It's a Conference Call to the GOP on Line One...and It's a G-Thing

Dear America,

if keeping track...this is my third wish:

Let G be in charge of the GOP for one day [see also More Men Like Thoreau DayGet America to Go All In Day]

At the 9am wake up call to all party members -- especially those in the enviable position to have a soapbox to actually stand on-- I would hammer out a multitude of things to do and not to do.

Beginning with reminding all live bodies on the other end of the line, you are, each and every one of you, destined to be a part of greatness and to be fully accountable for the rightful return of property, and sanity, to America.   If you aren't courageous enough to handle the heat, just hang up now and keep your mouth shut from this day forward. But for the rest of you, 'be calm and carry on;'  and let's do this!

------ and then I would address the following points of light and love and liberty  (and understand, these things are not in any particular order; it's just allowing the spitfire of  my thoughts to just go...is this a great country, or what)  --------

I would stifle ALL self-inflicted attacks bearing wounds the size of eternity in the lifespan of a typical news day -- meaning, with regards to what Bobby Jindal did yesterday, or the day before -- it would not be allowed.

Sure, it is a free country, he can say what he wants, think what he wants -- but when it comes to being All In for the party, like the libs do, we totally fail making the mark on this time and time again. Romney was articulating a real and clear and present danger about the growing change in attitudes and expectations to ENTITLEMENT in this country; he wasn't talking about leaving anyone OUT, as far as attracting the potential electorate.  [Think of it this way, Jindal, and anyone else who doesn't understand the difference -- an alcoholic must first recognize they are one in order to start the appropriate treatment.]

The second half of this rule falls into an age old adage "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."   Even as we are told we are at war with ourselves, from across the pond and back, we must PROTECT our own -- end of story.  Find something positive to say, use a diversion tactic like the democrats to change the question, if you don't like it... or just say something to the effect of 'you will have to ask him what he means by that'....  and finally, in the last resort option, pull a Gingrich and just find a clever way to remind the left-brain propaganda stream how much they suck.

But heavens to Murgatroyde -- opting to just go out on that soapbox, of your own free will, and demonize a fair observation of your own guy?  are you kidding me?  [yes, you got that right -- there is no way Jindal is getting a gift from me this year; what, pray-tell, gave it away?]

[AND ANOTHER THING!  Just how quick are we to jump ship on Team Mitt?  we are pathetic, people, just pathetic...[talking not just to Jindal now, but to you Dick Morris dot com, and to you Bill Kristol, and to you ...]
And along this line but from a different angle -- given the close proximity to the election itself -- we must also tag the idiocy of people like Todd Akin.   He may very well be entitled to his own beliefs, but when his beliefs make the rest of us look like extremists and nincompoops, potentially just weeks before the biggest changing of the guard ever,  it would be a good time to spot check the rhetoric.

yes, indeed. spitfire @ work.

But when it comes to party convictions, principles, being the party touting everything conservative, we must not hold back.   We  simply CANNOT be led by the media to do a total about face on the guy WE CHOSE! to be the face and agenda for our own side.   Why are we so weak,  letting them be strong?  seriously?  I am beginning to think the GOP is made of clay;  or maybe it's quicksand...or sticks and stones?  What does it matter when it all ends up looking the same?  We turn to mush, allowing the left leaning media, the talking points of progressives, the attacks of the entire Left, control our every move and our message.

Let's open up the line to add this simple 'note to self' from an outside source, Keith Koffler; it's plucked from his piece in Politico today, All you need is love...

the Republican National Committee must today begin a four-year project to bring the message of conservatism to those who aren’t hearing it. Not a message tailored to one group or another. But a message that conservatism works for everyone

"[to win elections, republicans must] bring the message of conservatism to those who aren't hearing it.  Not  a  message tailored to one group or another.  But a message that conservatism works for everyone."

huh rah. thank you, Keith.

It just seems like all of a sudden we, of the GOP, have lost the constitution to stand up for the kind of government we want to have.   Which is ripe for irony, isn't it,  given the party's inherent level of appreciation and respect for this country's guiding principles,  as prescribed in our Constitution!

