It's a Downright Foregone Conclusion Thing

Last Thursday, when the staffers were complaining of not getting the $15.00/hour plus health benefits package -- the same kind of entitlement package Bernie is touting on the campaign trail -- as in the same kind of government co-dependency programs that all of the left winged presidential hopefuls keep insisting upon through agendas featuring fundamental transformation to the 2020th power -- Bernie found a solution........wait for it.....

The solution is to "limit the number of hours staffers work to 42 or 43 each week to ensure they’re making the equivalent of $15 an hour," he told the Register's Brianne Pfannenstiel

hahhahahhahahhahhah

and he then added: 

 "It does bother me that people are going outside of the process and going to the media," Sanders added. "That is really not acceptable. It is really not what labor negotiations are about, and it's improper."

yes indeed, airing the campaigns dirty laundry in public is quite improper. What, are you british now?

just love that, "going to the media...really not acceptable..."  can't you just hear it coming out of his mouth?  but honestly, since when have you believed that, Bern?  Union negotiations have long been bosom buddies with the media -- from both sides!  How else is the public swayed; how else do the negotiations feel the burn and come to an end over merely the stress factor, the amount of human suffering alone is enough, right?  omg

the irony of the situation came whipping back like a boomerang; although, I still don't think the Bern even gets it.  His answer is always the same thing -- tax more, he says.  Talk like a Brit, sound like a Brit, he must be a Brit, that Bern.   You know we colonists had a knock down, drag out, hellacious war over taxation, right?  You know just finished celebrating the independence from those oppressors of the olden-days, like only a couple weeks ago, right?

And just love how Representative Dan Crenshaw responds: "So does this fall under the category of hypocrisy, irony, or poetic justice?" Crenshaw asked. "All three? Can’t make this stuff up."

The thing is, if this insane $15.00 minimum wage can't work within the confines of a small political campaign, how in the world does Bernie expect it to work in the real world? 

As the Fox News post continues to point out --

 "This situation is an instructive example of the downside of more than doubling the minimum wage," wrote The Blaze's Aaron Colen. "Companies don't just suddenly get more money to pay employees. They have to make tough decisions; usually either cutting hours, or worse, cutting staff."

And since when does it make sense to basically double the current  federal minimum wage, like, overnight?  (like,  this girl is so sounding like the AOC today, like for sure)   

Sure -- like, businesses won't feel the burn at all going from $7.25/hour (set in 2009) to $15.00 with a quick vote from parliament.  oops, I mean congress.    boom! bust!  ha!

And besides --  many states, almost half of them actually, are not affected by the federally mandated minimum wage at all,  as they already land somewhere above it!   For example, most of the state of California is at a minimum wage of at least $12.00, going up to $15.00, depending upon municipality. 

But the thing is --  this game of minimum wage hikes and government mandates is getting America in a situation much like that of the British Open (ironically played in Northern Ireland, at  Royal Portrush’s Dunluce...am I the only one to find that funny).   

And forgive me (not really) if I carry you off the day's course for a wee bit....

That was a totally awesome day, yesterday, as the Irishman, Shane Lowry, took the most sizable portion of the purse!  He won!  And he deserved it!  He played better than all of the other players!  By a long shot!  Even in inhospitable conditions of rain coming down sideways, winds, and lots and lots of scary things all around the course, from bunkers to weeds to cliffs to hilly greens.  It was an amazing four day spectacle of true grit and talent -- and Shane conquered it all and won!  And he was paid handsomely for it, too, nearly 2 million dollars!  But runner up, Tommy Fleetwood -- although a wee bit higher on the handsome side, got only 1.2 million....and so on and so on.  

Even though they all played the same number of days, the same course, with the same weather, with the same challenges...one got paid more than everybody else.  imagine that.

You see -- if you demanded that everyone get the same fair living wage in the tournament, there would be no tournament.  k?  can you dig me another bunker for your shock and awe?  

awww  but G, that's not the same thing, you're comparing golf balls to basketballs....oh really?

No matter the industry -- whether for sport or for commerce or for service -- there is always the existence of supply and demand, of risk and investment, of capital in and capital out, of gains and losses, of development over time and patience, of market leanings, market evolution, to markets totally disappearing... and all coinciding with the natural separation of personal experience and expertise and talent and dedicated amount of time!   And when you add it all up, that makes way for proper distribution of winners and losers and everyone in between.  Even if it's for charity. 

