Just Let Me -- G -- Indoctrinate You!

Dear America,

Warning:
G Spill Sprawling

At first impression... I was looking at a President being swallowed up by the magnificence of the Oval Office; he set himself up to be having a serious conversation with America -- yet the first 10 seconds showed just a man, a tiny one at that, sitting behind a larger than life desk, in a room further enlarged by a wealth of history and countrymen.  His hands were folded in front of him, and slowly the camera moved in for a closer look, to bring America face to face with The One in Charge (since day one).

Strange really.
As he began, he gave us a quick biography of the catastrophe -- as if we weren't already well versed as to the last painstaking fifty seven days.

Now, he may make light of his techie-geek experience in front of a crowd of college graduates, but the rest of us are plugged in, and have been, since day one. (Oh G, enough with day one already...)

(But he keeps saying it)

Yeah, I know, but let it go.

Okay.

So there he was, sitting behind the big desk -- after twenty four hours of live media stream hyping up his first Oval Office meeting of the minds with America -- and after dating us all the way back to April 20, he says this:

"From the very beginning of this crisis, the federal government has been in charge of the largest environmental clean up effort in our nation's history...I assembled a team of the best scientists...[like our Energy Secretary and Nobel Prize winner, Steven Chu]
Call me funny, but wouldn't the Energy Secretary not have to be told to step in with his expertise and brainiac solutions -- wouldn't that just be his job?  What is there to "assemble" there, but placing a Post-It on his desk saying, "get on it, like yesterday."

Of course, moving on, there were moments -- as in most speeches he reads off the teleprompter when he's dictating things he really believes are true -- when I just have to stop and shout out, you lie! at the top of my lungs at the TV...here's one of them:

"We consume more than 20% of the world's oil, but have less than 2% of the world's oil reserve. And that's part of the reason oil companies are drilling a mile beneath the surface of the ocean -- because we're running out of places to drill on land and in shallow water."

Here we go.

With all due respect, are you f**** kidding me, Mr. President?
Now, making comments like this in front of all the world to see just makes you appear...ummm, how do you say.....ummmmmmmmmm, stupid.

Please tap into the Here we go. six degrees of separation up from here for more details, spelled out and based on reality if will you, if you haven't already done so...

Anyway, so once he gets the pesky housekeeping out of the way, he moves in for the real reason for our little chat -- Cap & Tax Green Energy Government Regulation, on deck as we speak.

What immdiately brought back pipe dreams past and present,  was when he said, "I'll be happy to look at [other stupid ideas]...be it from either party...One approach I will not accept is inaction."

Interesting.  Leading up to the Trillion Dollar Health Care package he was saying nearly the exact same thing.  Hmmmm

"In the coming weeks, these efforts should capture up to 90% of the oil leaking out of the well,"  The One in Charge said.
So when he gets back from Vague-cation in the Gulf, maybe we can get real with that.

"coming weeks..."
 for god knows when

"should..."
but would-a, should-a, could-a

"up to..."
for a glass half empty sounds less than presidential

"90%..."
 but don't get me wrong,
certainly not less than 2%,
sure don't want any promises to come back
and kick me in the butt

Without fail, the generalities ran amuck out of the mouth for the longest 18 minutes I've ever had; if not for the boom, laid to wait as a frosty Budweiser between us, lord knows the loss of time and energy listening to a man who needed to say everything and added nothing new...

"because there's never been a leak of this size."
(unless you count your own propaganda stream)

"but make no mistake, we will do whatever is necessary."
(well, duh)

"lay out a battle plan...make sure...it never happens again."
(is that a yea or a nay on drilling in America?)

"we've been in charge."
(since day one...
surprise...
this is what it looks like
when the government is in charge)

"we've approved barrier islands."
(on June 2nd to be exact...six weeks into it...
but who's holding their breath anymore)

"I refuse to let that happen."
(if you say so)

"as we speak...
[factories are opening,
wind turbines are twirling,
energy efficient windows are being hung
next to the chimney with care]"
(and that has made all the difference...)

"only if... only if...only if we cease the moment."
(reaching deep into the emotional archives,
like the now infamous call to action when he stood at the pulpit declaring
"we are 5 days away from fundamentally transforming America...")

The thing is, the best part came at the end! badump ba.

He moved into the realm of spiritual inspiration -- and saved the night from deteriorating into every other hypnotic, run of the mill, mind warp from a presidency on the brink of disaster -- whereas we find hope continues to float (yeah):

"It is a faith in the future that sustains us as a people. It is that same faith that sustains our neighbors in the Gulf right now.

Each year, at the beginning of shrimping season, the region's fishermen take part in a tradition that was brought to America long ago by fishing immigrants from Europe. It's called "The Blessing of the Fleet," and today it's a celebration where clergy from different religions gather to say a prayer for the safety and success of the men and women who will soon head out to sea - some for weeks at a time.

The ceremony goes on in good times and in bad. It took place after Katrina, and it took place a few weeks ago - at the beginning of the most difficult season these fishermen have ever faced. And still, they came and they prayed.

For as a priest and former fisherman once said of the tradition, "The blessing is not that God has promised to remove all obstacles and dangers. The blessing is that He is with us always," a blessing that's granted "...even in the midst of the storm."

Me thinks the great shell game, happening before our eyes in the Oval Office, has reached the beginning of the end; Americans just aren't swallowing the illusion so easy anymore.

Oh the irony really, Sarah would have been far better equipped to handle this worst case scenario -- for as the Governor of Alaska, "75% of her job was spent on ENERGY"...dealing with Oil Companies and the ENVIRONMENT with accountability, integrity, and above all, protecting Alaska and all of it's inhabitants... that was her only job and number one priority from her very first day to the last.

As a "community organizer" the process of "organizing" the best and the brightest scientific minds to put up or shut up (from day one) has fallen a day late and millions of gallons of oil short.  But what else can we expect from a guy who only knows how to layer a bureaucracy in order to fundamentally change anything; he only knows how to motivate from the bottom up through marching, speaking, protesting in order to make waves, and the more layers the better; for remember, he "will not accept inaction" -- everybody look busy.

Ahhh the difference of being IN business and reading about it...woeful ignorance is at it again.

Truth is, the longer we are in this hot mess, the more of a case against oil and for green we go, as according to the administration who lives by an age-old Emanuel custom of "never letting a crisis go to waste"  -- we know this because every year, some time between Rosh Hashanah and Ramadan, under the light of a silver moon (the actual time and place is a secret...shssshh), they gather to pay homage (perhaps as many as 300 of them), along with clergy of different religions...they break bread and eat fish, exchange gifts, and pray for sustenance and strength to last the whole year through.

