It's With a Certain Hand-picked Emphasis Added Thing

Dear America,

"Coincidence is God's way of staying anonymous."
Albert Einstein

so, on a good day -- being a girl of faith --
this somewhat nerve-wracking, accidental sequence of events -- as if the country is simply stringing it along coincidence after coincidence -- is, for all intents and purposes, just a part of the plan.

And it's like, oh, wonderful -- we can all be rest assured; God's got this.  No need to fret.

Oh but what to do with myself.

The foundation is shaking, my mind is trembling, my spirit seems broken.

Here I am, now reaching for my White Eagle handbook,  as I naturally search -- as in, to seek and to find exactly what this moment merits:

GOD WILL NOT FAIL YOU
When in doubt, do nothing.
Be still, have patience and wait.
Learn to be still, my children,
to be calm and still and wait for God;
God will not fail you."

Which suddenly brings to mind something from Sunday...Joel Osteen's message.  Osteen was like, notice how we don't have to teach our children impatience, how to throw tantrums, to give in to the rather organic, carnal nature bubbling up from the depths of our soul.  It just comes up and out, no holds barred.  Boom.

I'm three and I want              now.

From three, we eventually make it to kindergarten, get past grade school and if we are lucky, continue to grow and expand our horizons and develop a hard earned character that obviously makes us better humans.  It takes awhile; for some, it may even take a lifetime; for others, it may never come.

But the thing is, nobody had to show us how to be at our worst; that part of ourselves seems to come about naturally, without thinking, and certainly without thinking like God.

And when we individually, then collectively, begin to show this side of ourselves, having clearly drifted far, far away from the things that Divine Providence divined in us, how in the world can any one of us be surprised when it comes to the results?

Coincidences collide.  Consequences arrive right on cue.

And next thing you know, it's the end of the story.  End of an era.  The end times come marching in with aplomb -- and don't look now, but look at how that ego of ours just eats it up... madly, deeply, unapologetic-ally, and without ceasing.

Yes.
Indeed.
Perhaps I am being a wee bit too melodramatic.

Now recently, my good fortune allowed for me to break for spring with my girl, home from school.  It was, coincidentally, perfect timing; for this girl, yours truly, was well on her way to committing some kind of high crime or misdemeanor, for sure, given the state of absurdity in this republican primary.  Let's just say, my patience was not wearing thin, it was gone.  The forced pause from my world ultimately gave way to being fully unplugged for over a week!  And what a God-send! Who knew?  (tee hee)

[There are no accidents.]

But there are plenty of ironies right about now...

Take for example how some of The Right have taken to Trump just as some of The Left flocked behind Obama back in the day; it's like, what weaknesses, right?    What do you mean, suspect associations?   What do you mean, narcissistic tendencies, with a penchant for throwing tantrums, name calling, and acting like he is twelve?  So we solve this problem masterminded by the political elitists by electing a populist elitist who has more money than God? Really; God doesn't need cash or credit, bullion or billions.

The biggest question that seems to continually make my head spin seems to stem from the position of character:  is this really the best we've got?   There are three hundred million of us and whether considering what's on the left or right --  this is it?   A Leftist/Socialist or some kind of right wing composite developed in a high rise in New York City like a picante sauce?

And make no mistake, a quick study of the followers arrives at very much the same place, more or less.

Desperation made this.

House of Cards aside, Hollywood couldn't put this scenario together any better if they tried.  The conditions, the bureaucracy, the corruption, the wanton Congress, the usurpation of the law, the absence of our sovereign border protecting the very security of the nation, the demolition  of our military, the liberal re-write of our history and traditions, the growth of Washington's power grab - no matter which party is in charge, created THIS -- this natural escalation by tantrum.  Look for the perfume to come out soon...

It's not like we needed a lesson; it just happened...organically...

T  A  N  T  R   U  M  P

and continuing to repeat myself like a good politician....

On a good day, all of this might even feel like God has a plan, that God is still in charge.  That this tantrum is essential, part and parcel of things to come in order to rebuild and reform America -- an America so lost and all alone these days.  And then again, from the perspective of a rather warped world -- who needs any more of the Divine when we've got Trump? right?

