It's an America Getting Gang Banged by the Power Elite Thing

Dear America,

If I were to say, both parties are equally at fault, would I be sounding like I mean to say, BOTH parties are equally at fault?

In a flurry of forwarding emails sent to a group yesterday, my response was exactly that; and to be perfectly clear, I didn't even initiate the first one out of the gate -- I was simply the second or third voice, in a line of responses that went merrily on their way long into the afternoon.

But like I said, my main thrust of the debate focused on the fact that We the People have put people in office who have not been mindful, shall we say, of our money; We the People took our eye off the capital, allowing the government to grow and bulge and burst right before our eyes.

Anywho, moving right along here, in an instant  I was admired for making  a few salient points but with a big BUT dropped in at the end:  "but I'm afraid ideology is more important to many people than principles."  And immediately, I wasn't sure if it was directed towards me in particular, or simply making a general observation of the close-mindedness of "other people" who cling to their ideological fits of genius.

But then, this person used a Bill Maher line as the great equalizer:

"Bush and friends ordered a lot of food,
ate some of it and then left without paying the bill."

and then proceeded to say that under the Bush Administration, "the debt limit was raised 7 times"...

And again, allow me to scream from my mountaintop: BOTH PARTIES are equally at fault.

But how odd is that --  Bill Maher isn't exactly one to pussyfoot around his own political bias, for one; and for two, this person, apparently, clinging to his own ideology, chose a divisive, arrogant, explosive comedian who has no problem using political vitriol to fuel his audience and his success.  But maybe we can laugh it off  --

Have I mentioned this?....BOTH PARTIES....seem to be equally at fault.  And now, allow me to prove it.

For the last twenty years, we have had nearly equal participation from both parties, pretty much all the way down the line -- in the Oval Office 50/50 occupancy with the R's and D's; Congress, 50/50 control in R's and D's.

Now with regard to debt limit increases, through the legislative process under both parties (per the party controlling Congress, which creates the legislation and the annual budget resolutions) 50/50 -- five raises before 2006 and five after over the last ten years.

Under Bush, the first increase of the ceiling was in June of 2002 to roughly 6.4 Trillion (from 5.95 T); the second, December 2002; in February 2003, the Treasury took measures to avert an increase; but by May, Congress raised it; then the Treasury raised the ceiling  in Spring 2004; Congress raised it again by November of the same year; in 2005, Congress included a "debt limit (raising) reconciliation instruction"  within the Budget Resolution for 2006, but no action was taken until much later, when the actual limit was raised in March of 2006.  The Budget for FY 2008 was the final increase under Bush; this increase brought the debt limit to 9,815 Billion.

We then had a series of increases as part of nearly every major piece of legislation brought forward to supposedly "FIX us" -- beginning with the Housing & Recovery Act, the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act, the TARP reinvestment Act, as well as the FY2010 Budget  Resolution -- taking us through the numbers from Bushie's nearly 10 Trillion to 12.104 Trillion, then to 13.029 Trillion, and then finally, to where it sits today, at 14.294 Trillion.

All in all -- during Bushie's eight years, the National Debt grew from nearly 6T to 10 Trillion; and under the Obama's watch, from 10 T to 14 Trillion.

The only difference -- which, one would have to be totally stuck on one's personal ideology not to see it -- is that Bush had eight years, two wars, a housing bubble, and 9/11 rock his world.

Obama, on the other hand -- has only had two and a half years under his belt -- after getting America into a third war, creating a stimulus bridge to nowhere, adding an unfunded healthcare liability which, by the way, steals 500 Billion dollars from Medicare, and all while, scaring the living, breathing daylights out of any current risk taker, or wannabe risk taker, into sitting on their money.  Investment, expansion, corporate innovation of every kind has been squelched, put on hold indefinitely (regulation, unknown - healthcare costs, unknown -- taxes, unknown...).

