It's About that Julia Ghoulia Thing

Dear America,

"This President

Has Radicalized

So Many More People

Than ISIS Ever Did"

astonishing, isn't it?

...Julia Ioffe, a columnist for GQ Magazine, said this on CNN with Jake Tapper....and Tapper didn't even question it.

On one hand, this commentary is simply disgraceful; on the other, it goes to prove just how leftists really think, and operate, and have their being, really.  And it all goes to the credit of one of the Left's leading mentors --  Saul Alinsky.  They -- the Left -- should know a lot about radicalization, for Alinsky wrote the book that led a generation, and an entire movement; a movement that is still alive and well today.  That book is titled,  RULES for RADICALS.

Of course, what we normally think of when it comes to radicalization today -- usually steers us in the direction of the Middle East, the place where the deep seated roots, the fertile soil, and subsequent branches of Radical Islam began; it began there, only to grow and extend around the world, reaching levels of ferocity of extremism in ways seen and unseen.  It is a mystery as to how truly entrenched the world really is,  for no one has the nerve to talk about it, let alone investigate it...except perhaps, this president.  But that is neither here nor there at the present moment.

What is here  -- and there -- and everywhere -- is an unbelievable amount of harassment and vitriol against not only a sitting president, but a guy, a fellow American,  who honestly just wants what is best for this country; what is most on his mind, are the needs and concerns of THIS country, and no other.

Having said what she said -- just how this Julia ghoulia still has a job anywhere upon this very day, is beyond my understanding.  But even having said that, I will respect her freedom to say what she wants to say, given our foundation.  Free speech is free speech is free speech.

But oh boy...she gives one of the most asinine character assassinations of a president I think I have ever heard.

And nobody seemed to balk on CNN -- except for that one token conservative on the panel, David Urban...um, like, aren't you gonna say something about that Jake?

No.
He's not, David.
Doncha know they are all drinking the same koolaid, listening to the same podcasts, and doling out the same hate, at 78 beats per minute  (just to put it in a language common of the times back in the day when rules and radicals first aligned).  Only now -- it's better, bigger, bolder and on a loop 24/7, from broadcast news to cable to each and every wave of broadband from sea to shining sea.

Alinsky may have set this in motion back in the day when eight track tapes were just the thing, but guess what, folks?  It's working...and not only that, the Left has probably never been more organized or as powerful than it is right now.

Even people who think they have their head on straight --  like Kanye West -- suddenly have second thoughts and give in or give up; for by all appearances, the pile on Trump is simply too great; it's a mainstream mountain too high, a demagoguery valley so low, there ain't nowhere to go but into the stream of leftist consciousness, no matter how outlandish the perception or plum tall tale lies.

Perceptions don't need to be based in truth; it's called just the right mix of manure and dirt...and just about anything can take root and recklessly spread like a weed.

But whether we all agree to make America great again, or not -- make no mistake:  America is at a time of her own choosing as we speak.

Under our feet are numerous laws in motion... laws like, that of attraction, that of creation -- and everything that we do or say today, right now, is immediately placed into the American soil.

Tomorrow we reap what we sow.

I recently listened to Erwin McManus on the Hillsong Channel -- he was speaking of this kind of choosing that we all do, day in and day out, even if we go about our business totally oblivious to it.  And he said something rather stunning -- he said -- "evil men don't wait for God's permission to move forward."

They just do it.

No questions, no conscience at play, no wondering, um, should I or should I not.  They just do it.

Radicalization speaks of the kind of evil that only evil men and women do.

And for Julia to place President Trump in this company -- or worse -- to accuse him of "radicalizing so many more people than ISIS" is unconscionable, indefensible and wrong every which way to Sunday and back.  Julia owes the president an apology....

and, as a matter of fact, she owes me an apology, too  -- for just who is she referring to anyway?
me?
Have I been radicalized -- simply for voting for Trump?
Am I a radical -- according to Julia ghoulia -- just because I don't believe in open borders, or approve of Obamacare, or am about to vote yes on the removal of the California gas tax?
Seriously?   Am I?
Now, truth be told, the synagogue shooter didn't even like Trump, so that connection just isn't even there there...
But if we're going there,  just maybe I will take my crack pot who can't even build a mail bomb over your baseball field ambush dude any day of the week.

Julia, Julia, Julia -- this divide -- it is just part and parcel of the landscape of American politics, the choice of government large or small, and goes to the center of our differences.  Thinking you need to grow a little smarter than what you have on display, just sayin' -- this new radical- leftist hybrid model is just not ready for prime time.

