It's a Blog On the Run Thing

Dear America,

in all seriousness, summer needs to stop now...

What the world needs now,
besides love, sweet love, is a return to routine,
discipline,
order,
and maybe even posting a blog more often than once a week (speaking only for yours truly, that is).

Yes indeed, it's gonna be bliss...September; early to bed, early to rise, making this girl healthy, wealthy and wise, uh rah.

But make no mistake --  it will be a time for no more funny business, cross my heart and pinkie promise [that being said:  little old gthang here can only extend the promise for as long as the antics of the character-in-chief allows, see back of the blog for details].

It's gonna be all business, all the time, blahg, blahg, blahg.  'Cuz let's face it -- around here -- taking anything more than two or three days between blogs creates a situation.

What, with the mayor of the eighth largest city in America, Boob Filner, behaving badly and off for a two-week course correction/retreat/therapy session...surely to return to City Hall "all better"...yeah, okay...

We go from an America's Finest City absurdity to a full scale tragedy within hours of each other...

Beginning Sunday, and subsequently consuming the local news late into Monday night -- a statewide Amber Alert was issued after a miserable excuse of a human being has a mid-life crisis, abducting a family friend's 16 year old girl because he had a creepy crush  (and oh, having already killed her mom, and possibly her brother, and leaving them to burn in their home).  Over the last couple of days, the Amber Alert has been extended to multiple states...

While heartbreak reality double-check reminds me, this is just San Diego.

Multiply by fifty and things quickly spin out of control; there is just too much. 

I mean, how can a sharp, discriminating, beautiful mind make up her mind as to what truly remains the one most pertinent thing?  Naturally -- after merely a couple of days -- that one true thing that seems to define the day suddenly becomes this elusive, slippery sucker, one that proves to be of greater potential for becoming the one that got away, rather than the one.  

After all the hunting and gathering and searching and linking, everything simply becomes too overwhelming, depressing, debilitating even. 

But not for this president.

No -- when the days get rough, when the phony scandals get too out of hand, when leading by controversy, crisis, and conspiracy appears surprisingly easier than from behind, this president takes all seriousness off the table and visits The Tonight Show.

The post more or less begins,

"Last night, to show you how the country is changing in a very serious way, last night was the first time since this massive upgraded terror warning was put into effect on Sunday, this was the first time the president of the United States spoke to the American people about this," Limbaugh reminded his audience. "The president of the United States went to a late-night comedy show for his first-ever statement about this increased terror threat.  A late-night comedy show."

Need we say more?

So about this "terror threat" -- a couple things:

When the president claims "the tide of war is receding" --
When he insists that al-Qaeda is "on the run"  --
do we need to wonder about that when he shuts down twenty one embassies and consulates for a month?

Guessing it works best like a best laid joke, right Jay?  Perhaps the timing should be taken into account.  After all --  after Snowden -- somehow validating the intrusive, privacy-robbing activity of the NSA might be the underlying motive and just the ticket to move public opionion into a more favorable perception.  While I can't think of any better place than The Tonight Show to discuss the day's terror threat turn of events, can you?

But just have to wonder some more,  given the whole entire world knows of America's wide net of surveillance:  just why would al-Qaeda hold a massive conference call outlining a credible attack when they know there is a pretty strong possibility suits with skinny ties and sunglasses are listening?

As the euronews piece points out, almost with glee:   "Some analysts have suggested that emphasizing the work of the National Security Agency in intercepting terrorist emails is a good way to deflect from the controversy over revelations about the US’s mass surveillance programme of citizens around the world." 

exactly.

But then, per the State Department, TUESDAY -- as in two days ago:   "Al Qaeda core has been weakened, decimated;"  while this is from the president, speaking in San Diego, at Camp Pendleton, just today, WEDNESDAY:  "The core of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan is on the way to defeat."

oh really?

so call me funny, but then why did we need to close our embassy doors?

And then there is this in the  not-so-funny category on the day -- something found on a recent page from American Thinker and pointed out to me from my papa just yesterday.  It's an analysis upon an analysis, actually.  And it begins innocently enough by shedding a little light on an opinion of Bill Krystal, of the Weekly Standard, who believes the position of the administration, closing 21 embassy/consulate doors for the month of August, is a sign of weakness.