It remains a mystical, magical, economical equation -- much of which is no mystery whatsoever.   It is all fair play according to the open marketplace; an open marketplace like the one a money guy like Adam Smith imagined...class, no matter your class -- middle and otherwise -- please engage and read up on the ideas of Mr. Smith and make your own foregone conclusions.

The more America drives away from being the land of the home and the free within the security (and spontaneity, shall we say) of the enterprising, free market, full capitalist, dimension, the less security and wealth we will attain, let alone keep.

In order to do this, the free and open marketplace must win; and socialism -- of every ugly, miserable, envious dimension -- must lose!  bigly.  very very bigly.

Bernie's campaign has illuminated everything we need to know and understand about the fundamental transformation he is pitching to all Americans.  1)  Most importantly, it doesn't work  2) why do something that has been proven time and time again NOT to work?

THIS knowledge of the TRUTH. this liberty, and many other pillars of virtue --  of faith, of courage, of the hidden power to change an entire culture -- is the reason why the preachings and teachings by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were so remarkable; and in the context of American history, itself, unparalleled to this day.

I say this nearly every anniversary of his birth -- oh how I wish he were here.

From the president's twitter:  "Today we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for standing up for the self-evident truth Americans hold so dear, that no matter what the color of our skin or the place of our birth, we are all created equal by God. #MLKDay"

Troward expresses this idea like so -- "[O]ur liberty consists in our reproducing on the scale of the individual the same creative power of Thought which first brought the world into existence, 'so that the things which are seen were not made of the things which do appear.'  Let us, then, confidently claim our birthright as 'sons and daughters of the Almighty,' and by habitually thinking the good, the beautiful, and the true, surround ourselves with conditions corresponding to our thoughts, and by our teaching and example help others to do the same."

Dr. King LED by following these teachings of the Word, and led by example, opening up a world of new thought, while pointing all Americans in the direction of right thinking, so that one day his dream -- of relating to each other beyond the color of our skin, and of being far more interested in our character -- would one day be living inside the hearts and minds of us all.

One thing is for sure, in addressing where race relations are today -- it would help a whole helluva lot if we started with the truth of the matter, from the start.

People like Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders -- who are using this sentimental day to push fake news and propaganda, is simply bad form and unnecessary... unless, of course, they only wish to stir lies to push an agenda, or delegitimize and disparage a sitting president. 

"We've learned in the last two years, it doesn't take much to awaken hate, to bring those folks out from under the rocks," Biden said. "That part of American society has always been there. Will always be here. But has been legitimized."  (Whatta dark thought, isn't it)

"It gives me no pleasure to tell you that we now have a president of the United States who is a racist... "  Bernie addressing a crowd today.  (And whatta about that for another dark thought...)

I mean, c'mon, this president has actually done more to improve the lives of African-Americans by his strong stance on illegal immigration, his intent to build a wall to control the gang violence and the illegal drug flow into this country, improving the economy by eliminating harmful government regulations and thereby creating more job opportunities for everyone, and has just completed major prison reform laws! ...something not even a President Barack Obama and VP Joe Biden could do, let alone show any sign of attempt!

It was Joe Biden that spoke of Barack as being -- oh how did he put it -- let's hear it again:

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

Clean?

um ABC on CNN... three strikes, you're out, Joe.

But this Bernie quote from today  --  of course, Trump is not strong on character in many departments, but calling him a racist, is a flat out character assassination without cause. But the best part, is Bernie beginning with, "it gives me no pleasure...;"  Seriously, Bernie?  but we digress.

It's not like anyone in the left-wing media is going to call him on it, either; I mean, they -- this media of ours -- are still choking on a couple of other stories that turned out to be downright manufactured.

It's more like BuzzKill the truth; or BuzzFuzzylittleliars; or BuzzSpeed swirling recklessly to a lawsuit, or two.

Thing is, it doesn't even matter once something gets out there -- whether it's truth or dare or scare; what's done is done.

Much like football; once the call of the ref is done, it's kinda done; replay can only take the truth so far.  And even if the truth is, a huuuge mistake -- a mind-blowing bad call on the field -- it is still done.  Of course, in real life, this meant a difference between going to the Super Bowl and marching home until the Saints can try try again.