And even though I know how you got here -- thanks to Alinsky and his followers, and their followers, and the followers after that....you are a product of radical ideas that were planted, promulgated and propagated for decades.  You feel quite certain, by the company you keep, that you are on the right track for the right reasons and are not afraid to say so through any means necessary.  For the end justifies the means, right...

I get it.

I have seen it; I have read about it; I understand it; and I even bear witness to it every day here in America.

and now, I am so over it.

oh my goodness,
oh my goodness.

All this girl ever wants for America, is what is best for America -- as a whole.

This diary of America is feeling so downtrodden...crushed under the weight of an American spirit usurped by hooligans and marauders and outlaws and ignorant people like Julia...speaking of which,

"I don't see democrats killing people."
said Don Lemon, CNN
... seriously, Lemon?
Newsflash: you are a lemon.

I have no more words to say, for today, other than it sure is spooky in America these days.
But hey...um, Happy Halloween?

the end.

Make it a Good Day, G

It's About the Less You Know the Sounder You Sleep Thing

Dear America,

there's an old Russian proverb ...
menshe znayech - kreptche spish
(the less you know, the sounder you sleep)

The president, if you recall, managed to get a little shut eye in the night of September 11, 2012.   After all, Air Force One was fueled up and waiting for him to climb aboard the very next day; Vegas was calling, fund raising was the mission at hand, and he wasn't about to let any kind of "mob action" get in his way, no matter how great or how small or how radical it would make him appear.  A political gamble, is a political gamble.

The one picture released of the president (October 2012) is supposedly from the night of the attacks in Benghazi.  It's nothing fancy, but it does show the president and all of his men huddled up in the Oval Office -- and presumably just around the corner, past a presidential bust, and down the hall from what's known as the 'Situation Room.'   Guess there were no pictures with the president in the "Situation Room."

Just imagining that if, in fact, President Obama showed up in the situation room at any given point -- such as the night Special Ops took down Osama Bin Laden -- the "situation" might have presented itself with a far wiser Kodak moment for Flickr to flick of the president.

But hey, menshe znayech - kreptche spish.

And you know what else? I'm told, the less one knows the less accountable to the details one has to be when the alarm bell rings.  And what does it matter for whom the bell tolls?   What difference at this point does it make, right?

The president failed to see the mission through the night of September 11, 2012; for if he had -- evidence would show the Commander-in-Chief present, physically....pictures on Flickr would show the president patriotically, physically, mentally, unemotionally present the whole night through just as the night of May 1st.

But now we know --

The broken pieces known as 'Benghazi' are starting to fit together.

Now we have confirmation --

"The YouTube video
was a non event in Libya."
Gregory Hicks
5-8-2013

Dare we note, it's eight months after the fact and we finally arrive at a bona fide fact, or two.  Who knew?

It was a terrorist attack from the get go, he said.

But people ==   Isn't it enough to know that the very next day, President Obama follows through with his plans to campaign -- in Vegas, no less?  Doesn't that stunning act of defiance against his Constitutional duties to the security of America, and fellow Americans still in harms way, give us enough information to pause and question the president directly?

Wednesday  was a "tough day," for this president.

Oh but allow me to clarify -- not really referring to yesterday, but I could be -- just give me a moment, or maybe a day or two, to change the talking points to fit; but no, we're talking the Wednesday, September 12th, 2012.  And calling for reinforcements from the NY Times, he added:

“We want to send a message all around the world,’’ Mr. Obama said. “No act of terror will dim the light of the values that we proudly shine on the rest of the world, and no act of violence will shake the resolve of the United States of America.”

Mr. Obama reiterated his intention to punish those responsible, saying: “Al Qaeda is on the path to defeat and bin Laden is dead. We still face threats in this world and we’ve got to remain vigilant, and that’s why we will be relentless in our pursuit of those who attacked us yesterday.”

Indeed, "Al Queda is on the path to defeat."  And I'm sure Boston was just a fluke, too.  "And that’s why we will be relentless in our pursuit of those who attacked us yesterday" -- like on 5-8-2013.   [Did you get what G just laid down there?]

Oh menshe znayech - kreptche spish, right?

Remember now, it was  4:05 in the afternoon when Washington received it's first alert.  The now infamous 2am (Benghazi time) phone call between Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Gregory Hicks came about four hours later.   For an early account of the timeline of communications, go to CBS News, here

But again, not that it seemed to matter for the Secretary of State -- Hicks declared it was always an attack and never a protest.