Even as the article titled "World War III?", posted by Fay Voshell, might concur, it also squarely addresses the underpinnings of a more sinister evolution --  the deconstruction of a civil war or two with the generation of a third World War.  According to Voshell, it seems to all add up.

"But another chief player may already have signaled the U.S. that she is about to do a pre-emptive strike.  While the world is focused in the utterly useless Middle East "peace talks," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, knowing beforehand that the talks will be absolutely fruitless, could have already made the decision to strike Iran's nuclear facilities.  It may be that he has already sent word to President Obama, who, with the Benghazi fires still burning in the minds of the conservative media as well as in the hearts of some congressmen, is now committed to retreat.  The administration does not want a dozen Benghazi-type incidents to occur before the elections of 2014 and 2016.  It would be more politically expedient to close the embassies and warn Americans not to travel rather than to risk protecting either the diplomatic outposts or American citizens.

When embassies are closed, it is usually because war is imminent.

Wondering, too, why just the month of August for these closures?   Wouldn't it make more sense to close all the way through the eleventh of September?  Just sayin'.   Haven't we been here before? 

If we are going to arbitrarily close up shop -- whether through weakness or strength -- what's another two weeks?   Given the track record, if Susan Rice is gonna make her first National Security debut, wouldn't she prefer to err on the side of caution as another 9/11 is just around the corner?   -- it's like,  we can all see it, we know it's there, why stop short as if obligated alongside the seasonal loss of the white shoes and flip flops?  

If you ask me -- me thinks the whole thing has been created out of thin skin. 

• The closures are to validate the decision making of a president best known for leading from behind; he's playing catch up. 
• The closures are overcompensating out of the abundance of Benghazi blunders --  mistakes that made this president and this administration look ridiculously vulnerable, remarkably unprepared, and totally misguided of the strength of al-Qaeda spinoff groups [the rumored gun smuggling ambitions need to be left for  another discussion] and tragically killed 4 Americans. 
• The closures bring credibility to the president's surveillance upon patriots and extremists alike  for the sake of "liberty and security" of course, ushering America into a new era and fully welcoming the police state to our gorgeous, sandy-beached shores...it's for our own good, you know, under the dome of deception and mass control.   [It's creepy.]
• The closures are more indicative of a little BO taking his toys and going home, either pouting or pissed.  It's just one more "phony", scandalous act of cowardice.

The tide of war is receding, eventually --

summer is retreating, most definitely --

either way, routine, discipline, order will rule the day and be restored.

It's a Shot into the Soul of America Thing

Dear America,

There is a time for compromising and then there is a time for compromising and then there is a time for really, really compromising -- not to be confused with totally losing all scruples.

It's another happy monday and my mind has turned to mush; the over-soul is working overtime.

What is with us these days?  Dare I say, the fixation on doing the wrong thing is winning.  And when I say 'winning' we might as well be letting Charlie Sheen tell it.

Ooooh do tell, just how many jokes have been penned off the title of the book alone? 

"ALL IN."  Really?  really? 

But here we are, about three days into the stunning news surrounding a general and his mistress ...or is it two... when the timing couldn't be better, right?  The old dog was set to meet before congress on Benghazi and answer a few pertinent questions on the decision process, the security issues in the region, etc., etc. and lo and behold, poof.

Slowly, but Shirley, all prime time witnesses to the security breach, and ultimate loss of four Americans, are leaving all countrymen behind -- Clinton, Ham, Petraeus...Here's some plenty good,  good and plenty commentary from Political Outcast and Tad Cronn.

Rumor has it, the president knew about the infidelity months ago, but delayed action until after the election.

Cover up is ALL this administration really knows how to do -- either by way of hardcore and direct action or killing us softly through clandestine meetings, propagandized speeches, overthrows, and  otherwise promoting deviant American policy beginning with the "apology tour" and muscling through the "Arab Spring".... all while dismissing  homegrown terrorism at Fort Hood..... to the evolution of leaving Israel behind.... to Benghazi -- and lest we forget all the green energy loan fraud, Fast & Furious gun running, and the Secret Service simply tying one on....oooooh scandalous...