Now -- full disclosure, I was rooting for the Rams; but it's irrelevant with what I am about to say:  I think -- and have been thinking for quite some time -- that the penalty we recognize as "pass interference" has got to go.  Maybe its just me....but I believe in the power of both teams having the chance to interfere with a pass, fair and square.  It's football! This is what it's all about!

The whole truth of the matter  -- good and bad "pass interference" calls have led to a change in possession, to touchdowns, and have interfered with  regular season games, all the live long day and all season long.  All season long.  Am I right? 

Truth is always in motion -- from football, to thinkers, to preachers, to teachers, to communicators of all things large and small.

Let me ask you, honestly, did this one bad call, made by the refs, even after a replay, and then more replay, really decide the game --- making way for the reason the season was over for the Saints?  Let's ask Colin Cowherd. 

Oh how I do like a clear thinker and communicator...hubba hubba; my baby's a lot like this...mmmm what a man, what a man, what a man....whatta mighty good man...oh, man, girl... get a grip on yourself...and stop your daydreaming and stay focused on the task at hand....indeed.

It's a Day in Wonderment of Everlasting Grace Thing

continuing on the week's theme -- be it wisdom of the ages or the bounty of things aged --

Martin Luther King Jr. was born Michael King Jr., son of Michael King Sr. who, as a preacher, chose to take the name Martin Luther -- the German theologian/monk solely responsible for the reformation of Christianity through his writings...a plethora of scathing rebuttals of the corruption of the word of God within the Catholic Church.  Circa -- early 1500's.

Long story short, having been excommunicated from the Church, Martin Luther -- now just a monk without a job, without means, and in exile --  translated the Bible into the German language so that the common man could read the word of God without the Catholic church translating and disseminating the Word with their own twist, shall we say, with affection.

Anywho -- can we just say wow.  Michael Sr. took a old white man's name -- dating back over 400 years! And eventually, Michael Jr. followed!  And granted, Martin Luther stood for something rather incredible. And -- of course, who am I to know what Michael Sr. was even thinking, right -- there is that.

But what gets to the heart of the matter (my heart, anyway) is this beautiful expression of kinship,
this deep connection that proudly crosses racial lines and barriers, and comes together to align after four centuries, recognizing a certain standard of character and resilience and determination and above all, faith, that exemplifies the unfettered capacity to transform lives; now isn't that one for the ages!

No matter the color of Martin Luther's skin -- the reformative power and strength of his accomplishments, especially in relationship with God, became the catalyst of an entire identity change for the young preacher, Michael King Sr.  He looked to the ages to find himself, and ultimately become more of the man he was destined to be -- and by this action, and to the very end of life itself, a Michael King Jr. became a Martin Luther King Jr.. Thus, a legacy of unimaginable cultural reform humbly began to take shape, soldering what was once old with something new, through ideas, through the word of God, through great pain, and by name (as ancient as it ever was).


Transformation and reformation are pretty dynamic things.   The fight takes on a life of it's own.

And I'm thinking now of the magical eight years it takes for a two term presidency, knowing the intent in the heart of a young Barack Obama was called out in no uncertain terms when he said, "we are five days away from fundamental transformation."  In relationship with this fact, did you know that the Revolutionary War lasted eight years?

Now it can be said, an administration bearing the great fortune of an entire eight years to "reform things" is working with iron, for no matter who comes following along in the procession of presidents, government itself becomes a mighty fortress -- unable to be easily penetrated.  It remains a  safe hiding place for anything to happen, from make believe to a full makeover in bronze and gold.

It's an enormous amount of time and resources made available for every whim and fancy -- for better or worse.

And speaking of the Catholic Church, did you hear that Bernie went straight from the democratic debate in Brooklyn last night  to Italy's Vatican City?  Indeed; it is planned to impress upon his followers, lock step with the Pontiff, the "urgency of a moral economy,.."  yadi yadi yada  Which only reminds me of how our founders recognized the pitfalls of  designing government around the power and corruption of the church in the first place....oy vey.