Upon light of day, one thing we know for sure -- this being the day after an Oval Office Tet offensive -- the bureaucracy of cleaning up an oil spill is alive and well.

"Thank you, and God Bless You -- and may God Bless the United States of America."

Make it a Good Day, G

PS good news is spilling out of D.C. as we speak...in a closed door session, it is official...BO put the boot to the throat of BP and twenty billion dollars will be placed into an account (probably before noon pacific time) to be managed by an independent arm of the government, names to be named at a later date...  Keep it here for late-breaking news...as it's made, manufactured and refined, every day...think of it as your own esthetically designed,  energy efficient window to the world...for the future is now... Life... lick it... kick it, and make way for ducklings.

Dear America,

Let GO Your EGO

We can't fix our problems coming from a position of ego; it simply doesn't work.

When our approach to life is self-conscious, coming from 'what's in it for me' or 'how is this gonna look', we hinder our true ability for success every time.  In light of where we are at with this Gulf Oil Spill, what needs to have a good a** kicking is really our ego (well, not really yours, or mine) -- right out the door.

Over the course of the last 56 days...we have watched the antics of both BP and BO both masquerade as being "the one" in control, attempting to reassure every American that we will overcome, while at the same time, vying for position to capitalize on the catastrophe and gain our confidences.  It's as if we've been hearing each of them say to us,

'I'm in charge'

'No, I'm in charge'

'I'm gonna kick your a** '

'I'm in charge,'

'No, I'm in charge.'

Now get out of my way...'

EGO has been running so deep, that neither our POTUS or the CEO of BP have sat down together (rumor has it, that will take place tomorrow).

EGO has been so huge, our POTUS hasn't even picked up the phone to talk to the CEO -- whether it was upon day one, as in extending his condolences and concerns to a company thrust into mayhem -- or at anytime that has followed, if only to impress upon them the need for speed, confer plans, or make way for government intervention.  No personal contact was made from our president to their president whatsoever...huh? ?  ?

It was as if EGO told the president to tell the Dutch, 'no thank you, we don't need your help' -- when they offered a fleet of skimmers.

It was as if EGO told the president to drum up a "bi-partisan" investigation, to capitalize on all the ways deep oil rigging compromises the security of our environment, and to recommend the hundred and one reasons we need to refrain from this kind of perilous activity in the future, and in the end (in as much as six months from now), justify making knee jerk solutions -- so that we never have to live through this again.

It was as if EGO told the president to send in the Attorney General first and ask questions later.

It was as if EGO told the president to allow for weeks to go by, when in fact burns and berms and booms were just waiting in the wings waiting for approval from the one in charge since day one -- all the while, natural materials just chomping at the bit for their opportunity to save the day sat on the shore.

It was as if EGO told the president to treat BP like the villain, when in fact, America relies on their expertise and bank roll; if BP goes down in flames or shame, recovery not only suffers, it becomes our financial burden to boot entirely; then what?

Of course, we voted for the EGO back behind the man -- albeit, only distinguishable from far, far away, under the setting of a stage and campaign promises.  The elevation of a contender for office works well for the underpinnings of a larger than life EGO; it works in one's favor really -- in the Executive Office, not so much.

Truth is, EGO is never enough when coupled with lack of experience; it may appear to come out fighting; it may give the illusion of being in control; but in the great scheme of things, if EGO is not safely sequestered to the last resort (and only to save a life),  relegating solid, executive order higher management to take the helm, then we are altogether functioning from the wrong intention.

I am reminded by one of science's absolutes, as deciphered through the teachings of Wayne Dyer-- when he emerges with the idea that "the Law of Floatation was not discovered through the contemplation of the sinking of things;" for, to be perfectly clear, boats are made from stuff that indisputably does not float...

So how in the world?

Through the balance of what is seen and unseen, by a natural law that in and of itself appears to look like nothing at all, by the displacement of the tangible with the intangible -- the free flow of air and space, gallivanting in the galleys, keeps a boat afloat.

Only by harnessing the harmony of the raw material -- combining that which would otherwise be deemed titanic assumptions based on defeat, with something so rudimentary as a balance of space through the simple displacement of water --  success is achieved.  Something floats, when in fact it is made out of things which do not float.

During the campaign, America was lifted up by the ideas surrounding a candidate of hope and change. The belief that hope floats entered a whole new realm of being; it was contagious, and pervasive, reaching tidal wave proportions.

The thing is, returning to the Gulf today, our president seems uncharacteristically more focused on the ways BP is sinking, all the while -- with his lack of foresight and business acumen, and ego leading the way --America is being commissioned to go down along with it.

If for a moment we could take into account the same law of floatation, if you will --  how does this approach from our leader neither serve or hold us steady, let alone keep as afloat?

To best connect with the solutions that truly float, BO must find a way to harmonize with BP, using all raw materials available, communing each to it's highest and best good -- not in response to worst case scenario or lowest common denominator of probable outcomes:

  • instead of going against the tide, we must step into the flow of all hands on deck;
  • instead of seeking to punish or criminalize, we must act in accordance with how may I help, first and foremost;
  • instead of trying to sink BP dividends and reinforce bad will between a long time ally and staunch supporter, we must come together for the benefit of all economies involved;
  • instead of demonizing oil companies that provide for the American way of life, we must elevate the need to use our power and resources all the more wisely without dismantling an entire American industry, and jeopardizing our future;
  • instead of turning away any and all offers to help, we must open up the channels for every living soul with a boat, and time on their hands to do something, out loose to trap, cajole, suck up, and harness every drop of oil out there, for time is of the essence.
  • instead of blaming the past for mistakes of the present, take command of the response to save the future; leaders are needed to lead in courage, in action (and anyway, talk is cheap, a sign of weakness when not backed with due diligence).
We know when our ego is out of whack by how we feel; when simply uncomfortable and uneasy, our higher self is speaking to us; when we are angry and lash out -- when we live in fear, worry or wretched discontent -- our deeper teacher is alerting us to step aside; but if our intentions are pure and if the solution feels good -- all anxiety ceases immediately -- our ease and clarity becomes a tell-tale sign that we are riding the right wave, we are heading in the right direction and that it bears the right conditions for a true beacon of hope to see us through.

