It's to the Provocateur in Question Thing

Dear America,

happy August.

it's been a
busy
adventurous
squirrelly
and, mostly happy, couple of weeks, close to a month, since my last post.
alas, here I am...having returned from Big Pine, the Bristlecone Pine Forest, Yosemite, and breathing in a giant sequoia named Grizzly.

here's an interesting bit of knowledge and perspective -- you know, given the latest climate on climate change at the hand of mankind....

"California's western Sierra Nevada had more frequent fires between 800 and 1300 than at any time in the past 3,000 years, according to a 2009 study based upon tree-ring research. Scientists reconstructed the history of fire during this droughty period by dating the years in which fire scars were found in ancient giant sequoia trees in the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park. The result: These 500 years, known as the Medieval Warm Period, had the most frequent fires in the 3,000 years studied. During this period extensive fires burned through parts of the Giant Forest at intervals of about 3 to 10 years. Any individual tree was probably in a fire about every 10 to 15 years."

what?
you mean all that happened, fires burning "more frequently" and at intervals of "3 to 10 years"  coming at the same time of what has been named  the "Medieval Warm Period"....a droughty period, with a long list of fire scars to prove it?  Fires happening MORE frequently than at any other time in the past 3000 years?

like, seriously?

How thought provoking.

and not to leave the Bristlecone Pine out of the conversation:
"This bristlecone pine chronology, developed here in the White Mountains by University of Arizona researchers and Dr. Henry Michael of the University of Pennsylvania is the longest in the world and provides an unequaled look into past climatic and environmental conditions. 
For many years now, scientists, archeologists, and historians have relied on a dating system known as radiocarbon dating. It was discovered back in the 1960s that this process was flawed and needed to be calibrated. The wood from bristlecone pines helped correct this process by providing samples that could be precisely dated. Scientists dated these samples by counting their growth rings; they then measured the amount of carbon-14 (C-14) in those same samples. They discovered that the radiocarbon dating process was providing dates that were "too young" and established a calibration factor to correct the dating process. 
Faulty C-14 data obtained before the bristlecone pine calibration was then re-examined and corrected. Archeologists found that some artifacts discovered in Europe were actually 1000 years or older than previously thought. This revision of archeological site dates led historians to a reinterpretation of cultural diffusion throughout the Mediterranean and European areas. Because the bristlecone pines of this grove provided the wood to recalibrate the radiocarbon dating method, they have become known as the trees that rewrote history."

And yet, more thought provoking things.

And before I go on, just as a matter of record, my thanks to the National Park Service and to the United States Department of Agriculture/Forest Service....for the quick links to this history and information.  If you are keeping track, the U.S. Department of Agriculture manages the US Forest Service which manages the National Park Service...can't help but notice that there are almost as many layers of management as there are rings in the trees in them parts; what else is new, right?

But check that out -- that bit about the Bristlecone getting the credit for re-calibrating the dating methods and being recognized as THE tree that "rewrote history."  I just love that; we humans don't know everything, even when we think we do.

Which brings me to a crazy, provocative new book I just started reading:  Sapiens -- A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari.

Here's something interesting, from only the second chapter  --

"Ever since the Cognitive Revolution, Sapiens have thus been living in a dual reality.  On the one hand, the objective reality of rivers, trees and lions; and on the other hand, the imagined reality of gods, nations and corporations.  As time went by, the imagined reality became ever more powerful, so that today the very survival of rivers, trees and lions depends on the grace of imagined entities such as the United States and Google."
try and tell that to the Bristlecone Pine, Yuval.

Wow, Yuval.  Thought provoking and hilarious. Can hardly wait til chapters nineteen and twenty. 

We get so full of ourselves sometimes (myself included).

No wonder Bill Gates is quoted on the front, while Barack Obama is quoted on the back.

Wait, don't walk, isn't that racist?  

And never you mind that in the first chapter, Yuval says this:  "Like it or not, we are members of a large and particularly noisy family called the great apes...Just six million years ago, a single female ape had two daughters.  One became the ancestor of all chimpanzees, the other is our own grandmother."  Moving forward with some modicum of caution, it might make sense to you that I had to take a break before venturing into the third chapter, when Yuval begins to examine the fictitious nature of Adam and Eve. oh joy to the world that will be...

The thing is, in this very moment, this girl is more captivated by the cover of the book -- all of a sudden, all I can do is gaze upon a single smudge of a thumb print, dotting the letter i of Sapiens...and given how this day all began, all I see is tree rings.

Yuval and the rings are making me dizzy.  so so dizzy in thought.

Yuval -- page 28 -- "Yet none of these things exist outside the stories that people invent and tell one another.  There are no gods in the universe, no nations, no money, no human rights, no laws, and no justice outside the common imagination of human beings."

Wow.  How so very absolute of him,  there are no gods in the universe, the little man said.

As if, Yuval.
How in tarnation do YOU really know that?

Like for real; how can this guy speak as if God is absolutely, without a doubt, totally fiction,  simply myth created by man to control man.  Sure, on one level I understand where he is coming from --  he's this  somewhat cynical, learned man questioning culture, questioning the little sheep following the Shepherd, questioning the very foundation of everything we believe, lambasting our ignorance and in proper turn, the unprecedented destruction upon the earth, of both resources and our fellow man.  We get it.

and on another level, something tells me that all of this is just part of the plan, and prophesied thousands of years ago, too.

Thing is, I question anyone who speaks in terms of proclaiming there is NO GOD unless imagined in our own small minds.

Oh, and yes, I will tell you what Obama said, quoting the quote from the back cover verbatim:

"Interesting and provocative...It gives you a sense of perspective on how briefly we've been on this earth, how short things like agriculture and science have been around, and why it makes sense for us to not take them for granted."

very nice Barack.  I love the use of the  dot dot dot; it gives us the sense that quite possibly more was said, and yet, I believe there wasn't.   It's an endearing flashback to that long pause, and that occasional stutter, as you reached out into the air to pluck each and every word off the tree like an apple.  It's stylistic,  smart -- allowing the reader to get a sense of just how deeply you think about things, because you do; because you care so much; because we've been brainwashed to believe you are really really super intelligent, the smartest president we've ever had. 

Just one more way this book reminds me just how much this world is run by narcissistic, haughty, intellectuals who just want to control the entire universe already; because they, truly, know what's best for all of us lame humanoids.

but my question is -- what is Barack talking about?  Who takes our science and agriculture for granted these days?   when all we really do is analyze how we Sapiens can be better caretakers of this world? 

