It's a Searching for The Presence Thing

Dear America,

this morning's daily devotional from Jesus Calling, by Sarah Young:

"APPROACH EACH NEW DAY with desire to find me.  Before you get out of bed, I have already been working to prepare the path that will get you through this day.  There are hidden treasures strategically placed along the way.  Some of the treasures are trials, designed to shake you free from earth-shackles.  Others are blessings that reveal My Presence:  sunshine, flowers, birds, friendships, answered prayer.  I have not abandoned this sin-wracked world; I am still richly present in it.
Search for deep treasure as you go through this day.  You will find Me all along the way."
It's May 23rd.

It's also the Day After a catastrophic suicide bomber terror attack in Manchester, England, killing 22 souls, and wounding so many others, be it emotionally, physically, spiritually...

It's a day many of us wonder, really....if there be a Good God, why Lord?  What is this all about?   How do I go through another day with such evil living and breathing and having its way with all the rest of us?   No, seriously, this time I want answers.

It's a day when we must purposefully dig deep, unearthing the strength, uncovering the coverage, to fight back with everything we have... for everything we hold dear.

Searching for you, God,
searching for that treasure...
A couple of bunnies  usually accompany me,
sitting in my corner window to the world,
while I sip my morning coffee...
today, for the record,
they were a no show.

It's unsettling to hear that the United Kingdom is home to around 3500 suspected terrorists right now, having roughly 400 "UK citizens" return from the battlefield in Syria, after fighting on the side of ISIS. If jolly old England can have as much as 3500 terrorists walking around, how does that translate into the number of suspected terrorists living in the United States?  Is it like, 35,000, maybe?

It's realizing one of the lost souls was an eight year old little girl, who, experiencing probably her best day ever was also her last day on earth...oh my Saffie Rose Roussos

Searching for you, God,
searching for that treasure...
I can't see it.
why Lord, why is there a link
to this little girl
in the middle of my blog?
How could that happen?
Oh, Saffie Rose
may you rest in peace little love --
may the bunnies surround you,
may rainbows greet you,
may you be in the arms of Jesus as we speak.

It's not a day like any other!
It's not the new norm El Rushbo, who is right now sitting on the right side of everything going wrong, as usual... and aiming to bring a sense of calm?  Um no.  Even HE can't handle this now; he's already moving on to other things and now  all I hear is a stinging ringing in my ear that I am virtually unable to shake.  Perhaps this explains how this girl tries not to listen to you, Rush, whenever I venture to write something.........Sing it with me, "You spin me right round, baby  Right round like a record, baby  Right round round round  You spin me right round, baby  Right round like a record, baby   Right round round round"

Searching for you, God,
searching for that treasure...
It doesn't matter what is tweeted,
it doesn't matter what the world's leaders say,
it doesn't matter how many thoughts and prayers go out.
All I can think about is my girl --
currently 3500 miles away.
I can hear her in my heart.
shshshshs little baby

It's a new world, alright.

It's a world where political correctness is going to get the best of  us...and I'm talking about your best, my best, my baby's best, your baby's best....it's all up for grabs.  And while this evil reigns in fits and spurts around the globe, these lone wolves, these radicalized Islamic terrorists, will march onward, one by one, unless we actually do something about it.  We MUST ACT FOR AMERICA.

It's a religious war from the perspective of the Islamic Terror groups; they hate Christians to the point of wanting to kill them, just because of the faith they follow; they hate gays to the extent of wanting to kill them all, just because they are homosexual; they hate and control women....being rooted in misogyny through the ages.  The Western World is under attack just for being everything Western -- for the civil rights of freedom and liberty and equality for all is the antithesis of the Islamic Sharia Law, the "law" from which these terrorists live, mandating the killing of infidels of all kinds, no matter where they live.  You see, there truly is no separation of Church and State in the Islamic world; it is one and the same.

Searching for you, God,
searching for that treasure...
At some level,
we know everything we need to know
in this moment...
in this moment after terror strikes.
And it isn't waiting for the other 3,499
suspected terrorists  in the UK to
come out of the shadows waving a white flag.

It's like, what if we really do have 35,000 suspected terrorists in the United States right now ready to make a move?   Oh wait.  It's not 35 thousand soldiers....TRY OVER A MILLION!  If I were president of the United States, I would round them all up, one by one hundred thousand, and send them home, immediately.  No attorneys needed.  [And most important, the entire family would go with him/her, including cousins.]   And I would temporarily shut the borders down, too.  Oh yes, I said it again  --  lock the door, people, lock the door.