All in all, America's weakness as a whole has become the new compromise, the new cool; while American foreign policy is now a story of compromise compounded by more compromise.   Does anyone even know what our mission over-there is anymore?

Considering it is Veteran's Day Weekend, after all, gone are the days when we were all equally effected by wartime -- giving up our nylons, going to work in factories while the men went off to battle, making do without for the benefit of the whole.  Gone are the days we felt the war no matter how many hundreds of miles away.

Fast forward to the naked eye of a typical countryman today, it all looks the same, doesn't it; life hasn't changed all that much in the day to day even though we are at war, abroad...  And besides, whether we pull the lever for an Obama presidency or a Romney, what does it really matter, right -- especially to all of you who were 'on the fence' along with the libertarians and those too principled to a fault?

TO everything turn, turn, turn to mush.

One might think we all have our spy-cams up and operating.  It's been fast times for furious sake, sensing the all night stake-out with a donut and a cup of coffee is no longer a thing of the few and the far between; we might as well get used to this; whatever it takes in the call of duty for heat-seekers and truth keepers.   The FBI investigates the CIA who investigates the FBI who investigates the CIA; and in and around it all we look to the Department of Justice -- and not to be outdone or out-sourced, we get to Congressional Hearings laying it all out with reputations on the line and everything.......oooooh..... As America watches it all on live feed, on daytime TV, on Sunday morning talk shows, on cable news, on-line, twenty four seven. 

Of course we are going to get to the bottom of it!

But let's not dwell on this thought for long; heaven help us if the jaded G-nie gets out of her bottle already; the week has only just begun.

You know what I want for Christmas?  I want us to be ALL IN for America, that's what I want.

Enough with the compromise, enough with the gray area, enough with walking the fine line between good and evil, and ending up just making excuses for not doing the right thing in the first place.  Enough.

Here's a newsflash: doing the right is hard today just as much as it was hard yesterday; while surprise! in the 'to be expected' category, it will be every bit as hard tomorrow.  

And now back to my main squeeze on the day, Emerson:

Let's make an abrupt about-face, shall we, and go to the great one and Compromiser-in-Chief:

I am open, and yet, REFUSE to accept ANY approach that isn't "balanced."

I am open, and yet, my idea of a balanced approach supersedes yours.

We hear a fair and balanced compromise, and yet he will veto any approach that doesn't 'balance' TAX increases for every one making $250,000, or more, into the mix.  [um, last I checked, 250k isn't even close to a million dollars....but that's the president's magic number.. and the election, oh it gave him the mandate of the people to go for it...yeah, he's kinda cool like that....so let's go...]

I am open to new ideas, only if those ideas mirror mine.

I am open to compromise, as long as it's the other side doing the compromising.

Yes, you do sound open; you are like ALL IN, aren't you, Mr. President.

You are so open we can see right through you; just the picture of transparency, justice, openness, and light -- doing the right thing for the betterment of the whole is like your middle name.

Yes. You're probably right, Mr. President; let's raise taxes in a recession, indeed and jolly good.   Business owners, large and small, will just pass it on to the consumers; risk takers will just hold off putting up the risk; government will reign once again over the weaknesses of humanity; everybody wins! oh happy days are here again.

This girl's got news for you -- it isn't about 'to tax or not to tax'....even with someone out of the republican peanut gallery leading the charge [and that's just a nod to you, Bill Kristol].

The Grand Bargain beget The Grand Compromise beget The Grand Fraud --or is it, The Grand Bankruptcy -- either way, you beget my drift.

We have compromised on each and every American fundamental --

• we have compromised on the "free market"; 
• we have compromised on the freedom to pursue one's own happiness for all the marbles; 
• we have compromised on our cultural, political, business and personal morals; 
• we have compromised on what is right and what is wrong [sure, it's the same thing, just seeing if you are paying attention]; 
• we have compromised on our Unfunded Liabilities;
• we have compromised on how we define "transparency" and  "cover-up"; "tyranny" and "socialism";
• we have compromised on our agreement to keep a smaller, limited government; 
• we have compromised on the Rule of Law, our Constitution; 
• we have compromised on our National Debt;
• we have compromised on holding our children to a higher standard of excellence in education;
• we have compromised on keeping the faith in Divine Providence.

