It's About Godliness and Tidiness Things, and maybe a couple of other things ungodly and untidy

Dear America,

"It's a very strange phenomenon,
but when we reduce what we own
and essentially 'detox' our house,
it has a detox effect
on our bodies as well."
from the life-changing magic of tidying up
by marie kondo; yes, all in lower case.

so true
so true

and this is precisely what America needs right about now -- a good detox. In a less, is more, kinda way.

Maybe starting in St. Louis.

ugh, do not, i say, do not,  meet me in St. Louis....at least not for today.

About last night...

Consider also, if you will, that a look back to Labor Day weekend violence (just two weeks ago)  is deemed, by the general population and duly noted within, just like every other weekend --  St. Louis style.

Just where is the genuine community outrage... outside of the domain of cops and robbers?  To date -- 142 have been killed in St. Louis; last year, this total was nearly the same, at 135.

So just to be clear -- so far, this year, One Hundred and Forty Two people have died by homicide! in St. Louis.   Just who is robbing St. Louis of its peace?

Well, we can't just pick on the picket fences of St. Louis, now can we?   Besides, who doesn't love their ribs?  Let's move on dot org to Chi town, shall we?

Stunning -- from Chicago Sun-Times News:

"The seven deaths this weekend, including the killing of a 15-year-old boy Monday evening, were the latest casualties of Chicago’s gun violence that has taken the lives of at least 438 people since the start of 2017, according to data maintained by the Sun-Times."
FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY EIGHT people!  438 people have died!  Died.  Dead and buried.  Died.

Just who is robbing Chicago of its peace?

Just love how they refer to it as "gun violence."  As if the gun just did it; one day, the gun woke up and just snapped.  Guns don't kill a soul; people kill... using whatever means necessary and available -- knives, buses, trucks, cars, trains, planes, rope, neckties, hands, poison, water, and yes, sometimes guns.

The toxicity of these urban cities is through the roof -- gun violence, drugs, gangs, assaults, robberies, rape, sexual assaults.

Our living spaces affect our body
-- marie kondo knows.

To have a conversation about police officers and African-American men meeting up in the neighborhoods of the real world, we must look at the whole picture.  America -- the one big happy family that it is -- must learn to create relationships built upon mutual respect, a healthy amount of space, and pillars of good character, that are conceivably as neat and tidy as the environments we keep, dream, or intend, whether on the micro or macro level.

Though, even if we managed to get everyone into the picture, just when does a family portrait ever tell the whole story, right?

Lighting the town on fire, or pelting a mayor's home windows with rocks, is no way to begin a sit down and find resolution; a meeting of the minds has hardly a chance to come together when the room is chock full of animosity, hate, and prevailing mistrust, with the ill begotten bad sense to start with violence.  Who does that and truly believes its a good idea?   The violent riots begun by Anarchists, Black Lives Matter, Antifa....have no place in a civil society.  None.  [Would just love to see how they all live, just sayin.']

"Cleaning involves energetic movement,
which would naturally contribute
to losing weight and staying fit.
And when our space is completely clean,
we don't have to worry about tidying,
so we are free to focus
on the next issue that is important
in our lives."
marie kondo strikes again

And while this girl has blogged extensively about the facts on police shootings, courtesy of such notable and learned people as Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute....I'm not feeling the need to go there now.  Again.  ugh.   [But feel free to read that one about the facts, on big data, from a year ago. It's really good :)]

Now, getting closer to home -- according to Mac Donald's studies, the reality is this in one of California's largest cities:

"In Los Angeles, blacks between the ages of 20 and 24 die at a rate 20 to 30 times the national mean.  Who is killing them?  Not the police, and not white civilians, but other blacks.  The astronomical black death-by-homicide rate is a function of the black crime rate.  Black males between the ages of 14 and 17 commit homicide at ten times the rate of white and Hispanics male teens combined.  Blacks of all ages commit homicide eight times the rates of whites and Hispanics combined, and at eleven times the rate of whites alone."
"When we put our house in order,
the air inside becomes fresh and clean."
just more marie

indeed.