It's like, San Diego is not immune; this city has sheltered known terrorists...and to this day, continues to allow these monsters live here with nearly no questions asked (bear in mind that link there is old, it's from 2011!).

Searching for you, God,
searching for that treasure...
my coffee was good this morning,
there is that.
And later today
this girl will go to work
as if it's business as usual.

Even though, deep inside I know it's not.

But I will walk with you, anyway, God,
one step at a time.
I will search for you in the trees
as the rustle of the leaves
speak to me.
And I know they will,
just as they did yesterday.

It's just not a good day.

May God bless this beautiful world in which we live, the United Kingdom, Manchester, dear Saffie Rose and her family, the president of the United States who is scheduled to meet with the Pope later on today...
and you still think things are random?

Oh there are no accidents; there are no mistakes; there are no tragedies that we don't meet without the proper strength, courage and resilience to set them right side up as we fall down in the pages of history; these tragedies teach us something in the course of our future security within the greater context of God's  Divine Path, a path already lit with the Presence of Something Greater than all of us put together.  God is still on the throne.

talk to me, Jesus...
all yours

Make it a Good Day, G

Dear America,

For this week, just another day in the life of an American girl, we come to a flourishing finish of the things we take for granted.  As the things we cherish --- Life, Liberty, the Pursuit of Happiness -- witnessed time and time again, can be swept out of our arms in a heart beat.

We go about our lives, during the wee hours of the 21st century, hardly taking a moment to keep our liberties in check, our freedoms understood, along side the various things only prosperity can bring.  As a country, as a nation of people of great faith, we have created the very conditions to grow family and fortune without prejudice.

But above all, the greatest duty arose from the powers of Congress and our leadership, to protect everything and everyone within our borders -- by force, if we have to.

And ever since, a Force for Good was written into the cornerstone, lasting as a permanent fixture upon which this land was made and saved and honored.  Memorial Day is merely one day, out of 365, that we set aside to give thanks to those who have served and have given their life for us.

The day is also known as "Decoration Day"  -- and with that, let us pause to make a mental note of how wearing our memorial day has grown more for show over substance.  Do we stop ourselves, whether at the BBQ or beach [recognizing news just out today that my hometown, is home to the #2 beach in the world -- in Coronado], to recognize our inherent duty and delight that protecting our freedom brings?  Or have we long grown unaware, unaffected, ungrateful or forgetful of the force behind our good?  After all, after awhile, life begins to hum along so easily, overwhelmed by our own delight, forsaking our duty becomes almost natural.

We can keep up appearances for quite some time, but eventually, everything falls back to substance -- doesn't it?

Sadly, we have grown accustomed to our superficiality in nearly every aspect of life -- unless perhaps you are lucky enough to live somewhere where God and Country still reign high on the list of priorities (thinking Joplin as just one stellar example).

The thing is, a strong military isn't just something a country throws on just before heading out for the parade -- it is the single most important element of our federal government's duties and responsibilities (granted, the one thing we are absolutely supposed to pay for and sustain).

And for the most part, it has been fully and successfully, managed, operated and upheld, solely by volunteers.  Patriots -- fellow Americans willing to give their life, and give everything of themselves, to protect our liberties; and not only defending America, but around the globe --  no matter where the call, no matter what the duty -- self-assured, having not a doubt in the world of their capabilities.  Soldiers, band together, and take up arms, to save something greater than themselves. [And they are so handsome to boot!...oops, but I digress...]

And what do they do:  oh just a little Freedom saving ... Liberty bell ringing...protecting, basically, all the things our lucky stars take for granted...  To police a safe and democratic election.  To stabilize a budding democratic government.  To save a people from genocide,  To protect a land. To honor and hold accountable a nation's security.  To stand up to repression, oppression and the works of tyrants.  To bring water and aid.  To defend borders, agreements, whether by armistice or by hand shake. To fight to the death, if they must.  And finally, to simply reign by reputation just knowing they are there -- on the ready -- winning a war that never needed to be fought in the first place; fully recognizing that just by reputation, association, organization and sheer might, America defends herself and has frightened away countries and armies who might try.

Memorial Day is that kind of day.

What we take for granted becomes the thing we must never forget.  This military, this protection, the defending of something intangible to the naked eye,  should be our primary concern every single day.