While somewhere in the mix, Obama placed an hour long phone call to Bibi Netanyahu to let him know he would not be making time to meet with him during the U.N. General Assembly meetings coming up in a couple of weeks.  [Remember, though, he found time to meet with the ladies of The View]

Oh but back to Benghazi, the whole story gets better --- Ambassador Stevens warned the State Department of volatility in the region a month prior to the attack; while, considering an anniversary of 9/11 was fast approaching, some might think -- putting nine and eleven together -- that the possibilities for disaster could be endless.  GO HERE.

Ah yes.  It must be true then... menshe znayech - kreptche spish.
And ignorance is truly bliss.

But what about yesterday?

Jay Carney said yesterday afternoon, after the hearings, "there are attempts to politicize this." [Now that is a good one.]  And then, he has the balls to insinuate Washington is covering old ground, old news, and claiming "the fact is this has been looked at exhaustively."  wow...what a way to impress upon humanity this administration intends to find out "exactly what happened" (see below)

The Washington Post offers one account on the day, just go here.

But just so you know, that I know, that you know -- Stephen Hayes, of The Weekly Standard, made available six days ago a rather stunning breakdown of oodles of information, including the assessment of a 43-page report produced out of the House of Representatives, and having attached a series of talking point edits prior to any messaging from the administration on Benghazi.  Steve's piece is some of the best gathering of things to know in print to date.  But don't take my word for it -- what do I know, what difference does it make what I think  -- read it for yourself, here.

The thing is -- the president can't just make up talking points; he also just can't say things like...

"Well, we are finding out exactly what happened,” the president again said. “I can tell you, as I’ve said over the last couple of months since this happened, the minute I found out what was happening, I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to. Number two, we’re going to investigate exactly what happened so that it doesn’t happen again. Number three, find out who did this so we can bring them to justice. And I guarantee you that everyone in the state department, our military, the CIA, you name it, had number one priority making sure that people were safe. These were our folks and we’re going to find out exactly what happened, but what we’re also going to do it make sure that we are identifying those who carried out these terrible attacks."   Jake Tapper, ABC News, quoting the president, October 26, 2012

...AND NOT MEAN IT.

We left Americans behind; we left Americans in the dust of Benghazi.

WHO called for the stand down?  It's a simple question; and somebody needs to stand up under oath  and answer.

The sincerity of finding out exactly what happened is in question.  The integrity back behind "doing whatever we need to" is in question.   The absurdity of blaming a video is not only in question, but unveils a more sinister plot to deflect, confuse, and obstruct the reality on the ground then, and now.

Even when the entire State Department was told it had nothing to do with a video, this administration dug in, deeper, and perpetuated the telling of a lie to the American people, to the  U.N. General Assembly, in front of live audiences at presidential debates, and throughout the world ad infinitum.  I nod to the gentleman, Mr. Hicks, when saying that was indeed a complete embarrassment.

Oh menshe znayech - kreptche spish, and how!

Our forces are always at the ready; if what this administration is saying be true -- that we didn't have any special forces within a reasonable distance to offer timely reinforcements, to counter attack the volatility,  especially considering its in a part of the world that this administration elected to participate with "kinetic military action" in the first place -- then what are we doing?  What are we prepared for?  And just how will I get to sleep tonight...?

Our military used to be ready for anything; and moreover, it had a reputation of going the distance before boots ever had to touch the ground.  Just the sight of a few planes would have been enough to stop further attacks in Benghazi on fear alone.  For another take, second verse same as the first, go here.

Our consulate in Benghazi was not protected, was not prepared, enough -- and Ambassador Stevens, and many others, knew it!   And at some level, or all levels, Washington knew it, too -- but apparently, they went back to sleep anyway.

I blame NOT our men and women in uniform, but bureaucrats, misguided ideology, ignorance, and political correctness for what has happened with our preparedness and it's effects.

Oh menshe znayech - kreptche spish.

But to end on a note high above the fray, allow me to point you in the direction of a hero in our midst.  It's just a story passed on to me from my pops (xoxo), who happens to also be a career and Commanding Officer, retired, and begins on day that changed America forever.   It tells the story about one Lt. Heather "Lucky" Penney and September 11, 2001.

The intent is to remind us all of the kind of courage that goes on around us in the every day -- calling attention and special commendations to the ones who are, in no small part, responsible for that surreal moment are heads hit the pillow and we fall to sleep without a care in the world.  [Well, most of the time, anyway]

Here she is -- enjoy.