Isn't it better, Yuval, that we Sapiens are not still running around being hunters and gatherers, or even all farmers and herders?  Looking at it logically, especially from a logistical standpoint, there just isn't enough real estate on God's great earth for all of us to farm and herd and hunt and gather our days away.

And what is with the inability to embrace human advancement, in areas of science and industry?  Since when did the evolution of humankind become such a dirty topic?  I sure as heck don't want to be living back in the dark ages, or even two hundred years ago!   I might go as far back as the early 1900's, just to take part in the suffragette movement --  and of course wear those clothes -- there is that.  But really, I kinda like where I am, I am.

I guess in some ways, this girl is looking forward to reading more about the history of Sapiens through the looking glass of a guy with a PhD from the University of Oxford -- even if it kills me.  Which it won't; just being a wee bit dramatic.  (Yuval started it.)

Ahhh looking back, I talked to a few trees in my journey of the last few weeks; and it was good.

TO smell them
TO touch them
To gaze all the way up and down their magnificent stature, and to hear the rustling of the leaves and needles, all under the backdrop of a glorious, big blue sky...God Is.  Indeed God Is.

Everything begins in thought.

We create and we destroy with first a thought to create or to destroy. (Which also supports the argument that it's not about more gun control; SAPIENS, very bad sapiens, are to blame, but I digress.)

Humankind is made in God's image because God made it so.

Even the Universe was created with a thought, a thought to create a universe.
And all the while, the Big Bang Theory is NOT settled science. Why?  Because NOBODY on this planet knows everything.

And the funny thing is, no PhD is needed to question the day's provocateur, Yuval.
And isn't that a good thing.

It's a B to the G fit to a T Thing

Dear America,

so yesterday, my DAR chapter celebrated its final meeting until the fall; for all intents and purposes, we go dark just when the sun is shining its brightest.  

to honor the last meeting, the intention was to invite someone who would simply inspire us to keep up the good fight, to remind us of who we are and what we do, and send us on our way --  as we all go our separate ways -- with the same kind of spirit and enthusiasm as the year began.   Our speaker was lined up months in advance -- because she is just that special.

Who knew, that from the time we booked her in early January,  that it would cap off such an emotional year, a springtime entrenched in melancholy and loss of one of our own, one of our very best, one of our very brightest.  It was as if the sun, itself, went down, and out, for good.

The chapter was awfully thirsty by the time Chaplain LaToya Zavala LT. USN, made her appearance.

....we didn't even realize how parched.

and what comes to mind when we hear the word parched...
perhaps arid, scorched, withered, and dry -- yes, dry as dust --  a desert comes to mind...yes, yes, lost in the desert.  Thirsty, so so thirsty.

About a month out, she asked of what kind of presentation we were looking for, and we exchanged emails to that end and I forgot all about it.  But lo and behold, just how did she open her remarks on the day?  Poking a little fun at the tall order -- and hearing her tell it, continues to make me giggle still twenty four hours later. For I had asked her to speak of the DAR motto, to motivate the troops after such a blistering spring, and springboard us into summer with enough fire in our bellies to come back in October with bells on and ringing mightily...all in fifteen minutes, LaToya would add.   yeah, yeah, that was the funny part.

And, have to admit, it was all true.  I asked her to move mountains, to bring us out of the desert -- to bring a presentation like no other presentation that's come before, and complete the mission in fifteen minutes.  

And guess what?

SHE DID!

In real life, LaToya personifies the NSDAR motto to a T.

GOD:  By trade, she is a chaplain -- BA in Pastoral Theology, with a minor in Biblical Languages, and Master of Divinity, with post-graduate work in Clinical Pastoral Education...and, after joining the Navy, with tours of duty around the world, she is currently stationed at Camp Pendleton, serving the pastoral needs of our fine marines.   They are so lucky to have her loving council everyday.


HOME:  Per her bio, Chaplain LaToya is happily married and mother of two, while on the cusp of receiving an adoption, thereby expanding her home and family to the power of five, or maybe six (considering they are open to receiving siblings).  And what a joy it must be to have LaToya as a mother, that's all I have to say.  Scratch that.  It's not all -- for this woman radiates pure divinity and grace, all the while keeping at the ready a certain boldness, strength, and command; and this is precisely what it takes to do the good works of motherhood, if you intend to do it well.

COUNTRY:  This speaks for itself; there is a clear love of country when you are willing to give your  own life in its security and protection.  She is so bold in this arena of defending our nation, this country, she swore to the following oath: 
"I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the _____ (Military Branch) of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God."
so help me GOD. indeed indeed.

LaToya IS  God, IS Home, IS Country, all wrapped up in a beautiful, joyful, compassionate and passionate, package.

Our chapter was so blessed to have her for a day.

LaToya moved us from the start, declaring just how much our culture has marginalized our relationship with God, placing this relationship with our Creator, generally speaking, firmly into something less-than, parched by the ever-increasing secular dominance of toning down our faith as a way of co-existing.   It's as if we carelessly say, oh It's around, this God, but essentially, we can't abide by the commandments of our faith when it comes to the day to day.  And above all, we have to be quiet about It.

It's as if, culturally, we are allowed to recognize God, but not really; God is just up there, in the heavens somewhere away from here.  But maybe we shouldn't even be so bold as to say that.  Perhaps, we must tone it down even a wee bit more, and refer to this thing, this so-called feeling of  God, as merely something divine that may, or may not be, high above, that may, or may not, lead us; and just maybe we give this something the glory only when we feel like it.

OH and she is so right.

From my Jesus Calling, just this morning:  

"Relax in My Healing, holy Presence.  Be still while I transform your heart and mind... Do not be like the Pharisees who multiplied regulations, creating their own form of  'godliness.'  They got so wrapped up in their own rules that they lost sight of Me.  Even today, man-made rules about how to live the Christian life enslave many people.  Their focus is on their performance, rather than on Me.  It is through knowing Me intimately that you become like Me.  This requires spending time alone with Me.  Let go, relax, be still, and know that I am God."

LaToya -- the one who fits the DAR motto to a T -- hit this very reality of a certain cultural conformity to a watered down version of our faith in God, with a capital G, to a capital T, and then some.

Within the first five -- of the paltry fifteen minutes I gave her -- we found ourselves screaming shouts of joy and thanksgiving to our faith, to our God.  And it was good, so GOOD.