Which ties into something else I read this morning...upon the news of discovering a "missing mass" in the galaxy.

"Whenever I speak to people who have influence, politicians and so on, they sometimes ask me 'Why should I invest in physics pure research?'. And I sometimes say to them: 'Do you use a mobile phone? Some of that technology came about by black hole research'.

"The pure research has knock-on effects to the whole society which are sometimes difficult to anticipate."

We just go about our day, using our I-phones and being able to log onto Bing! in a nanosecond, and nobody seems to care about a thing.  It's done.  We connect. We live.  We prosper.  And all along the day we pick up that fancy new thing-a-ma-jig, decorated with crystals and in our favorite color, just expecting it to work.   Far from our minds is what it took to get there...to be able to talk to anyone, anytime, (almost) anywhere (can you hear me now?).

By the way, regarding that "missing mass"  --  "a 22-year-old Australian university student has solved a problem which has puzzled astrophysicists for decades....Undergraduate Amelia Fraser-McKelvie made the breakthrough during a holiday internship with a team at Monash University's School of Physics..."  wonders never cease.

And did you know that Commander Kelly gets to talk to his wife everyday from space?

As we continue to revel in new discoveries, and innovation, and science, let us not forget the things which truly matter in the great scheme of life and the protection of a country -- for these are the things fundamental.

Brigitte Gabriel, who had to leave a home country, Lebanon, after her homeland was attacked by radicalized Muslim extremists, eventually found her way to America.  She has created Act! for America.org as her way to give back to her new found homeland, as a way to reinforce America's stance and actions around the globe, waging a war against terrorism.  She knows terrorism first hand -- from a memory dating back to her childhood, to a time when her parents were killed, to a time when she had to flee everything she ever loved.

Today, she responds to the holiday with a special grace and charm, saying:

"Words tremble on my lips and emotions swell in my heart in my attempt to humbly thank you for all the things you do to protect America and the world. Words cannot express my depth of gratitude for your service, for your sacrifice, for all that you leave behind to go forth into the world and protect America’s interests around the globe.

Let my grateful words thank you for the nights you slept freezing in a tent or sweating in the desert, for the lonely days you spent missing your loved ones, for the hours you spent sick in pain and without someone holding your hand, for the moments of sheer fright in the heat of battle, for the wounds you have suffered fighting evil, for the endless days in hospitals undergoing painful surgeries, for the precious occasions you have missed back at home. For all of these sacrifices I thank you on behalf of millions of Americans who are so grateful for you. We truly appreciate these sacrifices.

A special thank-you is in order to your families, to the parents who raised you and made you be the man or woman you are today. I thank your wives, husbands, and your loved ones who stand by you and support you with their love and dedication.

And for those who returned in eternal sleep, may their legacy be honored for generations to come, may the tears shed over their coffins fertilize the fields of patriotism in our nation to raise a new generation built on strength and honor, able and willing to follow in their footsteps when duty calls to defend America. May their blood not have been shed in vain. May we prove worthy of their sacrifice.

You who have served and are serving are our brave ones, our heroes, and our national treasures. You are the pride of our nation, our strength and our foundation. Thanks to you, millions have been freed around the world. Thanks to you, those who criticize our country, burn our precious flag, and speak ill of you, are able to do so because their freedom is built upon your blood and your sacrifice.

I salute you one and all. I bow before you in respect and humility. May God bless you and bless America, land of the free and home of the brave, and the dream that became my address."

...to "the dream that became my address"  need I say more.   nope.

...at least, not without my own last two cents anyway...

THANK YOU
for yesterday,
today,
and tomorrow.

Make it a Good Day, G

speaking of defending our borders and agreements...have you been party to receiving this roaming email:

Dear President Obama:

I am writing today with a somewhat unusual request.  First and foremost, I will be asking that you return America to its August 20th, 1959 borders so that Hawaii is no longer a state and you are no longer a citizen.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Fear not -- all is not lost --  as clearly, we still have a wicked sense of humor. bravo tango charlie.

Dear America,

The Ten Cannots

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot help little men by tearing down big men.

You cannot lift the wage earner
by pulling down the wage payer.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man
by inciting class hatred.

You cannot keep out of trouble
by spending more than you earn.

You cannot build character and courage
by destroying men's initiative and independence.

And you cannot help men permanently by doing
for them what they can and should do for themselves.