The challenge is best described by how well we flow with one another, not against; our enterprising ideas coupled with the natural resources we are surrounded with (in people and material) work best when we capitalize on the laws of harmony and floatation; when we jump into the flow with a spirit of how can we assist each other, answers are made manifest that would not otherwise have been recognized -- as the needs of an overzealous ego would surely have stood in their way, wanting credit or achievement in vain.

As we embrace the character that has made America, the story of US has managed to stay afloat by our inherent ability to use what is seen and unseen to the highest and best use.  We give, we make, we do, we live, we accomplish, we create by uniting in the spirit that emanates from the Source of all creation.  "The things we make, make us" (ode to the new Jeep ad) -- the principles we uphold, sustain us -- the foundation of a country based entirely upon the values of 'how may I assist',  lift us, and keep us buoyant and steady at the wheel.

Individually, and collectively, we have a duty to each other to find our way to stay afloat according to our highest and best good; perhaps if we looked to wanting more for others than what we want for ourselves might be a place to start...practicing random acts of kindness, of humility, of generosity, of grace...

Every day in America reinforces the balance of freedom to choose our response, with the structure of that which holds us all together.

To be captain of America takes experience, indeed -- but more than that, it takes someone aligned with the natural law that permeates through her floor boards, ingrained with the wealth of understanding of where we have been and what we are made, while holding true to the explicit commitment, from inaugural day forward, with hand on the Bible, to stay the course.  From this point onward, a moral compass and North Star may be all one really needs, to lead.

Make it a Good Day, G

Dear America,

It is Opening Day of the Del Mar Fair -- for locals, we still call it that -- even though it is officially the "San Diego County Fair."

Does it really matter in the great scheme of things what we call it? Probably not -- it is still home to local 4H club kids showing off their pet piggies and lamby-pies just a hop, skip and a jump from the neighborhood's prize rose bud display in the garden arena; sandwiching corrals together, mixing the aromas of manure and cinnamon buns, we can put the kids on the backs of elephants and ponies; where just a quick gallop away we can come along gallery after gallery of elementary artwork to peruse (or at the very least, play the where's waldo game to find your own) or be awed by some body's avant garde collection of bottle caps, webkinz, or action heroes...

anything and everything you think a fair should be is here.

The rickety rides thrown together in 24 hours light up the night, music surrounds us, and the soft ocean breezes blow in from the west -- simply a squat on the bench with a lemonade in hand carries us into another realm of living in an instant, as if all was right with the world...oh and may you sweet deep fried Twinkies take me away...far, far away.

That's right.  The best thing about the fair is the fair food!

and this year is truly no exception -- for it's theme is Taste the Fun!

It is sponsored by local restaurants, like the Brigantine and The Fish Market...Banners wave along Jimmy Durante Boulevard, advertising the fun and reminding us of the yummy-ness of the world in which we live...like a siren calling us in...bringing us front and center to the limelight awaiting us inside....following our nose we go... to the FOOD, glorious food.  (last year it was the Year of the Heroes -- military, policemen, firemen... which was all  well and wonderful and delicious too).

But I am getting way off the boardwalk already; for the thing is, what got me thinking today -- having started with the opening day of the fair -- has rolled into cotton candy and kettle corn of another kind -- and that is our definition of FAIR.

What is fair?  What does it mean?  How do we live in a fair society, equitably and justly, fair and square and objectively?  Are we living more "fairly" today then we did yesterday, or have we tarnished the word altogether, getting broadsided by special allowances or exceptions to the rule?

For in being truly fair, we must be free from favoritism or bias -- not just sometimes, or under manufactured or social justice circumstances, but all the time; for that is only fair.

We designed a government to be limited and true directly related to the absolute fairness and equality of all men as endowed by our Creator.

Some things in life, we can quickly move to respond, in attitude and/or in action, coming from a not-so-happy place of 'that simply isn't fair...'   A position that is a far cry from sitting on a bench, gazing at the stars up above and watching a ferris wheel* go round and round with your baby girl on the lap and the love of your life by your side, wondering what you're gonna eat next...  A far cry indeed.

Sometimes life isn't fair -- either by sudden circumstance, the fate of the family we are born into, the reality back behind making a really bad choice (or two), or even the decisions made by other people totally out of our control or power to change -- as if...

except for the one key ingredient that changes everything -- YOU! Me!  Our will to change the (mis)fortune laid out for us.  There is a reason everything is fair in love and war -- for we are all equal, real life doesn't give any of  us special favors.  True unadulterated life does not come from affirmative action -- unless that action comes from our own two feet forward.  There are no guarantees in real life -- anything can happen to us, around us, for us, against us at any time.

Once in awhile I catch Oprah's narration of the Discovery Channels latest  mini-series on something aptly titled LIFE.  From a story highlighting the tiniest creatures -- like frogs the size of our finger nail found deep in the rain forests -- to elephants living off the land nestled in the savanna of Africa -- life happens either to them or for them every day of their life, as long as they are alive.  A Darwinian survival of the fittest, indeed; fair? Not in the least bit and in every bit, you bet.

It is no accident America has come so far, and in so short a time; if for a moment we can put things in perspective, I believe it would be quite fair to say that our founders gave America a leg up on this merry go round of life.  While all this time -- sitting on the bench, mesmerized by our past successes and glittering lights -- how presumptive of us to think we could carry on the rich traditions, holding tight to the principles which made us rock solid and fortified, by simply showing up; as if that would be enough.

Life requires action and our responsibility to act all by our self; sure, we may be connected to a family, and may actually rely on that family from time to time -- some of us have no family, and we must rely on ourselves all of the time; but our founders recognized the truth inside each and every one of us, and fought long and hard to bring us the fairest of the fair in government.

From what I can tell, after fifteen minutes captured under the spell of "LIFE" --

perhaps it was the mellow, richness of the voice -- Oprah's -- which immediately puts me in a state of calm and reverence -- to what? its a mystery, but she just has this way about her, a voice distinction second to none, I'm positive I could sit on a bench, somewhere in Chicago, and listen to her all day --
but anyway, as she narrated real life happening before our eyes, I'm beginning to think the animal kingdom has a leg up on us!  We have no way to know for sure --  but I ask you, do you think they sit around and lament what they don't have, hanging about the water hole, just waiting for dinner to come to them, like a handout?  Do they not have to show up every day, be it the tedious lifting of relocating their eggs out of danger so that another generation can live -- or climbing down the death defying sides of rocky cliffs in search of food five hundred feet below -- or run after rabbits or squirrels or prairie dogs before breakfast can even be had?