And sadly, it's not like any other possibilities are jumping up and down in tandem.

UGH.  It's so easy to feel overwhelmed.

My senses feel nothing but loss, a great sense of shame, as I struggle to take note and keep a diary of this day in the life of this American girl.  It's all a gosh darned shame thing.

The thing is, human nature is so easily ruled by our feelings; and people in power know this.  And when we can be swayed by how we feel, we not only limit ourselves, we create the future from a position of feeling depressed and oppressed at the same time.

Oh, the art of persuasion and the allure of temptation reigns high. Hmmmmm take a pill or do the work and walk off the extra weight all by myself?  America has been stuck on the quick fix for ages; we are constantly looking outside of ourselves for all the answers.

The manipulation -- whether it's from inside the Trump campaign, or the media, or the other campaigns fighting to stay alive -- is propaganda, at best.  And to be perfectly fair and forthright -- it's just the way the game is played.  This is politics.  And like Churchill once said, "when going through hell, keep going."

As God smiles down upon us and says something like...all of the answers come from within, my child.

So to end THIS day on the old G thing,
here's something GOOD from Marco Rubio, from last night, as he bowed out of the race with the grace of God:

.....That we find ourselves at this point is not surprising, for the warning signs have been here for close to a decade. In 2010, the tea party wave carried me and others into office because not enough was happening and that tea party wave gave Republicans a majority in the House, but nothing changed. In 2014, those same voters gave Republicans a majority in the Senate and, still, nothing changed. And I blame some of that on the conservative movement, a movement that is supposed to be about our principles and our ideas. But I blame most of it on our political establishment.
A political establishment that for far too long has looked down at conservatives, looked down at conservatives, as simple-minded people. Looked down at conservatives as simply bomb-throwers. A political establishment that for far too long has taken the votes of conservatives for granted, and a political establishment that has grown to confuse cronyism for capitalism, and big business for free enterprise. I endeavored over the last 11 months to bridge this divide within our party and within our country because I know that after eight years of Barack Obama this nation needs a vibrant and growing conservative movement and it needs a strong Republican Party to change the direction now of this country or many of the things that are going wrong in America will become permanent, and many of the things makes us a special country will be gone. America needs a vibrant conservative movement, but one that’s built on principles and ideas, not on fear, not on anger, not on preying on people’s frustrations.
A conservative movement that believes in the principles of our Constitution, that protects our rights and limits the power of government. A conservative movement committed to the cause of free enterprise, the only economic model where everyone can climb without anyone falling. A conservative movement that believes in a strong national defense and a conservative movement that believes in the strong Judeo-Christian values that are the formation of our nation...

...But after tonight it is clear that while we are on the right side, this year, we will not be on the winning side. I take great comfort in the ancient words which teaches us that in their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. And so yet, while this may not have been the year for a hopeful and optimistic message about our future, I still remain hopeful and optimistic about America...
...I ask the American people: Do not give in to the fear. Do not give in to the frustration. We can disagree about public policy, we can disagree about it vibrantly, passionately. But we are a hopeful people, and we have every right to be hopeful. For we in this nation are the descendants of go-getters. In our veins runs the blood of people who gave it all up so we would have the chances they never did. We are all the descendants of someone who made our future the purpose of their lives. We are the descendants of pilgrims. We are the descendants of settlers. We are the descendants of men and women that headed westward in the Great Plains not knowing what awaited them. We are the descendants of slaves who overcame that horrible institution to stake their claim in the American Dream. We are the descendants of immigrants and exiles who knew and believed that they were destined for more, and that there was only one place on earth where that was possible. This is who we are, and let us fight to ensure that this is who we remain. For if we lose that about our country, we will still be rich and we will still be powerful, but we will no longer be special.
...And I want you to know that I will continue every single day to search for ways for me to repay some of this extraordinary debt that I owe this great country. And I want to leave with an expression of gratitude to God in whose hands all things lie. He has a plan for every one of our lives. Everything that comes from God is good. God is perfect. God makes no mistakes. And he has things planned for all of us. And we await eagerly to see what lies ahead. And so I leave tonight with one final prayer, and I use the words of King David because I remain grateful to God:
“Yours O Lord is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth. Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and you exalt yourself as head overall. Both riches and honor come from you and you rule over all. And in your hand is power and might and it lies in your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.”
May God strengthen our people. May God strengthen our nation. May God strengthen the conservative movement. May God strengthen the Republican Party. May God strengthen our eventual nominee. And may God always bless and strengthen this great nation, the United States of America. Thank you and God bless you all. Thank you very much.
Magnificent, indeed.
The only thing to add is the hand-picked emphasis, above.