Why not taxes, right? Never mind that a revolution was the result beginning back on December 16, 1773.

Compromise -- by definition, in the worst sense of the word, and in action according to real life -- has put us into this mess, this mush.

America's position in the world -- within and without --  is so compromised, why stop now? [There she is! Welcome to the party my jaded little G-nie]

Maybe we can't stop. We are only human, you know.

Maybe it's like juggling a wife and kids with a mistress or two -- eventually the charade takes far more energy than is reasonable, sensible.  Slowly, but Shirley, somethings gotta give.  [Not to mention, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.]

It's something that can happen to any one of us.  It's merely the natural progression whenever we compromise on the merits, the principle, the integrity of our life; we bend and twist and turn, pushing it to the limits, all in and over time and perhaps with countless bottles of wine, when the over-soul says stop --enough -- and breaks into multiple shards and pieces all over the place. 

Boom.

it's like a shot heard round the world if not right into the soul of America.

It's TIME to Stop Apologizing RIGHT NOW among other THINGS

Dear America,

day three of: 

 "Obama, Obama, There's Still a Billion Osama's"

and day four of the strike.

This is America under the Barack Obama leadership.

I just found a new place on the world wide web to hang.   It's called The Corner.  And the post from the evening of September 11th was a doozy, written by the Andrew McCarthy.  Jonah Goldberg, who wrote the first post for the hot spot back in 2002, describes The Corner going something like this:   "home for Volcano-Lancing news, congressional handicapping, arguments about American exceptionalism and updates on the Islamification of Europe."

Jonah, I do believe an edit is in order.

What about updates on the Islamification of America?  

Oh G, did you have to go there?  and so early in the day?

How come our media still sits all googli-eyed at this president of ours?    Where is the re-play, one after the other of the people chanting:  "obama, obama, there's a billion osama's" ?

What happened September 11th of 2012 were PLANNED attacks: the embassy's were well aware, the state department was well aware, and our president -- who's simply been campaigning non-stop -- was still very much aware.  Remember now, he READS all about the Intelligence Reports every single day.

 McCarthy includes a stunning, informative, knowledgeable response featured on another website, RadicalIslam.org's, Clare Lopez -- former CIA Operations Officer.  In it, she summarizes:

"We are witnessing the stepped process of the Islamization of American domestic and foreign policy unfold before our eyes and in accordance with both Sayyed Qutb’s classic book “Milestones,” as well as a November 2011 fatwa from Yousef al-Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s senior jurist, in which he said, “Gradualism in applying the Sharia is a wise requirement to follow.”

 hm. which reminds me....just what was that nonsense Michele Bachmann was mumbling about...something that even John McCain made political hay poking fun at her?   Oh right.  THIS:

“The national security of our country depends on getting straight answers from the Inspectors General to the questions we posed in these letters…The Muslim Brotherhood is not shy about their call for jihad against the United States. We seek answers through these letters because we will not tolerate this group and its affiliates holding positions of power in our government or influencing our nation’s leaders.” Michele Bachmann

All she wanted was a simple inquiry.  And she got attacked from one of her own and many more.  She was made out to be a fool.    Really?

The end goal for radicalized Muslims is Sharia Law worldwide.  Sharia is incompatible with Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom to Bear Arms, Freedom to Live Freely in the United States of America...just to name a few issues off the top of my head.

And what is America doing?

We double-down on the apology to Muslims, and run scared.  

As we speak, Hillary just got finished apologizing AGAIN; basically addressing the world for the umpteenth time to let everyone know how sorry we are for being the cause of such an horrific turn of events, beginning with hurting the feelings of Muslims everywhere; did I mention she apologized?  Saying the film is so disgusting and reprehensible...pontificating about all the ways "this film" and the people who produced it, along with this putrid expression of free speech from which it came, is perverse, wrong, and in no way a reflection of this administration and these United States....oh -- and then getting around to what seemed like an after thought:   'and oh, yeah, but what you guys did was bad, vewy vewy bad.'