From one of my favorite books, Real Christianity, by William Wilberforce -- 

"To place the glory of anything over the glory of God is idolatry...Whatever draws our heart from Him, engrosses our minds or holds the number one spot in our affection is an idol.  Only God is to be the object of our supreme worship...
At the risk of repeating myself, let me point out the false thinking that exists about the nature of authentic faith.  True faith is something that so pervades our lives that it affects everything we do.  It is a matter of the heart, where its reality becomes our supreme influence.  It seeks to root out anything that is contrary to its truth and attempts to bring all the heart's desires and affections under control."
The Pharisees got so wrapped up in their own rules that they lost sight of Me...

We were a thirsty bunch, indeed. 

The thing is:  It took someone completely outside our bubble to wake us, enliven our spirits once more, and remind us of the good we do and from where it all comes.  With a splash of  water here, and a splash of water there, suddenly a room once brimming with weary faces, came alive again simply by being within earshot of a gentle fountain of faith, trickling up with the fundamentals and the ideals back behind our motto, carrying on with nothing short of exuberance while flashing a smile a mile wide. 

And considering our group is more amenable to these ideals in the first place --  as in, she was preaching to the choir -- it just goes to show that even the best of us need fresh sustenance, a daily dose of manna for the road ahead.

If it's not us declaring to God be the Glory, then what gives us any hope for any kind of future?

Our nation's own history proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that we, as a people, were so full of faith, that we declared it everywhere!   We gave God the glory on buildings, like court houses and municipalities; we gave God the glory in schools, allowing time set aside for personal prayers; we gave God the glory, and printed, as such, on our money, ensuring that God received the credit for our abundance and every good thing, as we exchanged money for goods and services.

Just look at what is happening now -- freedom from religion has usurped the value and security of the greatest, fundamental freedom, the greatest ideal, for which America stands. This freedom from religion nonsense claims "to promote nontheism and defend the constitutional separation between religion and government...."   When what they really want to do is dismantle our very foundation of God, Home and Country, from which America was made...albeit naturally, organically, and with bold reverence!

So are we to believe, that for a country founded on religious freedom, a separation from the Church of England controlling our lives, by taxation and otherwise, we are to cease being mindful of, and exercising, our true faith in God?  That we can only be religious at night, behind closed doors, or better still, in the dark?

When, the fact remains -- if in reference to a people of authentic faith -- there is to be no separation from this God in our daily life; what becomes unconstitutional, then,  is the masking of our faith, the hiding in the shadows of our faith.   Just what do you think will happen, once this butchery of our history,  our beliefs, our founding principles, takes hold without regret?  [Just for the record, all self-righteousness set aside, we are seeing it with our own eyes as we speak.]

God!
Home!
Country!

Truth is, "[W]hen the cement that has held a nation together no longer exists, the state soon dissolves into anarchy."  just another little something from Real Christianity...


God MUST come first, for this relationship is not only the most important, it gives us the foundation, the strength, the stillness, the peace, the home and country -- fit to make our way in the every day, every moment of the day, whether called to the needs of home or country.  

God centers us, and fills us, overflowing,  with everything we need, fit to meet every hope, every dream, every need -- every everyday concern for goodness sake --  with bells on, and ringing mightily, madly, deeply.

For God so loved the world; for God IS the Creator of all the world, of all things, seen and unseen.

It is Sunday.  And it is a good. 

And my heart is full -- thanks to the reservoir of this clay jar -- me -- being filled to the brim through positive words of encouragement based in faith in God.  So, to LaToya, my muse, goes my gratitude. 

But even LaToya would surely agree, that it is To God -- Savior, King of Kings, Jehovah, Creator of ALL Things, fit to a T with a capital G --  Be the Glory, Forever and Forever.  amen.

It's in the pursuit of one thousand days Thing

Dear America,

Happiness
   
Happiness is the realisation 
of God in the heart.  
Happiness is the result 
of praise and thanksgiving, 
of faith, of acceptance; 
a quiet, tranquil realisation
 of the love of God.  
This brings to the soul 
perfect and indescribable happiness.  
God is happiness.

this morning begins with a quote from the last page of The Quiet Mind.

Happy Mother's Day

Being excited about the day itself -- reaching the pinnacle of one thousand blogs -- my deliriously happy heart went to bed marinating on this very thought...and was just hoping that the morning would find me in the very same place.   And it did.

and just as the universe works, in the natural -- while in my corner, in the company of my coffee and that strapping and ever faithful eucalyptus tree of mine -- I summoned my little book of days, the clever collection of questions, Q & A a Day.  Lo and behold, the question this morning was "What are you exploring?"  to which I happened to have replied, without skipping a beat: "Happiness in all forms."

It didn't occur to me, until the moment I sat at my desk, just how much impact the Happiness quote -- the one laid to rest in my mind the night before --  had made on my psyche.  But there it was, in pretty pink ink swirled across the page...the exploration of happiness front and center, as if coming from the wisdom of the heavens.

Happiness -- that thing in which I give this very day -- means something different in all of us.

The thing is -- all I can do is wonder, just why our founders spelled it out, just so specifically, almost categorically...

"We hold these truths 
to be self-evident, 
that all men are created equal, 
that they are endowed by their Creator 
with certain unalienable Rights,
 that among these are, 
Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."

indeed --  endowed by their Creator

For it was, in fact, Nature's Law,
and Nature's God --
when in the course of human events -- 
that gave them license, the empowerment, to separate from the British Crown in the first place.

Happiness is capitalized, as if of principal importance.

And yet, as we've noted probably a thousand times before, this Happiness is neither guaranteed nor promised by way of this declaration, or by way of one's Life, or even one's Liberty -- it is the explicit fruit of one's pursuit.

The brilliance of this seems almost too impossible to put into words, really.

But, really, why did they even mention this Happiness at all?

What did they mean by it?

And given our opening quotation from White Eagle -- was this kind of Happiness echoing the same kind of Happiness as our founders, or vice versa?

With regard to this pursuit of Happiness, could the answer be so simple:  Happiness is the result of praise and thanksgiving, of faith, of acceptance; a quiet, tranquil realisation of the love of God. 

maybe...

Our founders' wisdom came from all points of Light, of Life, of History, of Civilization, of Religion, of Government.  That was the beauty of it.  America's very presence in the world came from the world itself, as if it were an act of God.  We were birthed into existence, with significance, for a reason, from men of reason and enlightenment of the ages.

Our founders recognized the dismal life, a life under the control of the Church of England, the British Crown.  And we, the people, were over it already.