 William J.H. Boetcker
(1873 - 1962)
yes..and it does sound a lot like a Lincoln quote...
the work is apparently
all Boetcker,
printed in 1916;
but ever since about the year 1942,
against popular belief,
this work has mistakenly
been attributed to a Lincoln-ism,
I have done so myself on more than one occasion;
but long story short,
call it a printing error that keeps on ticking.

In any event, here we are, Happy Friday.

With emotions piqued to the point of bubbling over, bearing witness in Wisconsin of the often violent and vitriolic chants rising from a congregation of fellow Americans we thought were just like us, you know, with policemen, firemen, teachers like us, how did we get here?  we all seem to be in the fight of our lives; why? how?

-- for reasons answered in another set of Boetcker-style bullet points and truisms, simply entitled, THE SEVEN National CRIMES...with nearly a hundred years  to show for it...

  • I don’t think.
  • I don’t know.
  • I don’t care.
  • I am too busy.
  • I leave well enough alone.
  • I have no time to read and find out.
  • I am not interested.
What we value -- our day to day lives as we know it -- and being left well enough alone -- safe in the hamlets and the harbors of America -- is in the midst of having all of our convictions tested.

Little did we realize how our own leaders have taken full advantage of us; our lack of attention to details; our delusional laissez faire attitude towards our indebtedness (up until now); taking more time to rationalize our fall from grace, as a society, let alone within the walls of our own homes, than in taking the time to correct it; and now, having  traveled so far, and so long, in the opposite direction of our nation's founding principles -- no longer do we recognize the way back, even if the overwhelming majority of us wishes to make it so and go.

And then, you have people like Michael Moore (eww) say things that are so reprehensible and wrong, it just makes your head spin: "...our country is not broke...Wisconsin is not broke."

Typical.
Leave it to a multi-millionaire (and by the looks of things, a glutton of more things than one)....a guy who makes a living peddling liberal propaganda...
...leave it to this kind of guy to tell us to, basically, stick your head back in the sand, everything is okay, you got nothing to worry about (but death and taxes, of course).

who wants to bet me that if we had a republican president, and senate, he would be riding this debt horse hard and often, like a Paul Revere alerting us to a sea of little red coats?

Oh but for those WHO WANT to pay attention, and maybe think beyond the scope of Charlie Sheen or Lindsey Lohan, apparently, the news we get isn't nearly as grand as Al Jazeera CCTV; at least, according to our highly educated and learned Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton:

"Al Jazeera is winning. The Chinese have opened up a global English language and multi-language television network, the Russians have opened up an English language network. I've seen it in a couple of countries and it's quite instructive."

So Al Jazeera is putting American media to shame now...really?

Now if you go to their website, Al Jazeera,  (the made for America one, that is) it will look rather civilized...but bear in mind, one of the more popular programs is a show led by Sheik Yussef Al Qaradewi; according to this website, they refer to his show as "RELIGION & Life" (You LIE!) -- in actuality, it is called, "ash-Shariah wal-Hayat" or SHARIA & Life.  If you couple that with a deeper understanding of the channel's demographics, the majority of the viewers are young, very poor, and 96% Muslim (and let me guess, more radical than not).
The following is just a snippet of a sermon, through Al Qaradawi's weekly program, Sharia & Life, from 2009:
"Oh Allah, take your enemies, the enemies of Islam. Oh Allah, take the Jews, the treacherous aggressors. Oh Allah, take this profligate, cunning, arrogant band of people. Oh Allah, they have spread much tyranny and corruption in the land. Pour Your wrath upon them, oh our God. Lie in wait for them. Oh Allah, You annihilated the people of Thamoud at the hand of a tyrant, and You annihilated the people of 'Aad with a fierce, icy gale, and You destroyed the Pharaoh and his soldiers — oh Allah, take this oppressive, tyrannical band of people. Oh Allah, take this oppressive, Jewish Zionist band of people. Oh Allah, do not spare a single one of them. Oh Allah, count their numbers, and kill them, down to the very last one."
...said from the mouth of a man who also believes in female circumcision, as it's just the right thing to do, but "not mandatory"; while, with regards to homosexuality -- death -- by stoning of course.

But this is the kinds of "news" our secretary of state believes is light-years ahead of American TV.