After my girl returns to school in the fall, I play this game with myself, living off of the fridge and pantry for as long as I can without grocery shopping.  It becomes highly obsessive, as all the while it makes cleaning out the pantry in order to start anew all the more challenging as the days and weeks go by; it uses every creative gene in my body to come up with things to make, taking the Food Network's Chopped challenge, complete with its cult following, to a whole 'nother level.  This girl can follow herself like nobody's business...teehee.

It's all about the process of not wasting a single, many-a-splendored thing.  And honestly, I haven't skipped a beat -- now going on six weeks!  Sometimes, I even amaze myself.  [Point of advice:  check expiration dates on canned items....and eat them up in a timely fashion before wasting food and hard spent dollars.]

So in light of this day and where we began -- my heart is crying out across the land, from my home to yours.   What a waste of human life, in all of it's potential and full expression unseen, in the every day -- year over year -- when one human being takes the life of another, and throws it away -- whether in St. Louis, or Chicago, or Los Angeles, or Baltimore, or Charlottesville, or New York City, or Boston, or San Francisco, or Seattle, or Nashville, or Miami....we could go on and on and on.  It's not just one life wasted -- for its ripple effects fan out to the one who committed the crime, the families, the entire community which continues to grieve and take the hits.

Where is the community outrage, outside of the domain of cops and robbers?  That 15 year old, above, was somebody's baby boy -- could have been mine, or yours, or the neighbors, or the kid that lives down the street in the house with the neat lawn and a rainbow of flowers.

Just who is robbing who of the peace and quiet and contentment of a life fully lived?

America's proverbial HOUSE is clearly NOT in order.  Moreover, how can there be any 'restoring of order' when the House of Chaos not only exists, it usurps all justice and power and rule of law in it's path, leaving not a single foundation -- no matter if that path is tree-lined or not?

Wonder what would happen if we just cleaned ourselves all up?

Did you happen to catch the mug shots of the Antifa protesters at Berkeley -- rioting against free speech and Ben Shapiro -- just this last week?  It's like, c'mon dudes, cut your hair already -- maybe get a hot shave once in awhile; did you leave your house with clothes on the floor, too?  Or does your mom still pick up after you?  What's in the fridge,  is it even clean?   Have you ever in your life cleaned a toilet?  On the scale of 1 to 10, how would you characterize the clutter from room to room? [Don't hate; just a bunch of good questions.]

Tidiness breeds more tidy, while untidiness breeds more untidiness --  there's just no other way to say it.  It's the same law that applies to everything in nature; apple trees bear only apples, lemon trees bear only lemons.  We are what we eat, what we think, and go in the direction our hearts and minds take us.  Why would the alt-left, black lives matter folks, of St. Louis commit harm against each other and its city?  What are they thinking?

Part of the process of tidying up by marie kondo, delves into choices we make and how to identify what is truly precious -- and become the things we keep.

The more we tidy, the more we realize that the material world is a lot less complicated once we peel away all the stuff that really doesn't matter to us; that ultimately, we can find contentment in having even fewer things around us, which in turn, becomes our saving grace, a by-product of the process that comes almost out of nowhere, perhaps out of thin air.  Poof!  All of a sudden, we find ourselves complete; suddenly we become just a girl who has everything she needs and nearly nothing show for it....go figure.... and make that with a thinner figure, to boot.  Things that once were deemed toxic -- the broken, the unworn, the unloved, the bad ju-ju of lives and loves past, are all gone.

What would happen if America cleaned herself up?  One room at a time....

Trimmed here.
Cut back there.
Lived within OUR-All American means.
Extinguished entire departments altogether -- commerce, education, energy...
Didn't "buy" anything new, especially on credit
Reduced crony capitalism with term limits!
Made it unlawful to profit off of legislation!
yadi yadi yada...you know where I'm going with this.

Perhaps holding onto the things that truly set us free, the things we love with our whole heart --

here's some House Rules for you --

A truly Limited Government...being content with growing smaller and smaller.
Be true to the totality of Life Itself, and all that God wants us to be,  being fully aligned with the pure, limitless aspects of the "Free Exercise thereof" of our religion! (what a beautiful thing!)
Right to keep and bear arms -- lawfully and respectfully...

