It's a Thoroughly Shaken and Stirred Thing

Dear America,

"Truthful lips endure forever,
but a lying tongue lasts only a
moment.
There is deceit in the hearts of those
who plot evil,
but joy for those who promote peace.
No harm befalls the righteous,
but the wicked have their fill of
trouble."
Proverbs 12:19-21

such is the day in the life of America...

for the substance with which we actually live by, and prosper in both wisdom and grace, is not of a fleeting matter! and yet we rebuke its essential value every single day, men and women alike.

America was made by the ideas and the very works and the constant striving of men -- men of the age of enlightenment and profound understanding of truth.  Encouraged by a deep faith in Divine Providence, our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were written, nearly in stone, and laying the foundation of these great United States.  And now look at us.

What we have in government today, is a great mockery of such a state of reverence and austerity of long ago; while every intention to keep WE the PEOPLE protected of such evil corruption has been torn asunder, now finding ourselves fully under the power and oppression generated at the state.  And a great example of such a fraud against the American people, is quickly found within the GOP response to Obamacare.

How the GOP is so unprepared for this very moment is beyond words, really.

For goodness sake, man, we've had seven years to get at the ready; not to mention, the many concerns and questions of Obamacare have been answered nearly completely by organizations and conservative think tanks, places like The Heritage Foundation, and one currently led by a good and decent countryman, Jim DeMint.

Health care must be placed back in the hands of the free market, and the free market only.  For all it's done so far --  this abomination called Obamacare --  is tie an iron chain around the neck of the American livelihood and economy, cementing another entitlement upon the backs of the hardworking Middle Class (for the wealthy are basically unaffected, and the poor carry no responsibility whatsoever).

Allow me to share Ben Shapiro's thoughts, HERE.

"A wicked man accepts a bribe in secret
to pervert the course of justice."
Proverbs 17:23

If Obamacare was wrong under Obama, it is still wrong under a man of another name.  (That's just a GTHING proverb of the modern age...)

This morning -- in the wake of all the mystery and mayhem of the wiretapping and the mounting troubles dealing with the hold over Obama Administration people, the clear and present danger of insubordination on steroids -- my American spirit feels violated.

I can only imagine what the president is thinking, but perhaps he will continue to cling to his ability to tweet and tell us exactly that.  I've been trying not to pay any attention to it, thinking it will just go away.  But this is some kind of serious mischief within, and my cries of what to do, what to do, has evolved into a call out to the heavens for some undeserved assistance.  Any guidance right now, whether from King Solomon or beyond... America needs all the help she can get.

If I were president, this girl would go office by office and root out the evil and say, you're fired.  You're fired.  And you're fired, too.  Cleaning house comes naturally, you know what I mean.

And speaking of which -- gotta love what we are celebrating today:  women.   Although, for some reason, the "Day without Women" march is designed to include the "gender oppressed" too.   It's like, what?  why?  Who decided to throw upon the shoulders of every woman one more thing?   I mean -- I'm a girl -- why can't women just have our day, right?  What a corruption of the overarching message of raising awareness of the essential roles WOMEN play in society, right?  But this is the Home Page:

On International Women's Day, March 8th,
women and our allies will act together
for equity, justice and the human rights of women
and all gender-oppressed people,
through a one-day demonstration
of economic solidarity.

ARE YOU IN?

This is nothing more than leftist March Madness, and just another version of what happened in January...remember this?

And seriously, women -- are you really feeling oppressed in this day and age?  Seriously, little miss CEO, little miss small business owner, little miss congresswoman, little miss talk show icon, little miss facebook high ranking officer, little miss doctor, attorney, professor, pastor?  After all we've been through, and given the aspirations of girls far and wide are being realized in the every day -- how can we gather together like this, if not for simply making a whole lot of political hay after taking all the live long day to sow the very seeds that further divide us?  [And even little g recognizes her limitations on getting her point across, so by all means,  go here for more on this from The Patriot Post]

This method of marching is simply solidifying the objectifying of women; turning us into a cause instead elevating the pure, God given life force we women truly are, a freeking awesome life force capable of being the sole provider of all the world's naturally born children, too.  Can I get an amen?

Although all in favor of human rights, equity and justice for all, the organizers might as well have made it clear that girls like me need not apply either; for it is my belief, in the spirit of equality for all, that men are just as essential to the life and times as women -- and upon equal footing, too!  (yes, and isn't that just crazy....teehee)   A day without men would be just as empty.