So real quick now, let's hit a few easy-peezy solutions:
  • replace the guy who sounds like he's got a problem, John Boehner, and admit him into treatment.
  • use the advantage Obamacare, to Negotiate!  It isn't even fully implemented yet and it's already giving businesses, large and small, a heart attack.  THIS is a real and tangible tool, dude.  Use it!
  • let the president lead on the Fiscal Cliff.  He says he has a plan, has all the right answers, make him lead with it; the art of negotiation is keeping your mouth shut until the other side spells it all out.
  • BUSH tax cuts have worked; look it up!
  • blanket amnesty is not the answer...we've tried that -- legislate an e-verify system and secure the border.  boom.
  • remind the African-Americans and Hispanic Americans that the unemployment rate within their demographic has only gone up since the 60's -- just how has the democrat party worked for you? honestly,  ask yourself that question and be brave enough to hear the answer.
  • designate the Department of  Education as unconstitutional; it is a propaganda stream, indoctrinating our children into the liberal mindset, thereby disenfranchising half of all Americans who believe in conservative ideals for the love of country.
  • open up offices for outreach in the barrios, inner-cities, college campuses, from sea to shining sea starting yesterday.
go spitfire go.

G got lucky last night and had a chance to listen to Mark Levin [his radio show lands right smack dab in the middle of the evening when it's more important to catch up with my girl].  Since I find him still lingering inside my head, allow me to highlight a couple of his thoughts before we move on dot org to the rest of our day:

"It's hard to find a leader in the mush, isn't it, folks?"

preachin' to the choir, Mark, preachin' to the choir [and I thought 'mush' was my line].

"RUN with Liberty! and fight to the death."
or something like that...

Last thing:  leave Mitt alone.  It's not Mitt's fault, so cease and desist making him the scapegoat long after the unbearable loss; stop looking back to whatever it is we wudda, shudda, cudda done to change the outcome.  Grow up.  Mitt turned out to be our best shot.   But this -- this monday morning quarterbacking of a failed strategy -- this just shoots our own foot every time.   And the unintended consequences of this behavior?  The Left not only eats it up -- it profits by it.  Matter of fact, it can survive off of it from here to kingdom come,  making a pretty good living off of it to boot.

The entire party is responsible, and from this point forward, let it be understood that it is 'all for one and one for all' from here on out.  Be kind and compassionate and open always; be firm and steady and courageous when you must; be principled, without attitude; be a symbol of conviction, without arrogance; stand confident with the pillars of truth crafted for every AMERICAN and teach it, live by it, believe in it with your whole heart, never falter.

It's not over; it's never done.  The duty of being the caretaker of the greatest nation on Earth calls for us to wake up and repeat in the every day.  Sure, we have evolved -- it would seem keeping our virtues is no longer cool, and likewise, self-reliance is, and out of the blue, totally over-rated.   So GOP'ers, if you are looking for easy, you, too,  are in the wrong country.

If there is nothing more you take away from this conference call, it is this:  put the scissors down and run for liberty in free abandon.  The truth is, it's a lifelong marathon for all generations to come; get yourself a good pair of shoes, stock up on Gatorade, eat your Wheaties, stop being stupid, and run with joy, GOP, run with joy.

Make it Good Day, G

It's TIME to Stop Apologizing RIGHT NOW among other THINGS

Dear America,

day three of:
 "Obama, Obama, There's Still a Billion Osama's"

and day four of the strike.

This is America under the Barack Obama leadership.

I just found a new place on the world wide web to hang.   It's called The Corner.  And the post from the evening of September 11th was a doozy, written by the Andrew McCarthy.  Jonah Goldberg, who wrote the first post for the hot spot back in 2002, describes The Corner going something like this:   "home for Volcano-Lancing news, congressional handicapping, arguments about American exceptionalism and updates on the Islamification of Europe."

Jonah, I do believe an edit is in order.

What about updates on the Islamification of America?

Oh G, did you have to go there?  and so early in the day?

How come our media still sits all googli-eyed at this president of ours?    Where is the re-play, one after the other of the people chanting:  "obama, obama, there's a billion osama's" ?

What happened September 11th of 2012 were PLANNED attacks: the embassy's were well aware, the state department was well aware, and our president -- who's simply been campaigning non-stop -- was still very much aware.  Remember now, he READS all about the Intelligence Reports every single day.

Remarks from The Corner yesterday --  same guy, same place -- go here.