Make it  a Good Day, G

ps...if, at the end of the day, this girl is going to be forced to get behind Trump, make no mistake -- kicking and screaming will come first.  Just sayin'

It's a Clash of the Old and New World Thing

Dear America,

It's what happens when pro-choice and pro-life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness meet, the Marco Rubio way --  (allow me to explain, using his own words):

Let me close by saying this. For many of us who were born and raised in this country, including me, it's sometimes easy -- sometimes easy to forget how special America really is. But I was raised by exiles, by people who know what it is like to lose their country, by people who have a unique perspective on why elections matter, or lack thereof, by people who clearly understand how different America is from the rest of the world. And they've taught me this my whole life.

And they taught me, by word and by deed, that what makes America great is not that we have more rich people than anybody else. What makes America great is that there are dreams that are impossible everywhere else but are possible here. And why is that? It's because of the choices that people that came before us made.

Almost every other country in the world chose to have the government run the economy. They chose to allow government to decide which companies survive and fail. They chose to allow government to determine which industries are to be rewarded. But the problem is that when government controls the economy, those who can influence government keep winning, and everybody else just stays the same. And so in those countries, the employee never becomes the employer, the small business can never compete with a big business, and no matter how hard your parents work or how many sacrifices they make, if you weren't born into the right family in those countries, there's only so far you can go.

Now, we've had our excesses here in America, but for the better part of 234 years, Americans have chosen something very different, Americans chose individual liberty instead of the false security of government. Americans chose a limited government that exists to protect our rights, not to grant them.

Americans chose a free enterprise system designed to provide a quality of opportunity, not compel a quality of results. And that is why this is the only place in the world where you can open up a business in the spare bedroom of your home.

That is why this is the only place in the world where a company that started as an idea drawn out on the back of a cocktail napkin can one day be publicly traded on Wall Street. That's why this is the only country in the world where today's employee is tomorrow's employer. And yet, there are still people in American politics who, for some reason, cling to this belief that America is better off adopting the economic policies of nations whose people who immigrate here from there.
skipping over a wee bit...

The final verdict on our generation will be written by Americans who haven't even been born yet. Let us make sure they write that we made the right choice, that in the early years of this century, faced with troubling and uncertain times, there were those who believed that the great American story had run its course. But we did not agree. Fear did not lead us to abandon our liberty. Uncertainty did not lead us to abandon the entrepreneurial spirit. We fought for and held on to those things that made us exceptional. And because we did, there was still one place in the world where the individual was more important than the state. Because we did, there was still at least one place in the world where who you come from does not determine where you get to go.

For the full transcript, go here.

Looking back, America has made poor choices  -- one, by electing Barack Obama, and two, re-electing Barack Obama.

But let's get one thing straight:   America was bamboozled.

Conservative media and popular websites are currently affixed upon a campaign video dating back to Obama's first campaign;  the Fraud-in-Chief was so convincing, and so affirmative in his disgust, way back when...

"The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up the national debt from 5 trillion for the first 42 presidents — number 43 added 4 trillion dollars by his lonesome, so that we now have 9 trillion dollars of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic."

And even as a Senator, Obama was pontificating about the recklessness of such a path.  This is from MARCH 2006   (and while I would love to tell you I found it all by myself, I didn't -- my papa passed this little gem off to me in an email weeks ago....it was just waiting for the right moment in time to present itself, taking notes from a master and commander.  xoxoMDC)  so here you go:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure.  It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills.  It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies.  Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally.  Leadership means that, 'the buck stops here.'  Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren.  America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership.  Americans deserve better."

