years... unimaginable initiative... and tireless effort.

Alexander just had to know, just what are his thoughts about America's current immigration reform agenda, and he replied with this:

"Sometimes I wonder why we came here and I struggled so hard to become a U.S. citizen, when the U.S. is moving toward the tyranny I worked so hard to escape.
...The out-of-control government spending and regulations, more government programs and employees, just lead to more corruption and constriction of Liberty. This is a cancer that will kill free enterprise. In Czechoslovakia, the socialist's control and regulation led to political corruption, and no reason to work harder because if you earned more, the government took more to give to others. America is sick with this cancer and it should be removed..."

spoken like a guy who knows from experience. and not finished, he added:

"America needs very strict controls, and those who do become citizens should be 'Americanized' or else America will be no more."

It was Joe Walsh (R), the gentleman from Illinois, who said -- immediately following the sideshow meeting President Obama held with the GOP leaders over the Debt Ceiling Dilemma --  "he has no idea how the free market works" when pressed for some clues about how things went, with Neil Cavuto yesterday; Walsh went a step further, posing the concern that the topic of debt and deficits is just not registering with the leader of the free world. [sure...let's....piggy backing on yesterday's G, picture football flying over head]

Now over two years in, we have proven, for the umpteenth time, stimulus spending, government intervention, and more entitlement just does not work to lift a country out of economic doldrums.  And to that end, the GOP are seeking strong measures to get America back on track.  And while Obama claims he wants to hear what republicans have to say, he has no intention of caving in on his America dream  -- to fundamentally transform her from the inside out. 

What to do, what to do, when a president needs Americanization.

so yes, maybe I am weaving in a wee bit too much for one day.  but the thing is, if you allow me to expand,  there really is a common thread between our debt, our running up of trillion dollar deficits, beside the dangers and  remarkable contrast of the American way of life running in short supply.

The absence of an Americanized citizenry is all around us; we are no longer recreating the americanized role model according to plan; we are no longer living within our means, according to plan; we are no longer speaking one language, according to plan; we are no longer melting into one, unified body of people, under God, according to plan; we are no longer living in community with self-reliant, independent citizenry, according to plan; we are no longer willing and able, if not fully emblazoned, to give respectfully of ourselves to God and country, no matter what comes, according to plan [see pledge at the start]; we are no longer elevating the principles of a true free market society, according to plan...and on and on.

According to a new New Deal, we have entered a new age and by the looks of things, could not care less -- for this is an age where no initiative, no extra effort, no allegiance, no pledge, no prayerful thought is required; and, as a matter of fact,  is frowned upon even.  just follow the bouncing ball...where are we at...

Obama's budget was voted down in the Senate 97 to zero; not one democrat was willing to stick out his allegiance to the president's plan, not one!  Obama is willing to add 2.4 Trillion dollars to our, already, gargantuan national debt of 14.4 Trillion, with no strings attached.  Obama is willing to overlook the illegalities of 12 to 18 million illegal immigrants  votes, disrespectful of the hundreds of thousands of people like this Slovakian colleague of Mark Alexander's, in a Statue of Liberty minute. Obama is willing to jeopardize the nation's solvency by adding another entitlement we cannot afford -- while ignoring the immediate reform needed of the programs we already have.

Obama thinks stimulating a "free market" is accomplished best by adding government jobs, government grants, government bureaucrats, government intervention/regulation/control, all adding 20% to the government bottom line.  As unamerican as an American president can get,  I am willing to bet that Obama is willing to sell America's soul if we let him (and no, I didn't just call him the devil.  I am merely responding to a repeated offense -- with emphasis on a simple question --  just how far is this president willing to go? because I'm not sensing any self-control here.  This man has an agenda that counters every American ideal through and through).

Continuing with the theme of the week,  a jaded G stands with Walsh, President Obama does not understand a true free market -- the very market this country was made, flourished even, rising out of the tireless efforts of immigrants past, those who paved the way and made possible a nation's future... creating... prospering... in the free-est society that ever lived.

But that takes work, a conscience, integrity, even the ability to see far down the road, into the lives of future generations, doesn't it?

A system built upon robbing Peter to pay Paul -- whether it is in the capacity of hardworking Americans feeding the mouths of families here illegally, or whether it is one hand of government feeding the empty coffers of another, it is all the same -- and in no way does it have the capacity to sustain us.   Bernie Madoff economics lasts only as long as the people remain blind, oblivious, and disengaged. And yet, the "progressives of today" and the "socialists of tomorrow" continually challenge this debate -- remaining clearly willing to let the "americanization" part of the equation go.

Perhaps it takes hearing the words of new Americans -- those effervescing the American spirit in every way, those who have had to work awfully hard to get here, who get this from the gut -- to remind us of just what is at stake.

We are in a world of hurt.  A hurt so huge, anyone with half a brain must realize the injustice is not from one party, one cause, building upon one issue larger than next -- it is all of it.  It is a vicious combination, and going viral as we speak, stemming from americans no longer acting and behaving and leading as AMERICANS -- as one voice shining above all the rest, reciting in unison a pledge that binds our hearts and minds forever.  A voice that stands together, willing to do whatever it takes, in order to establish a new life, in a new country, feeding a new dream that can only come living in community within the borders of a truly free society.

As a people, we no longer reflect the American way, the truth, and the Light.

In the meeting with the president, Paul Ryan said it best, “Leadership should come from the top.”

Demonstrating just how far he is willing to go to make things right -- and for me, calling for backup from an article published on The Hill, Ryan capitalizes on his meeting with the president saying to the press, “As far as Medicare is concerned, we wanted to make sure the president understood the facts about our proposal so he doesn’t continue to mischaracterize it. We just needed to clear the air."

Can you just imagine what it is like for a Slovakian waking up as an American citizen for the very first time?  I can only assume every day would be brand new.  No matter the weather, the air would be clearer, fresher, an invigorating burst of new life for a wayward, tiresome soul who spent years making it his reality.

It would behoove each and every one of us to walk out our door right now and take in a good, long breath -- maybe even fall down on bended knee and kiss the ground good.

Americanization is the only way America works.
and with that, my three day jaded spree is sensing a lift...