So like I said, BOTH PARTIES are at fault -- dating back twenty years (at least).  BUT, if you wanna add an itty bitty polka-dot bikini butt in there -- Bush, and his Congress, had six more years on Obama.  Apples to apples, dust to dust -- if we go a full two terms under the Golden Boy, at the rate he's going, with another six years we would be sitting at 26 Trillion dollars.

Because of the level of UNFUNDED liabilities -- Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid -- and the new "Affordable [Health] Care Act" -- we cannot continue at the going rate.   It is just not feasible in any way -- I don't care if it is an R or a D following your name.  Incrementally, the rate of escalation sends us on a trajectory that we all know is unsustainable.  And at some level, even Obama agrees (let us be reminded of his political mind from 2006):

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

yeah yeah, ideology didn't get into his way there, now did it?  yeah, yeah, now of course, he regrets having said that today -- it is different, you know, when you are the leader.

Granted, G has had her pretty little face in the sand much of the last ten years -- I seem to have missed raising a little Cain during the Bushie years.   MY APOLOGIES to YOU, AMERICA.  What can I say, those years are gone.  Albeit frittered away... at my job... raising my girl... arguing with her daddy over child support and custody, trying to keep a roof over my head and staying out of trouble.  I know, I know; excuses, excuses.  I ONLY WISH I was paying closer attention to every little breathing detail like I do now.  BUT Please, please accept my apology now.  I promise to do better.  Consider G thoroughly smacked upside her head now.

And I would also like to think, that besides being more awake these days, that I am not one to cling to a cultural political ideology, as much as I prefer to cling to the ideology of our founders --  the foundation itself --  the principles and values that made this country great.  That, to me, means adhering to the creative process this nation was intended.  It means, sticking to the Constitution, aligning with the Rule of Law, keeping to our inherent duty as citizens, as countrymen, to be a self-reliant, independent bunch, living in the freedom to pursue our own happiness, under a LIMITED, federal government.

BOTH PARTIES used to agree on this one to a great degree -- whether you were an R or a D -- solvency was an essential ingredient, part of our nature, whether you came from the left or right.  Sure, we may have different things that make us tick, but all in all, we should all be able to come together when it comes to keeping our fiscal  house in order.  I mean, tell me, who doesn't want that?

This person that made these free-flying Bill Maher Bush-bombs, continued to convey the importance of sticking to the principles, not ideology, in another '[SPAM] reply all' but directed towards one opinion in particular -- and then proceeded to close with "I was a conservative once, and then I got educated."   and all that's left for me to say to that is, wow.  way to reflect your magnificent principles, dude.

That is almost as ripe as our president walking out of the Debt Ceiling meetings yesterday, and telling Eric Cantor "Don't call my bluff."  really?

Nobody is immune, are we?  Even the president stoops to levels of playing politics with ideology -- leaving founding principles and values in a heap on the floor.  And what in tar-nation is that?  So you are playing chicken with the debt ceiling; you are playing with matches in a haystack.  Bluffing?  You said it, Mr. President.  You don't want Eric to call YOUR BLUFF.  Are you kidding me? really?  seriously?  you said that out loud?

Politics is what gets in the way of doing the right thing; this vicious cycle runs as predictable as climate change, just as explosive as human nature.

Just know, the latest contagion of the American Fall (direct opposite of the Arab Spring) --  the one rippling through our world in waves, going totally global,  in a fierce, viral conversation -- a debate that nearly every card carrying member of the Power Elite are beginning to join in chorus --  is the call for raising America's debt ceiling and the pending doomsday if we don't.  Moody's, Wall Street, Bernanke (and the Fed in general), IMF President, Geithner,  Buffett...RINO's and DINO's... Maher (that is just to make us laugh) -- the pitch is one in the same -- raise the ceiling, or America will default on the debt and it will be all over.