He said, "America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership."

And then,  as if all that isn't enough to question our choices, here is our president -- just yesterday -- talking to George Stephanopoulos:

"Well- I understand.
Which is why, at some point, I think I take myself out of this. Right now, what I'm trying to do is create an atmosphere where Democrats and Republicans can go ahead, get together, and try to get something done. And, y- you know- I think what's important to recognize is that- we've already cut- $2.5- $2.7 trillion out of the deficit. If the sequester stays in, you've got over $3.5 trillion of deficit reduction already.
Um, say what?   First, what you just said is a lie; you have not shown ANY REAL CUTS in the deficit, and you won't, until real numbers prove it.  But second, what is this :   "If the sequester stays in, you've got over $3.5 trillion of deficit reduction already."

Um, but whatever, let's keep going...What do you mean, Mr. President?  Have you lost  your mind, I mean, the urge to put the fear of God into all Americans over the sequester cuts, as if NOW, at least on this day, for this audience, you consider these cuts to be a good thing and a complete benefit to you, and maybe all of America?  How can you sit there and count them 'in' when every day for the last two weeks you have demagogued the GOP for letting them happen?

And, so, we don't have an immediate crisis in terms of debt. WHAT?

In fact, for the next ten years, it's gonna be in a sustainable place. WHAT THE...??

The question is, can we do it smarter, can we do it better? And- you know, what I'm saying to them is I am prepared to do some tough stuff. BUT YOU'RE NOT prepared to do the tough stuff...you just said "at some point" you will take yourself out of this...(see preceding remarks, you can't miss it)    Neither side's gonna get 100%. That's what the American people are lookin' for. That's what's gonna be good for jobs. That's what's gonna be good for growth."

Oh, and here's a good one:

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: And he said he's challenging you to come forward with a budget that also reaches balance. Are you gonna do that?

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: No.

...And then goes into cutting Paul Ryan's balanced budget to pieces... just go to read it here.

But then George picks it up right back up again (hardcore journalism at it's best):

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Balanced by any point?

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: -that he's put before. No. I think that there is a possibility. Look, balancing the budget in part depends on how fast you grow. You remember- you were in the Clinton administration. The reason that you guys balanced it was a combination of some tax hikes, some spending cuts, and the economy grew.

And, so- you know, my goal is not to chase- a balanced budget just for the sake of balance. My goal is how do we grow the economy, put people back to work, and if we do that we're gonna be bringin' in more revenue. If we've controlled spending and we've got a smart entitlement package, then potentially what you have is balance. But it's not balance on the backs of, you know, the poor, the elderly, students who need student loans, families who've got disabled kids. That's not the right way to balance-

...Yeah, what's the fun in chasing a balanced budget for the sake of balance....fiscal solvency, a decent credit rating, and presenting a solid economic footing to create the very conditions for a prosperous future for our children and grand children?

But let's not quibble over fives and dimes, right.

How about this line?

"And, so, we don't have an immediate crisis in terms of debt."
Oh, okay.

In 2006, we apparently had an immediate crisis in terms of debt, "shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren" and everything.

In 2008, we apparently had an immediate crisis in terms of debt, and called such recklessness "irresponsible" and "unpatriotic."

In 2009, adding one more quote for good measure -- the president actually said this:

"I refuse to leave our children with a debt they cannot repay," he said in remarks opening the one-day summit at the White House. "We cannot and will not sustain deficits like these without end. ... We cannot simply spend as we please."

Of course, in 2009, he was just kicking in the propaganda stream to get his Obamacare into legislation, to become law.  His selling point then -- pledging to cut the 1.3 Trillion dollar deficit IN HALF! before the end of his FIRST term.   As the CNN post explains, "[Obama] identified exploding health-care costs as the chief culprit behind rising federal deficits..."