Some time over the next couple of days, I intend to buy a book.  My favorite morning talk-radio guy in San Diego, Mike Slater, had the author on, Elan Journo, discussing all the ways we have got this wrong.

One thing that stands out from the five minutes I heard was this:  we have failed to come at the problem from a position of real strength.   We talk big, but act small.  We speak with conviction, but respond with mixed messages. We try to neutralize the enemy, by begging for their mercy.

How can we expect radical Islam to respect anything we say or do at this point?

They are laughing at us.  And more important, in no uncertain terms, they are all Osama's now.

What has crumbled over the last couple of decades is just the threat itself.  We have lost it.  The threat of America's power and might being enough to squelch anything -- whether a little protest, to a full-blown uprising, to an act of war -- is no longer a deterrent of any measure.

In order to have that, it takes courage to speak our truth even if it might hurt some feelings and follow through what we say we will do.  

In order to uphold it, it takes a vibrant, wealthy, robust economy -- one that is able to build and maintain a Navy, an Army, an AirForce, and a big bad band of Marines coupled with the clear and present danger of our intent to protect, and attack if need be, from the top down and the bottom up. 

In order for that military to be seen and not heard nor put into harm's way, is the threat to use our force being so real, and so strong, and so formidable, nobody tries anything.  nobody.

Our leaders -- along with a complicit populace who have grown more interested in the Kardashians and free abortions than keeping their republic on the map  -- have placed America over a barrel economically, politically, culturally, morally, spiritually - - you name it, and we're over it.

Let G put it this way: we are no longer coming from a Reagan-esque position of true grit and Strength - - that just requires too much effort, too much work, too much money we don't have, too much moral accountability to count, to much of a backbone.

Guess what?  It doesn't matter when Romney spoke out against the outrageous response of this administration.  Before, after, it doesn't matter.  Out of turn -- whatever.   His conviction and argument still stands.  This is a guy who thinks and speaks like he wants to be the next president of the United States -- and  for all the right reasons.  [just what did President Obama fit in yesterday -- a fundraiser in Las Vegas -- just hours after Americans were attacked and killed, he's stumping?]

Sure, our heart matters a whole lot; but let me tell you, we won't survive without a backbone.

An image just popped into my head.   The snake is nearly all backbone.

Now, just where have I seen a flag using a snake --- hmmmm -----

of course, we have the Gadsden Flag:   "Don't Tread on Me."

and we have Benjamin Franklin's, "Join or Die"

It is time for all Americans to stand together, to join or die, from a position of strength.

Clearly, the world is being De-stabilized in ways way beyond our level of expertise or ability to accept as truth; we are way beyond the politically correct assumption all Muslims come in peace.   At least Romney respects the truth of calling what is, is -- with the backbone to say it outloud.

It is deplorable that this state department and this administration chooses foreign policy that just walks around bowing, apologizing, and kissing ass.

This girl is just sick of it.

I think it's time to bring all our boys and girls home -- every single one of them -- I've got a bad feeling about this; bring everybody home except for keeping some operations at sea to go to Israel's aid, if need be.

It is time to full-stop sending one dime on borrowed time in foreign aid to the haters.  Go here to see it all laid out.

It's time to say what we mean and mean what we say -- to all governments around the world, friend or foe.

It's time to get our house in order -- begin austerity measures in federal spending, reform entitlements, pay down debt, cut the deficit and mandate balanced budgets (equally important, operate from a congressional  budget, something we haven't had for three years).

It's time to get our personal house in order.

It's time for new leadership.

It's time to restore America's exceptionalism in every way.  They may very well all be Osama's now ---but we, the people, are Americans and live in the greatest country on earth in these United States.

It's time to come at this from a position of strength; but what do I know, I'm just a girl capturing a day in the life of America.

