It's a Shaken and Stirred Thing

Dear America,

welcome to the "ode to the art of the feign" day

suspect on the bottom:  Michelle O...with excerpts swiped from The Globe and Mail --

“I can’t stop thinking about this. It has shaken to me to my core in a way that I couldn’t have predicted,” the first lady said. “So while I would love nothing more than pretend that this isn’t happening and come out here and do my normal campaign speech, it would be dishonest and disingenuous to just move onto the next thing like this was all a bad dream. This is not something we can ignore.”
Mrs. Obama said the comments made by Trump are part of a long history of demeaning women.
“We have a candidate for president of the United States who over the course of his lifetime, over the course of this campaign, has said things about women that are shocking, so demeaning,” she said. “I simply will not repeat anything here today. Last week, we actually saw this candidate bragging about sexually assaulting women. I can’t believe I’m saying that, a candidate for president of the United States bragged about sexually assaulting women.”
Mrs. Obama went onto say the comments were forcing women to recollect painful memories of when they were harassed in their offices or sexually assaulted.
“The truth is it hurts. It hurts,” she said.

so let's head back to earlier in the week when little old gthang mentioned RAP, k...

Little Miss Moochelle MyBelle Obama is a hypocrite, with emphasis on the hips.

SHE and HER husband have best friends -- many, I'm sure; but two of them happen to be JAY Z and Beyonce, k?   and they sing things...things like this:

13. "Now my mascara running, red lipstick smudged/ Yeah, he's so horny he wants to f---/ He popped all my buttons and he ripped my blouse/ He Monica Lewinsky-ed all on my gown/ Oh Daddy, Daddy, he didn't bring the towel/ Oh baby, baby, we better slow it down"   (from Beyonce)

5) “You ain’t no better because you don’t be f*cking rappers / You only f*ck with actors / You’re still getting f*cked backwards” – Jay Z
"One of the main conceits of misogyny is that getting f*cked means you are a lesser being, and Jay Z epitomizes that sentiment here."  [noted quote, from here @Elitedaily]

And that,  my friends, is called a two-fer ...or is it more a menage en trois--- Beyonce highlights an Oval Office affair with the former President Bill Clinton, while glorifying a raunchy sexual escapade...while her husband sings about using women in such a way -- oh, how did Michelle put it -- it's just so shocking!  So demeaning to women, you know...shaken me to the core.

Sure, it's different when we make art out of sexual promiscuity and lewd acts; and never you mind how THAT SAME Bill Clinton was voted into every office of government, beginning in the seventies and starting in Arkansas --  and has had on the record numerous "encounters" with women, that include, but are not limited to: rape, sexual assault, long term and short term affairs.  Clinton was elected with a history of abuse!  With HILLARY's full support!  [Just don't embarrass me, she said...]

And Michelle just loves Bill and Hill, throwing her full support HER direction.

He's paid for abortions, he's paid off Paula Jones [850 grand! -- this link goes way back to let's party like it's 1999, too]...sure, no wonder... the Clinton's may very well have been broke when they left the presidency, after having to pay big time for legal defense and cover-ups and just the all around handling and fondling of  many many things.

Then there is THIS more eloquent response, taken from Jeffrey Lord, The American Spectator. [As good as this piece is, it left out an entire chapter of what happened @Chappaquiddick, emphasis on dick.  It's what we call a situation where the dick in question actually left a girl to die in a river bed after a party...Oh, but it is so wonderful having his endorsement, huh, Michelle]

SO Michelle is supporting Hillary now -- even though HILLARY has enabled the sexual predator she has been married to for forever...lied for him, called the women names and even turned blame back on the women in question, over and over and over again -- as if emotionally raping the women at every turn (kinda like that Jay Z song, but different).  And Michelle just loved Ted Kennedy -- just so grateful for his endorsement back in 2008.  Oh, that was just worthy of repeating it, is all.

Really, Michelle?  Is that seriously how you want to spin all of this, Michelle?
What you say shakes me to my core.

So now that we've covered the bottom rung, let's go to the suspect on top, shall we?

HILLARY CLINTON HERself.

Katie Pavlich, @Townhall published this over two years ago!  HELLO!  It's a legacy Hillary seems to stand by, and even feign to repeat if need be;  and yet -- there she is -- speaking out of both sides of her mouth like a true politician.  She's so dirty.

What difference at this point does it make, Hillary, if, in fact, Trump's behavior might be seen  as being in the same "sexual predator" category as your dear Bill (what is it you call him?...right, c&%$ sucker).  Why you act like you are so upset, girl?

Thing is, it's not about Bill anymore; it's about HER.

