It's BE Your Own Caucus Thing

Dear America,

Be Your Own Caucus

and then there were three

(oh, plus the other two bozos...but who's counting the race-baiting, income inequality propagandists...the social re-engineering leftist/socialists/progressives, who are now equally, hellbent on undermining the nation's Constitution while eviscerating American traditions and values , right?)
Now let's get down to the brass tacks, shall we?

Be Your Own Caucus

Last night was enlightening; and this morning, having painstakingly arrived at my inner-pithy-girl core -- let me just say this:  every candidate who did not achieve double digits needs to bow out gracefully right now (and thank you, Huckabee).  The tea leaves have left the building.

Of course, we could just sit tight and see if New Hampshire causes any more stirs, but this girl just isn't seeing it... and my chakras were re-aligned just last Tuesday, so you can trust me.

Be Your Own Caucus

Being your own caucus is not an easy thing to do--  you know, given the depth of distractions, the variance of perceptions, and the intensity of political maneuverings in which we are surrounded in the every day.

A good example of this is found immediately following the last Republican debate -- if you did not watch it with your own two eyes -- the pundits just may have led you astray with the thinking that Jeb may have had one of his best nights and may have given his campaign some life.  Not.  (Sorry, Charlie Krauthammer)

Now -- for me, G -- having watched every maniacal minute -- Jeb did no such thing.  Matter of fact, this girl would be hard pressed to even acknowledge, let alone remember, if he was even on stage, to tell you the truth.

So let's just speed things up a wee bit and skip right over to the Manipura Chakra (the third, if counting) -- it is the source of our personal power, and sits right about the belly button...

and breathe...find your inner faith hill and just breathe.

Be Your Own Caucus

so where are we now?

Now, in the beginning, God created Man...and eventually, we arrived at a place in history when our Founders asked of Americans to do our duty, to God and to country -- having laid the groundwork and poured the foundation and built the cornerstones that elevated the REPUBLIC over two hundred years ago -- in each new generation.

"A people must
 from time to time,
 refresh themselves at the well-spring
of their origin, lest they perish."

"Though, when a people
shall have become incapable
of governing themselves
and fit for a master,
it is of little consequence
from what quarter he comes."

"A frequent recurrence
to the fundamental principles
of the constitution,
and a constant adherence
to those of piety, justice,
 moderation, temperance, industry,
 and frugality are absolutely necessary
 to preserve the advantage
of liberty,
and to maintain a free government."

Coming into enlightenment within the Universe of All Things Encompassing a Free, Limited Government requires activating our inner guru and educating ourselves, meditating on the truth, understanding the fundamentals, and enriching life within the collective by being responsible, self-governing, self-reliant individuals.   There is no other way to get there.

Read The 5000 Year Leap, and you can be one who knows, too. [btw above quotes from The Leap]

Be Your Own Caucus

Let's get through what happened last night...

Marco Rubio - -  aka MR President -- was brilliant. xoxo

Sure, he finished third, but you would never know it by listening to him.   LISTEN NOW.  IF the election were right now, he would get my vote.  Take my word for it -- he had THE BEST SPEECH of the entire night.  Pithy.  Good.  Preaching Conservative everything in perfect pitch.  A little slice of nirvana, through and through...  The thing is -- he is electable, like yesterday.    (I know, I know...that's like two days in a row where I crow about Rubio....weird.  Let's just call it some new found faith for now and move on...)

Now, The Donald ducked out of his speech as quickly as he could, having come in second place, and clearly not winning like he said he would do... because that's all he does, wins.  'We're gonna get sick of winning', he said.

He looked small... as in itty bitty.  Just a speck in the universe.  Which amuses me a bit, you know, given he thought IOWA would be such a cake walk and all...

Allow me to paraphrase his second place acceptance speech:    me, me, me, I love you Iowa, me, me, me, I love you Iowa, back to me...And then he promptly ends his three minutes with a bribe?