Ah hell, might as well just call it what it is:
to hold tight to OUR CONSTITUTION
and the Rule of Law...our sovereign borders and all.
Respect the flag
Love our neighbor as ourselves
Respect each others persons, places and things
Follow the law
Raise our children well
Conserve energy
Recycle
Say our please's and thank you's
Open the door for each other
Take turns
Give back
Say our prayers

Oh and Stop violent protests of all kinds, and use our words -- calmly, collectively, no matter the conflict!  What a concept.

It would seem, the more we answer in the affirmative to the things that truly matter, the better all the world would be -- starting at home.

Ah from the fire to the frying pan -- America is the best place to live on the planet, as long as we prioritize taking meticulously good care of her.  Generation after generation, it is all about replicating Strong Americans from Strong Americans, in the safe guarding and keeping of America.  And this will take great courage, and time.   Renovations always take longer than we think...

If we take care of her -- she will take care of us; as right conduct multiplies, our duty to God and to country go hand in hand with the privileges and equal rights under the law.  And nevermind that my self-cleaning oven -- working as we speak-- makes even the practical joys of life all the more delightful.

May God bless St. Louis -- just the place where this day had her start; and may God Bless the United States of America.  Come to think of it, Godliness and tidiness may just about be the only two things we will ever need to know and love, inside and out.

It's Can Get Messy Being a Co-Worker With God Thing

Dear America,

"Man is growth by law, and not a creation by artifice, and cause and effect is as absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and material things.  A noble and Godlike character is not a thing of favour or chance, but is the natural result of continued effort in right thinking, the effect of long-cherished association with Godlike thoughts.  An ignoble and bestial character, by the same process, is the result of the continued harbouring of grovelling thoughts.

Man is made or unmade by himself; in the armoury of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself; he also fashions the tools with which he builds himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace.  ...Between these two extremes are all the grades of character, and man is their maker and master."

good morning
this day takes me directly to James Allen for nourishment of the mind and body--

what say you?

What say you upon this dawn, after a second night of violent protests in Charlotte, North Carolina?

Now before anyone gets all up in my face -- mind you, our president just the other day (Tuesday, to be exact) and speaking before the United Nations, called upon all people to consider this notion of co-creation with God -- the very THING inside us that connects us through Spirit, and allows for us to recognize right from wrong, or being of noble character, or not -- and he began with a quote from Martin Luther King Jr.:

"Sitting in a prison cell, a young Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote that, “Human progress never rolls on the wheels of inevitability; it comes through the tireless efforts of men willing to be co-workers with God.”
and going straight to his close:

"...But my faith in those principles does force me to expand my moral imagination and to recognize that I can best serve my own people, I can best look after my own daughters, by making sure that my actions seek what is right for all people and all children, and your daughters and your sons.
This is what I believe:  that all of us can be co-workers with God.  And our leadership, and our governments, and this United Nations should reflect this irreducible truth."

Now, in analyzing this speech (and nearly every speech he makes, really) -- given his personal penchant to please all people, it turns into a rather messy message.  In and of itself, his constant overarching appeal to the masses, especially an audience of many nations,  turns into mush -- after a'peel after a'peel is plucked one by one, the core message becomes a nugget of nothingness; the fundamental principles of America turn into nothing more than pig slop.  And America becomes no different than any other place on earth.

But this idea of being co-workers with God thing is intriguing, isn't it?

Skipping around a wee bit, moments before he says "but my faith in those principles does force me to expand my moral imagination...by making sure that my actions seek what is right for all people and all children..."  He makes this statement:

"My own family is a made up of the flesh and blood and traditions and cultures and faiths from a lot of different parts of the world -- just as America has been built by immigrants from every shore.  And in my own life, in this country, and as President, I have learned that our identities do not have to be defined by putting someone else down, but can be enhanced by lifting somebody else up.  They don’t have to be defined in opposition to others, but rather by a belief in liberty and equality and justice and fairness."
And I wonder...are you sure about that Mr. President?

Let's begin with putting down average Americans -- as in when campaigning in 2008 -- here's Genesis 2.0 when you said, "They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

And evidently, along those lines and fast forward to like a week ago, you didn't think there was anything wrong when your candidate, Hillary, called a whole lot of Trump's followers an irredeemable basket of deplorables.  What gives?  Where is this unfettered "belief in liberty and equality and justice and fairness" for all?