And HER --  HiLIARy  -- has NO CREDIBILITY.  None. It's hilarious for anyone to believe she does.

She cannot have it both ways.  Liberals and Progressives cannot have it both ways.

And actually -- being of the female persuasion, myself -- this girl believes the optics are just as damaging for HER -- if not more so!  While this business of feigning this thing called self-righteous indignation against the sexual predator, allegedly in Trump, is absurd; it's simply a self-serving indulgence that she does not have nor deserve.

Any speck of integrity surviving HER history standing by HER man, leaves HER with no legs...no hips....no tits...and no ass -- just a phony smile from ear to ear.   Wait a minute.  Correction -- maybe we can let her keep the ass all to HERself, if that could ever happen.

If Hillary really wanted to be a role model, pioneering a new world for women -- she would have walked away from Bill a long time ago; but she clearly decided to use Bill for political expediency and perks that would enable her own ambitions.   And seeing HERself as the first woman on the ticket for president is worth every disparaging remark she ever made about Juanita, Paula, Gennifer, Monica... it all worked out, right.

And gosh, just listen to me; and after all the pleasant things I said yesterday, too...what a shame.

It's just that this day finds me so pissed at the double standards that continue to wreak havoc, if not fuck republicans at every turn.  SICK OF IT!  Hear that, Michelle, Hill?

In a perfect world -- this girl would like us all to get along, play by the same rules, do the right thing, be nice, treat ALL people with respect, yaddi yada yada.  Indeed.   There IS something to be said for the Golden Rules; and the best part about them, is that they are an equal opportunity, cultural phenomenon of guidelines and suggestions of behavior that have truly worked...when we use them!

I woke up this morning wishing the presidential campaign was back on topic and discussing the bounty of bigger fish to fuck and fry.  And on that note, happy friday.

Make it a Good Day, G

[which reminds me... we have yet to talk about the slander against Catholics and Evangelicals coming out of the Clinton campfire...maybe some other time...But you know what they say, where there is smoke, look for the mirror on the ceiling.]

It's a Deflated Thing

Dear America,

BLESSED ARE THE MEEK

Trust in God and have faith. If you know you have been rebellious, ask humbly for forgiveness, and then be kind and loving.  Remember that this is man's only freewill choice --  not whether he shall go this way or that way, but whether he shall on the one hand accept his experiences with true love and humility, or whether he will be rebellious and angry, and full of torturous emotion.  Seek to grow to Christ-manhood.
The Quiet Mind, the sayings of  White Eagle
good day and happy Thursday.

it's a day knee-deep in being unsure of which way to go...

considering I have been MIA since the end of October,
um, me thinks little old gthang has either much to say or nothing.

... from Ferguson to the Mid-term Elections, from ISIL's grip upon the world to Charlie Hebdo...while just this week, we had to endure another State of the Union [6.0]...ugh.

But for levity, if nothing else -- Deflate Gate continues to capture our attention as if nothing else going on around us is amiss.  typical, right?

But seriously.
C'mon, Bill, really?
You are really going with the Barack Obama method of sketchy responses --

'uh, duh, I didn't know...I'm shocked!..I found out at the same time you all found out... in all my forty years of football... well, I''ll be...I had no knowledge... I had no idea about any of this...' ?????

Yes, paraphrased and possibly insinuating a daffy Belichick unfairly.

But where, oh where, is somebody shouting out from the chamber,  "LIAR!"  ?

How absurd.

It's almost as good -- and absurd -- as Josh Earnest's response to Mara Liasson during a recent press pool free-for-all.  Just go to Townhall's Conn Carroll, here., for more on that. Or, allow me to save you some time ---

And I guess I am doing my best to try to explain to you what that is," Earnest responded. "The first is, accuracy. We want to describe exactly what happened. These are individuals who carried out an act of terrorism. And they later tried to justify that act terrorism by invoking the religion of Islam and their own deviant view of it."
but wait -- there's more!

The second," Earnest continued, "is this is an act that was roundly condemned by muslim leaders. I'm describing to you the reasons why we have not chosen to use that label because it doesn't seem to accurately describe what had happened. We also don't want to be in a situation where we are legitimizing what we consider to be a completely illegitimate justification for this violence. I am not going to criticize anybody who chooses to use that label. I'm talking about the way we are trying to talk about this and we are trying to be as specific and accurate as possible in describing what exactly occurred."
oh the games people play.
oh my, oh my, oh my.

But let's not dwell, shall we?