Animals weather acts of God, acts of man, and heinous acts of fellow animals while simply struggling to survive to live to see another day, every day, day in and day out, sun up to sun down, with sleep on high alert the entire night. Animals live neck and neck with a day of survival or not, as if it is just part of their DNA...maybe because it is; they make it look so natural, so easy really, or is it just the fact that we don't normally see it everyday?  The animal world is in constant conflict, dog eat dog is a reality; how can we be so lucky?

Is it fair to say that we are truly advancing, or are we getting dumb and dumber?

From another angle, are we simply spoiled with our food being caught for us, in our fancy homes protecting us, with our children never knowing what a hard day's work is all about -- you know what I'm talking about, chores at dawn, homework before play, dishes after dinner, with lights out by nine --  and doing it all over again in the morning.

We have life so easy.

The thing is, what is most fair, when it really gets down to it, is everyone being treated the same -- the only leg up is the recognition of our duty to each other; that the continuing success and prosperity of this country, individually and collectively, comes to those who truly understand that there is no leg up in the first place.  We must be motivated to make of life with what we are dealt.

Will it always seem fair? Just? Right? Without bias?  Most likely not; but that's not the fault of the system, that is the fault of human nature.

As just as easily as it may come to some of us, it can be just as swiftly taken away; right now I have in mind the latest casualty, Reggie Bush.  Oh my goodness, a sad day for those of us who live in our  neck of the woods -- a local boy who has been shamed by a system bearing gifts and special benefits to his entire family just because he could play ball. With his Heisman still in jeopardy, only time stands in the way for justice to play itself out -- fair or not, the actions -- every one's, not just Reggie's -- cannot be undone.

While across the ocean we have another level of ball playing out for all the world to see -- for the first high stakes event, The World Cup, of all things -- is on display in South Africa.  Without question, we could have a field day with story-lines of what is fair and just being played out for generations under a veil of unspeakable injustice and long lasting anguish on both sides of the river...the country has been in a state of unrest for forever and a day it seems.

Rather, since sporting events never fail to pick up on the plethora of soul stories for the full scoop on the community of athletes, as well as the surrounding collective,  it may be more fair to choose to listen to real life stories play out of remarkable people rising out of nothing, watch a city light up for the first time ever on the world's stage, risking everything and taking billions of dollars to do it; and hopefully, in the end, be in the midst of witnessing something truly great -- a turn for the better in every possible way for a region wrecked by racial strife and challenges.

And for those of us looking out for team USA, another local boy, Steve Cherundolo, an alum of Mt. Carmel High School here in San Diego, is playing for the American team. And when he was asked about being up against England on Saturday -- a entire team tooting the horn of million dollar babies (with a combined annual salary of $85.8 milion dollars! God Save the Queen) -- he had this to say:

"It's still a team sport, our huge advantage and our biggest weapon is our team spirit, our team unity, our willingness to work for one another..."  all in all, it's just "their eleven guys against our eleven guys, reputations go out the window," added a team mate, Jay DeMerit.
It's a game, and any team can win.  Is that so AMERICAN, or what?!

In other words, it's life -- we live it or lose it, to the fullest extent of the word itself, every day.

Our founders gave America a gift; our government was limited by choice. And to that end, America's success was very much reliant upon the entire team to do their part, day in and day out, fair and square, and most of all, without favor.  They truly believed in our individual ability to succeed in life, through liberty, in our pursuit of happiness; and further, that it was not only free for the taking, but unlimited, whatever we could dream it could be --  if left to our own hard work, talents, and strength of character to usher us into greatness.

To piggyback on Cherundolo, America's secret weapon would be our team spirit, our unity, our willingness to work for one another...with no legs up...and certainly no handicaps.  We could win on our own two feet, and accomplish anything we set our mind to, or totally blow it.  Knowing full and well, things may not be fair and just and right (like a recent no hitter baseball game that didn't get into the history books...)

It might even be said that America lives for the underdog --  and quite possibly, was made by underdogs -- for out of nothing we came out of nowhere and made something happen.

We are a country that, for the longest time, has been home to the fairest of the fair, the land of the free, home of the brave, and the best and the brightest (even if it's only a state of mind) for as long we have lived; the key now, will be convincing our children, and our children's children, just how much work it takes, day in and day out -- and with that, another anecdote, there ain't no thing as a free lunch (I can see we have a whole lot of work ahead, now don't we).

The fair is in town only once a year -- for the rest of the time,  our moments sitting on the bench with a glazed over expression doing absolutely nothing must find a delicate balance between a life of action and a life of consequence.

However it turns out, rest assured LIFE doesn't play favorites, anything can happen, from beginning to end, until the whistle blows -- if the good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise -- and that's just a fact, of life.

Make it a Good Day, G

Realizing this has no merit and has nothing to do with anything, but maybe England's soccer team could pony-up to help England's BP problem... and dribble a few bucks our way to help clean up the gulf...just saying...85 million dollars a year! ...talk about kicking some butt...

*  the Ferris Wheel, was invented for the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition in 1893 -- by an American Engineer,  George W.G. Ferris (1859-1896).  The purpose of the fair was to challenge american engineers with the task of toppling the engineering feat of building the Eiffel Tower, with something even more magnificent.  Mr. Ferris' idea was thought to be ridiculous -- but he was determined.  He wished to design a contraption that people could ride and be able to view the entire expo...and he did.  It cost $400,000!  But low and behold, in the end, after charging 50 cents/twenty minute ride -- they even made money!  Mr. Ferris was in litigation nearly to the day he died, fighting to recoup his money from the organizers.  He died of typhoid fever before he could enjoy a penny -- fair?  hardly.  But boy did the rest of us luck out.

Tuesday, June 8, 2010

Dear America,

So first, happy primary Tuesday; the day we find out who gets the honor to fight for one, of many, ungodly jobs come November; in other words, we find out who's on the front lines to kick some ass and who isn't.

Oh, I'm sorry for the french, but did you not catch that kind of language coming from our dear President today?

It was his johnny-come-lately attempt to sound like he had finally drummed up enough emotion over the Gulf Oil Spill -- for he said he is determined to get to the bottom of it, in order to find out "who's ass to kick."  So that's his new self-perscribed title now, Chief Ass-kicker; and don't forget, he's been Chief Ass-kicker since day one.

The thing is, the way G sees it, there is room for a lot of ass-kicking these days, as we are seemingly surrounded by dumb asses when it comes to running this place -- but who's counting anymore, right?

