It's a Dirty Preoccupation Thing

Dear America,

"The words of a man's mouth are deep waters,
but the fountain of wisdom is a babbling brook.
It is not good to be partial to the wicked
or to deprive the innocent of justice.
A fool's lips bring him strife,
and his mouth invites a beating.
A fool's mouth is his undoing,
and his lips are a snare to his soul.
The words of a gossip are like choice morsels;
they go down to a man's inmost parts."
Proverbs 18:4-8
Written by King Solomon,
sometime during his reign (c. 970-931 B.C.)

acquiring dirt is a cheap way to get ahead in life; and yet, go figure, it's precisely this kind of luscious morsel, this little nugget of debauchery or shadiness back behind the man, that supplies the sustenance of nearly all political campaigns.

Even though,
finding dirt, amassing dirt, building dirt into a mountain of garbage --
whether it's source comes via foreign or domestic hybrids, having grown from devious seeds --
runs counter to who we are as a people of character, both individually and collectively (no pun there).

What's more, bonafide media outlets -- purveyors of all things news worthy and pertinent to the American people --  have done nothing more than disparage themselves and the business they are in by continuing to dispense ridiculous, hypocritical, politically motivated, run of the mill, gossip.

It's a pathetic waste, and I mean waste, of precious time and energy.

Point of fact -- the DNC provided their own dirt, organically, from within their own organization!  Such is the case, of the leaks of John Podesta's email communications between the powers that be.  Who cares where it came from, or who unearthed it!  It doesn't matter when the truth is, these words spoken between trusted confidants in the middle of a presidential campaign were actually SAID.  The sad reality is, the sentiment and messages between multiple DNC upper echelon, were words spoken, and not only that, they display exactly their motivations -- getting Bernie out, among many other things... SEE a nice list of 18 revelations from Wikileaks, here (thank you, BBC News)....Dated October 27, 2016, by the way.

oh, what have we got here....oooooh here's a morsel now:
In excerpts from one of Mrs Clinton's paid speeches to Wall Street bankers, she said: "Politics is like sausage being made. It is unsavory, and it always has been that way, but we usually end up where we need to be.
"But if everybody's watching, you know, all of the back room discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So, you need both a public and a private position."

So 412,000 dollars later...
The lengthy investigative report, which described Ukraine as concerned that Trump would favor Russia if he won, said that the effort was coordinated with the Clinton campaign, raising questions of foreign involvement similar to the charges that Russia worked to help Trump.
"Donald Trump wasn't the only presidential candidate whose campaign was boosted by officials of a former Soviet bloc country," said the Politico investigation...
It said that she [Alexandra Chalupa]  pushed information about Trump's former campaign chief Paul Manafort to reporters including Yahoo. Manafort was replaced by Trump amid concerns about his work for Ukraine's former leader, Viktor Yanukovych.

In that Politico investigation post, linked above:  "[the] investigation found evidence of Ukrainian government involvement in the race that appears to strain diplomatic protocol dictating that governments refrain from engaging in one another’s elections."  Translation: and it's not the Trump camp.

real evidence found, huh.

Oh, and just who is this Chalupa?  Politico answers:
A daughter of Ukrainian immigrants who maintains strong ties to the Ukrainian-American diaspora and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, Chalupa, a lawyer by training, in 2014 was doing pro bono work for another client interested in the Ukrainian crisis and began researching Manafort’s role in Yanukovych’s rise, as well as his ties to the pro-Russian oligarchs who funded Yanukovych’s political party.
oh okay. that's going in the good to know pile.

Returning to the piece by the BBC,

Here's one for compiling that which concerns....speaking out of both sides of the mouth:

"In a leaked 2013 paid speech to the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, Mrs Clinton said that Jordan and Turkey "can't possibly vet all those refugees so they don't know if, you know, jihadists are coming in along with legitimate refugees".
and another:
"In May 2015 Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook pointed to a report that the Clinton Foundation had received money from one of the project's backers, emailing that "the enviros may latch onto this going forward. Have we discussed when she will come out against Keystone?"
He also asks if they should wait until after President Obama vetoes the pipeline, which he did in November 2015. Mrs Clinton announced her opposition in September.
Of course, there is this little bocado hermosa (beautiful morsel), via Eddie Scarry of The Washington Examiner:

Media yawn at Podesta's 'needy Latinos' email

ya see how the media picks and chooses it's dirt?