And speaking of man made "man-made climate change," did you hear that a bevy of new scientific research, authors, and therapists, have come to the realization a little infidelity may not break us anymore, but are now telling it on a mountain that it just might  make us stronger?  (Here's a good jumping off point, the truth about infidelity...)  Wonder what the pope would say to that, considering he is rapidly becoming famous for his loosely translated Word of God, pontificating profusely upon his lofty aims --  global transformation by way of redistribution of wealth and resources, with free access and wanton use of the Catholic Church?   Hasn't he learned that politics and popes do not mix, whether we are talking happenings on high, in the heavens, from Mother Mary to  Mother Earth.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio, of Argentina, was elected pope and leader of the Catholic Church and Vatican City in March 2013.   At the time of becoming the 266th pope, he chose to take the name Francis, in honor of the great St. Francis of Assisi who was born Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone, and lived from September 26, 1182 -- October 3, 1226.

St. Francis of Assisi once said, " Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."

Isn't that just superb!

I'm meandering through the ages with abandon now...
but all good things must come to a pause some time.
And we are there.

As the weekend beckons us to stop -- to spend time with the family, spend time giving thanks, spend time resting from our daily grind -- my hope is walking on a dream;  I hope that we stop to wonder what an aged Martin Luther King Jr.  just might say today, looking around at such discord and strife, and what remains after nearly eight years of total destruction ("transformation")  under President Barack Obama.   I wonder what America would look like, if perhaps Martin Luther King Jr.'s life had not been taken away from us so soon; I wonder where a lifetime of actions and words of a  young preacher, Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., would have led us...

All in all, this becomes just a day sitting in wonderment of everlasting grace and a life now only imagined.

for the rally cry, nearly in unison, and crafted to move the audience from deep depression to standing ovation -- is that it's time for a new New Deal.  And if it was said with a shrill, even better, right Hillary?

Obama phones and shovel-ready jobs got nothing on the deal we have for you, if you vote for me:

Free public college for everyone, free healthcare for children, women and old people,  free education for illegals, free healthcare for illegals....even mandating  a raise in minimum wage from sea to shining sea...AND increasing taxes on the greedy, wealthy, God-forsaken top wage earners, Wall Street, and especially those nasty hedge fund guys. Free Free Free everything ...for everyone...except, of course, those at the top.

Gosh, do you even remember that near trillion dollar stimulus package of 2009?

You know not one republican voted for it.  Not one.

It was this stimulus package (just a wiki link) --  along with the horrific direction the "Affordable Care Act" (just another wiki link) legislation was taking -- that prompted THIS little miss thing to come to life ...in living color, creating

[you know blogs are not only an equal opportunity industry, it is a totally gender neutral realm...to the point of near irrelevance, if choosing anonymity ...Unless of course, like me, you choose to build a site around it (giggle)...  But it's hard to believe that Hillary considers her best qualifier to be the next president is the fact that she is a girl and there hasn't been a girl president yet...It's like c'mon Hill, you're a feminist and want to be treated equally across the board until you want to use your femininity as a qualification?  Affirmative action, hear me roar. And shriek.]

Besides echoing the NEW NEW DEAL philosophy of redistribution governing, the democratic players on stage each angled to outdo the other in "outsider-ship."  Which is funny -- considering the combined total number of years dependent upon a government bureaucracy paycheck of one sort or another and paid for on the backs of tax payers is obscene; what an embarrassment.

What do we, the tax payers and dutiful citizens, have to show for it?

For this near 20 trillion dollar debt, and the over 200 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities (funding things...things large and small..... things dating back to the thirties and  still going, going, gone and  way beyond comprehension) is already crippling us AND  stifling our every move.

Our economy is no longer free to be -- whether it be under free enterprise or under "free" federal stimulus.  We are choking on debt,  and this group of yahoos, I mean, dimwitted democratic candidates, insist the answer is MORE?

Nothing is free.

There is no such thing as a free lunch

 (or free college, free healthcare, free food, free housing, free anything, freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!tee hee !!!!! ha ha ha.......That was just my screaming Hill coming out.  Did you catch the hackle at the end?)

Everything has a cost, a price -- whether it's a commodity, a property, a service, a soul, or a future.  And everything has to be accounted for -- in other words, paid for, in the end.  Or else, clearly bankrupt, it IS the end.

Everything is "paid" for on the backs of taxpayers...you; or everything is not paid for, and is promptly tallied into our National Debt.    FEEL    THE     BERN (and thank you to my morning muse on that little number xx my baby girl didn't make it up, but she told me xx).