It is almost like America is getting gang banged by the Power Elite to do what they say, not as they do.  wow, talk about the Chicago code, an elitist mob rule, kicked up a notch...with everyone dressed to the nine's in haute couture ....Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Givenchy...like ladies and gentlemen ga ga gook

[But one, in particular, seems to have issues...
"I do not want, and I will not accept a deal in which I am asked to do nothing. In fact, I am able to keep hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional income that I don't need, while, uh, a parent out there who is struggling to figure out how to send their kid to college suddenly finds, uh, that they've got a couple thousand dollars less in grants or student loans. That's what the revenue debate is about." - Our President of the United States of America, just July 11

...does wealth bother you that much, Mr. President? Do you not know how to put it to good use?  Does it embarrass you that much?  Would your mother or your father or your brother call you a "sell-out" or something?  talk about some kind of dark ideological, internal conflict...You do know that an attitude of limitation is totally un-American, right?...oh right, and again, my conversation on Shared Sacrifice vs. Shared Prosperity is being pushed off to another day...]

Let's wrap things up.

The truth is, the Debt Ceiling was masterminded by man as a tool; it was to intended to keep our government in CHECK.  (That is a good one, isn't it.)  The debt ceiling is imaginary; man made it all up right from the start.  They -- government -- keep ignoring it, because they -- government -- want to continue to borrow and buy on credit -- so that they --  government -- can continue to do the things it was never intended to do in the first place (like offer entitlements, in particular).  They -- the government -- continue to do this to keep the peace and control the happy stupid people.

Just like the tide, doesn't matter if it be R's or D's...both parties are equally at fault.

And political, you betcha.

Which is exactly why resting on our founding principles IS the only way to do America, to do it right.

Which is exactly why the Tea Party is rising in this country (predicting a Tsunami force by 2012).

What?  You think we Tea's are bluffing, or something?
That's a good one.

Make it a Good Day, G

and to all my muses on the day, many thanks for the inspiration.

And you know, if we want to stick to PRINCIPLES, not ideology, a notion I can fully support for the sake of this debate -- then we would have to restrict, repeal, and not replace, nearly 2/3rds of the reckless spending within our current federal budget. All entitlements go against the American Principles.  Most departments are entirely unnecessary.

In truth, if you read the Constitution, the powers of the federal government rest almost entirely upon protecting us -- as in providing a strong military, and allowing for a grassroots militia of citizenry, as well as, protecting us from an overzealous government on down the road; the enumerated powers LIMIT government, while manifesting an UNLIMITED power of the people.  Our principles and values relied on INDIVIDUALS maintaining principles and values -- above personal ideology -- while making painfully clear our direct responsibility and duty to uphold...principles and values.

Dear America,

Thank God it's Friday.

To wrap up the indoctrination by maher segment of the week, let's recall a couple of his final words of wisdom from last night's appearance with Bill O'Reilly, as it is just so fascinating to watch; he's much like a baboon in the wild, and you never know what sounds he'll make or what load of crap he will undoubtedly throw at you. And all I can add to that is, thank God we continue to evolve.

"60% of the people believe Noah's Ark is true..." in high blasphemous billy fashion...going on to pound out the idiocy of literally believing every word of God as if it were true, even quoting a verse in "Deuteronomy" to prove it...as if God told "his people" that discovering your neighbor working on a Sunday is enough to warrant killing them.  right, Maher Luther, king of the jungle, that's what he told us to do, and by golly, we follow..doink y der dee do...I think a coconut just hit me on the head.

There was a moment when he threw O'Reilly a bone (at least, I think it was, hard to tell from this far away) when he proclaimed, "I think if Jesus were in charge (today), we'd have health care for everybody."  Does Maher not remember what happened in the temple? But there we go again with the redistribution of all the bananas and the power in the bunch...

Oh, my my my maher, ye of so little faith; you really hate the believers of this world, don't you.