So we're not broke after all, thanks to recent revelations from Michael Moore; and Americans need to get a better grip on the goings on around the world through the 'hear no evil, speak no evil', eyes and ears of the Arab world, like Al Jazeera TV, giving us a heavy dose of Islamic Extremists, like Al Qaradawi.  -- according to someone who should really know better ...(Oh, and fyi, Al Qaradawi is BANNED from entering the United States, since 1999...but Hillary loves, loves, loves Al Jazeera CCTV!  oh my gawd, say it like a valley girl)

And if you are in the mood for more news, check out more of David Horowitz' Discover the Networks.org...he provides a wealth of information...about anybody and everybody that may wish to do harm...which is always good to know.

But back to Boetcker, "we cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong."

I'm not sure what kind of game is being played on America, within America, right now -- but this I do know -- talk about having a great cause for concern, of our inescapable demise about to come our way, for their can't be an effect without a cause...due to...
...our political correctness
...our deaf, dumb and blindness
...our Judeo-Christian values that have raised us, and raised us well (up until now) that now, ironically, are being used against us -- setting us up to be the apologists and sympathizers and pacifists and peace keepers for all the world, just in time to bare WEAKNESS in front of all the world  to see -- and most definately, aired on Al Jazeera CCTV, don't miss it...

(and please, don't mis-characterize what I mean here, or take things out of context... being a peace keeper is good for all the world, and that goes for everywhere in the world...but that reality is not being real, is it)

But for these three things.. and the Seven National Crimes and The Ten Cannots...oh my goodness, oh my goodness.  having now completely lost ourselves to a world of hurt, decay, indebtedness, entitlement, rationalizations, and whole lot of this can't be good.

Once! we lived a life of formidable strength -- of character, of boldness, of innovation, of defense, of exceptional-ism, of  truth, of honor, of integrity, of sound free market principles, of freedom and linerty for every individual, respective of the law to each their own, in pursuit of their own happiness and prosperity and grace.

Once upon a time, we stood for too many things to count.  now, look at us; and listen to us; the whole world is watching, as our president says quite often...

The way Islam reads this... weakness IS a provocation.

But hey,
Make it a Good Day, y'hear, G

for another reality show worth watching -- tune into Brigitte Gabriel's Act for America; a link to startling new insight on what is allowed to go on everyday within our colleges and universities, and strengthening the Muslim Brotherhood here in America as we speak...read this, featured on  BIG PEACE...and then, if you are up for it, ya gotta read this.

Dear America,

that was June 2008, coming into his own while in the final months leading up to the election, the election that would fundamentally transform America.

He was talking, in no uncertain terms, just how deep his drive, how committed to the process he was -- reciting a line out of the Untouchables gave it just the right amount of verve, his point couldn't be made any other way.

I feel quite certain that what is unraveling in Egypt began has a simple, grassroots, run of the mill, peasants in the streets demand for justice.  No one is questioning that.

But who are they really?

Hillary, and half of Washington, seems to think they are just like 'us;' just like you and me -- people who only dream for equality, freedom of assembly,  freedom of speech, and any other democratic "pillar" that comes to mind -- "pillars" of western society she would have us believe -- a democracy just like ours.

Hate to break it to you, Hill, but you have American arrogance showing, not American compassion.  How Americans define and live within democratic society is not the same thing -- matter of fact, if we can be honest here, it is a far cry from apples to apples, reed to reed, fig to fig.

And really, I can't tell anymore...its all in layers now, with clashes upon clashes; who are the bad guys and who are the good guys, if any; have you seen the pictures... they are all throwing rocks, they are all bringing knives, they are all blowing up things -- who's to say the crowd of thugs, of either side, haven't been penetrated by the real bad guys, the Muslim Brotherhood by now? (following their own handbook of Rule for Radicals, translated into Arabic twenty years ago)

Facts are facts, it went from "peaceful protest" to a fireball overnight.

But here we are, deep within the melee of information overload, and I am finding myself overwhelmed by the sudden impact of a question now penetrating my gut; now completing my week, looking at What We Buy and Why, how do we decide what we buy as bona fide -- based on sound principles, believed to be truth -- and what is not? Is the narrative that pronounced and self-explanatory nobody asks any real questions anymore?  Are we really the sheep just following the herd all the way to the slaughter house? Just because it's on ABC, we don't wonder about XYZ, let alone el-em-en-oh-pee?

Who are they really?  these Egyptians in the streets...what do they like, what do they want, and are they really just like us?

