It's a Simon Says Thing

Dear America,

what's odd, is that time and time again the people speak by their vote, and what happens in Washington?  (And when I say Washington, this girl is talking about congress; and when I say congress, we're referring to the current republican majority....)  What happens?

....next to nothing.

no matter how many mandates by the people, of the people, for the people -- the GOP majority might as well be putting their tail between their legs and run away trembling; this establishment weenie syndrome is unseemly emasculating all power for real change under the new Make America Great Again administration, as per the people's election of 2016.

fast forward to what happened last night....
....even though this Karen Handel win came with a squeaky toy and a short leash --- it's like, if congress doesn't take this lead and run with it now, not sure what the people will be forced to do next, am I right?

I'm pet sitting this week, can you tell?

Oh this handsome, spunky, intelligent, little Simon is all alpha baby boy at all of nine months old until he meets up with either a loud sudden noise or, a human he doesn't know.  Those two things scare the living daylights out of him.  If we are outside, and something spooks him, his first reaction is to high tail it back inside; if he comes across a human --- either a visitor at the other end of a doorbell or while walking, he barks.  And barks.  And barks.  And barks.

Putting it another way, he makes a lot of noise until he pretty much exhausts himself and gives up.

AND SUDDENLY, a perfect characterization of the republicans in congress comes about....ruff ruff.

Crazy is how much money the democratic machine threw at this Handel/Ossoff special election: 24 million dollars was gathered from leftists far and wide, thanks to Hollywood and High Rollers across the country.  In comparison, Handel's individual donations amounted to no more than 4.5 million dollars.

The Left wanted this so bad, they were willing to gamble with some kind of new breed -- one part pedigree and one part cross breed; the goal was to combine a slick, young, purebred liberal, with what's best described as a mutt -- someone Masquerading Undaunted, Underhandedly, through Tricks and Turns.

Jon Ossoff didn't even live in the neighborhood!
He couldn't even vote for himself!

He led with a lie. (But like what else is new, right?   This is just what Dems Do...answering the age-old question of the 21st century, WWDD:  lie down, sit in, speak; lie down, sit in, speak; lie, lie, lie....  Keep running with that stupidity.  Keep on MUTTERING, keep on muttering.  Keep lying about everything and let's just see who winds up top dog, no matter the contest, from here on out.  I like those odds.)

Ossoff led the district to believe he would come in fierce to cut taxes (really? liar liar, tail on fire), Ossoff deceived the district, making it sound like he was the only dog in the hunt who could both support business while keeping his heart in all the right places.  Translation:  trying to play on both sides of the fence.    Um, how'd that work out for you, boo boo?

The thing is -- this better change things on Capitol Hill.  If they sit on even one more thing, this girl is just going to go nuts and chews...chasing my own tail and all.

Speaking of place where common man meets shaky ground -- READ THIS, from The Patriot Post.

The 'Voter Fraud Doesn't Exist' Claim Is on Shaky Ground

by Jordan Candler.

Good stuff, eh

Shaky Simon's got nothing on this shaky ground.  Russian election interference has got nothing on this level of election fraud....which just so happens to be directly undermining the Rule of Law and Election Integrity, going on decades now.  [And you're right. That last link has nothing to do with undermining elections and so called Rule of Law....or maybe it does?  Journalism is dead in America and Camille Paglia is just strong enough to admit it.  But I digress.]

From Candler's post, here's a good spot to sit:

According to The Washington Times, “The research organization Just Facts … revealed its number-crunching in a report on national immigration. Just Facts President James D. Agresti and his team looked at data from an extensive Harvard/YouGov study that every two years questions a sample size of tens of thousands of voters. … He estimated that as many as 7.9 million noncitizens were illegally registered [in 2008] and 594,000 to 5.7 million voted. … For 2012, Just Facts said, 3.2 million to 5.6 million noncitizens were registered to vote and 1.2 million to 3.6 million of them voted.”

Bueller, Mueller, Bueller...anyone paying attention to this MUTT?  Between the Russian collusion/obstruction investigation and the massive amount of ongoing election fraud, not sure which Masquerade Unbecoming of the Truth and Trustworthiness that the nation's voters demand is most disconcerting.   [oh hello Jeh, Mr. No Vote was altered or changed Johnson]

The thing is -- what seems uncomfortably apparent these days, given the talking points of both the left and the right -- we have reached a point where this country, once resting in liberty and the law, is meeting up against a rabid bitch and Tyranny is her name.

And you know, this girl has no problem with civil discourse; this girl has no problem arguing and debating, using her words and common sense and civility, sans the name calling and finger pointing (well, maybe a little...teehee).

When it came to the political machine, it used to be possible to speak to each other, without the bark.

When it came to making a point, it used to be possible to fight for what we support, in policy and practice, without the bite.

And yet, here we are in America; by my estimation, the difference between liberty and tyranny is tragically only separated by a two by four -- a factor of two bonafide citizens for every four... illegal immigrant, Leftist fraud preaching a multi-cultural lie, Rules for Radical's oppressor, and community re-organizers;  good fences make good neighbors, indeed.

AMERICA is on shaky ground.
And it's in no way, shape, or form a time to run scared wee wee wee all the way home.  CAN you hear me now, CONGRESS?????? Don't sit, step up; after last night, it's simply your turn (again) to turn this thing around.

THINGS LEARNED FROM SIMON --

Simon says, hold your ground.
Simon says, find your courage.
Simon says, stick to the truth; follow through with integrity; and never let them see you shake -- unless it's a handshake across the aisle.
Simon says, 20 Trillion dollars in debt depends on it; free market healthcare system demands it; and may the simplification of the IRS bureaucracy swiftly follow as your next big trick.

Simon says, it would seem the entire country needs a good dose of behavioral training, but of course, teaching an old dog new tricks is costly, time consuming, and a sure test of patience.  But if we don't do it now -- what's to come of us?

Will we all turn into some version of a James T.  Hodgkinson, waging premeditated attempted murder against someone -- this time, a representative of the people, Steve Scalise --  who he happened to be politically opposed,  having an additional list of targets on his person?  (oh yes, Simon, go ahead and bark at that disgrace of humanity all you want.)

Oh this notion makes my stomach turn turn turn.

"In all human affairs there are efforts, and there are results, and the strength of the effort is the measure of the result,  Chance is not. 'Gifts,' powers, material, intellectual, and spiritual possessions are the fruits of effort; they are thoughts completed, objects accomplished, visions realised.
The Vision that you glorify in your mind, the Ideal that you enthrone in your hearts --- this you will build your life by, this you will become."
James Allen
Americans made this mess; and Americans can get us out of it.

This special election in Georgia just so happens to shine another light on the shaky ground we walk... with  plenty of Ossoff/Democratic machine lies as our lampposts.  (Pee on that, Simon.  Pee on that.)

America can be so much better than this.

Make it a Good Day, G

And CONGRESS -- it may have been a squeaker (not really....that was just another masquerade) but make no mistake, you have the bone!  The people have handed you the bone baton, and like any decent relay, it's your turn to run!   Run with it and don't stop; don't look back.  RUN!