[But then! went on to create a brand new entitlement program -- one that is set to cripple the health care industry for life; one that forces the very essence and principles of the FREE MARKET to become fully extinguished by virtue of big government and the nanny state; all the while, stealing 710 BILLION dollars from Medicare to fund it and having the CBO re-calculate its total costs and finding out it will cost taxpayers three times as much -- at 2.7 TRILLION dollars!   For the full story, go here.]   ...reminding all of us to beware of fine print...and just maybe we should all beware the Ides of March...just sayin'

Today, we are still running  1.3 trillion dollar deficits; and instead of cutting the deficit in half, instead of adding 4 trillion dollars to our national debt over eight years (or 2 trillion in four), as his predecessor, OBAMA added SIX TRILLION in debt over his first four years (and is currently running on a trajectory to 22 trillion before he finishes his second term).

I guess we could say it's whole new world for President Obama in today's context.   Or, perhaps in the old world --  of 2006, 2008, 2009 -- he was just being a wee bit disingenuous with all of us (just a nice way to say, he fibbed and bamboozled his way into office and through the power of free choice, and American liberty, he got to stay there for four more years).

But make no mistake:   We chose a fraud and a liar in 2008; and no surprise, surprise, once again in 2012.

2016 awaits, but at this point, it surely can't come fast enough.

The thing is, we don't necessarily have to be led by a tyrant to experience tyranny;  while  history proves time and time again, ideology masquerading as progressive never equates to real progress.

So let's go back to something Rubio said:

"We fought for and held on to those things that made us exceptional. And because we did, there was still one place in the world where the individual was more important than the state. Because we did, there was still at least one place in the world where who you come from does not determine where you get to go."

And "it's all because of the choices that people that came before us made."

amen, Marco, amen.

Make it a GOOD Day, G

Epi-blogue

Speaking of progress --  reading headlines over the last couple of days makes me wonder what century we have dropped into:  Introducing Francis,  the first pope from the "New World."   wow.  Does the queen know about it yet?

And this one...leftover from yesterday, or the day before...believe it to be a combination of the pony express having sequester delays and me toiling in the back forty collecting beans, so forgive me if it's old news to you:  "Obama couldn't eat at Hill meeting without food taster."  alrighty then,  henry the eighth I am, I am.   If every Senator in the room was eating the lobster salad with blueberry pie  -- me thinks it was okay.  But what's with that, anyway?  LOBSTER?   The White House cancels WHITE HOUSE tours, cuts military tuition assistance (see here)  and all things that instantly make our skin crawl with disdain on just the pettiness factor alone, but LOBSTER?    Catered lunches, dinner's out, fresh flowers, private jets, should all be slashed -- at least in half, before the end of the day.

And yet NO WHITE HOUSE STAFF has been adversely affected by the sequester, as yet.  Can you just imagine having a 711 MILLION dollar annual budget for your company?  Think about it.  Dream about it until I see you again...

I can't wait to talk about our new pope!

Dear America,

so apparently, when we are being led by lawlessness, moral compromise, and complacency, we just follow now.

Like sheep, are we?   Is this just the new way of American governing, circa somewhere around the early nineteen hundred's when it all began, leading us into today, into the reckless spirit of living in denial, rebellion, sugar-coating and spin, feeding off of sex, lies and videotape -- and you think we're okay with that?

HOW -- tell me HOW -- in the world --  did we get to a place -- this place -- when introducing a 3.7 Trillion dollar budget, with revenues of merely 2.6 Trillion coming in, sounded pretty good? Oh, and with an incredible 14 Trillion dollar national debt on our back -- a.k.a. an insurmountable debt -- that even, with all the tea in China, can never be repaid.  C'mon!

Please, tell me this is all a bad dream; where's the pale of water, c'mon, quick, somebody slap me.

Only in America.