Are you kidding me?  He didn't say one thing about being conservative, or the nation's fundamentals, or anything.    Nothing.  Nada.  He's like, gotta go.  Is it just me?  He's not a natural...conservative. (and fyi...about 60% of the country can't stand the guy....this is a problem.)

SO, CRUZ.

hmmmmmmmmm

ommmmmmmmm

and being a real follower of his -- it just pains me to say this...

no. stop.  no.

you're killing me softly, ted.

First, you begin by sounding like a television evangelist.....and you dragged on and on about nothing and yet, too much, simultaneously, in some kind of spontaneous combustion...and then... when you went to your mom... my fifth chakra, Vishuddha , nearly choked me into a sudden death.

And you weren't done!

Next up,  Cousin Bibi...Dad...the American people stories...and then finally to the people of New Hampshire and talking to the camera directly....seriously? Newsflash:  You've only just begun, Ted; you're acting like you won the big one when it was just Iowa -- and a primary!

You, kind sir, carrying on like that, hypothetically have not a chance in hell in the big election IF that election were hypothetically held today.  Just sayin'.   Namaste.  No, really, namaste.

[Before last night, Cruz was only at 37% unfavorable rating, if anyone is keeping track.]

Be Your Own Caucus

This is so hard.

Isn't there a pill we can take for this?

...just breathe...

What I would give for "a thousand petal lotus" right now.  [if scratching your head on that, then may I recommend you head up to review the Chakras link above one    more     time     ommmmmm]

From Alexander Hamilton:

"The fabric of American empire ought to rest on the solid basis of THE CONSENT OF THE PEOPLE.  The streams of national power ought to flow immediately from that pure, original fountain of all legitimate authority."

yes indeed.

And just in case you missed it -- we are that one pure original fountain, now simply effervescing upon our legitimate authority, as we speak.  Iowa just so happened to speak up first.

You do your part and I'll do mine; transcending the mundane, reaching into our own soul, and getting to the truth is all in a day's work, boys and girls.  It takes courage and strength of conviction, sure  -- but it begins with an open and spotless mind, anchored in something far greater than ourselves, and then educated, like the wind... softly blowing against our cheek, on a beach, with the sun shining down upon our shoulders, in everlasting peace.  deep intelligence is mine. And can be yours, too, if you respond in the next......

In God we trust.

Make it a Good Day, G

It's Growing Good Character Against Bad Characters Kind of Thing

Dear America,

enough said.
but no -- not really...
aw shucks, you know me too well...

none of us are born heroes or Olympic champions -- we grow into it; from nothing we grow into something.

Our parents take the lead role in establishing the kind of character building qualities within us from the moment we are welcomed into the world. While over the years, it could be a teacher, a coach, a mentor, a friend -- who makes the assist, accentuating the strengths and eliminating the weaknesses, influencing our growth to the next level.  But all the while, ordinary people create the very opportunity to make a hero, to manifest an Olympiad, to be the change.

so today is a refresher course -- reminding you to go to www.realamericanstories.com

But what started me in this direction this morning?
Hearing an interview on my favorite local talk radio guy, Mike Slater, with Brad Meltzer -- author of Heroes for My Son, and newly released, Heroes for My Daughter.   He's the one who said it -- "none of us are born heroes."   He also orchestrates the website at www.ordinarypeoplechangetheworld.com if you want to see more.

And another timely read comes from the Wall Street Journal, Peggy Noonan's column "Crisis of Character."

she begins going something like this:

"I've long thought that public dissatisfaction is about more than the economy, that it's also about our culture, or rather the flat, brute, highly sexualized thing we call our culture.

Now I'd go a step beyond that. I think more and more people are worried about the American character—who we are and what kind of adults we are raising.

Every story that has broken through the past few weeks has been about who we are as a people. And they are all disturbing."

She quickly moves through current back up -- flash mobs with juvenile delinquents destroying 'five and dimes', General Services Administration blowing through the people's money, and the latest Secret Service scandal down in Cartagena, Columbia --  and ends going something like this:
"Special thanks to the person who invented casual Friday. Now it's casual everyday in America. But when you lower standards people don't decide to give you more, they give you less...

