It's an Avatar-in-Chief Thing

Dear America,

We've had such a reversal of fortune, haven't we.  And please note, it's not a question.

What happened to us?

And then it got me thinking of the parallels within my personal life.  Lately, my greatest love, my deepest intimacy, is carried out between avatars via instant messaging. 

Oh the incongruities of the way we were.

The only thing holding it all together is our faith of something greater yet to be revealed.

But the meanderings of my mind quickly escaped being caught up by the 'all about me-isms' and returned to the bigger picture of another day in the life in America.  And just in time, really; the self-pity monster was about to eat me up in one bite.

Of course, it didn't take long until I realized that our country is being run by the Avatar-in-Chief; is he not the composite of an American president impostor, a caricature of a man created out of thin air, masterminded by the liberal elite with progressive, if not socialist, intentions to transform America?

Between his lack of personal history -- except that which the powers that be want us to know...

Between his personal aversions to the Free Market and Capitalism -- except that which powers his incumbency...

Between his personal, sometimes vitriolic, attacks of America's traditions and exceptionalism -- except that which powers an agenda...

The Avatar-in Chief represents the perfect evolution of a man totally unknown and unqualified in every way finding his way into the highest office of the land.  While thanks to his narcissistic tendencies and messiah-like entrance onto the scene, he truly believes in his heart and soul that he can pull it off.

Hence, this is how we arrive at another misguided and disjointed comment like this (from last Friday): "the private sector is doing fine..."

He really thinks that  if he says it out-loud, the people have no choice but to believe him, and follow him.

"I'm sure everyone feels sorry for the individual who has fallen by the wayside or who can't keep up in our competitive society, but my own compassion goes beyond that to the millions of unsung men and women who get up every morning, send the kids to school, go to work, try and keep up the payments on their house, pay exorbitant taxes to make possible compassion for the less fortunate, and as a result have to sacrifice many of their own desires and dreams and hopes. Government owes them something better than always finding a new way to make them share the fruit of their toils with others."  Ronald Reagan

What a contrast, no?


Instead of capitalizing on the characteristics which built a Republic from scratch, passed on through the generations (things like self-reliance, independence, and being at liberty to pursue happiness and accrue property and achieve wealth in every way) -- Obama, the Avatar-in-Chief, is leading us through our days via his virtual house of instant messaging and emoticons (ergo things that aren't even real).

They are mainly to be found in the U.S. military. The thing is, we are losing the spiritual, deeper, richer connection to our past;  the innate faith born into each American and reinforced by a culture grown from a revolution is being suffocated by falsehoods, a narcissist leading a new generation of narcissists, and a preoccupation with apps and social media replacing real conversation, real life, real economics, and real problems.

We are walking around like avatars talking to other avatars under the virtual control and indoctrination of the current Avatar-in-Chief like idiots.   Once the real foundation slips away, what in the world will be left of us?

It's just another twist to a bumper sticker I read just yesterday:  "What happens if we destroy the planet before Jesus comes back?"   (of course, it was plastered on the back of a Subaru, most likely being driven by an environmentalist, and right next to the Campaigner-in-Chief's "2012")