America doesn't leave anyone behind, or at least we try not to -- whether that interferes with a presidential campaign, or not; whether it kills us by our convictions, or not.     And we tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God, whether it comes with the fire power to take out an entire re-election bid and upend a career, or not.  It's called saying and doing the right thing... much like what is expected to happen of a Commander-In-Chief.

Make it a Good Day, G

******Friday a.m. UPDATE****** ABC News picked up the story on the talking points edits, go here. Wonder-land didn't fall back to sleep today.    Is this a sign?  Is there a change in the tide coming?

******And EVEN MORE! from Stephen Hayes****** go here.   Stunning new information, as the Benghazi Scandal Grows -- including opinion from the then CIA Director David Petraeus.

It's All About Bulls and Bears, Hawks and Rats, getting along in a Free Market Thing

Dear America,

just sorry I missed the take down.

wow G, way to start all cryptic for a monday morning...but go on...this ought to be good...carry on...

Well, before I get to some esplainin' to do, let me begin noting the explanations of a president when asked about the undeniable onset of his crown of grey hair:  ""My grandfather was grey by the time he was 29.... So I figured it was going to come. It just happened to coincide with the presidency..." a president's remarks in an interview with Jake Tapper for ABC.

hereditary.

alrighty then -- let's run with that -- hereditary, like as in the inherent bent to run Socialist and Marxist policy all willy nilly here, in America, of all places? is that the same thing?  it all just happened to coincide with the presidency?

is it just me?  but funny how a little narcissism can go a long, long way; even to the point of preventing himself from admitting the cold, hard truth -- grey hair is just what happens to a president (before and after pictures prove it so).

So, Mr.O, get over yourself.
As a matter of fact, how about you just consider yourself one of us; this whole grey thing....it's just what happens to most people.   And like the rest of us, stress contributes to speeding up the process every time...  end of story.

Or maybe, you could have just said something to the effect of, grey hair is just a fact of life -- even attributing to such stats and information from real science [because you like math and science a lot], like as in an article like the one I found on Slate, you can read for yourself here.

It's the same odds for everyone:  by the time 50% of all people reach the age of 50, they will be at least 50% grey...50-50-50 rule...

Or did he actually think this stretch of mother nature's will was going to reassure us in some kind of warped way? as if it sounded better that it wasn't the stress of the job, but merely the imperfection of something in his genes, was more to blame? Like, it wasn't his fault -- it's more like it was God's fault, for the way he was made...and how his father was made...and how his father was made...and so on.

right, Mr. President -- we get it.  nothing is too much for you to handle; how silly of us to think that the job itself could be at fault for the temple's grey you got going on these days.

I just can't help but notice though -- it is far easier for the president to admit, and define said genus of the inherent grey gene to fits of heredity, but when it comes to explaining the redistribution gene [none other than the one safely disguised and hidden in the sleepy hollows underneath] and, subsequently, linking it to the science of really bad Marxist policy far and wide, he will deny his ideological roots like the plague.  No, he can't even talk about it.

Now....talk about issues.

His entire family  -- both white and black -- is rooted in the power of the state to solve all ills; and we elected this man president?

But nooooooo, let's talk about his grey hair and get a good chuckle out of it, shall we?

just sorry I missed the take down
take two

What I really wanted to talk about today was the splendid magnificence of the free market; something that our young gun president with the grey hair coming right on cue knows either very little about -- or, understands just enough to make things worse [to lead people to just more government] -- or, understands it so well, he knows just what it will take to bring it all crashing down [to force people into more government whether we want to or not].

And speaking of greater clarity and distinction along these lines, The Daily Bell offered it's readers yesterday an interview with Jeffrey Berwick that seems well worth the twenty or thirty minutes it will require of you taking it all in.  But must warn you, however; some of it borders on rather extreme ideas, challenging beliefs many of us grew up with and all.

[While this may be a good time to remind everyone who comes my way that with regard to everything I bring to your attention, it is for you to decide what resonates with you and what does not ....Who am I, right?   I'm just a girl....what do I know...la di dah di dah]

But if you dare to venture there, click here.

just sorry I missed the take down
take three

okay. I promise you now...here it is...
so a couple of days ago, I became a first hand witness to the free market being alive and well. Some of you might insist on calling it Survival of the Fittest, given that the circumstances begin to look awfully familiar to the whims and fancies of the call of the wild, answering to the inherent need for food.  But don't fool yourselves; it is the free market at it's best and brightest and deadliest.