You would think that the President would have quickly discussed with BP to give all the business of their poorly run PR campaign to an American group, instead of one who's headquarters is found also across the pond, like the Brunswick Group (for all we know in the building next door to BP).

We can only assume that at least part of that 50 million went immediately to an array of American communications companies -- who I'm sure were all too happy to hold out their hand to receive plenty of greasy, oily, dirty money from the world's latest villain, so there is a little light, right?

Does the President really think using street language we can all understand, with a kick-ass visual to boot, makes himself sound more in touch with us -- and more importantly, of the ongoing catastrophic event happening in the Gulf, as we all sit on our ass everywhere else but there?  As if the Chicago style politics is the way to go on this...did Obama's PR guy, David Plouffe, who now has permanent residence in the White House, come up with that powder puff piece of ass-kicking?  Or was that all you, Mr. President -- off the cuff and the teleprompter?

BP tried to kick ass at the start, remember?  BP came out strong, out of the gate, pointing fingers to the actual builder of the rig, Deepwater Horizon -- Transocean, as taking the sole honor of being the initial ass to kick; for it was Transocean's BOP (Blowout Prevent-er) that blew!  BP leases "said BOP" from Transocean, along with all the other hardware attached, to the tune of $450,000 a DAY -- at least, that was the going rate before April 20, 2010. A day! -- for a lease they have only had since 2007, I might add.

Do you think Hayward was a bit upset, given how much his company has spent by the day for the assurance that all was well and good; that is money down the drain and plum gone -- 52 miles out, and a mile high deep -- needless to say, money in no way, no how, well spent.  So who kicked who's ass to the curb there?  Did BP get what they paid for?

Now, in reality, Obama has been on BP's ass since probably last week -- by all appearances.  He was forced into this position, of being on BP's ass, since about the time he began to be accused as being single handily distracted by golf, athletic awards being dolled out on the Whiite House lawn, traveling to fundraisers for people like Barbara Boxer (talk about needing to kick this pretty little ass out), and hosting White House dinners with friends like Mexico's President Calderon (who, come to think of it, gave Arizona an ass-kicking in and of itself... in front of a standing ovation in congress, si sempuede...but that would be kicking this conversation ass backwards, now wouldn't it).

You would think Obama would take advantage of the plenty of ass-kicking opportunity all the way around, and throw a little of it to the Swiss based company, Transocean, just to be fair and balanced.   But what do I know.

Part of me is also beginning to wonder just where are the American-owned oil rigs and the American Oil Companies reaping the benefits of the American waters in the gulf?  Ahh right...so now we get to Halliburton.

The primary ass to kick may be Halliburton -- for they were in the middle of plugging up the pipe just before it blew up.

But nooooo, BO is hanging his Chief Ass-Kicking hat on all BP; in the end, BP is spending $450,000/day to get it's ass kicked every which way to Sunday and back again.

And in the end, in the environment of an administration which never lets a crisis go to waste -- in the spirit of the government knows better than you -- I'm with the government, I'm here to help -- we get the government back to making knee jerk reactions that kick the nation's economy, along with every Americans ass, where it hurts.  As if halting all deep water rigging, and any chance of getting us off middle eastern oil, is a logical, methodical, reasonable, and shows any promise for reaching a responsible, long term outlook response from a cool headed leader.

Yeah, let's go in and kick some ass first, ask questions later. (Sounds an awful lot like a health care argument, or maybe that's just me.)

And the nerve of BP fetching the Brunswick Group to help save the day to the tune of 50 million dollars?

Who would run to the PR guy at a time like this?

A company desperate of staying in business?  Perhaps.

It's really all the same...

How about a president who is beginning to look like he's gonna blow any minute?

How about a president that is in the midst of loosing any semblance of support for any number of things...between the stimulus package, unemployment, national debt, deficit spending...lack of reaction to terrorists, over- reaction to "stupidity", to mixed reactions from charging forward a mammoth health care package against the people's will?

How about simply a president's response to the way he responds -- which is ironically swinging from either showing not enough emotion or going too far every time?

If only someone could help him out a bit...

Paging David Plouffe...

...time for a few more plouff pieces, time to get me on the road again to sell Americans on what they really really want...   How about we set out to remind people how much they really want our trillion dollar health care package, right about the time we mail out a few checks to our seniors...yeah, that's the ticket...we mail out 4 million checks, @ $250 bucks a pop, just to close the gap you know, and spend like a billion dollars! (like we all know who pays for that)...forget the fact that "the gap" will only get worse... at least this will convince everybody I'm here to kick some ass and save the day... albeit doing a bang up job kicking the can on down the road...

In the midst of the worst environmental and economic disaster the gulf states have ever faced, in the midst of unprecedented unemployment and economic dysfunction as a whole, who pray tell told BO to return to another catastrophe, like the campaign on health care?

Whoever decided that was a good idea should have his ass kicked to the curb.

Perhaps a few people are acting out on bad advice, but be that as it may -- one thing I can't help but notice is there sure is a lot of money being thrown around to do it.

Whether it be the USS FED, or an oil rig hanging out in deep water, they seem  to have one gorging reality in common -- it is much like owning a boat. And you know how that goes, owning a boat is like owning (or leasing) a hole in the water in which you pour money up the ass!

Make it a Good Day, G

And if you are one of my neighbors, you better have voted today.

My apologies for all the times I said the word ass...bad girl...which, just for the record, was a whopping 26 times.  way to kick some ass, girl....make that 27...

For ongoing Obama PR and vital propaganda, you can also go to his "independent" website, Organizing for America. I would ordinarily link such things to you, but this time I just can't bring myself to making it easy to find his a**.org.

Dear America,

This was found at the end of  Star Parker's weekly column this morning (read it!):

"1957, Golda Meir, a future prime minister of Israel, spoke at the National Press Club in Washington. She said, unfortunately prophetically, 'Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us'."

We acheive world peace when we choose world peace.

Star's column -- which usually never fails me -- lends insight on a number of things, whether it be from the teachings of a man who recently past away (Art Linkletter) to the long and winding road in a land called Gaza;  our life is simply made best when our philosphy comes from a place of peace -- while the gift of something we like to call hindsight usually tells us, "things turn out best for the people who make the best out of the way things turn out."

I don't personally know Star -- I wish I did; for she is a powerful voice of community in relation to all things.

She is currently running for congress in the Los Angeles area, Long Beach specifically, and including areas you may have heard of before -- horrendous political, racial and economic areas, like Compton -- otherwise known as the 37th Congressional District --  unfortunately, a district not my own.  But do you think that would keep me away? not.