One thing that keeps batting around my head, with regard to this great contempt for the religious extremists of the world, is how you seem mum when it comes to the fundamental Islamic extremism wreaking havoc across the world, and taking on America from ground zero on up -- especially, as a New Yorker and all; how is that possible that you are not calling out these horrific actions of extremism, based entirely on a belief system, having birthed from one of the sons of Abraham?!

The history of Christianity does include defending our ground from time to time against Muslim extremists; and yet, here we sit, at the start of the twenty first century, still defending those who can't but with one difference, our militia is not simply Christians -- but includes Jews, Buddhists, Agnostics, Atheists... even 1.6% Muslim...we come as one nation under God in full UNI-form as AMERICANS.

As its been done from kingdom to kingdom come -- every war, every conflict -- Americans have never come in the name of a Christian God, ever.  We have never adorned our soldiers swaddled in fabric and sword in the name of Allah (or God), and continue to praise Him as we act out our radical religious order against heathens of other faiths -- much like the Islamic Extremists attacking the oddly peculiar, yet apparently highly threatening, western world of the Christian species.

So where are you on that, Willy?

And I can't even believe you admitted to the world, "I don't know" -- trying to explain how the Earth was made, "nobody can explain it" you say...babbling on some more, about how the ignorance of "championing faith" is nothing more than "suspending (all) critical thinking." Have you lost your mind?  Because the absolute fact remains, for you to even have a chance TO THINK about it, should give you plenty of ammo to answer that question.

You must have missed G when we defended God (of all kinds) featuring a book by a physicist and Jewish/Theologian Scholar, having been fully educated and doctored from MIT, Gerald Schroeder (http://www.geraldschroeder.com/) His latest book, not to be confused with a number of others, including The Science of God, The Hidden Face of God, and Genesis and the Big Bang --in his latest, God According to God -- and you're gonna love this part -- actually uses excerpts from the Bible to prove specific scientific points.  Genius really.

Anywho, what I have noted before and will surely say again, the Big Bang, the beginning of it all, began with something really BIG to create it; what was that something? Just a thought.  ker pow, bang, der it is.

Something had to THINK about it first; as the accidental mathematical physical probability of having it all come together, at just the right time, at just the right temperature, came down to a nano-second, or perhaps an eternity, knee deep into thought to basically come up with the 'build it and they will come' philosophy back behind creation itself.  Gives a girl goosebumps, how 'bout you?

Schroeder offers us this...

"...then came the discovery of the uncertain, fuzzy world of the quantum.  And suddenly our classical view of reality, the inbred misconception that reality must conform to our logic, was shattered. We have discovered that the reality we perceive stands in place of, or better said, represents, a deeper essence of truth.

And that is what I discuss here, the idea, admittedly speculative, that the truth of our universe is not as we perceive it, even with the aid of the most sophisticated particle accelerators and most powerful space telescope; that from the invisible realm of the quantum to the vast reaches of space, our universe may more closely resemble a thought than a thing."

The alchemists and meta physicists have delved into the world of thoughts-are-things for centuries -- it isn't anything new; while even the modern day gurus, self-help promoters, and preachers collide with our ability to change our world, change our life, starting with a simple thought; that what we think about expands; that our very thought is the actual genesis of all things we are surrounded with (be it person, place... or shiny new thing).

Everything we do, and everything that is here and now and ever will be, begins with a thought, an idea, a realization of that which could be a something being virtually created out of a nothing, all within the confines of the mind.

Mr. Maher, your cult following captures just such a thing; as you had an idea, and lots of them really, and not all of them good, but in each new day, you are able to ponder, voice, expand your extremists views out unto the world -- and make money off of it!  Oh, what a wonderful world we live.

It doesn't matter, the matter in which we live; what matters is what we do with it.  Do we throw it around haphazardly, or do we treat it with care?  Everyone is at a choice to do it there own way -- at least here in America, we still can -- which should make you fall to your knees in thanksgiving.  Other parts of the world, are not able to think freely and act accordingly and create a life in liberty and justice and free speech for all -- while attending a church of their choice, or not.