Clearly, the main stream media [that which is aggregated daily, agriculturally speaking, to be a compound of  80% liberal -- and of those,  an astounding 99.9% hypocrite, and hellbent upon using the medium of manure shoveling and leftist groveling, feeding one another the same slop over and over again, like pot belly pigs]   is uber selective.

The THING IS --

with regards to Don Jr. --
if all we have is a twenty minute meeting to nowhere --  serving up the same sh*t, whether foreign or domestic, as the Clinton Campaign when colluding day and night with the DNC --- then what is there to talk about?

DO WE REALLY HAVE TO KEEP PILING ON THIS REALITY?

AND!

NOT ONE VOTE WAS CHANGED!

President Donald John Trump is our president, fair and square -- no matter how dirty the shirtsleeves.

Colluding with Russia --  hmmmmm -- what have we got.....ummmmm nothing with regards to DJT.

And it's funny, the left winged mainstream media wasn't all that upset when a sitting president actually said via an open mic to a real Russian, just six months before the 2012 elections, this little tidbit from Daniel Halper of The Weekly Standard:

President Obama: "On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space."
President Medvedev: "Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…"
President Obama: "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."
President Medvedev: "I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir, and I stand with you."
what?
you're gonna relay to Vladimir Putin,  the Vladimir Putin, that you just had a little conversation with the American president, and that Obama asked Russia to wait until after the election...assuming he would be re-elected, thereby paving the way for all you guys to collude once again, right where you all left off?

oh okay.

oh those pesky, needy, dirty, lousy Russians

Here's a final read for you, for today anyway; it comes via CNN -- but of course, it also comes with an editorial disclaimer that goes like this:  "Jeffrey Lord is a CNN political commentator. Previously, he served in the Reagan administration as a White House political adviser. The views expressed in this commentary are his own. For a counter perspective, read Doug Elmets' analysis."   And yes, even Doug gets the same disclaimer -- but when something IS commentary, doesn't that mean, by definition, it is someone's opinion in the first place?  And further, if actual news stories are told through a liberal bias, shouldn't that also come with full disclosure, too?  As in, "Good Evening, I'm Jim Acosta, and I'm a liberal, and here is the evening's liberal news..."  oh but I digress.  literally and figuratively.

Back to the final read, for it is good.  HERE it is.

And besides, even President Obama told Trump to "stop whining" about Russia interfering with the election...remember this?  “You start whining before the game’s even over?” Obama said at a press conference. “Then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job.”

And just why was Obama so bold to say all of this, like the arrogant little piss-ant he was, crawling up the side of the eastern palisade of dirt upon dirt like he was king of the mountain?  For like everyone else in the country, HE thought Hillary was going to win; HE felt emboldened to kill this dirty narrative likity-split in order to pave the way for HER eminence, Hillary Clinton, to BULLdoze her way back into  D.C. all over again.

You know, I've heard, "it is not good to be partial to the wicked or to deprive the innocent of justice."

Fake dossier, anyone. See Circa.  See Circa.

oh "the words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to a man's inmost parts."  And then come out his buttocks right on cue.

The news of Russian interference with the 2016 election, as well as the lack of evidence of collusion, let alone any vote being altered or changed or added or subtracted anywhere from sea to shining sea because of it, should justifiably be reduced to trash; we might as well stock it up to being nothing more than a pile of garbage, and immediately set it on fire, sending it in the direction that all election dirt belongs, up in smoke.

Every campaign gets dirt.
Every campaign is at risk of behaving badly to get dirt.
Every campaign considers getting good dirt on the opponent to be as valuable an effort as panning for gold.   That kind of nugget is worth traveling the miles, weathering the snowstorms and all the hills and valleys such aspirations may bring; just ask those who made it all the way to California during the Gold Rush.

Show me a campaign as pure as the driven snow and this girl will still show you a drift -- whether it be of something high or  something low, whether its from lands far, far away or la la land.  The innocent snowflake begins to collect, and with just the right amount of ill begotten wind, slowly each one is carried away until the wee little snowflake becomes a mighty, impenetrable, abominable snow drift.

Adrift is adrift is a drift; and like gossip, it is collaborative, collective,  and contagious in thought, word and deed -- one globs together with another, and then another, and then another.  And so on.