She is actually running unopposed in this primary (wonder why that is, perhaps it's because it is home to one of the scariest districts in the country... or maybe, cuz she's a triple threat to anyone who would dare, just sayin') --  the only one seemingly in her way now is a long term democrat to beat on down the road come November.

Anyone want to help her out?  For let me tell you, LA could really use all the help that they can get right now.  Go to:  http://www.starparkerforcongress.com/

Tomorrow is a big day for California.

As tea party members set out to rock the boat, and vote, tomorrow, as Israel continues to protect it's waters against Hamas, as everyday people venture out to make the best of the way things turn out, let us stop and give thanks that we live in America.

And more than ever, that christens us with the obligation to come together to protect and honor America in every way we can. We must muster the same faith, the same strength, as what culminated  in Boston so long ago -- the tea must be thrown overboard, while the lawlessness of intruders in government, threatening our long term peace, must be defeated.

It's a simple as that.

And that's all I got to say about that (say it like Forrest Gump).
Even though I'm just one girl, I've gotta run and go do my part to save California now.

Make it a Good Day, G

and if it ain't so good, make the best of it, whatever way that looks, whatever floats your own boat...do it for Art, do it for Star, do it for Gaza, do it for America, but most important, do it for U.

And thank you, Star, for always inspiring me to be a better girl living in community with others.

Dear America,

Robert Downey Jr. did it.

Bill Clinton did it.

New York City did it. (more than once)

Michael Vick did it.

Britney Spears did it. (sort of)

Kate did it. (minus one, plus eight)

That's probably enough for now; I think you get my point.

There are numerous, countless ways we find examples of picking ourselves up from defeat happening all around us.  At almost any given time, someone, somewhere, some way, finds a way to overcome adversity, bad judgement, poor timing, irresponsible behavior, or otherwise failing in some way, shape, or form.

Picking ourselves up from defeat, coming back from behind, rising out of the ashes, making lemons out of lemonade is the American spirit built into each and every one of us -- even if we our totally unaware.

We keep trying.

We keep at it until the job is done.

We live with purpose and determination, not to let the going get the best of us, even if the going gets rough.

It comes, believe it or not, from our Judeo-Christian roots:

"Nothing is impossible with God."  Luke 1:37

"It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35

"Therefore we do not lose heart.
Though outwardly we are wasting away,
yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day...
so we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, what is unseen is eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:16-18

This faith, this hope, was built into our American mainframe over generations, over centuries.

We have this inherent ability to overcome anything; and it is manifested, in ways large and small, day after day.  For the reality is, and always is, accidents happen; mistakes happen; sh** happens; bad things happen to good people and good people can do bad things, and in the mean time, we fall in categories of being bystanders, activists, and story tellers -- or maybe victims, warriors, ministers and saints. We get involved or we don't; we speak up or we crumble; we move forward or fail miserably.

Grey area has never been a strong suit...

We have fairly good news coming out of the Gulf this morning, it is being reported that the pipe has successfully been cut, and now BP can follow up with placing a cap on the gushing well.  It is a moment when we can all take a collective deep breath and give thanks -- to whomever you please.

My mind has been stumbling lately over an idea that may seem catastrophically strange -- I've been wondering what would happen if, all upon the same day, everything that could go wrong actually did?  What would happen?

If this question doesn't ironically answer the age old question of how much is too much government, then I don't know what will.  There is a reason for limited governance -- for the government is not God; it is inconceivable and incalculable for the government to be everywhere and fix everything for us -- for it is impossible.

For one, we would run out of money, pretty darn quick.

For another, we would run out of able bodies to come to every one's aid, pretty darn quick.

Our ability to rise above adversity, no matter how great or how small, comes from within us -- and really only us...and that, I believe, centers on our relationship with God, with a spiritual world who goes before us and with us as we face our good days and bad.

I caught up with Jillian Michaels' new show, aptly titled for the purpose of this blog, "Losing It with Jillian"  -- which aired last night.  In this moment we have neither time or place to discuss every issue, but the one that is still ringing in my ear is pertaining to the daughter -- who was about to get married.

She followed the footsteps of her family, gaining alot of weight throughout her teens -- and ultimately found reasonable success in weight loss due to having gastric bypass surgery (along with her father, which didn't work at all).  But months later,  she still battled with a core belief system which no longer served her well; she lacked a key element in her own worthiness to receive something good, on the inside she was still wasting away.

Not until she was able to overcome the mental hurdle of getting over her own self-loathing, her own inner struggles, her own lack of love for herself, was she ever able to allow herself to feel worthy --

The thing is, even with a solution -- a quick fix -- a surgery to physically correct the dynamics of eating too much (ergo like the government rushing in to save the day...) nothing will push us to make the changes we need to make within our own mind; albeit the damage imprinted on our brain is based on a false belief system in the first place -- but in the second, it cannot change until we make it so -- until we truly believe.

Back to the show six weeks later, we come to her wedding day in full view of a family renewed, enlivened, and glowing from ear to ear -- who collectively lost over a hundred pounds, having shed years of Twinkies hiding from facing multiple realities.

Sometimes, just the weight of the world is what keeps us down and we don't even realize it.

Sometimes, something catastrophic happens, and rips our world apart; sometimes, it's a long, slow deterioration of our spirit; sometimes it appears as someone else doing it to us -- and other times, we get there all by ourselves.  It really doesn't matter.

But what would happen if everyone had a really bad day all on the same day?

What would happen if the BP oil spill was on the same day as the recent coal mine disaster, and the Three Mile Island explosion?  What if on this same day, we has hundred year floods on every river in America -- hurricanes over the Gulf,  and the entire East Coast, all at the same time?  What would happen if the market fell, and the housing market fell, and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were found to be totally insolvent, and criminal charges were about to be filed?  What if on this same day, Iran dropped bombs on Israel, and the entire Middle East was at war -- and there is no way to get oil to America at all, with trucking and commuting to work halted indefinitely?  What if on this same day, Toyota, Ford, GM, VW, Subaru, Honda, Hyundai...recall all models of cars from the last ten years? ...wouldn't matter, no gas anyway...but I digress.  What if on this same day, McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Sonic all had to recall their beef from each of it's restaurants, while their was also an e-coli scare for every lettuce and tomato in the country --millions of stomachs were adversely affected at a time when hospitals were already overloaded with patients from other catastrophic events?   What if on this same day, Johnson & Johnson realized a batch of Tylenol for kids was harmed, their cleaning products were each found to cause cancer in rats, and Pledge was discovered to do more damage to wood than good?  What if on this same day, a gunmen held hostage a subway in New York, terrorists bombed every city hall, while every local bank encountered a need for law enforcement for robberies performed with guys wearing the same Richard Nixon mask all, at the same time?  oh yeah, and the last pound of bacon ever to be made was sold (as the government outlawed it's production, along with salt.)