Some people actually want to attack that part of us, no matter where we live in the world, just because we are different  here in America -- we let people live and let live under a rule of law that fully supports and defends our GOD given, UNALIENABLE RIGHTS.  Our laws, rights, amendments, constitution and declarations only put to word what already IS; for our unalienable rights do not come from man, or a government, or a president, or even from the evolution of baboons; these inherent rights are passed down from generation to generation from God; we are intimately connected to the Source of all things, good and evil, right or wrong, seen and unseen, without falter and in pure faith.

Our rights -- if we could only be fully satisfied by calling them that -- come from the One; they come from the one, true, First Thought.

Some religions are, quite frankly, disturbed -- threatened -- emboldened to attack -- such totalitarian freedom enriched territory, land of liberty and home of the brave.   Allah-u-Akbar! (only my) God is Great!

I am thrust into a thought, going way back when, to the days of Abraham and descendants of Ishmael, and ponder just how the world would be right now if only Mohammed had changed a thought, or two; I wonder too, with the Qu'ran being taken so literally, verbatim, as the word of ALLAH, around the world, you must think all Muslims are idiots, too, Mr. Maher -- or no?

Or, are you just afraid to say that out loud?

Did you know, they believe in many of the same prophets...they adore mother Mary (Suru Maryam)...and are not afraid to admit they believe in Angels, too?

But the reality is, according to the Land of Ishmael and the making of Islam (and feel free to ask the closest Muslim near you) the Qu'ran is speaking the word of God, literally, word for word, across the world, around the clock -- so call me funny, but I would think that would bug you more, Maher; for they, fully admit it.  The gospel of the Qu'ran makes something like honoring thy father and mother sound like a nursery rhyme.

So let's face it, we can agree to disagree about all sorts of details, but extremism in any shape, genealogy, or ancestry is deadly, dangerous and destructive -- end of story.  Be it the Bible or the Qu'ran or the little red book of Mao, what truly matters is the thought back behind the things, the consciousness back behind the actions, the mindfulness back behind the creation of an America or an Iran, an Iraq or an Afghanistan, a Cuba or a China.

The individual, who acts, who does, who thinks, becomes fundamental; hence, the premise behind the making of our Declaration of Independence, and our Constitution -- to the actual making of our children, the remarkable little creatures that they are, who happen to not only have the great responsibility to survive the legacy of debt we are leaving them, but somehow be able to do so while passing on the fundamentals of love and life to the next generation, and so on and so on...

Where do we govern from an open heart, allowing for the freedom to think and grow rich, living in a country who worships liberty, shelters the common man, and defends the inherent rights of all people, equally but not without great difficulty -- with civility, while fortunately for us, on most days, without suicide bombers disturbing the peace with religious fanaticism and extremism in the townsquare -- AND FURTHER be allowed to follow that heart... to find hope, peace, forgiveness from Sunday to Sunday, believing (or not) in an Unimaginable God, of Out of this World Proportion, who really we wishes unconditional Love upon us all?

Show me that land and I will show you where I want to live, both literally and figuratively, metaphorically and verbatim -- and more important,  I am not afraid to say so.

Let us all say a little prayer for Maher today (I think he would just love it) and
Make it a Good Day, G

Dear America,

This congress of ours is stupid; and brazenly, as THE deciding vote -- at just a hair out of place past midnight -- as the campaign trail was more pressing -- Nancy, in stellar, partisan, pasty-face and botox buffooned-eyed fashion, adjourned the house.  The vote 210-209.

The decision to adhere to the Bush Tax Cuts for all, postponed.

So, this is what we can look forward to:  once the house it taken over by conservatives, come November 2, we fix it (say it like a Russian spy).