But it's the ideologies that take advantage of the poor, the hungry, the faint of heart, the downtrodden, the desperate, the uneducated, the minority - especially by voter block -- in order to keep the power -- that poses the greatest threat to America (if not the entire free world).  For it's these ideologies that lie, beg, steal, borrow, and promise to fulfill dreams of the populace without disclosing the details, the true costs, the fine print, and inevitably, the certain challenges and constraints we place on all future generations to make these dreams come true.

It's fraud.
And quickly, a  bernie sanders becomes no different than a bernie madoff.

facts are a sticky thing.

So let's use FactCheck.org, shall we?

• Sanders wrongly said that the U.S. had “more wealth and income inequality than any other country.” The U.S. ranks 42nd in income inequality and 16th in terms of wealth held by the top 1 percent.

And if we look at the top 10%, U.S. ranks in 7th place, with the upper 10% holding 74.6% of the wealth -- with Russia (1st place) Turkey, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, falling in above us.

Whether we look at the top 1% or the top 10%, the answer's the same: we are not guilty of having "more wealth and income inequality than any other country."

But Bernie --

Given the 'compound interest' upon the welfare state we've made (to date),  add the exponential rate of raising dependency upon government (absent the intentions of our founding, built upon a citizenry of independence, self-reliance, and true liberty) --  America has grown less wealthy, enjoys less liberty, and is LESS FREE with each inauguration since the New f@%& Deal! (ahhh that link takes me back...)

All things considered -- you still say a new New Deal is your answer?...And it's Hill's answer?...Is that with or without a conviction on keeping a private email server and transmitting confidential top secret information on it, and then lying about it, and then, after two years,  finally turn over emails, only to reluctantly admit you might have made a mistake...and all in all, have Bernie's blessing to let it go, claiming nobody really cares.

Wrong Again.

Nearly 60% of Americans take issue with the level of dishonesty and lack of credibility; and 54% of those polled believe Hillary put America at risk.    That is a problem; a problem, I might add,  NOT created by the republicans leading the investigation (republicans being her self-proclaimed worst enemy), but by Hillary, herself.  [Just gotta wonder why controversy follows Hill and Bill with everything they touch......it's rhetorical]

And We haven't even begun to discuss all the climate change chatter.  Oi Vay!

How ignorant -- making such dumb ass claims against a basic, organic, life-force such as CO2,  And Bernie even went so far as to call it the biggest National Security Threat!?  Have you lost your mind?

Maybe Bernie should be the one to take the president aside and have a little heart to heart about the planet and all of his Air Force One joy rides....like the one just last weekend.   The president left Washington last Friday and went to Oregon  -- to talk to the families who lost a loved one at Umpqua Community College about gun control -- before then running off (in his plane) and making stops in San Francisco and LA for some fundraisers, and making a stop here in San Diego for a round of Golf @ Torrey Pines and a couple of good night's sleep in a 5-star resort, Rancho Valencia, before returning to Washington on Monday afternoon.  [take off about 1:45PST...ask me how I know...I happened to be looking up and in the right direction at the time...and lo and behold, there he was, taking off from Miramar! He was right there! Spilling CO2 all over the place!  I tried to look away, but I just couldn't...the plane was simply breathtaking.  I was mesmerized.] 

Here's a post from The Daily Caller, going back to the President's Earth Day celebration  in April -- and choosing to celebrate the day by flying down to Florida and back....For the trip of of 1,836 miles round trip, his plane would spill 90 tons of carbon dioxide emissions!   Or, as The Caller points out:  To put this into perspective, it’s the same carbon footprint as 17.2 cars driving for the year. It’s also the same as burning nearly 88,000 pounds of coal or burning 190 barrels of crude oil.

Talk about being on the wrong side of an argument, read this.

Climate change policy is just another method of redistribution; it's just tapping into the fears, using tactics available to create change and re-organize communities by lying, stealing, and transforming America's fundamentals.    Same old, same old. Blah blah blah.

The thing is, this morning, and after a little bit of rain last night -- I'm feeling refreshed in a weird way.  I sincerely hope it comes down to Hillary -- because WE, the right, can take her! But IF Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren team up for another round of eight years (sixteen even, if she turns around and adds another eight) of fundamental transformation, it might be over for freedom and liberty in the good 'ole US of A.

Ugh just the thought of that is giving me a panic attack (so much for the pitter patter of raindrops on my little head lulling me into nirvana).