So to how to phrase this mighty fight against the Brits, in a way that makes the common man want to jump in, risking life and limb and whatever liberty they were presently enjoying...and bear arms until the war was won.

Hey, guys, any of you wish to find any Happiness in Life, like, ever?  Anyone?

oh this thing called Happiness...
what a powerful force it is.

In some ways, there may be a pretty good argument on behalf of this pursuit thereof, getting the best of us these days.  am I right?  This thing called Happiness carries the power to destroy many a civilizations over the ages.  there is that.

there's even a Facebook page in its honor:  Happiness Is.


And not to be a debbie-downer, but perhaps we should all be a little more mindful when it comes to pursuing our Happiness, no?

so leading me into the end of this day, and to follow along on a theme of the last couple days, I must say that I am slowly discovering just how simple I am these days, when it comes to things that make me happy...

happiness is a hot bath with a spot of whisky on a Sunday afternoon

happiness is a jelly donut brought to me just this morning on what might as well have been a silver platter

happiness is giving back to the community, with my time, and attention, and through the amazing works of the Daughters of the American Revolution

happiness is having a beautiful relationship with both my mom and my girl, celebrating the uniqueness of our generations, personalities, and family ties, completely and unwavering

happiness is the wealth of manhood that surrounds me -- from my own father, to my man xx, to his boys -- and the sense of earthy security they give me, deep in my heart and soul; so much so, that I easily burst into tears at the very realisation of how lucky one girl can be.  like, right now.

happiness is being an American girl
happiness is writing this Day in the Life of an American Girl

but the highest of all Happiness-es is the knowing, the realisation,  from where it all comes.

This girl is a child of the Most High God, and from here all blessings and Happiness flow.

It's a Small World Thing

Dear America,

"I am the Creator of Heaven and Earth: Lord of all that is and that will ever be.  Although I am unimaginably vast, I choose to dwell with you, permeating you with My Presence.  Only in the spirit realm could Someone so infinitely great live within someone so small.  Be awed by the Power and Glory of My Spirit within you!"  Sarah Young, speaking to us, as Jesus, in Jesus Calling

to be clear, this excerpt is actually the beginning words from a devotion set up for tomorrow -- October 4th; it was simply on the opposite side of the page today, and, having caught my eye, it seems to offer more of what I needed to hear.  So, be it impatience, or be it the feeling of total loss that has settled into my heart after the tragedy in Las Vegas Sunday night -- I couldn't wait for tomorrow to come to read its entirety.

for i feel so small.

"I thought in my heart,

God will bring to judgement 
both the righteous 
and the wicked,
 for there will be a time 
for every activity, 
a time for every deed."
Ecclesiastes 3: 17
This book of the Bible is speculated 
as to have been written 
by King Solomon


If it is true -- Solomon being the author -- he is deserving of praise for such work, penning wisdom and folly, framing humility and vanity, with such grace, and just so beautifully (no matter how harsh the message).

Clearly, his offerings in prose and poem, verse after verse, were designed to praise and worship God above all other things, and written as a guide to humanity --  for all the generations of people to come.

"Better a poor 
but wise youth 
than an old but foolish king 
who no longer knows 
how to take warning."  
Ecclesiastes 4:13

Sensing that Solomon was feeling his smallness, too, in no small way, throughout the book of Ecclesiastes; as he continued to plead to all at liberty to hear his words, "Stand in Awe of God...."

It is precisely this awesomeness of God, that feels so very far, far away, from our feeble, little spirits, considering the level of devastation and loss of life at the hands of one evil man.

Free will can cut so deep.

"Wisdom, like an inheritance, 
is a good thing 
and benefits those who see the sun.  
Wisdom is shelter, 
as money is a shelter, 
but the advantage 
of knowledge is this:  
that wisdom preserves 
the life of its possessor."  
Ecclesiastes 7:11-12

We don't need more gun control, when, in fact, a gun just sits still until the moment the trigger is pulled.

More of mankind choosing to do the right thing, is more of what we need. [And we already have plenty of Law giving rise and precedence to that!]

Re: the politicization of this day:   The day we can legislate morality will be the day pigs fly.

We need less evil --  and more good -- operating freely, independently, fully armed in both spirit and upstanding good character, perhaps with a gun in the holster or that cross-body kate spade purse, in pink.

Now this guy, in Vegas, planned this massacre against innocents for days, weeks, months, having re-calibrated his stash of weaponry to operate as heavy duty automatic machine guns, emphasizing his intent to kill as many people as he possibly could; while sending large sums of money off-shore to the Philippines, and more than likely, revealing to his girlfriend the knowledge that something evil, or just not good, was about to go down and adding an additional level of pre-meditation (if not also, and horrifically, directly connecting her to the knowledge of all of it!  Thereby making her actions fully culpable of a charge.).

This guy, who I will not name, nor link to a page elsewhere on the web, pre-calculated that he would not come out of this alive.

So, this day....

This day in the life of an American girl, will not be a long one.

This day will remain small, in equal proportion to the limits of our understanding; the smallness of our humanity is revealed once more, merely pointing us in the direction of the Only One Who Knows Everything, once more, if we so choose.

It is this Spirit -- this Awesome Spirit -- that dwells in us, and brings us calm in a storm man-made by a mad man.  

It's a small world that we live in and have our being, divine our work, and fill our hearts and souls and our days with the things that matter.  

The thing is -- with regard to this belief, this faith, in this Awesome Spirit -- this is the only way, as human beings, to come out of this experience on earth truly alive!  Our bodies are meaningless, in accordance to what lies ahead in heaven, in accordance to the Greater Law, the Word of God, accompanying us in the every day with It's Presence.

Be awed

It's Just a Start to an Era of Another Kind of Creation Thing

There is strength in taking command of what we think about, for it is proven, that what we think about expands.

Such is the explanation of creation itself -- for creation began with GOD having one thought, and then another, and then another, and so on, and so on, and now here we are.   Boom.  

And as we enter this new age of what might be best described, as a return to an age of TO GOD be the GLORY -- given the witness of President Donald John Trump's Inauguration, when he said "and, most importantly, we are protected by God!" -- let us then give thanks and praise. 

[This is hilarious, I asked google for "inauguration most prayers" and got, "Did you mean: inauguration has most players?"  I kid you not.  And realizing that the number of prayers -- 6 -- has already made big news, the confusion of google is shameful, and yet, unnecessarily not hard to explain, given it's widely recognized, company-wide bias....And what a Freudian slip, eh, given the number of players really in the audience, right?   But let's not digress.  Let's just get a good giggle and move on, shall we?]