In the meantime, we have a community organizer - in - chief, rolling up his shirt sleeves, meeting with friendly fire in backyard pow wows, never knowing what bows and arrows will come at him.  Case in point, the fair maiden who dared to ask, "why are you a christian?"

Again, isn't it alarming enough that we are in a position to ask such a question?  Does this give anybody else the willy's, or is it just me?

To be in a place when everyday families are struggling with the economic downturn (s), showing even more angst over health care and its costs than ever before, lacking all confidence in where we are headed as a nation, questioning the knee jerk reactions of a president from everything from a police officer acting stupidly in Massachusetts, to dimwit underwear bombers in Michigan, to Allah-loving, nut case, army doctors in Texas, to religious fanatics raising victory mosques in New York, to making mindless, blanketed oil drilling  moratoriums in the Gulf and beyond...we get someone questioning the president's christian roots, scalping the very integrity of his beliefs????

and no dance around the fire whatsoever; whoosh, as if you didn't see it coming, having only felt the breeze behind the ear; what just happened?

um ahh um ahh

"my Christianity [you know] is by choice."  (so it's the really smart man's Christianity, not just some aimless, d***less, spineless, pointless, ridiculous follower of Jesus Christ, like so many of you ignoramus Americans are born and raised.)

um ahh um ahh

"[you know, it's kindof a funny story] my family didn't... ahh ... frankly...they weren't folks that went to church every week."  (maybe cuz, your mom was raised with parents who took her to 'the little red church' on the hill, was naturally drawn to questioning faiths of all kinds, blown over with romantic feelings for Marx in school... that is until she found herself totally love struck and smitten with Obama Sr. and made you --  stark reality meeting with the mystery of his Muslim heritage...soon overshadowing whatever belief she may have been born with, paving the way for the entire village to takeover the raising of her son)

um ahh um ahh

"my mother, is one of the most spiritual people I know [but how could you...you hardly knew her]..."  ( not to take away from my father's faith, for I believe that too -- and not to diminish that which I felt, for my friend, and father figure, really my mentor in Rev. Jeremiah Wright...twenty years there, you know, he presided over my marriage, my girl's baptisms...he taught me everything I know about Jesus Christ...in being my brother's and sister's keeper, to treat others as I would want to be treated...you know... that my salvation is reliant on the collective salvation...) let's stop there, as it is giving me a headache.

You know what's funny, is when Bill Maher talks about faith.

Now he is one smart guy, by golly; he's got it going on upstairs, that Bill Maher, you know what I mean?

Okay, so blah blah blah, we all know that Bill Maher holds his disdain for the "religious right" so tight to his chest, he's should have had a heart attack four years ago; but let's go ahead and dig into this some more anyway.

He said last night, with Bill O'Reilly, "I like it when a president uses his brain...and not his faith, his heart, or his gut."  Translation: Bush is stupider than Obama, Obama is smarter than Bush -- hands down.

This is where things get sticky now for the president -- that is when confronted with acting in faith, bearing testimony of his Christianity, so to speak -- the bows get crossed.

Ooopsy daisy, gotta curb some of my Christianity, in front of my staunch liberal left base (the elitists who are way too smart for a belief in God) and yet, on the other hand, I have to sound like I'm like one of the 80% of normal everyday Americans.  hmmmm  what a quandary.

Now, according to Mr. Bill, an avid follower of the Chosen One, Obama-san, you are dumber than dumb if you are a believer in God (so he must really be squirming with the latest confessions of a president of faith, or is this a faith of a different color, kind, category, heritage unknown ) -- oh, and fyi, there are no fanatics on the left (he says) no extremism whatsoever, no movement, nothing remotely close to the Tea Party lunatics, consisting entirely of right wing racist rabble rousers.  Oh my Maher, thank God you do not rule my world; how empty it must be, to be inside your head.  Talk about giving somebody the willy's...

hold up a minute while I attempt to shake this off...

this president of ours is so freaking confused -- is has come full circle, gone round in circles, hopped over the circle, dismissed there ever was a circle -- he is so out there now, so far, that even the resident witch doctor doesn't know what to do.