MEN and WOMEN are equally precious, equally worthy, and to actually know this knowledge, and recognize it, and appreciate both in equal portion -- in both work and play -- then you would also have to know God.  For these are the basic teachings found in the Bible.

And, as a matter of record, this girl doesn't need a man or society to validate her own self-worth, just sayin'.  For that, sisters and brothers, comes from a higher plane, and a gender of It's Very Own....yay God x

And finally, and most certainly, without a shred of doubt,  I believe it is the ying and yang of everything, large and small,  that makes everything work; one thing is not greater than another.

Oh this day,
this day finds me simply shaken AND stirred, with not an olive in sight.

Whether it's the men or the women -- we all carry the equal potential to suck from time to time; that being said, we the people are turning ourselves, and our body politic,  into something unrecognizable.  Only a loving God knows who we truly are and where we go from here, for my meek and troubled mind fails to see the good that all this brings today.

Fortunately, we who call ourselves believers know this simple truth:  "there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven."

Rumor has it, we get one more try at this thing called life tomorrow.

Make it a Good Day, G

It's No Time Like the Present Thing

Dear America,

"Those who expect to reap
the blessings of freedom must,
like men,
undergo the fatigue
of supporting it."

Thomas Paine

I love that part, "like men."

And to think, it's so sexist, isn't it!...Oh the shame.  Oh the crime. Oh Thomas Paine -- I love you, man.

And Oh how I dream of a time gone by when men were men and women were women and nobody was confused about anything.  I know -- thump on the head to me.   Whatever.
Yesterday -- Veteran's Day -- I spent the better part of a morning surrounded by MEN, veterans, real men, with their service to America dating back twenty...fifty, sixty, seventy years...and many of them were seated with their wives of twenty...forty, fifty, sixty years right next to them.  It was a beautiful thing, let me tell you.

About a dozen boys of the Camp Pendleton Young Marines stood at attention throughout the entire forty-five minute program -- which took great skill, considering less than six feet in front of them, the "half-time show" featured a dance troupe from the local school, Santa Fe Christian, tapping out a fine boogie woogie number (of course, accompanied by the school band)  -- to a classic, "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B."

The girls were good!   And almost better than The Andrews Sisters...

Giving high marks on costume -- dressed in red satin and gloves -- the modern day ensemble takes home a decent honorable mention.  But the trophy, that goes to the sisters simply on points for originality and, for something that I like to call --  setting the bar; and certainly not to discount the many years of service in the business of keeping the morale up for our boys.   Hoo rah.

The thing is, we know what "better" is. It's a cut above.

Take  Jeb Bush, at Tuesday night's debate -- he failed to make something of his campaign.  He failed to stand out and hit a higher bar.  He may have done better than expected, in the eyes of some, but better isn't always enough, is it.   (Not a question.)

Now Ted Cruz did better than Jeb;  he left his mark in the hearts and minds of those listening.

Marco Rubio did better than Jeb, and quite possibly even better than Cruz; he left his mark in the hearts and minds of those listening.

But like most things in life -- it's subjective.

I'm sure for some people, what Thomas Paine said, might be offensive.  Take it out of context, take it out of the 1700's and thrust it into the year 2015 and we have immediate controversy.  But let's not quibble, shall we.

"Those who expect to reap
the blessings of freedom must,
like men,
undergo the fatigue
of supporting it."

I was shocked to read news out of Colorado Springs this morning -- it centers around a lawsuit from a group of women IN the police force who objected to the physical ability test each year.  And now -- long story short (and fat) -- when it comes to the men and women in uniform in the Spring's area and racing to the rescue of citizens in need, nobody will be required to stay "physically fit." [At least, until such time it's been argued back and forth through the legal channels.]

Seriously?

Why wouldn't a woman -- especially a woman currently in police uniform --  insist on staying fit, on their own, for their own benefit, for the betterment of both community and her own life itself?  Talk about a life and death situation that naturally raises the bar --  demanding the call for being better than the average joe a personal standard in the every day!   Holy super girl, this might be such an occasion.

But let's consider for a moment how women got here.    Women have cried discrimination for decades -- fighting tooth and french manicured nail, long and hard, to make gains in male dominated careers, be it local police forces or one of our honorable armed forces...including now in combat zones...and this is where we take it?  Griping under the fatigue of the demands of being in what is, for all intents and purposes, a man's domain?  Are you kidding me?