And something else here is rather surprising  -- this snippet from your speech also answers to the mass confusion as to who you are and from where you came -- "my own family is made up of the flesh and blood and traditions and cultures and faiths from a lot of different parts of the world..."  thank you.

So even though Trump put to pasture the question of where you were born recently -- after revealing Hillary's people promoted the maligning story of your country of origin back when she was campaigning against you -- it is fascinating that all of a sudden you put your multi-cultural reality not only back into the conversation, but its like a point of light now, beaming a certain truth that was once hidden -- no, better still, once disguised. (What, for personal gain, perhaps -- to appear more like us regular folk?  Why the deception, the repackaging of who you really are, if so proud and have nothing to be ashamed of now...)

Yeah, that was then, and this is now.

Now, Mr. President, you're looking at what comes next, aren't you...

Soon you will be free of the task of masquerading as an American president -- a president to all and in equal portion, fenced in by a certain discretion and allegiance and kinship to America.  Soon you will be free to go long, broad, border-less and global.

Indeed. Obama is about to join forces with the likes of a new breed of globe trotters and plotters...people like Christine Lagarde who recently said:
“History clearly tells us that closing borders or increasing protectionism is not the way to go. Many countries have tried this route, and just as many have failed,” she said. “Instead, we need to pursue policies that extend the benefits of openness and integration while alleviating their side effects.
“What we need is a globalization that works for all.”
Obama noted at the UN:
"And we can only realize the promise of this institution’s founding -- to replace the ravages of war with cooperation -- if powerful nations like my own accept constraints.  Sometimes I'm criticized in my own country for professing a belief in international norms and multilateral institutions.  But I am convinced that in the long run, giving up some freedom of action -- not giving up our ability to protect ourselves or pursue our core interests, but binding ourselves to international rules over the long term -- enhances our security.  And I think that's not just true for us"
But now look at me.

My blog is  spinning out of control, turning into a mosh-pit of ideas...trying to say too much...and for what...

The thing is, this day is really about this notion set forward by President Obama, about being co-workers with God.  For if he is accepting this as his truth, how splendid.  If he is accepting this as one of America's cornerstones, as well, how wonderful.

But it makes me wonder -- for how is it possible to be co-workers with God, without clinging to our Bibles from time to time?  How is it possible for him to believe we Americans are truly co-workers with God, if his administration denies such a faith to hold true to the commandments made with God?  How is it possible to be co-workers with God, in our every day actions -- if that very belief system is punished, discriminated against, by the unconscionable rise in secular interests and cultural demands that force the innocent "co-worker with God" to live a lie (See new edicts cast down to the military, to the Catholic Church, to the Hobby Lobby, to North Carolina's LGBT law...just to name a few)?

And if in fact President Obama truly believes we are to be co-workers with God, what say the president after the last two days of riots in North Carolina?  To be co-workers with God requires a certain character, no?  I want to hear from the president, to speak of the character thrown asunder on the streets of North Carolina.

"Man is always his master,
even in his weakest and
most abandoned state;
 but in his weakness and
degradation
he is the foolish master
who misgoverns
his "household."
James Allen

this is a sad day in America.
a sad day in so many ways -- we are a multi-lateral, multi-cultural, multi-national, multi-dysfunctional mess...

and I happen to love people.
I am naturally a lover, not a fighter.

But above all things, I am not only the National Rifle Association, I am a co-worker with God.  Thank you, Mr. President.  [At every turn from here on out -- this free association should be our first response to the Obama Administration....that is, if faced with a lawsuit against our free exercise thereof....]

It's a SOUL Searching, Seeking, Finding and Realizing It was Here the Whole Time Thing

Dear America,

I think it was just at the start of this week when I picked up on a story on the wire out of China lamenting that the time for SOUL SEARCHING in America may be now; it was just yesterday, when a story headlined out of Reuter's "SOUL SEARCHING lies ahead as riots cool in Britain;" and then just today, reaching into the stars for the second day in a row, allowing Mark Lerner on astrology.com to chime in, his overview on the day -- when addressing everyone -- tells us "SOUL SEARCHING right now is certainly back in style and communing with the earth, trees, and sky makes sense with the moon in the tenth sign of the zodiac."