Speaking of titillating responses ----- I found a great piece to read by Josh Rogin, of Bloomberg View, titled, Obama's State of the World, Translated.  It is really well done and I think you will enjoy it...so I'm not even going to give you a teaser quote.  Just click it and dig it; you can be assured of getting in a few laughs to counter attack the ocean of tears for fears we gained from listening to our Commander-In-Chief's Mission-Accomplished-On-Every-Thang-Take-That-Jack  moment.

Clearly, he is living in another America -- perhaps one on another plane --  somewhere between the purple haze mountain majesty and the white hot fury I'll be your pusher-man plains.

Needless to say, the president's radical rebel within has decided to go all in and come out to play. Right on cue.

Yay.

It just makes all the more to say ....um, uh, more enjoyable???
yeah, yeah, that's the ticket to the daily drills we dabble.    let's run with that.

But as far as this day is concerned,  I believe I have given you plenty to peruse;  think of this as just my pinkie toe tapping the well-spring.  nothing more, nothing less. who really knows...

For the truth is, I simply feel deflated in every way.

Make it a Good Day, G

It's About Working Twice as Hard as Anyone Else Thing

Dear America,

this morning little old g thing is disturbed by the general messaging going around...it's about the blur of worlds...of spin, of re-direction; it's about taking something untrue and watching it take on a life of it's own, taking something true and turning it into 'there's no there there' -- or taking something true and not saying anything at all, as in 'on the advice of council...'.

I marvel at the dynamic and cringe at the reality.

It's been days since the commencement -- but in the light of this new day, the lingering ire prompts a comment or two before it's full and obligatory release.

And just what, pray tell, has me all tied into knots?  A moment when the president said this:

"...as an African American
you have to work twice as hard
as anyone else if you want to get by."

And basically moving on to make the point, a Morehouse graduate is no exception to the rule.

The thing is -- for this president to stoop to such a tired and worn belief system in front of the best of the best within the African-American community, it surely must be a crime against itself.   While the Left loves to remind us -- whether it's involving political campaigns or purchasing groceries -- demographics across America have changed, watching a thirty second Pepsi commercial proves it so.  So in this new day and age, Mr. President -- considering the office you keep and all -- I do believe times dictate an edit, like yesterday.  But more than that -- wouldn't it be more true to say what is true for you, Morehouse, is true for all of us?

True story coming up, Mr. President:  According to the annals of generations gone by, when my papa brought home an "A" his mama told him 'why isn't it an "A+" son'?   We all heard it, all the time; needless to say, it became a family lesson, of sorts, and likewise became an teachable moment passed on to me, and so on and so on.  Maybe.    Seems over time and through the altering of norms and parenting practices, using a sliding scale with loving discretion becoming widely more acceptable  -- keeping it to a case by case basis, that is -- a simple A became okay.   [Translation: we softened up a wee bit and went the other way!]

And yet -- I can't help myself.  I hear you say what you said to Morehouse and my head begins to spin, wondering, hmmmm, something's not quite right....

If what you say -- as an "African-America you have to work twice as hard as anyone else if you want to get by" be true and a perfectly reasonable argument... I do believe the jury is still out.  But hypothetically, let's run with it anyway.  So how is it that YOU --

  • are totally unaccounted for during the night of the Benghazi attacks?  As you were sleeping, you, decidedly, are so absent from your duties, the administration was forced to mastermind a total lie to cover for you...developing a lie so big, you had to keep it up for weeks and nearly to this day... beginning with the botched, edited, talking points delivered by the  US Ambassador Susan Rice and continuing with you before the General Assembly at the United Nations delivering a full blown scandal.  Is this working twice as hard as anyone else?  Letting our security slip over months leading up to the attack, commanding a 'stand down' before retiring for the night leading to an horrific outcome of 4 Americans dead, and disseminating a lie to cover up the truth?
Knowing me and watching you -- I would have worked twice as hard as you that night.  I would have never gone to bed.  I would have showed up somewhere all night long if that's what it took.

  • are totally unaware of the IRS targeting of conservatives until it hit the news cycle?   When, in fact, your people [administration] are all over this little tit for tat targeting of  predominately 'white, middle aged, conservative, patriotic, tea party patriots.'  [Actions being not only illegal, but clearly smacks of racism, too]  From the top of the IRS on down, the message -- whether articulated aloud or not -- allowed for a sweeping rule of radicals run amuck to attack the opposition.  [Just go back to read G all last week, it will be good 'n plenty for you...]   Is this working twice as hard as anyone else to monitor such a thing?

And yet -- there is a there, there with a trail far and wide to follow -- see here,   and here:  "it really is inconceivable he wouldn't have known",  and for an encore: "let's give her an upgrade and a pay raise here.