It's a Lacking of Proficiency and Substance and Real Strength Thing

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.

oh really?  we're sorry for the bad behavior of a few bad seeds, please don't do anything rash.  We apologize for a couple of Americans -- and "firmly reject the actions by those WHO ABUSE the UNIVERSAL right of FREE SPEECH to hurt the religious beliefs of others?"

Not that it makes it anymore right, but THESE PEOPLE are speaking on American soil where free speech is still king. There is no reason for this apology whatsoever.

"In Washington, state department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said the US was working with Egyptian authorities to try to restore order. [before anything really bad happened]

Almost all the staff had left before the embassy was breached, a US official said. Only a few staff members were still inside, as embassy security had sent most staff home early after learning of the upcoming protest. The situation is still fluid, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to speak publicly on the matter."  for more, go here.

...so... just to bring you all up to speed --  the official apology by our administration, specifically via the web pages of the US. Embassy in Cairo, extended to the region's Islamic majority, occurred AFTER the State Department caught wind of the growing "discontent" and made our people clear out [following the release of an unsanctioned video widely assumed to be produced by that creepy  preacher down in Florida ...BUT it wasn't him; he was only publicizing it; it was a guy named Sam who made it -- go here for more]  BUT the apology came BEFORE the invasion of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.  The apology was intended to curb the crazy.  And as we all know now, the Angry-Arab-Birds-of-Hope-Springs-Eternal flew and spewed anyway.

But later in the day, the administration "disavowed" our own embassy's apology, clarifying:

"Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet.  The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.  Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation.  But let me be clear:  There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind."   Hillary Clinton

I'm sorry, but where is the president on this one? [it's not about Romney]

During the course of the day, we had the US Embassy in Cairo invaded, taking our American flag down and raising the Al Queda flag; our US Ambassador in Libya and THREE American Consulate workers die in Benghazi, at the US Embassy in Libya; while the administration turns down a request by Benjamin Netanyahu for a meeting with Obama, when in the country for the gathering at the United Nations come the end of September.

The world has changed as we know it, as political correctness dictates foreign policy in the Obama Administration:  Remember this:

"Umbrella term" -- from the day he said this, America's response has been entirely wrong about the Muslim Brotherhood, the Arab Spring, the caliphate, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iran...

Oh yes...and continuing our drone thread fly-over from yesterday -- the world has changed as we know it.

And where is the President?  [it's not about Romney]

Where is his immediate and unequivocal condemnation of these acts across the Middle East?  [it's not about Romney]

Where is our leader?  [it's not about Romney]

Oh right -- getting picked up over the shoulder of a pizza guy somewhere in the midwest; he's campaigning.

Where is our leader?  He should be speaking up and joining forces with his buddy in Chicago, Rahm -- telling 25,000 teachers to go back to work on behalf of the much needed education of the 400,000 students within the Chicago School System [as stellar a school system as it sounds --  80% of 8th graders lack proficiency in math, with "79%" lacking proficiency in reading -- curious as to why they just didn't round that one up...what ever].  The big hulla-balloo-list is mainly over teacher proficiency:

Forget the strike, every single one of them should be fired.  Hey, UN-employed, or UNDER-employed, teachers around the nation -- have I got a plan for you...I dare you to cross the picket line -- and I dare Rahm to hire you. But ain't that just a pipe dream out of the sixties.

But make no mistake: CHICAGO IS DOING SOMETHING WRONG THERE; perhaps it is something fraudulent, maybe even criminal, or what's the word the Left loves to throw around...right...maybe there's a felony or two involved.

But here's the real kicker -- and I quote --

Just where, oh where, is our leader?  why so peace and quiet?  [it's not about Romney]

If from your acceptance speech of just last week be true -- you spoke so highly of a good education, our all-hallowed teacher's UNIONS, as well as the value of a good education being "the gateway to the middle class" -- then just where is your outrage for what is happening in your own hometown?   Everybody has to do their fair share -- and do the hard work, as you so often say.  Is a mere 20% proficiency in the Three R's a good effort, one that should be rewarded in any way?

America, we are not in Kansas anymore.   

This is brand new territory -- 

from a perspective totally unfamiliar to any of us.