Caroline B. Glick, for the Jewish World Review, gives us a hint (make that, slaps us with a two-by-four):

According to a Pew opinion survey of Egyptians from June 2010, 59 percent said they back Islamists. Only 27% said they back modernizers. Half of Egyptians support Hamas. Thirty percent support Hizbullah and 20% support al Qaida. Moreover, 95% of them would welcome Islamic influence over their politics. When this preference is translated into actual government policy, it is clear that the Islam they support is the al Qaida Salafist version.

Eighty two percent of Egyptians support executing adulterers by stoning, 77% support whipping and cutting the hands off thieves. 84% support executing any Muslim who changes his religion.

and there's more!

What has most confounded Israeli officials and commentators alike has not been the strength of the anti-regime protests, but the American response to them. Outside the far Left, commentators from all major newspapers, radio and television stations have variously characterized the US response to events in Egypt as irrational, irresponsible, catastrophic, stupid, blind, treacherous, and terrifying.

The question most Israelis are asking is why are the Americans behaving so destructively? Why are President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton charting a course that will necessarily lead to the transformation of Egypt into the first Salafist Islamic theocracy? And why are conservative commentators and Republican politicians urging them to be even more outspoken in their support for the rioters in the streets?

Does the US not understand what will happen in the region as a result of its actions? Does the US really fail to understand what will happen to its strategic interests in the Middle East if the Muslim Brotherhood either forms the next regime or is the power behind the throne of the next regime in Cairo?

so, let us wonder, why is it okay to meddle now, in Egypt, when it wasn't so cool, to meddle, in Iran?

so, why is it cool to force our ways, the western ways, now -- for the freedom of these people, at this time?

but scarier, is realizing that our own president, our secretary of state, and half, if not two-thirds, of Washington are apparently looking through rose colored glasses of democracy seeming to think they are doing nothing wrong  here -- and clearly, totally unaware of who these people are and just what "these youth" really really want.

What is truly crazy town, is watching our government make this grave error, bringing a knife to Mubarak's side while strongly suggesting he step down (now)...while Mubarak just hunkers down with his big guns...saying something to the effect, 'I can't go now, surely there will be chaos...'

And popping in the very same vein -- in the very same way the radicals have been taught never to let a crisis go to waste -- the Muslim Brotherhood begins to simply blend in and find their way; it's all just a means to an end, just a means to an end, whatever happens now, will only push our agenda to the top of the list, paving the way for a new savior to save the people of Egypt -- yes, even Islamic Extremists...

remember, 84% believe in executing Muslims who change their religion...82% love, love, love execution by stoning to adulterers...and funny, only 27% back 'modernizers' (ah, that would be the democratic factions).

We've seen sudden uprisings occur overnight even here -- recalling the buses of union members and Hispanic coalitions being planted on the streets of Arizona immediately following the immigration legislation -- further back we found 'transplants' from unions and left wing agitators showing up at townhall meetings, trying to disguise themselves as Tea Party people and then creating a raucous, bringing actually guns, manipulating the truth, if you will, without batting an eye. These tactics are as old as d'Nile....badump ba.

And we don't think there isn't anything weird going on when Code Pink has set up headquarters in Cairo, under the protection of Hamas???
 yeah, that's a good one.

I'm not buying what the mainstream media is dishing out; I am questioning all authority at this point, and god help the next time I get pulled over for rolling through a stop sign...not that I ever do.... :)

But Hillary seems to think the Egyptians want our kind of democracy.  huh.  interesting.
wonder if she has done any research on that?
you know who she should talk to is Caroline B.Glick -- or at the very least, read what she has to say to those of you  "Clueless in Washington."

It's just weird, for even as I found myself uncharacteristically listening to her every word, when Hillary said:

"We condemn in the strongest terms attacks on reporters covering the ongoing situation in Egypt. This is a violation of international norms that guarantee freedom of the press and is unacceptable under any circumstances. We also condemn in the strongest terms attacks on peaceful demonstrators, human rights activists, foreigners, and diplomats. Freedom of assembly, freedom of expression, and freedom of the press are pillars of an open and inclusive society. It is especially in times of crisis that governments must demonstrate their adherence to these universal values. There is a clear responsibility by the Egyptian Government, including the army, to protect those threatened and to hold accountable those responsible for these attacks. The Egyptian Government must demonstrate its willingness to ensure journalists' ability to report on these events to the people of Egypt and to the world.