"The “blasphemers” are only a pretext. What causes this is the indoctrination of Muslim populations in an evil ideology that justifies savagery over nonsense.  That’s the proximate cause. If you want to look at a material cause beyond the proximate cause, the place to start would be American officials like the ones Daniel cites with seeming approval: David Petraeus, Robert Gates, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama — and I’d add Lindsey Graham to the list. — book burning — because, They are the officials who condemned Terry Jones’s exercise of free speech as Daniel gently puts it, they were “worried it would lead to Muslim violence against Americans.” That is shameful. What “leads to Muslim violence” is the toxic combination of Islamic teaching that violence is the appropriate response to even minor insults and the dhimmified superpower’s acquiescence in this barbarism."  Andrew McCarthy

McCarthy includes a stunning, informative, knowledgeable response featured on another website, RadicalIslam.org's, Clare Lopez -- former CIA Operations Officer.  In it, she summarizes:

"We are witnessing the stepped process of the Islamization of American domestic and foreign policy unfold before our eyes and in accordance with both Sayyed Qutb’s classic book “Milestones,” as well as a November 2011 fatwa from Yousef al-Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s senior jurist, in which he said, “Gradualism in applying the Sharia is a wise requirement to follow.”
hm. which reminds me....just what was that nonsense Michele Bachmann was mumbling about...something that even John McCain made political hay poking fun at her?   Oh right.  THIS:

“The national security of our country depends on getting straight answers from the Inspectors General to the questions we posed in these letters…The Muslim Brotherhood is not shy about their call for jihad against the United States. We seek answers through these letters because we will not tolerate this group and its affiliates holding positions of power in our government or influencing our nation’s leaders.” Michele Bachmann

All she wanted was a simple inquiry.  And she got attacked from one of her own and many more.  She was made out to be a fool.    Really?

"What “leads to Muslim violence” is the toxic combination of Islamic teaching that violence is the appropriate response to even minor insults and the dhimmified superpower’s acquiescence in this barbarism."

MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD Motto: Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.“

The end goal for radicalized Muslims is Sharia Law worldwide.  Sharia is incompatible with Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom to Bear Arms, Freedom to Live Freely in the United States of America...just to name a few issues off the top of my head.

And what is America doing?

We double-down on the apology to Muslims, and run scared.

As we speak, Hillary just got finished apologizing AGAIN; basically addressing the world for the umpteenth time to let everyone know how sorry we are for being the cause of such an horrific turn of events, beginning with hurting the feelings of Muslims everywhere; did I mention she apologized?  Saying the film is so disgusting and reprehensible...pontificating about all the ways "this film" and the people who produced it, along with this putrid expression of free speech from which it came, is perverse, wrong, and in no way a reflection of this administration and these United States....oh -- and then getting around to what seemed like an after thought:   'and oh, yeah, but what you guys did was bad, vewy vewy bad.'

Some time over the next couple of days, I intend to buy a book.  My favorite morning talk-radio guy in San Diego, Mike Slater, had the author on, Elan Journo, discussing all the ways we have got this wrong.

To read all about it and link to ways to buy the book, Winning the Unwinnable War, go here.

One thing that stands out from the five minutes I heard was this:  we have failed to come at the problem from a position of real strength.   We talk big, but act small.  We speak with conviction, but respond with mixed messages. We try to neutralize the enemy, by begging for their mercy.

How can we expect radical Islam to respect anything we say or do at this point?

They are laughing at us.  And more important, in no uncertain terms, they are all Osama's now.

What has crumbled over the last couple of decades is just the threat itself.  We have lost it.  The threat of America's power and might being enough to squelch anything -- whether a little protest, to a full-blown uprising, to an act of war -- is no longer a deterrent of any measure.

In order to have that, it takes courage to speak our truth even if it might hurt some feelings and follow through what we say we will do.

In order to uphold it, it takes a vibrant, wealthy, robust economy -- one that is able to build and maintain a Navy, an Army, an AirForce, and a big bad band of Marines coupled with the clear and present danger of our intent to protect, and attack if need be, from the top down and the bottom up.

In order for that military to be seen and not heard nor put into harm's way, is the threat to use our force being so real, and so strong, and so formidable, nobody tries anything.  nobody.

Our leaders -- along with a complicit populace who have grown more interested in the Kardashians and free abortions than keeping their republic on the map  -- have placed America over a barrel economically, politically, culturally, morally, spiritually - - you name it, and we're over it.