You get my drift.

As unrealistic as it sounds, catastrophe can meet up with us without warning, and it is only by dumb luck that everything doesn't hit us all at the same time.

But if we can dwell in reality for just a moment, the truth is, the omniscience of our government is simply not there; and by design, by the genius of our founders, it was never intended to be.

Sure, regulations are good; rules are good; laws are good -- but there comes a time when we realize we are living in a false set of security; and that there is such a thing as too much of a good thing, for it lulls into believing all sorts of things (besides producing a nation of followers and not doers).

But what truly ensures our security in our world comes from our roots.  It comes from entrusting our very living and breathing to the civility and morality and responsibility of always doing the right thing for one another at all times, not just some of the time -- or at the very least make every effort to do so.  Without such an unspoken agreement with one another, we would be living (or dying) in chaos.

BP wants to fix the oil spill just as much -- if not more -- than the rest of us; for BP is on the hook to pay for it, and in more ways than one (and a gander at their stock may give us a clue as to why).  They want to do the right thing, as the more they appear not to be doing the right thing, the more their reputation and future success is damaged.

You would think, with the government relying on BP for clean up, for money -- for the business of BP to stay in business in order to facilitate both -- you would think that the government would be doing everything in it's power to support the means to the reasonably happy ending for everyone.

Instead, they demonize BP; instead they "put the boot to the throat"; instead, they separate from BP with horror and condemnation as an act of strength, when in fact, it couldn't make them appear any more weak -- for they have no idea the damage being done to a company already vulnerable.  Acting tough does not make one strong; making BP look bad doesn't make government look better -- for they authorized the activity in the first place; and neither makes the problem go away any faster.

Does this sort of "I'm with the government, I'm here to help" really have to look like a stranglehold on BP, with threats and actions of filing criminal charges before all attention is turned in the direction that it should be -- finding a solution, unceasing, until we meet with success?  Not to mention, BO said HE WAS in charge -- and from DAY ONE...what part of being in charge do you not understand?

Needless to say, the criminality factor is the least of our worries right now.

Right now, we need to overcome a catastrophic event by stopping the leak, protecting our wetlands and our beaches, going to the aid of millions of animals, and preserving whatever fishing industry and livelihoods that remain in wait.
(of course, if the government didn't push oil companies into deep water rigging in the first place...due to the environmental lobbyists demanding the riskier retrieval practices over the far more  manageable land and shallow waters approach....this first catastrophic oil rig disaster in 30 years may not have been so out of control, just sayin')

But even still,
Even if today finds the surgery on the pipe completed,
the cap plugged high and tight --
what lies beneath the surface is how we each overcome the damage already done.

How do we start over?

Where do we find sustenance?  Where do we fill our souls back up to live to see a better day tomorrow?  Who do we turn to and how does our faith save us?  How do we respond, personally and collectively, to get over it and on with it --  and just what might possibly lay in wait, having the strength to hold us back?

The beautiful thing about a catastrophe -- if there is such a thing -- is that we find out rather quickly who we are and what we are made of.

Make it a Good Day, G

Our laws were created out of our duty and protection of Life;  Frederic Bastiat, a Frenchman, said this (with thanks to The 5000 Year Leap by W. Cleon Skousen):

"We hold from God the gift which includes all others.  This gift is life -- physical, intellectual, and moral life.

But  life cannot maintain itself alone.  The Creator of life has entrusted us with the responsibility of preserving, developing, and perfecting it.  In order that we may accomplish this, He has provided us with a collection of marvelous faculties.  And He has put us in the midst of a variety of natural resources.  By the application of our faculties to these natural resources we convert them into products, and use them.  The process is necessary in order that life may run its appointed course.

Life , faculties, production -- in other words, individuality, liberty, property -- this is man.  And in spite of the cunning of artful political leaders, these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it.

Life, liberty, and property [pursuit of happiness] do not exist because men have made laws.  On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws [for the protection of them] in the first place."

Dear America,

"How can limited government and fiscal restraint
be equated with lack of compassion for the poor?
How can a tax break that puts a little money
in the weekly paychecks of working people
be seen as an attack on the needy?
Since when do we in America believe
that our society is made up of
two diametrically, opposed classes
-- one rich, one poor --
both in a permanent state of conflict
and neither able to get ahead
except at the expense of the other?
Since when do we in America accept this alien
and discredited theory of social and class warfare?
Since when do we in America endorse the politics of envy and division?

Ronald Reagan

The "politics of envy and division."

Unfortunately, this describes rather precisely the very nature of our current administration; the values of the liberal elite in charge under the new age of the Statist's rule -- over the values of the majority of Americans who continue to live somewhere right from center -- while conservatively speaking, a simple majority that it is -- ever so loyal to our founders, our Constitution, and the liberty for which we all stand.

Somehow, after electing the one man we thought would bring about the change we could all believe in -- promising hope, winning upon a platform of transparency -- guaranteeing to us the American people, that he was the one to entrust our country, in order to restore order in Washington, clean up corruption, and begin telling the American people the truth -- he was the one.  He was the one who convinced us, that from day one, he would be the one to go line by line to cut unnecessary spending and fraud and wasteful earmarks.  He was the one who would be different, he promised.

Yet,
between the early days going around the world apologizing for America's exceptionalism, birthed naturally from the stark realities of the last two hundred and thirty eight years, and going about "restoring" the world's confidences in us by belittling who we are...

by masking our greatness and ability to defend democracy all over the globe under the veil of bowing to the envy of other nations...

and for all intents and purposes mocking our Judeo-Christian roots which, of all things considered, have directly anchored our country through unprecedented challenges and periods of remarkable prosperity, advancing this nation to the position of the leader in the free world -- over a seemingly very short period of time, I might add...

All this, having been accomplished after the regime change within the first few months.

Then,
taking our attention inward, little by little, he expanded the demoralizing of America by separating us.

Of course, some might say this started on day one as well -- when he divided Americans over Gitmo, declaring he would close the military prison within his first year.  Immediately, it was a case of Bush vs. Obama, the war vs. Obama, the military tribunals vs. civilian rights, 9/11 victims vs. terrorism, you name it, he divided it, piece by piece.