Our American flag was taken down and replaced with an Al Queda flag; we lost four of our own, in Benghazi; we turned down Israel for a sit down; we have Al Sharpton getting word from a foot soldier in Chicago, that this is their "Arab Spring"  -- and this president of ours doesn't say a word?

[be willing to bet that tomorrow another embassy gets attacked just because the teacher's union in Chicago is calling it an "Arab Spring" without the proper clearances from the Islamic upper crust -- isn't the misuse of such terminology inflammatory in and of itself?]

oh and this is fascinating -- "Barack Obama has had trouble finding time to meet with his jobs council, the White House press corps and now we’re finding out, attend his daily intelligence meetings, too. As campaigner in chief, he really does have ‘too much on his plate..."  More stats from Townhall.com, and quoting Marc Thiessen:

During 2011 and the first half of 2012, his attendance became even less frequent — falling to just over 38 percent. By contrast, Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush almost never missed his daily intelligence meeting."

 It's funny -- the Obama administration said, there is simply no time in the calendar to meet with Netanyahu at the end of the month.  Really?  Is that the best you got?  And especially at a time in history when Israel is about to be attacked from three sides?

While it wouldn't surprise me one bit, if the words of a president and vice president and John Kerry from just last week's round of speeches at the DNC -- weren't actually responsible for stoking the fire as seen yesterday -- as if being another September 11th wasn't enough.

What point did they all drive home?  c'mon now.... I've been repeating it for days......

Remember now --  immediately following the take down of bin Laden -- the word from the top was "no spiking the football."    gosh I love football, but that is totally irrelevant in this moment.

Was last week not spiking the football?  It was shouted from the podium; it was posted on placards all over the arena; the entire audience cheered and stood in glory of the accomplishment.  naaaah  i don't see no stinkin spikin' football.

The world has changed as we know it.

But I'm pretty sure the place our president needs to be right about now is at the White House, taking care of the hot-spots around the globe and at home; dousing the flare ups and calming the region(s) as the "peace keeper" he is supposed to be -- as his Nobel Peace Prize declares him to be, disregarding the fact that that was a wee bit premature, now wasn't it?  wasn't it?

We are still at war with evil ....all over the place...as this presidency continues to breed a campaign and lead this country by radicalized tactics and policies, only creating division and hate  where there was none, here at home.

To the outside world, our president has decided to lead by our weaknesses and apologies first, versus come at our enemies from a position of strength, authority and conviction.   Why would anyone be afraid of us?

Today, we are all talk, we lack substance, and dare I say, LACK PROFICIENCY even -- and the problem: 'they' [pick one] know it.

With emotions piqued to the point of bubbling over, bearing witness in Wisconsin of the often violent and vitriolic chants rising from a congregation of fellow Americans we thought were just like us, you know, with policemen, firemen, teachers like us, how did we get here?  we all seem to be in the fight of our lives; why? how?

-- for reasons answered in another set of Boetcker-style bullet points and truisms, simply entitled, THE SEVEN National CRIMES...with nearly a hundred years  to show for it...

• I don’t think.
• I don’t know.
• I don’t care.
• I am too busy.
• I leave well enough alone.
• I have no time to read and find out.
• I am not interested.

What we value -- our day to day lives as we know it -- and being left well enough alone -- safe in the hamlets and the harbors of America -- is in the midst of having all of our convictions tested.

Little did we realize how our own leaders have taken full advantage of us; our lack of attention to details; our delusional laissez faire attitude towards our indebtedness (up until now); taking more time to rationalize our fall from grace, as a society, let alone within the walls of our own homes, than in taking the time to correct it; and now, having  traveled so far, and so long, in the opposite direction of our nation's founding principles -- no longer do we recognize the way back, even if the overwhelming majority of us wishes to make it so and go.

And then, you have people like Michael Moore (eww) say things that are so reprehensible and wrong, it just makes your head spin: "...our country is not broke...Wisconsin is not broke."