Shut up.

Shut up.

Shut up.

Dig deep, put down the doughnut, get back in shape, and shut up.

Did I mention you stupid girls need to shut up?

Enough said.

Now for the betterment of this day, this blog, my wish is to do a one-eighty and get back to d'boys in uniform.  Here you go:

"It is the Veteran"

It is the Veteran, not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the Veteran, not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is the Veteran, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Veteran, not the politician, who has given us the right to vote.
It is the Veteran, who salutes the Flag,
It is the Veteran, who serves under the Flag,
To be buried by the flag,
So the protester can burn the flag
[that's a really good link! don't miss it]
 Author: Anonymous

...The guest speaker at my local Veterans Day service, Lt. Col. Scott Hall (a very handsome Fighter Pilot!), offered these words in his closing.

It's something that I like to call perspective.  [And surely within "It is a Veteran," a lesson, or two, lives for the wayward student body re-organizers of  Missou and Yale...and we'll have to save that for another day...]

"Those who expect to reap
the blessings of freedom must,
like men,
undergo the fatigue
of supporting it."

According to the stats:  19.3 million veterans in U.S. in 2014, with 1.6 million of them listed as female (but do we really know anymore?)...  And talk about physically fit -- most often, the cream of the crop, all of them; Bergdahl aside, it's a group of men and women who act with honor and courage and strength better than most of us upon any given day.

Which brings me to this:
it would be an understatement to say, there is     no     time    like    the present.  Think about it.

But this is where I must leave it for one day.

Make it a Good Day, G

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

Dear America,

G was a no-show yesterday...
would you believe there was nothing to talk about?  (say it like Maxwell Smart...and puleeze don't tell me you don't know who that is)

we loved Get Smart growing up in our house; agent 99 was smart and beautiful...between her, Mary Tyler Moore and Rhoda, all of them modeled a behavior worthy of mimicking one day when all grown up.

Yesterday, was International Women's Day; some of you may have already heard how Cairo celebrated...attacking women.  Wow, just how is that budding democracy working out for you?

Given it was the first time I ever heard of this day of celebration, I had to look into it a wee bit; low and behold, it's roots are nestled into the propaganda created out of the minds of socialists and communists, in a workers of the world unite -- for women -- kind of thing.  Isn't that fascinating? It started back in the USSR...early nineteen hundreds...

From Hillary, some time yesterday:

“They've risked their lives; they've served in prison; they've been harassed and oppressed; sometimes their own children's lives have been at risk.  They have been insulted, beaten and tortured.  And yet each of these women has found the strength to persevere in the face of fear, isolation or repression.  And they've done so not just one day or one year, but day after day and year after year."

adding in this,  “We intend, working with Goldman Sachs, to make sure that these scholarships help women receive world-class business and management training”  (ah, so Goldman Sachs is our friend now).

Please read more, by hitting this link, to read about the women being celebrated this year (couldn't help but notice not an agent 99, or an American in the bunch...hmmmm...guess we aren't that daring or remarkable...you would think Lara Logan might have been able to slip in there at the last minute...as it would seem, just the reporting of the breaking news, and the waves of democracy around the world, raging in places like Tehrir Square, can be just as risky)

I haven't heard too much, coming out of Washington, concerned about the injustices to women just yesterday, or even a mention of the escalation of clashes between the Christians and the overwhelming majority, Muslims, also going on in Cairo over the last two days...democracy?  anyone?  The violence was set off following the Christians marching in protest after a church was burned to the ground...no, hold up...that was after the Muslims reacted to "a love affair" between a Christian and a Muslim; thirteen people have died so far...and hundreds injured.

and we think Egypt is ready to make nice?  ready for democracy (whatever that is)?

In light of recent events, it got me thinking as to where politics just doesn't belong: Here's what I have so far:

  • SCHOOLS: case in point, Wisconsin, and protests everywhere, and the visibly apparent lack of enthusiasm by teachers and administrators to truly embrace real reforms (i.e. we should be celebrating the idea of school choice and vouchers, get excited about the idea of pay based on merit, and recognize the beauty of all thought, even the thought that seems different than one's own; the immediate curtailing of union influence controlling the taxpayer dollar must happen -- for this is adversely affecting productivity and change for the public good, while adding an element of separation and divide, through improper use of funds supporting only the liberal ideology and a left wing education, a.k.a. indoctrination.)  THIS should NOT be political.
  • OIL/energy CRISIS:  case in point, Libya; what happens in Libya should stay in Libya, and other than voicing our immediate humanitarian concern, pleading to Gaddafi to take care of his own, at the very least, this should not be our problem.  It is a total gamble either way America chooses to proceed here; let the EU take the brunt of the responsibility, we are over committed elsewhere, and the only thing we should be doing is making a proclamation to resume ALL DRILLING, using our Nuclear Energy facilities at their highest capacities, getting to our natural gas, clean coal, and of course, adding in the solar, wind, and hydro-electric everything under the sun; we must celebrate every resource we have and flaunt it, make it, find it, revel in it, and maybe even roll in it, if it seems appropriate (just thinking of the ample sunshine). THIS should NOT be political.
  • Defending America against Radical Islamic Terrorism (even within AMERICA!); go PeterKing go!  you are doing the right thing for the right reasons, and please know, in spite of what you see going on in and around the mall, you have a majority of America's sincere gratitude; this action is not Islama-phobia of any kind; it is purely for the protection of our assets, and our children (considering many of the adults around here are in total denial). Ask yourself, why is it that our federal government (really just the White House) is keeping out of the conversation, established Muslim-American groups that really have our best interests at heart?  The one's who love America and respect America and celebrate America for all that she is MUST be at the table... are you kidding me?I have been following Jasser for awhile now ...read more here.  THIS should NOT be political.
  • and NASA: just throwing this one in, in celebration of the last shuttle launch, of Discovery, and her safe return today. Yay Space!  so thank you NASA for bringing our men and women home safe and sound this morning. The final frontier...THIS should NOT be political.
  • Public television and radio: either you stay neutral, and live up to the industry's standards celebrating both sides of an issue, fair and balanced -- or, you don't get any federal funds.  THAT'S it; of course, since you have made your decision a long time ago, going the left wing intellectual snobbery route, then more power to you on your own; I'm sure you will have no trouble getting advertisers and donations from Michael Moore, Bill Gates, and George Soros, and on and on and on.  IF you wish to remain in the domain of the public good, THIS should NOT be political (sorry to see you go, buh bye).

That's it for today; my top five 'this should not be political' list on the day; wait a minute...hold on...

One more -- WOMEN!

Now for AMERICA, and America only, I believe I am sick and tired of "women" being labeled...including, having a day distinguished as a "day of celebration and remembrance" at all; for me, this idea is soooooo left brain.  Why can't we just model good behavior, be of strong will, carry with us ambitious goals, exude confidence beyond measure, and grow up just doing what we were meant to do, without constantly thinking we deserve more attention for it -- or think there should be a prize for it in the end?  BUT above all, how in the world do "WOMEN" continually get lumped in under the categories falling under the left column -- how can something so wide and wonderful be categorized at all really...cuz I know! we aren't all the same.

But somehow, somewhere between entitlement funding and women's liberation, the left has taken over as chief marketer and manufacturer of what women really really want, and need, and believe, and even achieve -- and how (not necessarily in that order).  It's as if the left has commandeered the conversation, and for any woman to go outside those lines...that's like a foul against all women; of all things, the party long thought to be the one which stands for inclusiveness and the taking down of barriers, I shudder at the thought of how some women speak against other women  who simply stand for another ideology, another school of thought, another way of looking at something. (and given this one is currently in the news, G will never think like a Vivian Schiller, who, just yesterday, is stepping down as CEO of  NPR...see also Ron Schiller, unrelated...and the atrocities that came out of his mouth.)

But the left would like us believe women are all the same, and sometimes even victims, needing extra help or something -- when in real life, we are the MAJORITY of the American population, and raging! @ 157 Million (men @153 m) -- we are 55% of college graduates -- we are 66% of voters -- we are now 39% of workforce in management/professional positions (with 33%,  male) -- 5 million women are actually stay-at-home moms, compared to only 154,000 fathers (and if you think stay at home moms sit around eating bon-bons all day, you are sadly mistaken..take for example all the bloggers @ asamom.org...we're talking moms working from home, home schoolers, activists, you name it and the sky's the limit)

Now certainly, areas around the world need a little help; and America, can always find ways to improve; but the politics of women -- stay out of it!  Women, generally speaking, cannot be trivialized, generalized, or even canonized JUST because we have a couple of things hanging out on top; we don't belong to one side or the other; we cannot be taken over, with someone speaking for us or against us, as if one rule of thought dominates over another; we can't be laid out on a sheet pan, expected to bake at the same temperature, for the same length of time, and expected to turn out all the same -- the variables are simply too great; and isn't that the beauty of it! It is so great being a girl!