Then, we had the white officer vs. black professor incident -- he should have left it alone, but nooooooooo, a president "acting stupidly" divided blacks and whites from Harvard to UCLA; so much so, that there was a beer summit to smooth relations over -- but really, the damage was done, just like that.

And who could forget the deep divide created by the fact that he painstakingly didn't jump to any conclusions after the Ft. Hood attack -- done all in the name of Allah Akbar, at the hands of a disgruntled Army Psychiatrist with a history of making his obscene radical Islamic views widely known -- committing thirteen counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder all in the name of Allah Akbar! -- oh my mistake, the man made disaster that it was.  In the middle of two wars against the brutal reign of terrorism in the Middle East, and against the Americans from 9/11, did we watch our President rise up to meet it with full disdain right from the start? nooooooooooo.

Then, there was last summer -- far be it from a summer of love; able bodied simple Americans, with the energy and will to fight the good fight against an administration and congress gone terribly wrong, were quickly labeled all kinds of derogatory names just because they attended town hall meetings in droves to speak up against universal health care.  Oh let's see...what were they called...racists, Nazis, teabaggers, astro-turf...and so it begins.  Aside from it being uncomfortable for him, did our president speak up on behalf of one of America's best and brightest founding tenets, the freedom to speak freely? Oh allow me to answer that for you...nooooooo.

How about we run through a list of dividers, not uniters, rather quickly:

  • Banking (aka capitalism, free enterprise, people with paychecks) vs. (ignoring the main culprit for the downfall, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac),  the poor
  • Health Insurance (aka the evil 3% profit margin insurance lobbyists -- along with fraudulent doctors, hospitals, drug companies to name a few -- in the country world-renowned for the best health care in the world -- where also 85% of the people were somewhat happy with -- until the debate opened a sinkhole the size of Texas) vs. the poor
  • Pitting Wall Street against Main Street, when all streets should meet at the same place vs. the poor
  • Chamber of Commerce, small businesses far and wide vs. the world, definitely Obamacare, the poor

And let's add a few regional issues -- remember now, we are talking about this Administration's penchant for division:

  • The building of a mosque at ground zero, Muslims vs. New Yorkers specifically, most Americans, generally...did Obama jump in to temper the conversation in support for America, as a whole?
  • The trial of 9/11 terrorists in New York, Muslims vs New Yorkers specifically, most Americans, generally...did Obama jump in to temper the conversation in support for America, as whole?
  • The oil companies -- specifically BP vs. fishermen, the Gulf States, and anyone who truly cares about the environment -- which argumentatively by a few liberal elites and against all secular thought, is all of us, even conservatives; but the point is, Oil Companies are very very bad...perhaps even criminals...even still, politics over clean up is the choice being made from day one, and as we speak.
  • The new Arizona law vs. The Fed, Hispanics in general, The Fed, the disenfranchised, The Fed, unions, The Fed, boycott cities, The Fed, oh yeah, and the poor -- when in fact, it protects from racial profiling better then the Fed's own laws -- when in fact, the Fed refuses to engage with this issue fully nor take full responsibility for it coming to this in the first place.

"The bottom line with every example boils down to this. Entrusting a viable banking system, or safer oil drilling, much less your healthcare, to government is taking a bigger risk at a higher cost than anyone realizes." --radio talk-show host Roger Hedgecock

That little gem was found in The Patriot Post today:
(recommend going to The Patriot Post http://www.patriotpost.us/subscribe/  as often as you can.)

But moving on,
Obama had a umpteen chances to be different, to follow through on his pledge  -- to bring the nation's political divide together in every one of the above occasions.  Obama could have chosen to make each and every situation an example of the new age of diplomacy and show us how the American spirit can rise above petty political differences.

Instead, we watch a President, time and time again, side with ideology above what is best for the country.

Instead of making things an American concern, an act of American protectionism, an avenue bringing the community together for the common cause of securing our peace, perhaps starting with our borders, we get more of the same -- let's see how many more times, and in how many more ways, can we split.

Instead, he invited Calderon to speak in front of congress to a standing ovation while blasting our efforts to protect human rights everywhere -- especially Mexico's mass exodus of illegals to U.S., and as he continued to attack a sitting Governor and a law that conforms to our federal law, while basically telling us, if we weren't a nation of drug addicts and gun owners none of this ever would have happened...

Rising to a situation pitting an entire nation of law abiding immigrants against those who don't just like that; rising to another situation pitting the haves against the have-nots, again, just like that.

Envy
Division
Envy
Division
It's a nasty cycle; but I ask you,

"Since when do we in America believe

that our society is made up of
two diametrically, opposed classes
-- one rich, one poor --
both in a permanent state of conflict
and neither able to get ahead
except at the expense of the other?"

Apparently, if you  believe everything you hear, ever since we voted for the guy we have all come to know as the one in charge of everything.

And I, for one, refuse to believe -- either in methodology or ideology -- anything counter to the American Spirit back behind our success. Opposite to popular belief via our mindless media or this progressive administration, our foundation is better than that -- and built to outlive the woeful ignorance seeping into every corner of our world.

We may be under the illusion the worst disaster to ever face America is due to the BP oil spill (not to diminish the fact that it really is), or the "inhumanity" of how we treat our "immigrants", or our audacity to call the actions of radical Islamic terrorism on our soil what it truly is -- but in truth, the worst disaster may be gurgling up from within.

The cause -- envy and division furnished intravenously from our federal government, with gutless enablers to our dysfunction coming from our propaganda press; the effects --- separation anxiety, migraines, name calling, loss of work and plenty of violent outbursts, making way for a whole lot more envy and division -- thoughts of suicide, shortness of breath, heart attack and depression, may be a sign of worsening -- call someone who cares or seek out the cure.

The cure --remembering we are AMERICANS first and foremost;

and with that, we each have a duty and responsibility to raise little Americans to live in community with one another, to try our darnedest to be good Americans ourselves, and learn the importance of uniting against a government built upon tyranny of all kinds, in all kinds of places, seen and unseen, and subject to teaching fallacies and misrepresentation of the facts with wanton disregard -- rather than one built up and beholdened to the land of liberty and justice for all, the foundation from which we are made.
(if you need a little help, go to the http://www.the912project.com/)

We are neither "opposed classes, one rich, one poor" -- we are simply one; our ONENESS is what we have in common, and the place we start -- or finish, rather abrubtly, if we aren't mindful of the cure.

For we are the UNITED States of America, you know.

Make it a Good Day, G