And yet again!    As the search to find a good link to the transcript of Trump's speech was corrupted right from the start.  Typing in "Trump inauguration speech" --- google immediately pulls up the leftist views and copy, beginning with CNN, an outfit we might as well consider counterfeit, considering it was just caught publicizing fake news,..even Chuck Todd thought so.  Then, it quickly deteriorates into a string of leftist commentary, along with anyone else who articulated a disparaging thought  (like, George Will).   [So, this old  G Thing just added "Fox News" and took control of it all, navigating the riff-raff takes great skill, doncha know; ask what a leftist would do, and do the opposite. tee hee.  Can a girl get an amen?]

And sure, Trump goes low -- based on reality -- before he goes high, and stays there...

Trump:  
"But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system, flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.

to which he responds...

Just love that part, of sharing "one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny."

Now, is this president going to be the most eloquent of prezzies we've ever had?  Ah, no.  That award would probably be a tie between George Washington and Ronald Reagan -- with an honorable mention quite possibly to Barack Hussein Obama.  However, it must be said, Barack forfeits the award upon his own undoing, for he didn't really mean a word he said, nor did he ever wish to recognize -- let alone grant his full allegiance -- to the true foundations this country was made. Obama was all talk; while his actions were all criminal when it comes to protecting the republic, the United States of America.  And that is just the truth.

Of course, to highlight the inauguration also comes with a few low-lights; that being, the protesters on the day of, as well as, the women's march, celebrated the day after....ugh.

Here's a thought -- I don't seem to recall the right behaving badly when Obama was inaugurated.  Anyone? Anyone remember the right protesting on the streets of D.C. on either one of the inaugurations, complete with setting limos on fire and throwing harmful objects at the police?

You know what I miss; I miss Madonna just making beautiful music for a living.  Of course, it's her old stuff this girl really clings to, so feel free to slap me; while, if being honest, when she was following Kabbalah, it might even be said that she had seen the light, cleaning up her act just a wee bit; assuming, after spending a fair amount of energy searching and finding a spiritual life force deep down inside her. Her Ray of Light album, for starters, surely a testimonial.

But if we were to string along her history, her HERstory, really -- we might actually be not so surprised to see that provocative motivations and glittering sparks of sexual, objectifying, raunchy, and clearly a penchant for exhibiting rather highly unladylike behavior, (even with Rocco, her son, on stage) made Madonna who she is, made her a star, and continues to rule her career house to this day.  

She has made hundreds of millions of dollars off of making herself a sex symbol, if not actually participating in making a mockery of humanity's relationship with sexuality and our connection to creation itself, no matter how rooted in feminists wiles she claims to be, thus, any and all credibility is lost.   And how the organizers of this march thought Madonna would strike just the right chord, is crazy stupid.  And you can quote me on that.

Don't you just love how she begins with this "revolution of love" theme, while spitting out f-bombs and telling the crowd she "thought an awful lot of blowing up the White House."  Really?  I watched you, Madonna, and a scene of "a whole 'lot of love" would not be the first thing to come to mind. 

Beginning with militant outrage, and threatening harm to the people's house -- while basically dismissing the entire half of America (including women) who voted for Trump -- tells me there is no brotherly love in the conversation to speak of, when it comes to your approach.   

This is love?    This is how you choose love?  
...Just after you bitch slap your detractors, calling out a big "...fuck you.  fuck you...."   Even if I were to say "fuck you" back, where would that get us?  How is this the right place you want to start?

Let me know when you want me to take you seriously, k.  I mean, seriously.

I am a nasty woman. I'm as nasty as a man who looks like he bathes in Cheetos dust. A man whose words are a distract to America. Electoral college-sanctioned, hate-speech contaminating this national anthem. I'm not as nasty as Confederate flags being tattooed across my city. Maybe the South actually is going to rise again. Maybe for some it never really fell. Blacks are still in shackles and graves, just for being black. Slavery has been reinterpreted as the prison system in front of people who see melanin as animal skin. I am not as nasty as a swastika painted on a pride flag, and I didn't know devils could be resurrected but I feel Hitler in these streets. A mustache traded for a toupee. Nazis renamed the Cabinet Electoral Conversion Therapy, the new gas chambers shaming the gay out of America, turning rainbows into suicide. I am not as nasty as racism, fraud, conflict of interest, homophobia, sexual assault, transphobia, white supremacy, misogyny, ignorance, white privilege ... your daughter being your favorite sex symbol, like your wet dreams infused with your own genes. Yeah, I'm a nasty woman — a loud, vulgar, proud woman.
I am not nasty like the combo of Trump and Pence being served up to me in my voting booths. I'm nasty like the battles my grandmothers fought to get me into that voting booth. I'm nasty like the fight for wage equality. Scarlett Johansson, why were the female actors paid less than half of what the male actors earned last year. See, even when we do go into higher paying jobs our wages are still cut with blades sharpened by testosterone. Why is the work of a black woman and a hispanic woman worth only 63 and 54 cents of a white man's privileged daughter? This is not a feminist myth. This is inequality. So we are not here to be debunked. We are here to be respected. We are here to be nasty.
I am nasty like my bloodstains on my bed sheets. We don't actually choose if and when to have our periods. Believe me if we could some of us would. We do not like throwing away our favorite pairs of underpants. Tell me, why are pads and tampons still taxed when Viagra and Rogaine are not? Is your erection really more than protecting the sacred messy part of my womanhood? Is the bloodstain on my jeans more embarrassing than the thinning of your hair?
I know it is hard to look at your own entitlement and privilege. You may be afraid of the truth. I am unafraid to be honest. It may sound petty bringing up a few extra cents. It adds up to the pile of change I have yet to see in my country. I can't see. My eyes are too busy praying to my feet hoping you don't mistake eye contact for wanting physical contact. Half my life I have been zipping up my smile hoping you don't think I want to unzip your jeans. I am unafraid to be nasty because I am nasty like Susan, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Amelia, Rosa, Gloria, Condoleezza, Sonia, Malala, Michelle, Hillary!

Question is, would the Nina Donovan's and Ashley Judd's and Madonna's of this world, consider ME, G, another breed of nasty woman worthy of their respect, even while I beg to argue with nearly every cotton-pickin', narrow-minded, ideology driven and fully buried into the ground, diary of a leftist wet-dream, they love to sow....while sorely clinging to history, rather than, joining in unity, with the forces and energies now un-tethered, released in the spirit to create something good, a better future, a destiny unimaginable to the naked eye, for ALL Americans?