Let G put it this way: we are no longer coming from a Reagan-esque position of true grit and Strength - - that just requires too much effort, too much work, too much money we don't have, too much moral accountability to count, to much of a backbone.

Guess what?  It doesn't matter when Romney spoke out against the outrageous response of this administration.  Before, after, it doesn't matter.  Out of turn -- whatever.   His conviction and argument still stands.  This is a guy who thinks and speaks like he wants to be the next president of the United States -- and  for all the right reasons.  [just what did President Obama fit in yesterday -- a fundraiser in Las Vegas -- just hours after Americans were attacked and killed, he's stumping?]

Sure, our heart matters a whole lot; but let me tell you, we won't survive without a backbone.

An image just popped into my head.   The snake is nearly all backbone.

Now, just where have I seen a flag using a snake --- hmmmm -----
of course, we have the Gadsden Flag:   "Don't Tread on Me."

and we have Benjamin Franklin's, "Join or Die"

It is time for all Americans to stand together, to join or die, from a position of strength.

Clearly, the world is being De-stabilized in ways way beyond our level of expertise or ability to accept as truth; we are way beyond the politically correct assumption all Muslims come in peace.   At least Romney respects the truth of calling what is, is -- with the backbone to say it outloud.

It is deplorable that this state department and this administration chooses foreign policy that just walks around bowing, apologizing, and kissing ass.

This girl is just sick of it.

I think it's time to bring all our boys and girls home -- every single one of them -- I've got a bad feeling about this; bring everybody home except for keeping some operations at sea to go to Israel's aid, if need be.

It is time to full-stop sending one dime on borrowed time in foreign aid to the haters.  Go here to see it all laid out.

It's time to say what we mean and mean what we say -- to all governments around the world, friend or foe.

It's time to get our house in order -- begin austerity measures in federal spending, reform entitlements, pay down debt, cut the deficit and mandate balanced budgets (equally important, operate from a congressional  budget, something we haven't had for three years).

It's time to get our personal house in order.

It's time for new leadership.

It's time to restore America's exceptionalism in every way.  They may very well all be Osama's now ---but we, the people, are Americans and live in the greatest country on earth in these United States.

It's time to come at this from a position of strength; but what do I know, I'm just a girl capturing a day in the life of America.

Make it a Good Day, G

and totally unrelated -- but thank goodness for something called the Internet Reformation -- because the mainstream  media is completely worthless.

and totally unrelated, but really it is.   Let's go to Breaking News --
"The Fed said it will buy $40 billion [with a B]
of mortgages per month
in an attempt to foster a nascent recovery
 in the real estate market.
The purchases will be open-ended [SAY WHAT?],
meaning that they will continue
until the Fed is satisfied [Holy Crap]
that economic conditions,
primarily in unemployment, improve."

are you kidding me.
AND
a comment from "lisa" says it all:
"I guess we have to actually fall off the cliff then..."

Heaven Help Us.

It's a Speech Worth a Trillion Words Thing

Dear America,

"I accept the duty to help lead our nation out of a jobs crisis and back to prosperity – and I know we can do this.

I accept the calling of my generation to give our children the America that was given to us, with opportunity for the young and security for the old – and I know that we are ready.

Our nominee is sure ready. His whole life has prepared him for this moment – to meet serious challenges in a serious way, without excuses and idle words.  After four years of getting the run-around, America needs a turnaround, and the man for the job is Governor Mitt Romney."

and so it begins, day two of the convention, with our Vice Presidential candidate taking center stage [full transcript].

"I’m the newcomer to the campaign, so let me share a first impression.  I have never seen opponents so silent about their record, and so desperate to keep their power.

They’ve run out of ideas.  Their moment came and went. Fear and division are all they’ve got left."

it's true.
Do you think we are gonna hear about all those "shovel ready" jobs putting Americans back to work or our precious tax dollars propping up unworthy green energy schemes, like Solyndra?

Are we going to hear about the "Affordable Care Act" double-counting 716 Billion dollars to cover for ObamaCare and Medicare at the same time or how [still] two-thirds of the population wants it repealed, in part or the whole entire thing?