"Why was the culture such, under your watch, that an employee felt comfortable targeting conservative groups? Did you investigate that?"

Wish that question was directed to the president.  It wasn't; it was Rep. Trey Gowdy speaking to Douglas Schulman, former chief of IRS, wondering why he didn't do anything to stop "the insidious practice" of targeting conservatives when he very well knew it was happening under his watch -- choosing to mislead Congress for a year and well after the election of 2012.   For full grilling, go here.
The White House knew -- but you couldn't know, according to the people surrounding you and protecting you; oddly, protecting you by withholding information from you.   See here.

While that Lois -- the one taking "the fifth" yesterday -- oh come to find out -- she has a history of targeting conservatives, mainly the Christian Coalition.  And thank you, Mark Hemingway of The Weekly Standard!   [And can someone, anyone, really take the fifth after that same someone, anyone, voluntarily rendering themselves available for cross-examination and further questioning by declaring innocence, having done nothing wrong?]
BUT back to the guy who has to work twice as hard as anyone else  -- not because of the content of his character but for the color of his skin, according to the guy, himself.   How is it then that YOU --

  • are totally unaware of your Department of Justice illegally spying upon the AP Service?  Per your talking head, Jay Carney: "As I said yesterday, we have no knowledge other than press reports of any attempt by the Justice Department to seek phone numbers of the Associated Press."  Is this working twice as hard as anyone else?  Do you even know what goes on under your watch?   What purpose are the presidential daily briefings for  -- if not to make you totally aware of everything going on under your watch -- foreign and domestic?
But while we're at it -- your Attorney General, Eric Holder, who also happens to be an African-American -- said he didn't know either. [I only bring that up -- his color -- because YOU brought it up; clearly, you made the observation, YOU made it fair game for cross examination, if nothing else, no?]   But how is it even possible -- leaving the signing off of a subpoena for phone records to a deputy, maybe, I really don't know?   Is this working twice as hard as anyone else, too?
Oh "Others may get distracted by chasing every fleeting issue that passes by" Obama has it all figured out, doesn't he?  Aiming to take our attention away from the truth...

He has to work twice as hard as anyone else to cover for not working twice as hard in the first place.

The irony is rich, isn't it?

But under further scrutiny, doesn't all of this simply explain what President Obama really means by "we are five days away from fundamental transformation"?  Everyone loves to call him a smart man, right?  Wouldn't this mean he knows exactly what he is doing, and more like he is working twice as hard as anyone else being the community organizer with a legacy of Marxism in the family midst?

Alinsky Rule #13: "Pick a target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."

Alinsky Rule #5:  "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon."

"Others may get distracted by chasing every fleeting issue that passes by. [Benghazi, IRS, AP, and FOX News ]...But the middle class will always be my number-one focus, period. Your jobs, your families, your communities -- that’s why I ran for President. That’s what drives me every day as I step into the Oval Office.  That’s what I’m going to keep fighting for over the next four years." (May 17, 2013)  [Thank you Real Clear Politics for backup.]

Oh yes, every fleeting issue -- the ludicrousness of it all, indeed.

This is what Obama --  courtesy of Saul Alinsky, his mentor -- really thinks about the Middle Class:

"The middle classes are numb, bewildered, scared into silence.  They don't know what, if anything, they can do.  This is the job for today's radical -- to fan the embers of hopelessness into a flame to fight...

So you return to the suburban scene of your middle class with its variety of organizations from PTAs to League of Women Voters, consumer groups, churches, and clubs.  The job is to search out the leaders in these various activities, identify their major issues, finds areas of common agreement, and excite their imagination with tactics that can introduce drama and adventure into the tedium of middle-class life...

Start with them easy.  Don't scare them off.  The opposition's reactions will provide the "education" or radicalization of the middle class.  It does every time." (from Rules For Radicals,  1971)

and so on and so on.

But what do we get from our president?   I don't know; I didn't know until you all knew; that happened under Bush; talking points came from the Intelligence Community; I don't know; only stylistic changes were made, non-substantive;  I don't know; I will not rest until justice is done; we will get to the bottom of this; if this is true; if this really occurred; justice will be served; I don't know; it wasn't me, it was my deputy; I don't know anything about it...Oh -- and you over there -- AP, IRS, CIA, State Department, Treasury Department, anyone, anyone -- trust your lips are sealed...wink wink.

And this, my friends, is what working twice as hard as anyone else looks like.

Oh lookie there, there, my times up; must head out to my other job (just aiming to work twice as hard as anyone else).

Make it a Good Day, G