Gossip is not good; it is not news; it is the pure pillaging of fresh unfettered grounds --  taking a plot potentially nutrient abundant, of sound roots, and full of righteous aspirations --  and rototiller-ing the hell out of it;  then, spreading seeds of corruption, contempt and carousal, fully ripe for contaminating the land for as far as the eye can see, and beyond, as we slowly replace living from a place of wisdom with wretchedness.

And this culture of ours -- it not only digs dirt right about now, it thrives on it.

Look in the mirror and see for yourself.

It's on your face,  as well as on mine; if we're not throwing dirt back and forth, it doesn't make it to the Drudge Report, right?  And just look at me -- of all absurdities -- aiming to measure it here on the old G Thing upon any given day.

Here's a riddle:  which comes first, the person or the politics?

Oh it's neither here nor there.
We spend so much of our time talking about things that don't matter, spending less time talking of things that do matter, that in the meantime, we bury ourselves in piles and piles of dirt.

It's a dirty preoccupation.

It's so much on some days, we don't even realize the stench in the air, making it nearly impossible to breathe.

Who knew rarefied air would become more valuable than gold...

Make it a Good Day, G

It's a What the Front Yard Thing

Dear America,

it's all about the latest TruGreen commercial.  Have you seen it?

funny.

a sketchy weed-killer dude is commissioned to do his thing by a trusting homeowner -- flash forward to the next day -- when the homeowner hops out the front door to get his paper -- and it's dirt.  as far as the eye can see -- and he says, 'what the front yard?'

I don't know.  Maybe it was just the way he said it; maybe it's just the mood I'm in  -- let's just say, thank you TruGreen for the chuckle.

And this is where we will begin:  maybe it was the way he said it...

Now -- let's just forget about TruGreen and go to the open mic:

 "This is my last election.
After my election I have more flexibility..."
obama to medvedev

give me a little "space", he says, and then we will talk.

he said it when he thought the world wasn't listening -- and then again, knowing his arrogance, maybe not.

it was just the way he said it...ew.  under his breath and in secret...
going rogue as the Dictator-in-Chief, asserting his confidence in his ability to gain a second term, among other things.

All I can think of is -- how many times has this M.O. been used?

What else is he planning on doing the day after the election -- self-assured of a second go round?

As the return to 'what the front yard'
comes echoing from the back of my mind?

All I can say is -- thank goodness it was caught on tape; for this gaffe immediately validates the worries and concerns of a vast majority of Americans revolving around the imaginations of 'four more years.'

For most of America recognizes the fact that four more years of Obama gives permission for this administration to go carte blanch; all controls, all checks and balances, all good conscience is gone, baby, gone with the granting of this guy the SPACE and time to do what he really, really wants without prejudice.
Did I say it was gone; I mean, ALL gone -- bye bye -- dirt -- as far as the eye can see.

Obama is planning on going ballistic with every radical, social justice, community re-organizing, fundamental transformation, remaking America THING he can imagine; anything and everything he has ever dreamed of, he intends to make a reality.   just because he can, then -- upon four more years.

As he says to Medvedev...just give me a little space...a little time to get this second election out of the way.

We are not Russia.

We usually don't like dictators here in America.

America was designed by We the People, for We the People.  So now -- under open mic -- We the People want to ask the president (since you brought it up, after all) -- just what exactly do you mean?   With all due respect, Mr. President, but you, sir, have some esplainin' to do.   What the front yard? What in tar-nation kind of missile deal do you plan  on making with Russia....you know, after such time you get America's blessing for a second coming?

You know, if Bush said something like this and got caught -- it would be all hell breaking loose (ooh la la -- what a great tie back to friday, g....happy monday to me)

Make no mistake.
This is a campaign speech.  (that sly little devil...figuratively speaking and said in jest, of course)
This is a message to the world, and especially to the wee little people of America, preparing us; a second term will ring in four more years fulfilling Obama's presidential/dictatorial bucket list.  oh joy.
What the front yard.
Thanks for the honesty, Mr. O, but for reasons I am sure you can understand -- like full disclosure and transparency and being held under the oath of office, to name just a few -- what else?

We, the People, are now fully entitled to know more.