Do you think we are going to hear him promote the "democratic process" of the Arab Spring -- now unraveling into chaos [again] after this administration intervened in Egypt, leaving the region wide open for the Muslim Brotherhood to continue the "caliphate process"?   and don't even get me started on the success rate we are seeing out of Iraq and Afghanistan....Or, bringing in an entirely new subject, how Israel is being surrounded by those who simply hate them -- on the verge of war any day now while America walks by their side, for all intents and purposes, utterly silent...  [See also the Condi Rice Speech of just last night in reference to all of the above...Hold up...Let me get that for you....Go here]

Do you think we are going to hear about that stellar unemployment rate -- which, we were assured, would be held to 8% or lower, if we passed the president's stimulus bill?  An unemployment rate that went to TEN before inching back down again -- an unemployment rate that isn't even adjusting for those of us under-employed or who have simply stopped looking for work; all for a stimulus that began at a cost of 767 BILLION dollars, only to rise to 862 BILLION dollars, only to really be more than that, considering our addiction to freemoney.com these days and costing us at a rate of 40 cents on every dollar.

But I digress.

Let's get back to the speech --

"So here’s the question: Without a change in leadership, why would the next four years be any different from the last four years?"

actually, we can only imagine that things, without a shred of doubt, will only get worse; without the concern to be "liked" -- without the worry of re-election in another four years -- this presidency is set to operate totally unhinged and unchecked.

What fuels this presidency? What is at the root of every presidential action, and sometimes in-action, thus far? What makes this leadership, this presidency, seem so foreign to the great majority of Americans?

It's called four more words:  Dreams FROM My Father.  Here's some background for you.

I really don't want to dwell on Obama's "memoir" -- I only wish to tie the narrative that got Obama elected in the first place to a little bit of what we heard last night from Paul Ryan...

"It all started off with stirring speeches, Greek columns, the thrill of something new.  Now all that’s left is a presidency adrift, surviving on slogans that already seem tired, grasping at a moment that has already passed, like a ship trying to sail on yesterday’s wind.

President Obama was asked not long ago to reflect on any mistakes he might have made.  He said, well, “I haven’t communicated enough.”  He said his job is to “tell a story to the American people” – as if that’s the whole problem here? He needs to talk more, and we need to be better listeners?

Ladies and gentlemen, these past four years we have suffered no shortage of words in the White House.  What’s missing is leadership in the White House.  And the story that Barack Obama does tell, forever shifting blame to the last administration, is getting old.  The man assumed office almost four years ago – isn’t it about time he assumed responsibility?"

WORDS have created or saved Barack Hussein Obama.  Lots and lots of words -- either his own or masterminded by like minds for the purpose of propaganda and deception.  And Paul Ryan hit this note more than once last night.

"Maybe the greatest waste of all was time. Here we were, faced with a massive job crisis – so deep that if everyone out of work stood in single file, that unemployment line would stretch the length of the entire American continent.  You would think that any president, whatever his party, would make job creation, and nothing else, his first order of economic business.

But this president didn’t do that.  Instead, we got a long, divisive, all-or-nothing attempt to put the federal government in charge of health care."
yes. this is a good point.

and it's topped off with a whole lot of common sense:

"They have no answer to this simple reality:
We need to stop spending money we don’t have.

My Dad used to say to me:
'Son.  You have a choice:
You can be part of the problem,
or you can be part of the solution.'

The present administration
has made its choices.
And Mitt Romney and I have made ours:
Before the math and the momentum
overwhelm us all,
we are going to solve
this nation’s economic problems.

And I’m going to level with you:
We don’t have that much time.
But if we are serious, and smart, and we lead, we can do this.

After four years
of government trying to divide up the wealth,
we will get America creating wealth again.
With tax fairness and regulatory reform,
we’ll put government
back on the side of the men and women
who create jobs,
and the men and women who need jobs."

Dividing things -- whether it be economics or demographics -- wealth, special interests or people -- is all Obama knows.   Obama never really got Dreams FROM his father -- that was pure illusion, pure spectacle, pure narrative, pure fraud.  Obama was -- and still is -- mentored and misguided mostly by his own love of self, getting major assists by suspect influences over the years:  Frank Marshall Davis, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, his stepfather Lolo Soetoro, Bill Ayers, Saul Alinsky...and the list can go on.

[Revision:   For more background on Obama's background, simply read today's post by Mark Alexander.  Located at one of a few of my favorite things: The Patriot Post -- Mark says so much more and so much better than me, but just gotta love the synchronized patriot spirits colliding.]