In isolation, these stories may sound like the usual sins and scandals, but in the aggregate they seem like something more disturbing, more laden with implication, don't they? And again, these are only from the past week.

The leveling or deterioration of public behavior has got to be worrying people who have enough years on them to judge with some perspective.

Something seems to be going terribly wrong.

Maybe we have to stop and think about this."

you know, when I see something going seriously wrong in public -- usually by the 'kids today' but not always -- I think to myself, and sometimes aloud, 'just where is your mother..'

and now, thinking of the contrast in-between -- how we began on the day and how we have deteriorated...I just realized it can all happen so terribly fast.  Things just get out of hand; someone makes the wrong move; we do something stupid and behave badly.

Like Peggy said, "maybe we have to stop and think about this."

But I also think, we may be onto something -- in returning to the role, and duty, of both mom and dad.

I believe it doesn't get anymore uncomplicated than that.

Make it a Good Day, G

I guess Peggy's column was already in print before the crazy behavior of a B-ball player -- Metta World Peace.  yeah, funny, isn't it?  The Lakers player formerly known as Ron Artest changed his name to "Metta World Peace" on purpose and then does something like this...go figure.

just another sign of the times...just another sign of the times...little boys everywhere probably thought he was being cool like that...I wonder if any of their mamas or papas told them it was stupid and not to do something like that EVER...and if they did, that they would (fill in the blank)......hmmmm

It's a ONE in Twenty-Three Thing

Dear America,

happy thursday x

so
as if I didn't already have a million thoughts going through my head this morning -- something that I just heard from my favorite young gun conservative talk radio program here in San Diego, beginning live at six a.m. on 760 KFMB -- the Mike Slater Show -- just said something that made me go wow.

Are you a Slater Crusader?  Did you hear what he just said?

Slater was reminding all of us of just how LUCKY we are to be born in the US of A.  There are 7 BILLION people on this planet and only 300 million are here, living in America, the greatest nation to experience life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. [which within seconds, a caller crunched the numbers even further and broke it down to a ONE in twenty three chance of being born HERE -- instead of Botswana, or Bolivia, or Bangkok]

Slater pointed out that because of this rare occurrence of being born in the country famous for freedom and liberty FOR ALL, we bear the full responsibility of upholding our inherent duty to it.  [aka the reality that freedom does not come free].

As highlighted in brilliant moments of last night's debate, we, as AMERICANS, have the freedom of protecting  and honoring our America along with enjoying it's perks [which we, by the show of the last fifty years, have learned to totally take for granted].

As one example, most every GOP player recognized that in order to fix the daily abuses of immigrating to America, we need to return to our roots -- beckoning all of us to come together with compassion, while holding tight to the expectation of every immigrant to assimilate with the whole in every way.

Breaking this down further -- and after making sure that our border was made secure to the best of it's ability --  this means requiring corporate America and business to uphold our employment laws already on the books; it demands English to be the official language; it expects those who chose to come to America to abide by our Rule of Law, and be fully respectful of fellow Americans, communities, and for all intents and purposes, to be just plain good people; in other words, the process of assimilation is a duty not a right.

But the real question remains, just how can we expect so much from our immigrants when we fail to do the same... considering that we, as Americans in general, have all but forgotten this inherent duty to each other, ourselves, and this country?  Talk about hypocrisy.

Now, on more than one occasion here on G thing, I have humbly proclaimed my own fall from grace; I admit wholeheartedly that I have made mistakes here -- I have taken my own freedoms and liberties for granted -- I have lived aloof and disconnected to my duty to my country -- I have fallen away from understanding my own responsibility to protect, defend, and honor the exceptional and inspirational place in which we live -- I am guilty.  I do not claim to be an expert nor do I believe my way of thinking ranks above anyone else. Each and every one of us is entitled to our own beliefs, arrived by our own experiences, personal evolution, and conscience.

Even if I never say this again, there is not a day that goes by when in fact I do not recognize how little I really am.  I am this big...which means, really small.