Months back you may remember the day I was telling you about the rat poison incident -- and my baby Boo who just so happened to have eaten a piece of the little blue chunk of it in the corner of my garage. Two weeks later -- after days of lethargy, no appetite, heavy Vitamin K therapy and enough prayer vigils to cure everything in a mile's radius -- Boo was fine.

This was after two cars in the parking lot had a creature chew up it's insides, wreaking one car's alarm system in it's entirety, and knocking out enough hoses and electrical lines to prevent the other one from starting [thankfully, neither car mine...but we're all in this together, you know....ew, rats... seriously?].
Subsequent to the poisoning episode and property damage and a zillion calls to the property manager later, traps were laid out.  And we waited.

and waited.
and waited.
pesky little devils...

Well, just last Friday, Boo and I were walking along the same path we always go -- I let go of the leash for just a moment or two  to drop the garbage in the dumpster, and no sooner that I pick it up, this gorgeous bird flew across the driveway and caught my eye.  It was a hawk, with a wingspan of what looked like four feet.  Truly Gorgeous!   She took my breath away [and why I am calling her a girl, I have no idea]  But in that very same instant, I began to wonder, hmmm, what on earth is going on?  why are you here?  why now? ....as goosebumps quickly gave me a shiver.

And within seconds, Boo is on the hunt! Pulling me in a direction my arm did not want to go.

And the next thing I knew, a rat and Boo were face to face, with Boo's fur beginning to stand up now, as if he were psyching himself up for a rumble (little dogs think they are all that, even when they know not what they do).  I, of course, screamed like a girl and jumped out of my skin and went running in the opposite direction...with the pooch in tow (like he had a choice, you know).

While the walk -- it was as good as over.

Flash forward about a half hour later, sitting at the living room window, watching the world go by,  when a movement down below catches my attention.  It's her; thinking to myself, 'so, we meet again' (only this time from a distance we can both enjoy.)  She is sitting atop a tuft of ice plant on the hillside, looking into the bushes; while I'm wondering, does she happen to have her sights on the rat-bastard from the walk?  It's kinda hard to tell what's going on, as all the stippled, muted shades of beige and brown and green run together with the naked eye.    Nature's mosaic wouldn't give anything away, if not for that every now and again something moves.

And all of a sudden she did; you know, move.
And Lo and Behold, she was already standing on the muthr futhr.
And a second later, she was pulling out a long red stringy thing from it's guts. You go girl...
and oh what a hunka munka she turned out to be. While thinking about it is making me squirm all over again...

But this brings me to where I came in -- just sorry I missed the take down; after all this time, manipulation and packaging -- the thing that worked was the free market left to it's own devices.

......without any manipulation from outside sources
......without money spent on a single job to lay the trap that was made in China to catch a rat in America
......without a regulation demanding habits be changed or taxes be levied to control the population (that goes for rat and people and birds of prey)

-- it was only in the natural that could get it done.

And really would have liked to have seen it.

Sure, it's an over-simplification of serious economic conditions based on truth and consequences, reaping what we sow, supply and demand, in boom or bust, success and failure, even if it hauntingly reminds us to call upon our Darwinian survival skills learned of in sixth grade; it's a free market thing.

Whether in Tech bubbles and Housing Bubbles...Internet booms and busts, in banking booms and busts, Wall Street booms and busts, Central Banking booms and busts -- it works the same way for all of us, large and small....from mom and pop to wall street...whether all by our self or in the collective -- the nature of the beast works all the same.

And it all begins with our individual freedom to choose everything; even if, sometimes, we run the risk of losing everything.  In a truly free market there are no guarantees (just ask that Jeffrey Berwick guy -- did you read all about it? -- or ask George Soros how he loves the free market, taking down currency in a single bound...or just ask Bill Gates how the free market has worked for him...or ask Micheal Moore how much he loves the free market people going to his free market movies...or when you get to heaven, just ask Steve Jobs how failure really worked out for him...IN THE FREE MARKET!...ahhh, you get my drift....)

We all play in the same realm; even though there are no guarantees, history proves that the best thing to do is allow nature, and natural law, to take its course. Haven't we learned anything by now?

The thing is -- what we choose to pass onto our children (including, but not limited to, ideology, good character...and yes, even a grey hair or two) becomes the very foundation of the next generation; naturally,  it becomes the stuff that makes America.  Of course, some things are more important than others. (A few greys by the age of fifty, who gives a rat's a$$, right? -- but what about the stuff we can't see from the outside?)

hmmmmm....now there's something to talk about.

Make it a Good Day, G

Epi-Blog
my apologies for the long winded G...
but you know,
it's a free market
in a free world
for at least another day
yea me!