What kind of an American president has these radical associations to back him up?

It was a good speech last night.  There is a whole lot more that can be said for it.

But all I really need to know [besides what I learned in kindergarten] is that I want the guy who got his best advice from his mom, who didn't become a small business owner until after going back to school in her fifties and ultimately creating a brand new life for herself following the American way ---- and from his dad, who said things like, "Son.  You have a choice: You can be part of the problem, or you can be part of the solution."

"I learned a good deal about economics, and about America, from the author of the Reagan tax reforms – the great Jack Kemp.  What gave Jack that incredible enthusiasm was his belief in the possibilities of free people, in the power of free enterprise and strong communities to overcome poverty and despair.   We need that same optimism right now.  And in our dealings with other nations, a Romney-Ryan administration will speak with confidence and clarity.  Wherever men and women rise up for their own freedom, they will know that the American president is on their side.  Instead of managing American decline, leaving allies to doubt us and adversaries to test us, we will act in the conviction that the United States is still the greatest force for peace and liberty that this world has ever known...
...None of us have to settle for the best this administration offers – a dull, adventureless journey from one entitlement to the next, a government-planned life, a country where everything is free but us.

Listen to the way we’re spoken to already, as if everyone is stuck in some class or station in life, victims of circumstances beyond our control, with government there to help us cope with our fate.

It’s the exact opposite of everything I learned growing up....
...When I was waiting tables, washing dishes, or mowing lawns for money, I never thought of myself as stuck in some station in life.  I was on my own path, my own journey, an American journey where I could think for myself, decide for myself, define happiness for myself.  That’s what we do in this country.  That’s the American Dream.  That’s freedom, and I’ll take it any day over the supervision and sanctimony of the central planners. "

Central planners, central banking, central redistribution of wealth, central economic divide between the haves and the have-nots, central engineering of a false racial divide, central control and over-regulation in places where there should be none...this speaks of the dreams of Barack Obama.

Paul Ryan spelled it all out like a polished politician -- adding in his natural, boy-next-door, common man 'I drive a truck' fashion -- he propelled his entire audience from its shaky beginning, through jubilant fits and spurts, to moments feeling a surge of unexpected relief, all building to a rather raucous ending [because, after all WE BUILT IT! is the theme] saying:

"So here is our pledge.

We will not duck the tough issues, we will lead.

We will not spend four years blaming others, we will take responsibility.

We will not try to replace our founding principles, we will reapply our founding principles.

The work ahead will be hard.  These times demand the best of us – all of us, but we can do this.  Together, we can do this.

We can get this country working again.  We can get this economy growing again.  We can make the safety net safe again.  We can do this.

Whatever your political party, let’s come together for the sake of our country.  Join Mitt Romney and me.  Let’s give this effort everything we have.  Let’s see this through all the way.  Let’s get this done.

Thank you, and God bless."

We can do this -- oh yes we can.

Make it a Good Day, G

But my personal favorite-- and totally having nothing to do with anything important:

"We’re a full generation apart, Governor Romney and I.  And, in some ways, we’re a little different.  There are the songs on his iPod, which I’ve heard on the campaign bus     and on many hotel elevators....[laughter]   He actually urged me to play some of these songs at campaign rallies.  I said, I hope it’s not a deal-breaker Mitt, but my playlist starts with AC/DC, and ends with Zeppelin.[heavy metal laughter]"

Tuesday, March 29, 2011

Dear America,

"Real leadership
creates the conditions and coalitions
for others to step up as well;
to work with allies and partners
so that they bear their share
of the burden and pay their share of the costs;
and to see that the principles
of justice and human dignity are upheld by all."
President Obama

okay.  so let me be clear, we are in the presence of a REAL leader...

And just in case you are not convinced, perhaps throwing in twenty-three I's and all about me's, as president, will make it so; yes, roughly one every minute of his time.  And the "let me be clear's" -- and there were some real winners -- quite of few; while many of those were fittingly commingled with the I's. Before long, wouldn't you know it, we've got one great big pot of stone soup fit for a king.

"I ordered warships into the Mediterranean."

...even though this is not a war, per se...

"I refused to let that happen...
and so I authorized [kinetic] military action."

...it would have been really funny if he actually said 'kinetic'...