So what do ya think? think we need to do a little soul searching or what?  [and you know that feeling when something keeps coming back at us, staring at us in the face, THAT is the universe speaking to us, is it not? While experience tells us that it won't let up until we get it...getting louder and more demonstrable until we do...just sayin']

So SOUL SEARCHING, hmmmm.

To actually do the action, you know, the act of SOUL SEARCHING -- which by definition and standing alone calls for a "penetrating examination of oneself, one's motives, convictions, and emotional attitudes."  from The American Heritage Dictionary.  But there within lies a detail which cannot be ignored, isn't there?  It would require one to recognize that you have a soul to examine in the first place, doesn't it?

A soul is quite powerful in and of itself, is it not?

I mean, when our bodies die, it is widely understood and recognized that our soul lives on...somewhere else.  IF one believes in God, it is through our soul we commune with not only nature, but actually with God.  IF one does not believe in God, the soul is still recognized as the deep thought, the innate connection before any action, the emotion back behind the action, the root cause of an action, and simply that part of ourselves that acts as judge and jury of our actions that runs totally separate from our body.

It is our soul, as a matter of record, whether a believer or not, that distinguishes us light years apart from the world of Animalia. We, ourselves, are responsible for our own actions; our salvation does not rest in the hands of another, our decisions to act, to love, to work, to think, to change, to prosper, to care, to sow, to reap, to riot -- is solely based upon what happens at the soul level inside ourselves.  We can "start" and "stop" at any time. We can be a part of the solution or the problem at any time.

Out of Tottenham yesterday:

"Nobody is doing nothing for us --
not the politicians,
not the cops, no one."
just known as "Freddy" age 19,
and surrounded by
other young men
and boys as young as 11

Sowing class warfare all over the world, aren't we?  My heart goes out for lost souls no matter in London or the streets of Philly.

From the pulpit, for words of inspiration from the Mayor of Philidelphia, go here.  And make sure you see that I am not speaking of a figurative pulpit, but a real one, okay.  Anyone gonna attack Mayor Nutter going to the pulpit?  Speaking directly to you -- the ignoramus crowd attacking Texas Governor Rick Perry -- the same Perry who is just a man who happens to be a governor, who's soul was speaking to him, encouraging him to freely display his inalienable right to freely express his "free exercise therof" of his religion [ref. to the AUGUST 6 Prayer event]  And on that note, if Obama can embrace and celebrate Ramadan from the White House (as other presidents have done as well) then what gives?  But I digress...

Guess what "Freddy" -- nobody is gonna do it for you.

THIS mentality creeping into the minds large and small is precisely the problem.

But at least in America, our children have (had) a fifty-fifty chance of recognizing their natural rights and duties to sustain life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness with a modicum of self-reliance nurtured deep inside.  Aside from all appearances today in that perhaps the last forty or fifty or a hundred years have destroyed such precepts, and seemingly at an accelerating rate....But the truth is, overall, this shelter, these clothes, our accessories -- the outer package that encapsulates our American soul -- was divinely created by our founders to live on through the ages.

The entire ensemble required each and every ONE of US to grow a soul -- anchored in civility, self-reliance, humility, charity, hope, integrity, and goodness.  For all else shall be added.

IF you clicked into Mayor Nutter's lambasting of his own, you would find astounding suggestions not only to the wayward youth, but to their parents. Here's a good one:
"The Immaculate Conception of our Lord Jesus Christ took place a long time ago, and it didn’t happen here in Philadelphia. So every one of these kids has two parents who were around and participating at the time. They need to be around now.”

GROW A SOUL should be our new motto.

Our children need parents to care and nurture them every day, encouraging honest to goodness growth of the soul factor -- connecting with their own child at the soul level within the family, within the community, while altogether aligning with principles that lift that child up, not tear them down.

It is not just a black community thing -- it goes the same for all of us.  A broken soul comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, religions, ideologies...doesn't it? doesn't it?