AND when it comes to our duty to each other and our country, what I really mean is that it is not so much about what you have to do at all and, in all honesty,  is more about me; this is the context I wish you never forget.

Contrary to what you might think, every pondering post upon
It's a G Thing
is less about absolutes and more about keeping a daily dialog with my self -- that pesky little old me --  and my country.  It details what I must do; it spells out how I might think; it capitalizes on what I must learn; it outlines what action I must take; it illuminates the direction I should go -- all according to me, G, just a girl, and according to a day in the life in America.  Also known as the place glorified by the rest of the world ...a place where the ONE in twenty-three deem really, really special... and why?

Because it is special here.
But more important --
we must ask ourselves,
how did we get here...
just what makes US so special?

What are the things
that make America
so exceptional,
so free,
so prosperous,
so worthy of our respect and unwavering defense?

It certainly couldn't be found in the latest discovery of medicare fraud that makes us so special.

It certainly couldn't be the robbery of the corner store and neighborhood bank that makes us so endearing.

It certainly couldn't be found in the rape and assault and murder of our fellow countrymen and women that makes us so attractive.

It certainly couldn't be found in the masterminding of ways to separate and disconnect us from each other, through the manufacturing of a false divide by religion, color, class or community that makes us so beautiful.

It certainly couldn't be found in the unlimited power of government frivolously spending our hard earned dollars, through entitlements, social security ponzi schemes, and the like [go Perry!] that makes us so exceptional.

It certainly couldn't be found in permitting the illegal crossing of our borders to find a better life, abusing our system and taking advantage of our compassion,  while disregarding all of those who venture to come to America legally, that makes us so loveable.

It certainly couldn't be through phony stimulus plans, too big to fail bailouts, overzealous governmental regulations, the devaluing of our dollar, the printing of money, the exponential growth of government that makes us so worthy.

It certainly couldn't be our losing of our religion altogether that makes us so good.

Just what makes us so special now?  It certainly couldn't be any of these things -- and this isn't even a complete list.  We are becoming just as muddled and mixed up as the rest of the world.  Why would anyone want to come here now?

so we had a GOP debate last night...and all I know is this:

I want a straight shooter coming into the presidency next time around.

I want someone who will honor and protect the America of the proverbial yesterday.

I want a return to universal values and principles that REALLY ARE proven (without the need for a scientist to prove or disprove and "settle" for us outside of our own fair and liberal use of common sense applied...and if you watched the debate you would know what I mean).

I want to live in a country with 300 million other Americans appreciative of our foundation, aligned with the full protection of our country's fundamentals, and fully prepared to do our duty to ourselves, each other, and our country in every way.

It may have been just my lucky stars to have been born here, at this time, in this age; and to question THAT, in and of itself, may take the rest of my life to figure out why, if not also require of me my full attention to the itty bitty details of life here in America.

Answering the age old question as to why we are here -- and why here, why not over there -- is fundamental to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness no matter where you are born.  It pushes us to find our way in life; it forces us to recognize what is inside us, what we are made of, what is it that makes us so special in order to give back to community, humanity, family, God, and life itself.

"All that is necessary
for the triumph of evil
is that good men do nothing."
Edmund Burke

Make it a Good Day, G

so, hey, don't forget to watch the president tonight...
...four in the afternoon here on the west coast...
...gonna have to leave the office quite possibly by three, depending upon your commute...
...but make no mistake, I am sure it will be worth it:
He will be announcing more spending (rumored to be at almost half a trillion dollars now) -- provide for an "Infrastructure Bank" (as if bank and infrastructure and the Fed in the same sentence doesn't print enough red flags to circle the world over 300 million times) -- continuation of the payroll tax deductions for another year -- extreme defense department cuts by jeopardizing our security success in Iraq, by way of making drastic reduction of 40,000 troops there and leaving "3000" to fend for themselves -- a call for the gang of twelve to settle the cut/cap/balance debate to "get it done" before November -- and what speech would be without diminishing, discrediting, and ridiculing the importance of the republican stance/demands -- and all in all, clinging to his Keynesian roots as the answer for everything.