"And tonight,
I can report
that we have stopped Gadhafi's deadly [kinetic] advance."

"I made it clear,
that Gadhafi had lost the confidence of his people...
and I said that he needed to step down from power."

"As president,
I refused to wait for images of slaughter
and mass graves before taking [kinetic] military action."

"The task that I assigned our [kinetic] forces
to protect the Libyan people from immediate [kinetic] danger,
and to establish a [kinetic] No Fly Zone –
carries with it a UN mandate and international support.
It is also what the Libyan opposition asked us to do...."

...but stops way short, kinetically speaking,
of including Gadhafi's absolute departure...

"I have made it clear that I will never hesitate
to use our [kinetic] military
swiftly, decisively, and unilaterally
when necessary
to defend our people,
our homeland,
our allies,
and our core interests."

...that would be the oil...

"It should be clear to those
around Gadhafi, and to every Libyan,
that history is not on his side."

...because, let me be clear, history is on my side...
for I am, you know, the president of
 the United States of America...

"so for those who doubted,
let me be clear, the United States of America
has done what we said we would do."

"Thank you, God Bless you,
and may God Bless the United States of America."

...as he pauses at the podium for applause,
exits stage left,
brushing his hands off as if, good,
that's done.

oh, and I almost forgot, one of my favorite moments came close to the start, when the president offered up a few kind words from the streets of Libya:

"for the first time, we finally have hope"

-- being nearly brought to tears as he said it... O' pied piper of hope and change. Yes, and it is all because of you, Mr. President -- none of this would be happening without you.

And given America will officially be passing off the torch come Thursday, let us pray.

yes, yes, indeed, cuz you know:

"[while] Some nations may be able
to turn a blind eye to atrocities in other countries
[care to name names and take no prisoners].
The United States of America is different."

yes, yes, indeed, we are exceptional like that.

Now, speaking of hope and change, Bill O'Reilly's thoughts on the evening's presidential address, gave the Commander-in-Chief patriot points, saying he was actually showing signs of [kinetically] coming from the center -- highlighting the fact that after residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for some time now, he now realizes just how crazy things are in the real world.

huh?  are you kidding me, O'Reilly? Is this what happens after a Super Bowl Sunday Interview with the guy, you get all soft?  are you kidding me?

Please, review Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, if you will, and make a tactical [kinetic even] correction in the next few days.  honestly, are you for real playa?

The Obama Doctrine, just in case you forgot [but let me be clear here, only addressing O'Reilly] is this --

Never, Never, NEVER let a crisis go to waste --
the [kinetic] intention is to re-invent and reform America one crisis at a time, for as long as it takes, in order to fundamentally transform every facet of our lives, because...

"Real leadership
creates the conditions and coalitions
for others to step up as well;
to work with allies and partners
so that they bear their share
of the burden and pay their share of the costs;
and to see that the principles
of justice and human dignity are upheld by all."
Redistribution of wealth,
Social Justice reforms,
Means to an end,
Breaking the value of the dollar,
Moratoriums on creating our own energy supply,
Bankrupting our Federal Government,
Creating absurd, unconstitutional, regulations and legislation,
Equating Radical Islamic Extremism to "man caused disasters" --

while calling World War III ...."kinetic military action."

This is what we do in America, according to our fearless leader; and you fake it, til you make it, if you have to.

You, my dear sir, are a real [kinetic] leader -- you do the things you do so well, honestly, I gotta admit, it is awfully hard to keep up sometimes.

Make it a Good Day, G

But before I go, given you were speaking at the National Defense University last night -- and given MY topic of conversation, just yesterday, when G (ME!) highlighted the [always kinetic] Final Four stats -- I have to ask -- you do realize they don't have a team in the hunt, right?

oops, maybe I AM not done; you know, having just celebrated a quintessential mid-life birthday, your continuing emphasis on the brilliance of young people, marked by making waves world wide, is starting to wear kinetically thin...perhaps if OUR young people held a certain reverence to our founders, a bunch of old guys, and the age old wisdom nestled deep within our inherent birthright and duty, individually and collectively, our "kids" might then, not only be doing better in math and science, but may also be the first in line protesting every fundamental change you keep dishing out...we -- meaning me G -- might have to [kinetically, of course] shift our conversation over there in the coming days.

and don't you just love a good  "Day After"  -- popping an Advil now.