Make it a Good Day, G

Totally separate subject (kinda sorta):
Here's a good look back to 2003 -- a snapshot of what the Afghanistan people were thinking then.

Did you know this happened over this past weekend?
"The families of the dead, who received the money Saturday at the governor's office, were told that the money came from U.S. President Barack Obama, said Kandahar provincial council member Agha Lalai. He and community elder Jan Agha confirmed the payout amounts."

which is funny -- cuz it made it sound like Obama just took some of his earnings from book sales and wrote a check to each family out of his own pocket and generosity... when EVERYDAY AMERICANS covered for these payments. And in light of the fact that these payments are unusually high, in comparison to what has been paid in the past (around $10 grand), it was awfully generous of him.
What were they paid:  $50 grand for every death, $11 grand for the wounded.  [worth in Afghan dollars, something like $2.4 million ]
...can he just do that kind of thing now?

Dear America,

what do they say, imitation is the highest form of flattery?
here's a little happy monday ha-ha, taken from my memory of an opening of a sunday morning sermon from Joel Osteen -- who, if you ever watch him -- likes to open the show with 'something funny."  and here it goes:

...so a scientist says to God, 'you know, we really don't need you around anymore...we kinda got things covered, we can make stuff, clone things, fix a broken heart...'  to where God says, 'fine. then we can pretty much settle this right now,' challenging him to  MAKE MAN out of dirt. to where the scientist says, 'fine then' as he begins to pick up a handful of the stuff under his feet...to where God says, 'hey, get your own dirt.'

funny stuff.

we are so full of ourselves these days, aren't we?

I listened to about a minute and a half of the president on 60 Minutes last night. I couldn't handle it.  It was the 'redoubling of the narrative' that got me squirming; spare me.  All about how HE, oh wise one beyond belief, decided to redouble the efforts to find bin Laden from nearly the first day of office.

He called Leon in, HE sat him down, and HE told him so.  Were it not for HIS redoubling, we would still be searching and not finding, according to the way Obama sees it. It was all due to the culmination of efforts according to HIS plan, HIS military, HIS CIA, and last but not least, HIS GUT.

From one of my favorite patriot hangouts, The Patriot Post:

"The Bush antiterrorism protocols -- tribunals, renditions, preventative detentions, Predator assassination missions, Guantanamo Bay -- were decried as illegal and immoral. Such furor vanished, however, when President Obama embraced or expanded them all. The effort to preemptively remove the mass-murdering Saddam Hussein to foster democracy in his absence was seen by many in the media, universities and legal community as morally wrong -- and yet preemptively bombing Gadhafi to foster democracy in his absence is now considered morally justified....--historian Victor Davis Hanson
The hypocrisy is simply disgusting -- if Bushie had done what Obama just did, he would have had his head on liberal media chopping block, with people like Naomi Wolf calling for him to be hung out to dry on war crimes, with 60 Minutes running a mini series on an administration's illegitimacy, illegal actions, all going against our Judeo-Christian principles and values (cuz they are just that fickle), likening him to Hitler...a mini series, indeed, as it would take at least that long.

The thing is, if Obama is the brilliant one these days, how in the world could HE have not been ready, willing and able to handle the narrative in the aftermath?  If he is 'ALL-knowing,' how could he not prepare  -- from day one -- for the perfect answer for everything?  How could he not -- from the moment HE bagged the guy (I mean, swaddled him in blessed linens and threw him overboard under Islamic law, fit for a king) -- how could he not have just come out and said, 'there will be no pictures' there is 'nothing to mull over and think about' in this regard; how could he not just say, 'the deed has been done, for all the right reasons, and we will not even begin to ponder the question 'to show you, or not to show you' for it will serve no real purpose in doing so.'  that would have sounded like a Commander in Chief.

Bush, with the help of people like Donald Rumsfied, redoubled the special operations budget first (according to Rumsfield, in an interview with Hannity last week). The supply side of our stellar American Military was built up and made ready first.  Special Ops -- the SEALs, Rangers, etc. -- were redoubled all the way around; basically, made pretty and tied up in a bow for Obama.

Completing the circle of gratitude to the men who were the Chief Decider's over eight years of finding bin Laden would have been nice...scratch that... would have been presidential.