To the creators of THIS REBELLION afoot, don't take my power away, I AM WOMAN TOO...how dare you try to corner the market on this marginalization effect.  Speaking from my experience, being a conservative, Christian, pro-life kinda girl -- I AM vilified every single day in America; it's like having three strikes against me from the moment my little toes hit the floor. and yet, look at me go.  Add white girl to it, and we've got ourselves a hat trick.  Oh Hear me roar.  I AM so tired of weenies.

Indeed, it is just part of the equation for each and every one of us in this great land is your land, too --where the pursuit of happiness is ours for the making, where to speak our peace is ours for the taking, where to live in a land where you are not locked up for just the freedom and liberty to say just so, is ours for the hating....For in AMERICA, even in our unity we are not all the same.

What can I say, this is turning into a long day, a loooooooooong blooooooooooooog day-- this is what we get for being a little pent up, right Madonna? Right Nina?  Right Ashley?   A girl has to spew when a girl has to spew, and may that be a lesson to you, oh nasty woman frenemies of mine.   love you.   mean it.

think it was Brit Hume who said it best on Friday; he said, generalizing, that Obama's legacy could be narrowed down to two words...."Donald Trump."   For it was Obama's actions, direct and indirect, seen and unseen, that ultimately created his legacy -- a legacy now up in smoke; in the end, when all is said and done, it was Obama's leadership that led America to this.....the opening of a very special door, the White House, to a Donald J. Trump Administration.  oh yes we can and yes he did.

Obama had his chance and is now history.  The future is ours for the making all over again, let us give thanks and praise; for in reality,  it is In God We Trust.  The more we step aside, the more Divine Providence comes about to do its thing for the common good, the common man, woman and child.  

Oh yippie ki yay.

It's With a Certain Hand-picked Emphasis Added Thing

Dear America,

so, on a good day -- being a girl of faith --
this somewhat nerve-wracking, accidental sequence of events -- as if the country is simply stringing it along coincidence after coincidence -- is, for all intents and purposes, just a part of the plan.

And it's like, oh, wonderful -- we can all be rest assured; God's got this.  No need to fret.

Oh but what to do with myself.

The foundation is shaking, my mind is trembling, my spirit seems broken.

Here I am, now reaching for my White Eagle handbook,  as I naturally search -- as in, to seek and to find exactly what this moment merits:

GOD WILL NOT FAIL YOU
When in doubt, do nothing.  
Be still, have patience and wait.  
Learn to be still, my children, 
to be calm and still and wait for God; 
God will not fail you."

Which suddenly brings to mind something from Sunday...Joel Osteen's message.  Osteen was like, notice how we don't have to teach our children impatience, how to throw tantrums, to give in to the rather organic, carnal nature bubbling up from the depths of our soul.  It just comes up and out, no holds barred.  Boom. 

 I'm three and I want              now.

From three, we eventually make it to kindergarten, get past grade school and if we are lucky, continue to grow and expand our horizons and develop a hard earned character that obviously makes us better humans.  It takes awhile; for some, it may even take a lifetime; for others, it may never come.

But the thing is, nobody had to show us how to be at our worst; that part of ourselves seems to come about naturally, without thinking, and certainly without thinking like God.

And when we individually, then collectively, begin to show this side of ourselves, having clearly drifted far, far away from the things that Divine Providence divined in us, how in the world can any one of us be surprised when it comes to the results?

Coincidences collide.  Consequences arrive right on cue.   

And next thing you know, it's the end of the story.  End of an era.  The end times come marching in with aplomb -- and don't look now, but look at how that ego of ours just eats it up... madly, deeply, unapologetic-ally, and without ceasing.

Yes.
Indeed.
Perhaps I am being a wee bit too melodramatic.

Now recently, my good fortune allowed for me to break for spring with my girl, home from school.  It was, coincidentally, perfect timing; for this girl, yours truly, was well on her way to committing some kind of high crime or misdemeanor, for sure, given the state of absurdity in this republican primary.  Let's just say, my patience was not wearing thin, it was gone.  The forced pause from my world ultimately gave way to being fully unplugged for over a week!  And what a God-send! Who knew?  (tee hee)

[There are no accidents.]

But there are plenty of ironies right about now...

Take for example how some of The Right have taken to Trump just as some of The Left flocked behind Obama back in the day; it's like, what weaknesses, right?    What do you mean, suspect associations?   What do you mean, narcissistic tendencies, with a penchant for throwing tantrums, name calling, and acting like he is twelve?  So we solve this problem masterminded by the political elitists by electing a populist elitist who has more money than God? Really; God doesn't need cash or credit, bullion or billions.

The biggest question that seems to continually make my head spin seems to stem from the position of character:  is this really the best we've got?   There are three hundred million of us and whether considering what's on the left or right --  this is it?   A Leftist/Socialist or some kind of right wing composite developed in a high rise in New York City like a picante sauce?  

And make no mistake, a quick study of the followers arrives at very much the same place, more or less.

Desperation made this.


House of Cards aside, Hollywood couldn't put this scenario together any better if they tried.  The conditions, the bureaucracy, the corruption, the wanton Congress, the usurpation of the law, the absence of our sovereign border protecting the very security of the nation, the demolition  of our military, the liberal re-write of our history and traditions, the growth of Washington's power grab - no matter which party is in charge, created THIS -- this natural escalation by tantrum.  Look for the perfume to come out soon...

It's not like we needed a lesson; it just happened...organically...

and continuing to repeat myself like a good politician....

On a good day, all of this might even feel like God has a plan, that God is still in charge.  That this tantrum is essential, part and parcel of things to come in order to rebuild and reform America -- an America so lost and all alone these days.  And then again, from the perspective of a rather warped world -- who needs any more of the Divine when we've got Trump? right?  

And sadly, it's not like any other possibilities are jumping up and down in tandem.

UGH.  It's so easy to feel overwhelmed.

My senses feel nothing but loss, a great sense of shame, as I struggle to take note and keep a diary of this day in the life of this American girl.  It's all a gosh darned shame thing.

The thing is, human nature is so easily ruled by our feelings; and people in power know this.  And when we can be swayed by how we feel, we not only limit ourselves, we create the future from a position of feeling depressed and oppressed at the same time.