All the more reason pointing to this country's first truths -- self-reliance doesn't bow to gender (or a color for that matter), it works for everybody, equally and fairly.

As we see "democracy" unfold in Cairo -- let us pray for the women and children, and the men hell bent on misbehaving; let us pray for the Christians and the Muslims, to find a way to live together in peace; and let us thank our lucky stars, here in America, at least for now --

May we can consider ourselves privileged citizens, living in a nation in pursuit of our own happiness-es, respectful of the opposition in every way -- and may we grow to learn how to come to the table and talk about things, like grown ups, when we need to...without immediately lumping ourselves into a column either way; for the politics of some things just have no business whatsoever...schools, drilling, national defense of radical Islamic terrorists, NASA, NPR/PBS...little women...

Are we moving forward, or slipping backwards, just because we are so hung up on the politics of 'IT', whatever IT may be;  remember, way back when, in 2008, we all thought we were bringing in a guy who we had every faith would be different; with a true democracy working in over drive, he was supposed to be the guy promising a new America, and to help us all blend --  the moderator, the orator, the peacekeeper, the unite'r...nope, just a man, as always (no offense... it would work the same for a woman in power).

Make it a Good Day, G

Dear America,

"oh Michael.  It was an abortion. It was an abortion, Michael, just like our marriage is an abortion something's that unholy and evil.... I didn't want your son Michael, I wouldn't bring another one of your sons into this world.  It was an abortion, Michael.   It was a son.  And I had him killed because I knew this must all end..."
Classic scene. Lucky for youz, youz ah, can replay it all day long with a click on Dear America.

While anyone who's been following me will know, G spent nearly a month of Sunday's discussing the health care legislation, between the yahoo's of Congress, the town hall meetings, the issues at hand, it was a plethora of organic blog material in the month of August, let me tell you.  The one thing we never did, however, was discuss the one topic that currently has D.C. all lit up and slapping people around a bit -- the women's right to choose and federal funding.

You must know on the onset, G has a lot to say about this; perhaps it will morph into a couple of days, I'm not quite sure.  But needless to say, we gotta have the talk.  So sit down, maybe get yourself a drink and relax; and I will try not to embarrass you. Both of us may find ourselves squirming from time to time, but it's gotta get done.

First and foremost, I'm gonna just lay it all out right here and now.  Women can be so stupid; and I'm just speaking to my peers for right now: over twenty five, white women are stupid, as these are my people:
  • 60% of all abortions are white women
  • 48% of all abortions are over the age of 25
  • while 10% of all abortions are divorced women.
  • 64% of the nearly 42 Million sexually active women use contraception...
  • which means...36% DO NOT, or are fertility challenged
  • 37% Protestant, 31% Catholic, 18% 'born again', 1.3% Jewish, 23% 'none'
While we're at it:
  • 38% of all abortion recipients make $30,000- 59,000/year
  • 13% make over $60,000/year.
  • And as it stands today, only 14% of all abortions are paid with public funds, usually provided for at the state level.
  • 20% teenagers, 1.2% under the age of 15
  • 52 % before 9th week, 37% between weeks 9-12
  • 68,000,000 individuals have an STD, with 3,000,000 teenagers acquire an STD/year

  • There are roughly 1,200,000 abortions performed each year.

So part of this argument is simply smart women, making stupid choices with their body, who have the money to pay for an abortion because it is their prerogative and right as a women to use abortion as birth control -- and will most likely go to church and pray about it when done, this according to the stats, as well.

Okay, before you get your panties in a wad, yes, people do make mistakes, there is human error. There are unexpected accidents from mother nature; I mean, 47% of all pregnancies are totally unplanned! There is that.  But let's keep moving.

The point I want to make is about these stupid women, besides the creation of a bouncing baby boy, the days we are living in today demand our attention to STOP and pay attention to the prospects of other dilemmas we may face along with our highly educated, pulling a decent income -- I am free, hear me roar -- choice to have unprotected sex.  We're not talking to the 20% of teenagers, now are we?  K, let's be honest.

We're talking to the women of N.O.W., the intellectual free choice American women who burned their bras 40 years ago and never looked back...maybe had a couple of kids by now...but no regrets...oooh maybe just one...that one night with that guy...what was his name...whatever.