Let's insert another morsel from The Patriot Post:

The Last Word

"My objections to Obama have nothing to do with his race or his country of origin, everything to do with his character, his policies and his inner circle of friends and associates. Just for the record, though, until now I didn't believe he was born in Hawaii. Otherwise, why wouldn't he have shown his birth certificate early on, long before his comrades had come up with 'birther,' a term of contempt that, miraculously, would have been synonymous with 'patriot' if the president in question had been a Republican. Even now, Obama continues to keep his college application and college transcripts under wraps, although liberals never weary of telling us how astonishingly brilliant the guy is. Maybe it's just the skeptic in me, but he hardly strikes me as the sort who would conceal his marvelous academic accomplishments under a bushel if they were even half as breathtaking as we've been led to believe. Now that his place of birth has been established, don't be surprised if a few of Obama's acolytes come forward to swear that when he left the islands to enter college in California, they actually witnessed young Obama walk from Hawaii to the mainland. You'll be able to read all about it in the Newest Testament." --columnist Burt Prelutsky

According to the latest running narrative of the president's 2012 campaign, the president is poised to try to run as some sort of underdog -- or rather,  the 'insurgent from within' mentality.  [hold up, while this girl gets in a real belly laugh....oh my....I needed that] Anyone think this is totally out of character... let alone awfully strange -- considering the little known fact that HE IS, currently, Leader of the Free World?

Me thinks Prelutsky is onto something here; as we have witnessed over the last several years, embedded in every speech the president makes, the guy doesn't like to conceal His own magnificence.  Everything revolves around the I's and Me's.

Now, according to the new strategy for 2012, we are supposed to believe that this guy hasn't fundamentally transformed anything; we are asked to recalibrate our perceptions and impressions with a new understanding, that he's just like us (where have we heard something like that before...)  Yeah, just a simple man, a grassroots rebel with a cause,  just a guy who wants freedom and liberty for everybody... just starting out small, along with maybe a few friends, on facebook.  yeah yeah, that's the ticket.

Never mind that the man behind the curtain has callously changed the fabric of American life in every way:

health care mandates, not --
creating policy for more energy dependence, not --
"justice" department, what justice dept? --
doubling price of gasoline, not --
emasculating NASA, not --
20% growth of government, not --
disenfranchising small business, not --
even adding to the list --
new bake sale regulations just to make us giggle in the moment, not --

shall I go on?  Not.

NOPE, he has done nothing of the sort to lead us to believe that HIS administration's got nothing when it comes to mimicking a Super Power.  absolutely nothing. did I say nothing?

Oh, and...and about that justice department --
HIS justice department will not stand down; HE will not cease and desist in the viscous, legal pursuit suing certain CIA officials, who, under the Bush Administration were given a direct order from the president, to use an enhanced interrogation technique, which, by the way, led to the receipt of information, that led to a guy, which led to more information, that led to a courier, that led to more information, that led to a plan, that led to our special forces, that led to our Navy SEALs Team 6 taking out Osama bin Laden in a "firefight."

Yes, on the one hand he wants to come off as just an "insurgent" -- as if... I'm just a simple man, a community organizer, only kicked up a notch.  He wants to equate himself as someone much like the rebels in Libya, the democracy all a-flutter in Egypt, siding himself squarely and firmly with the little people. Yes...like he is coming back from being behind, or something.  an underdog...

right. that's a good one.

But then, in the other hand, he is totally and thoroughly remaking the kingdom.

The thing is, kicking around the dirt isn't the same thing as making dirt, there is that -- but this "insurgent"  seems to have mastered playing both sides on the fly; and, as luck and by association should have it, HE seems to have pulled it off so well, nobody seems to have noticed we are sitting in cement.

you are good, Mr. President.  you are good.

perhaps your thesis was on this very thing, something like, 'Cementing the Commonwealth' (we have no way  of knowing, of course -- it's all conspiracy theory until you show us yours anyway).  But that won't keep me from guessing...

was it more along the lines of 'how to make hay with a little dirt?'
or was it, 'how to act like an insurgent aiming to be king?'
or was it 'humble beginnings, from dirt to riches, in equal distribution for all?'
or was it, 'how to mimic civility when slinging mud in the eye?'
or was it 'dust to dust, America, may she rest in peace?'

Today, I laugh in the face of danger  (that being from The Lion King -- 'cuz I give credit where credit is due).

Make it a Good Day, G