Oh, the art of persuasion and the allure of temptation reigns high. Hmmmmm take a pill or do the work and walk off the extra weight all by myself?  America has been stuck on the quick fix for ages; we are constantly looking outside of ourselves for all the answers.

The manipulation -- whether it's from inside the Trump campaign, or the media, or the other campaigns fighting to stay alive -- is propaganda, at best.  And to be perfectly fair and forthright -- it's just the way the game is played.  This is politics.  And like Churchill once said, "when going through hell, keep going."

As God smiles down upon us and says something like...all of the answers come from within, my child.

So to end THIS day on the old G thing,
here's something GOOD from Marco Rubio, from last night, as he bowed out of the race with the grace of God:

.....That we find ourselves at this point is not surprising, for the warning signs have been here for close to a decade. In 2010, the tea party wave carried me and others into office because not enough was happening and that tea party wave gave Republicans a majority in the House, but nothing changed. In 2014, those same voters gave Republicans a majority in the Senate and, still, nothing changed. And I blame some of that on the conservative movement, a movement that is supposed to be about our principles and our ideas. But I blame most of it on our political establishment.
A political establishment that for far too long has looked down at conservatives, looked down at conservatives, as simple-minded people. Looked down at conservatives as simply bomb-throwers. A political establishment that for far too long has taken the votes of conservatives for granted, and a political establishment that has grown to confuse cronyism for capitalism, and big business for free enterprise. I endeavored over the last 11 months to bridge this divide within our party and within our country because I know that after eight years of Barack Obama this nation needs a vibrant and growing conservative movement and it needs a strong Republican Party to change the direction now of this country or many of the things that are going wrong in America will become permanent, and many of the things makes us a special country will be gone. America needs a vibrant conservative movement, but one that’s built on principles and ideas, not on fear, not on anger, not on preying on people’s frustrations.
A conservative movement that believes in the principles of our Constitution, that protects our rights and limits the power of government. A conservative movement committed to the cause of free enterprise, the only economic model where everyone can climb without anyone falling. A conservative movement that believes in a strong national defense and a conservative movement that believes in the strong Judeo-Christian values that are the formation of our nation...

...But after tonight it is clear that while we are on the right side, this year, we will not be on the winning side. I take great comfort in the ancient words which teaches us that in their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. And so yet, while this may not have been the year for a hopeful and optimistic message about our future, I still remain hopeful and optimistic about America...
...I ask the American people: Do not give in to the fear. Do not give in to the frustration. We can disagree about public policy, we can disagree about it vibrantly, passionately. But we are a hopeful people, and we have every right to be hopeful. For we in this nation are the descendants of go-getters. In our veins runs the blood of people who gave it all up so we would have the chances they never did. We are all the descendants of someone who made our future the purpose of their lives. We are the descendants of pilgrims. We are the descendants of settlers. We are the descendants of men and women that headed westward in the Great Plains not knowing what awaited them. We are the descendants of slaves who overcame that horrible institution to stake their claim in the American Dream. We are the descendants of immigrants and exiles who knew and believed that they were destined for more, and that there was only one place on earth where that was possible. It's Just a Day for Small Revelations Thing

Dear America,

we begin another week with devastation at our feet; the sheer might, the magnificent path of terror, reveals how truly vulnerable we are to mother nature.

by the end of the day, as America watched first responders pull children from the rubble, all the rest of us could really do was pray for Moore.   Moore, Oklahoma.

Just how does Moore -- a population of roughly 55,000 --  recover when left with nearly nothing remotely close to a town, a community, a village with stores, and schools, and restaurants, and everything else we can't live without?

It is in this moment that little old g thing returns to a message from Sunday's Joel Osteen.  Osteen devoted the morning sermon to holding the vision -- that nothing good comes from a defeatist attitude.  But more than that, we must remain diligent, and vigilant, playing an active role in the making of our goals, large or small, come to life.  But even more than that, we must anchor this vigilance in faith, trusting in the Divine Providence lighting the way, feeding our soul, sustaining our every move with the proper mix of humility, grace, gratitude, and spirit of transcendence and perseverance.

But even more than all that, Osteen recommended that we literally hold the vision in our hands, see it, feel it, give life to it -- cut out a picture of that new body and hang it on the fridge, make a collage of the family homestead of our dreams.  He impressed upon us the pure necessity of instilling the impression mechanism deep within our being like planting a seed; that by placing this deep, spiritually incarnate, motivating, enduring through thick and thin lasting impression, we basically make known to the unknown: this is what we want for ourselves, for our family, for our community, for our country.

Much like the quote of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe:

 "Whatever you do,
or dream you can,
begin it.
Boldness has genius
and power
and magic in it."

Indeed.

Strikingly, Osteen reminded us that 'anything that is seen is temporary, subject to change'  -- and instantly, Moore becomes a rather poignant, horrific example.  But to better understand the context and intention -- Osteen included this thought to convince us that we can change our circumstances, our experiences, our lives for the better.   Life in the natural can not only lean upon the Unseen -- life in the natural, as a matter of record,  is dependent upon It.

Sometime during the message, little g scribbled on her notepad, Proverbs 29:18.  So returning to The Good Book this morning, this is how it reads:

 "Where there is no revelation,
the people cast off restraint;
 but blessed is he who keeps the law."

I got to hear Glenn Beck for about fifteen minutes this morning as I was taking my girl to school.  In that fifteen, Beck was relaying the twitter brigade out in full force throughout the night just as he was traveling to the epicenter of disaster with his crew.  Let's just say, the comments were of the Unkind kind, poking fun at the Bible belt being thoroughly belted with God's wrath.

And Beck was like, geeze, what the $%&@ --- is this where we are at?  Really?

Which forced G to return to Proverbs for back up --

We are clearly at an age in America, where God is being replaced, rebuked even.

No longer are we a nation living Under God, but a nation mocking those who believe in God, and self-righteously ridiculing the religious lot holding up the middle of America. 

While that's not all -- what began with maybe the very moment we took a moment of silence for prayer out of public schools has evolved into an all out assault against religion -- specifically, the Judeo-Christian foundation this nation was made.

  • Prayer beginning government meetings are being challenged in court.  See here.  Which is funny, considering anyone in the town can step up to offer the day's prayer -- how can the town help it if those who step up happen to shape the prayer following the teachings of Christianity?   It's called the "free exercise thereof,"  in motion!   Hello!

  • Religious beliefs have been ambushed and thoroughly trampled upon by the latest entitlement program known as Obamacare.