"Vice President Suleiman spoke today about the need for free and fair presidential elections. That is essential. And I urge the government and a broad and credible representation of Egypt's opposition, civil society, and political factions to begin immediately serious negotiations on a peaceful and orderly transition. The Egyptian people expect a meaningful process that yields concrete changes."

Yesss, it was just yesterday... late afternoon...the sun was high and the birdies were singing...when I found myself,  my mouth aghast... it was all happening so fast...suddenly, I went crashing to the floor; when she got to the point in bold, large print, made large enough to poke your eye out, all I could do was fall over, making a scramble for my weapon of choice, my remote.

"Universal Values", she says -- huh, I laugh in the face of danger hahaha; Hillary, believe its best for you put your can of pepper spray back in your purse, you have lost control of the entire situation, nothing can help you now, except perhaps a serious graveling to the next dictator.

And final question for the day, just why is our president trying so hard to convince us he is all Christian all the time?  Why now?  And if he truly doesn't care what people think, the people's perceptions, why did he go down that road while speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast?

He didn't have to, he could have talked about all kinds of personal testimony of choice to a crowd there simply to hear him speak, certainly hanging upon his every word -- and yet -- as the people in his inner circle put it,  he was "up all night" making sure he got this one right.  (i.e. it must have been really hard to act like, and talk like, the way that he was expected to -- it would seem, by how difficult it was to find the words, finding the organic nature of his very own beliefs took awhile)

SO WHAT if only 34% totally think he is a Christian -- so what if the other 18% believe he leans Muslim, while the another 43% have not a clue -- so what?   (Just look at the odds against Jesus for a moment)

But you, are president of the United States of America, for Pete's sake.  Are you worried -- is that it?  That when we look back, examining your presidency, evaluating with a fine tooth comb at the things you said and done, that we will look upon this detail, hindsight being what it will be, will be, asking ourselves how could we have just let this happen ...like the innocent bystanders of a crime...wondering where oh where our common sense had gone...oh where oh where can she be...

Back to a quick click on Glick:

MOREOVER, SINCE the paradigm claims that the non-Western world's grievances towards the West are legitimate, Obama's Middle East policy is based on the view that the best way to impact the Arab world is by joining its campaign against Israel. This was the central theme of Obama's speech before an audience dominated by Muslim Brotherhood members in Cairo in June 2009.

Like the pro-democracy paradigm, the anti-colonialist paradigm is narcissistic. Whereas Western democracy champions believe that all people are born with the same Western liberal democratic values, post-colonialists believe that non-Westerners are nothing more than victims of the West. They are not responsible for any of their own pathologies because they are not actors. Only Westerners (and Israelis) are actors. Non-Westerners are objects. And like all objects, they cannot be held responsible for anything they do because they are wholly controlled by forces beyond their control.

Anti-colonialists by definition must always support the most anti-Western forces as "authentic." In light of Mubarak's 30-year alliance with the US, it makes sense that Obama's instincts would place the US president on the side of the protesters.
y'see, Hillary, as Secretary of State, I am stunned that you don't know this stuff -- because if you did, I strongly believe you would be acting differently (and the same goes for our president too)

I mean, the more I look at everything, who's to say the president is just trying to create the very conditions that adversely affect the ability to ship oil through the Suez Canal -- I mean, really, surely we would be faced with a crisis then, and have no other choice, and it wouldn't appear to be Obama's doing whatsoever;  no longer would Cap & Trade, or new EPA regulations, be required -- couple that with his moratoriums and brand new oil and gas regulations and penalties,  we would be forced to change rather quickly, making way for an overnight transformation on what energy we use...and how we live our daily life.

...wouldn't that just speed things up for America...I do believe my head is about to explode...

Suddenly, I have Glenn Beck echoing in my brain:  "Question with BOLDNESS" or is it really Jefferson?  Ah no matter, who really cares, right,  it's just plain good.

SO here's my final newsflash on the day, going out to all you westerners out there -- fear not, but may I suggest we watch our back.

Make it a Good Day, G

Thank you to Brigitte Gabriel, president of Act for America, championing educating Americans, everyday, about the mingling of cultures and creeds of Islam and the Western World.  It was through her efforts I found the article highlighting the "Clueless in Washington."  And of course, to Caroline Glick, for your ability to stealthy define and explain the unimaginable position we, the western world, now face.  Bless you both for what you do.