Typical.
Leave it to a multi-millionaire (and by the looks of things, a glutton of more things than one)....a guy who makes a living peddling liberal propaganda...
...leave it to this kind of guy to tell us to, basically, stick your head back in the sand, everything is okay, you got nothing to worry about (but death and taxes, of course).

who wants to bet me that if we had a republican president, and senate, he would be riding this debt horse hard and often, like a Paul Revere alerting us to a sea of little red coats?


Oh but for those WHO WANT to pay attention, and maybe think beyond the scope of Charlie Sheen or Lindsey Lohan, apparently, the news we get isn't nearly as grand as Al Jazeera CCTV; at least, according to our highly educated and learned Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton:

"Al Jazeera is winning. The Chinese have opened up a global English language and multi-language television network, the Russians have opened up an English language network. I've seen it in a couple of countries and it's quite instructive."

So Al Jazeera is putting American media to shame now...really?

Now if you go to their website, Al Jazeera,  (the made for America one, that is) it will look rather civilized...but bear in mind, one of the more popular programs is a show led by Sheik Yussef Al Qaradewi; according to this website, they refer to his show as "RELIGION & Life" (You LIE!) -- in actuality, it is called, "ash-Shariah wal-Hayat" or SHARIA & Life.  If you couple that with a deeper understanding of the channel's demographics, the majority of the viewers are young, very poor, and 96% Muslim (and let me guess, more radical than not).

The following is just a snippet of a sermon, through Al Qaradawi's weekly program, Sharia & Life, from 2009:

"Oh Allah, take your enemies, the enemies of Islam. Oh Allah, take the Jews, the treacherous aggressors. Oh Allah, take this profligate, cunning, arrogant band of people. Oh Allah, they have spread much tyranny and corruption in the land. Pour Your wrath upon them, oh our God. Lie in wait for them. Oh Allah, You annihilated the people of Thamoud at the hand of a tyrant, and You annihilated the people of 'Aad with a fierce, icy gale, and You destroyed the Pharaoh and his soldiers — oh Allah, take this oppressive, tyrannical band of people. ...said from the mouth of a man who also believes in female circumcision, as it's just the right thing to do, but "not mandatory"; while, with regards to homosexuality -- death -- by stoning of course.

But this is the kinds of "news" our secretary of state believes is light-years ahead of American TV.

So we're not broke after all, thanks to recent revelations from Michael Moore; and Americans need to get a better grip on the goings on around the world through the 'hear no evil, speak no evil', eyes and ears of the Arab world, like Al Jazeera TV, giving us a heavy dose of Islamic Extremists, like Al Qaradawi.  -- according to someone who should really know better ...(Oh, and fyi, Al Qaradawi is BANNED from entering the United States, since 1999...but Hillary loves, loves, loves Al Jazeera CCTV!  oh my gawd, say it like a valley girl)

I'm not sure what kind of game is being played on America, within America, right now -- but this I do know -- talk about having a great cause for concern, of our inescapable demise about to come our way, for their can't be an effect without a cause...due to...

...our political correctness

...our deaf, dumb and blindness

...our Judeo-Christian values that have raised us, and raised us well (up until now) that now, ironically, are being used against us -- setting us up to be the apologists and sympathizers and pacifists and peace keepers for all the world, just in time to bare WEAKNESS in front of all the world  to see -- and most definately, aired on Al Jazeera CCTV, don't miss it...

(and please, don't mis-characterize what I mean here, or take things out of context... being a peace keeper is good for all the world, and that goes for everywhere in the world...but that reality is not being real, is it)

But for these three things.. and the Seven National Crimes and The Ten Cannots...oh my goodness, oh my goodness.  having now completely lost ourselves to a world of hurt, decay, indebtedness, entitlement, rationalizations, and whole lot of this can't be good.

Once! we lived a life of formidable strength -- of character, of boldness, of innovation, of defense, of exceptional-ism, of  truth, of honor, of integrity, of sound free market principles, of freedom and linerty for every individual, respective of the law to each their own, in pursuit of their own happiness and prosperity and grace.  

Once upon a time, we stood for too many things to count.  now, look at us; and listen to us; the whole world is watching, as our president says quite often...

The way Islam reads this... weakness IS a provocation.