  • President Obama simply leaves out thanking God during his weekly address  -- the week of Thanksgiving, of all things.  Upon Inauguration Day, the invocation for Obama leaves out "under God,"  see here.  While the recognition of being fully "endowed by our Creator" is left out all the time nowadays -- no need for back up there, just pay attention and listen once in awhile.
Our humanity is showing in Oklahoma, and everywhere.

Alarms are blaring, people.  

Radical change is transforming the way we think, the way we act, the way we respond by the root.

[Another perfect example of this -- is the targeting of Conservative Groups in the Seen.  The silencing of opposition in the press, being the second.]

Whether it is the Great Progressives of the Early 20th Century, the Great Depression, the Great Devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Sandy or the tornadoes of Oklahoma shattering the earth's record with 200 mile/hour winds, or the Great Recession of today  --- "where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law."  Dare I say, our spiritual lives are experiencing a great, tumultuous, recess.

Is there a correlation to all the madness?  Is there a real, life-sustaining connection between the Seen and the Unseen?  Just a girl says there Is.

Good People require a Good Dose of God -- so stop making fun of us! 
And surely as it is written in the words "free exercise thereof" --  we may practice as we please, as we see fit, as we choose, or not at all.  But as a whole --  the collective, as the Left loves to call it --  it is our duty as a people to leave the impression upon every generation that there is a God and Divine Providence still rules, or we can continue to take our chances.  [It's kinda like  Powerball, only kicked up a notch.]

It's Progress, a Move Forward, Bringing Back BillyBoyClinton? Thing

Dear America,

even though four years ago you couldn't stand the man, give you prime time before the American people, and apparently, you'll run with it -- and run clinton run you did:

"I want Barack Obama 
to be the next President of the United States

as the standard bearer of the Democratic Party."

Clinton gave Obama permission to be the STANDARD BEARER of the Democratic Party -- not the party of the Far Left [which just so happens to be the direction the Obama Administration is in].

Of course -- the simple simon response to this spectacle is that there is no freedom if the government forces any of us to do anything.

The prevailing answer from the Left to the Right always seems to be the same one -- we, the government, know better than you.

"We Democrats think the country works better with a strong middle class, real opportunities for poor people to work their way into it and a relentless focus on the future, with business and government working together to promote growth and broadly shared prosperity. We think "we're all in this together" is a better philosophy than 'you're on your own.'"
At first, he sounded republican, didn't he?  It was just that last little digger he threw into the mix: 

 "We think 'we're all in this together'

Hey, Mr. Past-President-Centrist-in-Chief-only-to-have-Newt-Saving-Your-Sleezy-Butt:

 Capitalists INVENTED "we're all in this together!" 

We won't dwell on the wealth of information going down that road and over that bridge and flashing on everyone's home page as we speak -- for we don't have time for that. I want to get at billybob from a perspective only he can appreciate:  that speech...that performance...prompted a gag reflex like no other.

Let's moveon.org to another thought that immediately comes to mind, like:

"Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire."

But it was worth it, wasn't it, Bill.

And you did your job -- sometimes with flights of great pause, sometimes with force, sometimes it even looked like you might cry.  It was masterful, magnificent, and true love is a many splendored thing. 

The democrats decidedly turned to one of the world's best known liars -- a president impeached for such a thing -- and everyone's okay with it?  Is this -- and Sandra Fluke -- really the best you got for this night?  Is billyboy really what it takes to save Barack's butt?

I loved the end.

No really, I loved the end when Barack comes out on stage alongside billy and goes to hug him, whispering sweet nothings in his ear, and then, never taking his hand off him; he's like waving to the delegates on one side, and shooing the past president off the stage with the other.  The body language was classic, thanks, man, now away with you...and what's with that f*&ING fifty two minutes on stage?  I didn't agree to that....he was like, okay billy, you're done now....let me show to the back of the bus and out the door, you arrogant SOB -- man, give you an inch and you take a country mile...all smilin' and shh

The speech was riddled with party lines and untruths and the expected fudging of the numbers to not even mentioning some numbers at all.

It was a show.

And all in all, let's call it what it is, is.

It was sexual relations -- but last night was a last ditch effort to save a failing presidency.

[G note:  and NOW talk about a 'war on women' -- billy grew to become the poster boy of taking girls backwards!  A prolific womanizer -- and someone who single-handedly redefined what sex is, changing the minds of both girls and boys for generations ever-after, and not for the better -- gets picked to promote Barry's second term?  I can't help but wonder how that feminist-on-parade only minutes beforehand was thinking? Or maybe she is simply too young to connect the dots or too ideologically driven to be distracted by the affront happening right in front of her.  real shame]

That's all it is.

The democrats will get a hump and a bump; and tonight, Thursday, we will ring in a new era hoping for a re-do of failing economic policies while nothing has changed.  And all because the democrats chose to look backwards, instead of forward, to make their case.  the irony is thick, rich and bulging at the seams.

Fast and furious to the end of billy's planned comments:

Since billy's famous for two things -- sex with a cigar and a girl in a blue dress AND coming to the middle with a republican congress to make Washington work to save his presidency, we can immediately replace his left handed plugs with the right hand; for in the spirit of cooperation, the right can see this happy ending going their way just as easily as the left.  More than that, the opposition can handle it with aplomb.

To form a more perfect union will take an equipment change; the left doesn't have the goods and the majority of Americans who truly want what's best for the country know it.

And that whole business yesterday making a total scene about taking God out, putting God back in, taking God out, putting God back in, do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around, that's what it's all about -- absolutely obscene.

Talk about public display of affection, but in reverse.  The delegates were actually booing God; booing at just the thought of putting God back into the party's platform.  Oh, and then, the heaven's opened up and according to the unbiased press, the president heard of this nonsense and said 'It is not good'....Oh yes, and talk about making Obama appear like he just saved Christmas, and Easter, and Sunday School the worldwide.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say something shocking:  somebody scripted this whole process.   For this allowed Obama, the chosen one,  to correct the blasphemous narrative going on down on the DNC floor.   He IS a savior.  oh thank heaven...bring back the columns tonight. But we digress.

It's strange, really; of all things -- the most nonthreatening aspect of Life Itself has to be GOD.  I just don't get this at all.  For the Atheists of this world -- you must know you are merely painting yourself out to be your own God, right?   right?    For the rest of us -- do you realize just how many OTHER NAMES FOR GOD we have?