To poke a little fun at how unemployment numbers are often described, the need for a little SOUL SEARCHING seems to have -- all of a sudden and out of nowhere even -- UNEXPECTEDLY come into vogue; some might even say it is in high demand.  I mean, the entire world seems to be thinking the same thing, right?

It's kind of funny how it works, or rather how things have changed.  The United States of America used to lead the world in Soul Searching and Trends back in the day [1776, 1787, 1865...years when we stepped out in style, in union, soul to soul]

But the times they are a'changin', and much like European fashion trends and music [giving a cynical nod to the progressives]  America is quite often the last one to know; the last one to "get it;" for you know, it has to travel across an entire ocean.

Well, I take that back, Mayor Nutter, for one, seems to have a clue about what's coming; he is trying to prepare.   At this rate, and given from where I sit, California may not see some real soul searching for at least a year from now.

The thing is, America doesn't have to follow the latest trend. We can go back to being a trend setter at the soul level, busting the spring and summer trend that seems hellbent to falling to the lowest common denominator instead of our higher selves. Yes We Can. And it starts with each and every one of us being responsible, and accountable, for our selves and for acting upon, through, and after our own thorough SOUL SEARCHING. Yes We Can.

And then there is this:

A crazy production going viral as we speak.  Seriously.  It is getting all kinds of hits today just because Glenn Beck, for one,  is promoting it:  Felonious Munk @ www.stopitB.com.  Warning: lots of naughty naughty words.  A whole bunch of them.  But if you can get beyond that, you will LOVE this guy; he might even make your heart and soul sing...and we sure need a whole lot more of that these days, don't we?  don't we?

It;s All About an End of an Error Thing

Dear America,

"Markets will rise and fall,
but this is the United States of America...
No matter what some agency may say,
we've always been
and always will be
a triple-A country."

President Obama

interesting.

Civilizations will rise and fall, but this is the United States of America...No matter what I have said in the past, we've always been and always will be a AAA country and exceptional in every way...now give me back my credit rating.

According to Ben Feller, an AP White House Correspondent, "S&P officials said that five countries including Canada and Australia have lost their AAA ratings from S&P and then regained them. The shortest time that it took a country to regain an AAA rating was nine years and the longest time was 18 years."

Can you just imagine it? going another nine years operating under a veil of rocky credibility, questionable fiscal accountability, wanton corruption, and the continuation of political divide reaching polarities of extremities so far and wide we quite possibly simply fall down and go boom?

Can you just imagine it? going another eighteen years before, with certainty now, falling down and go boom?

This snippet in time exemplifies every sound principle, every minute detail of the separation of powers, every fine glimmer of reason which decidedly mounted our foundation upon austerity, humility, and conservative ideals in the first place; the founders purposely rested the general welfare upon the individual to hold to the universal values and principles broadly accepted as Natural Law in order to protect us.

And with good reason too, right?  The great responsibility and duty to stand guard and stand up to the fall of man fell to each and every one of us to uphold.

Human error alert, human error alert...

It wasn't long ago that I was being, for lack of better word, schooled by someone in my family circle. In a nutshell, this was the approach:

“liberals tend to evolve their beliefs and their ideas based more on “lived experiences” than established family/religious/ideological traditions.” [that would be a direct attack against my position as a conservative, just to clue you in]

And by the way, this is one of the 'lighter' lessons, having arrived at this left brain common sense through their personal experiences of course.

The thing is, whether we are knee deep simply into our own little microcosm of humanity, or attempt to be in relationship in the macro, the same dynamic seems to be upon us -- overwhelming us with animosity and a life long separation driven by differences, rather than our commonalities of humanity,  namely, the good things which have the power to carry us in the bad times and keep us tied together united celebrating our good.

The common good was the driving force of our foundation in the past, while it is the fundamental solution to a happy future.

At the risk of repeating thoughts of blogs past -- just how can we expect our government to be able to solve monumental issues that have been building up for years, uncomfortably amplified during the holidays, while undermining the opportunity we have before us to really learn, grow, prosper, and move on into the future with sweetness and light, when just across our own kitchen table sits the same destructive forces?

I mean, my God, just keeping aligned with embracing a simple law of civility seems beyond reach; believing we live and breathe and dynamically function as part of one big American family, respective of our inherent motto 'e pluribus unum', if the times tell us anything at all, we can fuggetaboutit.