Did you hear that Billy Ray Cyrus would take it all back...all five years of Hannah Montana, being on the show, having his daughter make gazillions of dollars, making her a star -- he tells us now, he would trade it all in -- because the work of the devil basically, has ruined his life, family and everything that was ever important to him.(you can click to The Scoop if you need to read more)

In the Bible, we are reminded often of our free will; and with that, our inherent duty, to honor that free will with every essential element necessary to be of sound mind, firm understanding, purposeful knowledge, in keeping with a constant checks and balances of who we are, and all the ways available to us to be ever so mindful of things that stir around us, that may do us harm; to be our very best, in order to truly expand and grow our good, we must be vigilant in our commitment to be clear, watchful, careful as we go about our way in the real world.

"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.  But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed for past sins."
2 Peter 1:5-9

We are watching our representatives in government -- almost all of them -- make these horrific crimes against our natural inheritance and birthright...as we sit idly by...saying, oh that's nice, that's real nice, look at them working together, compromising and all.

Living high on the hog, living beyond our means -- being too proud, or selfishly and politically motivated, not to take the appropriate measures to change our course, even in the midst of total disaster -- is just humanity's way of answering to a deeper, broader, all the more encompassing problem, just plum ignoring our good conscience altogether; but clearly now, after all these years, just throwing more money at our issues doesn't seem to be cutting it, is it?  And kicking the can down the road, is remarkably hardly of conscionable thinking.

IF we are of the nature to face our worst fears...

A people's morality is so much more than what we choose to do when no one is watching -- it is what we do collectively, out in the wide open spaces; it is how we choose to govern; it is seen in the eyes of our children and how they treat their elders, let alone their friends.  It comes chock-full of loaded questions, divining the grace and peace and understanding upon whether we value life, or not; to live honestly and truthfully, or not; to recognize the value of our blessings, our family, our livelihood, our country, our faith -- or not.

Our moral compass guides us when making hard decisions, and when making easy slips of good judgment; our morality forces us to stop to ask ourselves, when faced with a moment of simple indecision or complicated indiscretion, is this the right thing to do?  We are never no further away from contemplating our own morality, than we are of taking our very next breath -- and that's not self-righteous, superiority complex, judgment speak at all;  it's just how we are made, as human beings; we are all given this gift, each and every one of us, and that makes it a beautiful thing.

A people's morality is there, ingrained into our being, even when in the midst of making the nation's 2012 budget -- a commitment of great price; and tagging along with it, let's just say a wide variety of unintended consequences of a certain pecuniary offense... amid other quite precarious dealings, behind closed doors of course, highly inappropriate to mention here...

If only, our leaders paid more attention to the little devils and angels sitting on their shoulders, no?

My god, could not all of this have been prevented if we asked a few simple questions, like,

-- "hmmmm, what do you think is gonna happen next year, when we have to pay this unfunded liability?
-- or hmmm, wonder what will happen when we push that button?
-- or hmmm, do you think this is what the people's mandate last November had in mind?
-- or hmmm, a hundred billion a year sounds like a lot of money to the little people, let's run with that and see how far we can go before they laugh us all the way to a rubber room?

This may come as a surprise, but our government DOES NOT MAKE MONEY!
The only way they make money is by TAKING our money -- borrowing money that they have no business printing in the first place, in the dead of night, only to cover up the immorality that has preceded them, or worse, was perpetrated by them -- and controlling the very assets that belong to US!  that's it.  that's all they have to play with -- and apparently, we let them now. bah baaah (that is sheep speak)

Turning a blind eye to the lack of sound judgment in our midst; paying no attention to the wizard behind the curtain; just letting them take us down in debauchery, mayhem, financial ruin, just piling up one lie up and over another.  Are we that stupid, or are they simply misguided in every way?

But here they are, our keepers, the morally corrupt, solvency sloven, lost within their own world reminding us of Bacchanalian times  -- go ahead, oh chosen ones, eat, drink and be merry -- celebrate a 1.1 Trillion dollar deficit for 2012, while ringing in the  current 1.6 trillion dollar days  -- go right ahead. we can wait.  we'll just sit back and watch things just play out for a bit.

We are watching, indeed; while some of us, will speak up and say enough is enough.

The thing is, we raised better children when the Department of Education was a crazy 12 Billion/year (around 1968).  Fact.  yup, as far as the eye can see, we've reached about the last of 'em.