But more than anything else, I can't believe smart women would choose to be a pawn in the discussion; you know you're being used, don't you?  Think about it.

The left uses you in their favor as liberal propaganda; while the right uses you to look the other way and make it all about the rights of the unborn child.  We're like these precious little whores -- or high class escorts if you will -- for either the Democrat or the Republican platform to take from us what they need and toss us aside when done.

Come on, people, CHOICE?  Is that the best you got?

Smart women know our choice comes a lot sooner than pissing on a stick.

But more disturbing is that this women's right to choose has defined the battlegrounds between sides; it automatically delineates that the left gives the power over to stupid behavior, while the right is determined to make it a question of godliness and respect to the unborn.  When both miss the most profound political message -- which one really cares about you; not the baby, not the choice, you.

Neither one has been brave enough to show that side.

We live in tough times.  Burning ours bras and birth control and free spirits revelling in the now does not prepare us for times like these.  Unprotected sex can kill us.

Its not even enough in today's world to be on birth control -- we have to be taught to wear a condom too.

But the N.O.W., the liberal Democrats, even a few Republican women, and in the company of any other organization pontificating the right to choose as this holier than thou sacrament to women's legislation believe that this is where the argument must settle in, already nesting into the state of mind of our young girls, and clearly having themselves a field day with the smart women we see running around today.

Yup, that smart, white, college educated woman is my kind of role model -- we can choose abortion.   It's easy.  Harmless.  What else is a smart girl to do?  And we can teach our baby girls that they can have the power to choose, too!  It's so liberating to be a woman -- girls just wanna have fun, right. right?

Look, if we are going to be smart women today, choosing unprotected sex just isn't an option.

You know, many couples don't even have a choice.  About 6,000,000 couples a year have issues conceiving, while 2,000,000 infertile couples mortgage their lives away trying.  While today, a whole 'nother level jump into the field, as homosexual couples look to other countries to adopt a baby because America just doesn't have enough available -- nor is it easy to get through the bureaucracy -- while backlash to a different lifestyle also plays a part .  Perhaps, folks, we could take a look at marrying some of these issues together. just sayin'...

What surprised me when reviewing some of the stats is what I learned about Planned Parenthood. Roughly 10.9 million services are provided each year for contraception and other women's services.  While 82% use Planned Parenthood for contraception services, cancer screenings, STD testing, and miscellaneous other women's issues, only 3% of the overall services provided are specifically for abortion.  You would never know it by way of what we hear; by reputation alone you would have thought the 'hood guilty of coercing young women into abortions left and right. At first glance, hardly to be the case; but we will get into that another day.

As a women, I just don't get it really.  By today's standards, the liberals treat this ability to choose an abortion like its just a get out of jail free card or something, when in fact it may really point to a carelessness in behavior that could jeopardize our health in so many more immobilizing ways, to the point of even death.  How can that be responsible legislation?  And what about the other half?  Does he not have a choice, too?

Republicans are no better -- by simply making the mistake to glorify the unborn life and villainizing the doctors, cowering to the realities of the discussion about unprotected sex and the ungodly numbers of sexual abuse in this country altogether.  While both sides take turns slapping each other around, they miss a stellar opportunity  -- to be the actual party who has the strength and compassion to protect women with accountability and honesty, and begin raising generations of girls that are not only stronger but that more the wiser.

I'm telling you, you couple birth control with a condom and abortion rates will not only diminish substantially, but we will save women -- young and old -- from all kinds of woes and consequences from being simply irresponsible with our body.  That is the choice that must be taught.  That's it.

Anything else is merely masking deeper issues, and quite certainly more horrific outcomes, with rose colored glasses -- while spinning a kaleidoscope of psychedelic political rhetoric to each other's advantage -- flipping women over and from side to side in desperation for a cheap thrill and a vote.  And whenever we all come off whatever drugs we're smokin' or pills we're poppin' or political future worth saving, I pray we live to see the day --

when women slap ourselves in the face and wake up -- and realize just how stupid we've become.

Make it a Good Day, G

This is all I can do today, I'm worn out.
Clearly, there is more to say; as complicated as it is, we will begin to look at ways to save both women and the conservatives in this argument of who really has the power to choose, and when we do, in the days to come.
Maybe we need some music to clear our head a bit...let's try this one on...and call it a day.