The lines have been drawn, or decided for us.  This is good.  This is evil.  Done. [if only in our own minds]

We can't operate and progress happily, merrily, jovially under the weight of this family code.

Just look at London. Here's just one voice explaining it:

"This is the uprising of the working class. We're redistributing the wealth," said Bryn Phillips, a 28-year-old self-described anarchist, as young people emerged from the store with chocolate bars and ice cream cones.

Phillips claimed rioters were motivated by distrust of the police, and drew a link between the rage on London's street and insurgent right-wing politics in the United States. "In America you have the tea party, in England you've got this," he said.

That, a direct quote out of an AP/London article describing 'on a 3rd day'.

This is London circa 2011 [yes, just like Greece, the fall back method of choice to solve societal corruptions large and small] and it is coming to America.

If you think we are immune just remember Wisconsin just a few months back; remember Arizona a year ago; and then recollect Cairo and just remember the power to the people celebrating the so-called, peaceful 'Arab Spring' -- the same one responsible for the violent attack, I mean rape, of an American reporter within their midst who simply was there to record a slice of history.

Chaos is the new civility.

And by the way Bryn, anarchist-in-chief of the hour, you, sir, are no Tea Party equivalent.  DO you see ANYONE from the Tea Party using violence as a means for change?  DO you see ANYONE from the Tea Party leaving so much as a paper cup behind, let alone a trail of riotous devastation against innocent people and commercial enterprises?

I wrote down a comment made on a story a couple of days ago -- my apologies for neither remembering the story or the tag name of it's origin.  I do, however, remember I was surfing stories on The Daily Caller, if that helps at all, probably not, whatever.  But this is what I scratched out and placed in a prominent place for future pickings:

"Socialists
don't learn, they "feel."
And since it always feels better
to want an earthly paradise,
they never let rationality or experience
get in their way."

The means to an end seems of little concern, trivial, even if it may be highly uncivil, harmful, destructive, violent, and divisive in every way; and goes the same if whether or not it comes via covert ops [by example through the upper echelon operatives of this administration] or straight up [as in the riots of London].

Our founding fathers got it right for just so many reasons!

The building of our America upon universal truths centering upon the power of the INDIVIDUAL, of self-reliance, resting in a limited government in every way, and relying upon the RULE of LAW to decide in absolutes and above all protecting us from ourselves explains everything -- in this moment reflective of the life we have made for ourselves.

The founders saw this coming and gave it their best shot to align all future generations with proven statutes of civility, of lawfulness, of honor, of credibility, of accountability, of integrity, of faith, of hope, of charity.

IT IS NOT THE LAWS FAULT that we are in this mess; it is the people's fault.  [and by all appearances, it would seem to be true that only the Tea Party recognizes this profound grasp of the oncoming great fall of human nature, of man, of civilization as we know it in America going on right now... maybe even right down a street near you]

"I predict future happiness
for Americans
if they can prevent the government
from wasting the labors of the people
under the pretense
of taking care of them."

Thomas Jefferson

oops.

and also said, circa 1802:
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."  j...ah this girl just loves you Tommy boy...

but oops we did it again.

Austerity measures are coming to America -- whether we choose to see it or not, whether we agree with it or not.  For richer or for poorer.  In sickness and in health.

While here we are, deep into the aftermath of the S & P downgrade fiddling with our daily experience in both the micro and the macro -- with the anti-austerity revolutions raging far and wide -- THIS is our new reality.  We may not be seeing it yet just down the street, but it is coming.

The S & P cited the brutal, and sometimes juvenile, divide between the parties as part and parcel of their decision.  The way I look at it, it was kind of like a father sounding off from the head of the table saying, 'knock it off.'  The arguing about nothing and everything -- and anything but the truth -- was getting to him.

You know it's not like we didn't see this S & P thing coming...I mean, c'mon, they have been sounding off about this -- in the company of other credit rating agencies to boot -- for months now; it was as if months ago, the S & P told the president and this administration, 'don't call my bluff.'

well oopsy-daisy and london bridges falling down.

Make it a Good Day, G