And yet...

Here we are, watching the right and the left quibble this morning over a 3 Billion dollar fighter jet program, all while some are turning around on a dime proposing a 53 Billion dollar high speed rail going to nowhere.

Here we are, adding over 200,000 federal employee jobs over the last two years, when the private sector is experiencing 16% unemployment (adding a discretionary number to account for the UNDERemployed); oh, and just today, tying our national security to the unions -- no longer will airport management be allowed to bring in a private service -- gone, bye bye -- the TSA's will be unionized, supplying 18 million dollars in new  union dues, supporting the already community organizing,  labor loving, liberal, left wing agenda lobby -- having just accomplished, without so much as a hiccup, a surge of more troops to the front line leading into the 2012 elections.  Who's crazy now?

Here we are, with our very own New York Stock Exchange now completely taken over and owned by the Germans -- say what?

Here's a thought, how about we get Marco Rubio and Allen West to run together for top dogs in 2012?

Crazy, I know; what kind of experience do they really have -- none!  But these days, that is spreading the good news!  Desperate times call for desperate measures.

This country needs a shake up, to the core, with leaders who appear to have a spine, a moral code of honor, integrity, standing firm on the principles that made this country great; where are these people, and more important, how do we get them into the big house before we go down in ruin -- that's what I want to know today!

We don't have time for quibbling over millions of billions; those days are long gone.  We're of the age now, when we only wish we could say we would "take it all back" -- as in the candid interview, when everyone around you is thinking, you can't be serious dude.... with none other than Billy Ray "a day late and not a dollah' short" Cyrus -- but how stupid would that sound, right?

We can't take our wrongs back; we can't go back to the way things were and change our mind; it is done.

This is a time to move forward with everything we've got left -- which hopefully, is filled to the brim with a moral code to do something about it, to repent, to beg for forgiveness and understanding and grace; AND THEN, to build upon the principles we truly know will work, to win our future back, dismissing the pie in the sky rhetoric giving us only what the people want to hear; because don't look now, all you down on the funny farm, the sky is in fact falling.

This budget -- the one being adamantly and fundamentally and defiantly defended by our president since Monday -- is morally corrupt in every way; how can anyone, left, right and center, feel secure knowing that this president is okay with sending us further down the road in H - E - double toothpicks, projecting in his very own words, according to his no uncertain terms, a trajectory of trillion dollar deficits for each year over the next ten (oh while saving perhaps a hundred billion a year) -- oh, and reaching a national debt level beyond our most wretched imagination. are ya kidding me?

This isn't even as tasty as pig slop, how can anyone defend this as the answer to our fiscal mess?

Granted, the world and perhaps a few power elites, would love to take America down; but this isn't who we are, this isn't what we are about, and it certainly isn't anywhere close to the reality our founders intended  -- and I would bet my life, other people are feeling, if not reeling, the very same thing.

This may be another morning to play the Motor City commercial over and over and over again until we actually get it through our thick skulls; from the days of Iacocca to EMINEM, invoking that very same spirit of revival, its time to take Detroit back... Route 66 back... time to take back Boston, Kingman, and everything in between them, back!

The District of Columbia belongs solely to the people; we own it;  we sign their paychecks; we decide what we spend and when.

It only took about 90 days, but already, they are back in business featuring business as usual, and we've got no time for it whatsoever.

If I were president, I would fire myself!
and go ahead, call me crazy, make my day...

Why G?  Why are you so upset?  He's just trying to do the best he can --- Why would you say that about our president? He inherited the debt...

For the audacity to try to pull the wool over the eyes of a people who, apparently, by all countenances upon him, misguidedly thinks we are sheep; but little does he know, even sheep born in the USA know what's up, cuz it's wigging time.

And that goes for the whole lot of you, too....how this man, this administration, this congress, can get away with just taking everything we know and love in good, clean conscience, hidden behind moral compromises that shake our very foundation to the core, jeopardizing everything, and keep doing it!   is purely beyond my comprehension.

I am livid.

but hey, happy happy,
make it a good day, G!