What somebody should be telling him is to shut up; stop, just stop. Go out into the woods for forty days and forty nights, and find yourself; pretty soon this will all be over, the elections will have come and gone, and all this will be behind you; just stop. Go out and get yourself together, buddy -- as, quite frankly, with you, like this, you're just in no shape to be showing up even one more day. Dare I say, somebody needs a burning bush and a re-birthing.

What we expect of you, at top of the totem poll and not to be confused with the latest AP polling, is that a real Chief sits and leads -- oh thee of so little faith, a faith so unrecognizable, we have to stop and ask you about it to be sure; and then again, maybe it's just a case of things being cloudy because you have lost your head to too many special interests, keeping too few convictions, having not a lick of understanding of either your role or the true essence of what Americans really want, having completely and regularly disappointed us; oh how you continue to find a way to agitate and annoy, is beyond me. Oh, where oh where is our Loretta Castorini now...for I'm telling you, just snap out of it already. (that would only make sense if you have read G in the last few days; not that I always make sense; but it's my blog, I can say what I mean and mean what I say any way I please... but lets move on.org)

Perhaps it is the very lack of existence -- of the attributes and inherent truths of both being an American President and a Christian Truth-er, that has the audacity of showing, dear one. Did your mother teach you this -- or is this all dear old dad? or would that be the step dad? or the grandmother you held in contempt for being white? or the mentor of twenty years through Black Liberation Theology? or simply those you CHOSE to associate with while community organizing around Chicago?

Who made you into this man we see today? Who do you credit the most?

For this is the crux of the matter -- and we never thought it would ever come to this, as we surely had no way of seeing this coming -- but the fact remains: we question who you really, really are.  And the irony, really, it should  have been enough to say "(you) CHOSE (it)" -- as if you deserve a prize, or something.

We thought you were one thing, and we got something else; but somewhere between the latest version of voodoo economics, and the divisive, derisive, contemptuous attacks against our very unity, as a people, we the people have come to realize we've been dooped.  You are not the bi-partisan, uniter-in-chief we thought we welcomed into the middle of our circle; you do not deserve to lead at all.  We all turned into bumbling fools, fawning and fantasizing over you like there was no tomorrow -- and this is what we get?

It is hard to pretend, isn't it; nothing could have prepared you for what you were expected to be, to each and every one of us.  You didn't see it coming; and yet, to this day, you still have no idea what it is about you that sends our head spinning in all different directions.

Or do you?  And you go ahead and do it anyway.

You see, the gig is up, Little man Tall President who is running out of enough arrogance to keep your psyche afloat; your reputation precedes you and your pathological progressive agenda leads you, like no other president has ever come before.  We know this to be true, as people like F***-the-stupid Willy Maher to  Little Bridge Willy Ayers, along with a couple of Two Trillion Ton Ninny's like Pelosi and Reid, continue to circle up the wagons around you, sitting all cross legged and bug-eyed amongst your loyal collective peers (or is that follower).  We know this to be true; which is why we sit -- transformed (thank you for that) -- and question you.

but let me be clear,

it's really not about the money, or the Christianity, or even if you still smoke...while I'm quite sure, as I wasn't born yesterday, that you are well enough aware and smart enough to know better.

The problem we have now is that its any one's guess as to who you really are -- and that goes especially for you; not that we've got time for this -- for we thought we knew you knew -- but God's speed in getting right on that and figuring it out.

I think I speak for all Americans, when I say, we will take you any old way it turns out -- we're kinda cool like that; what we have difficulty with, much like the battered economy, is the uncertainty (and you possibly being a bonafide fraud) -- but it is the question in the back of our minds after the never ending full frontal lobotomy that keeps chipping away at the core belief, out of the simple everyday, run of the mill, mishaps and indiscretions against the grain.
